Love the song and love hearing MJ's voice again. Just gorgeous. Think it was a mistake to borrow from Earth Song at the end there though - those unique sounds belong to the classic Earth Song which is probably in the top 3 songs of over half of MJ's fans and that shouldn't be messed with. But other than that - thumbs up, can't wait to put it on full blast on the stereo in Dec!

I for one "get him". MJ being a prankster is an under-statement. What has happened in the last few days is amazing. Family members saying it's not MJ, Mother Kate and the kids on Oprah, a new CD, Sony saying it is MJ. Some family members against Oprah, others on a date with Oprah. WOW!  You gotta love the slow, piece by piece movement of this hoax. I need a box of popcorn to watch it.  
We have to remember MJ is in control. We have to beLIEve, no matter what and Trust him.

That kind of publicity on a good song I would believe. Not on this song.

I agree this is not a good song. It's a fabulous song! And I also believe it's MJ voice singing on it.    What's missing is those unique MJ sounds overlaying it because he was not there to put his perfectionist stamp on the FINISHED product.

Even more relevant now that we know this new Sony track is a fake and Opis None certainly is not.

We do NOT know this new Sony track is a fake at all - just because it's attracted speculation does not make it a fact!

To me all this fits in beautifully with BACK's predictions (read threats). Can you think of a better way to create controversy and therefore peak interest in the lead up to MJ's first album release in nearly a decade than speculation whether it's his voice and he is not 'here' to prove that it's really him singing? The publicity is priceless!

I wanted to take this opportunity to sincerely apologize to the
Jackson family, his fans and to TMZ for my act of both ignorance and
random stupidity this past weekend!

Our goal in releasing” Opis None” was simply to satiate fans appetite
for unreleased MJ music and to provide a vocal that the world could
believe strongly was an authentic MJ vocal, when in reality the song
turned out to be solely a remake or remix of an old Jackson track
titled “Destiny”.  The MJ fans pointed this out within 15 seconds of
the track going live, however the damage was done.

For the record: At no point in time did Mrs. Jackson give me
permission to release the track or frankly did she even hear the track
in the first place. That stupidity was ALL ME. We grabbed the track
from a series of masters we own and researched the title and found no
listed release titled “Opis None” in the MJ releases and I felt it
sounded like such a weird track for an MJ song, the fans would get a
kick out of it. I certainly did not expect fans to become enraged with
Miss Jackson about the track as it was given away for free and was not
intended as a commercial product.

Mrs. Jackson is a sweet, kind and giving person, much like her son
Michael Jackson was known to the world. As his loving mother, she was
bar none his biggest fan.  Our goal at JacksonSecretVault.com is to
pay tribute to the legendary artist and artistic visionary that was
and is Michael Jackson. The fans are entitled to a higher level of
integrity then I demonstrated this past weekend and for that I am
sorry.

When the world sees Mrs. Jackson on Oprah tomorrow, they will see a
devastated mother trying her best to both grieve the loss and also to
celebrate the life of her iconic son.  I hope the fans will not hold
my stupidity against her, as she is a truly quality woman who has
certainly been through enough!

By the way, “Opis” should be spelled “Opus.” Whoever wrote it on the tape that Mann found couldn’t spell, obviously.

From the archives of Jackson secret vault, we’d like to present a free authentic remake MJ track for the fans.

This track was NOT released by Mrs. Jackson, this is a dance remake created from unreleased masters in the JacksonSecretVault.com archives. We sincerely apologize to the fans for any confusion.

:lol:  :lol:  Well someone has definitely ''taken the piss'' with this whole episode from the get-go. The song is crap, surely fans and non-fans didn't take this seriously? I'm astounded how deeply sucked in MJ's fans can get by anything with his name on it, seal of approval or not. And since when is the proposed website - JacksonSecretVault.com - more correctly an e-commerce site that markets Mrs J's book - considered a fan gossip site Jackie?  :lol:  :lol:

This thread has got way out of line with all the armchair psychologists commenting on MJ's personal life - any celebrity would be utterly mortified and seriously pissed off to read all this speculation about sensitive personal issues they may or may not have had as an adult or a child, so imagine how Michael would feel. Ask yourselves, how would YOU like it? How would YOU like it if your kids ever read this tripe now or in the future? Stop it, you are not doing anyone any favours, least of all yourselves. This thread should be deleted or at the very least the speculative posts erased. :oops:  :cry:     :x

Okay, let me get this straight.  Is this the title of the new single on the album that is to be released in December?  Is the title of the song, Breaking News?   I really want to think it is the introduction into BAM.  But, could this merely be a song that is on the album and be one of the songs he had written that was never released?  Perhaps it was written during one of the trials or maybe earlier on in his career?

God, I don't think so, my heart is racing and is really wanting to think he will be returning very soon, like MONDAY     But if I do, and it doesn't happen,  I will be so deflated.  

Tell me what some of you are really thinking this is.  

MAMS, I think it's nothing more than a great title (hoax or no hoax) on what will no doubt be a great song. If the snippet we've heard is part of it, I already love it.  8-)
