I agree that the beauty of a forum like this is that we get to see a whole myriad of ‘colors’ in the different personalities and perspectives.  What I don’t agree with is that it is ever ‘ok’ to dismiss someone, or say an unkind word, or be rude.  Is it difficult at times to keep emotions at bay? Of course.  Am I perfect?  Far from it...I am probably the least ‘perfect’ here.  But that doesn’t mean that we should just accept violence because we haven’t learned to overcome it.

I’m not sure if any of you have ever heard, or read, Krishnamurti (he is the gentleman who you see giving a speech at the beginning of Zeitgeist).  He is someone whom I admire tremendously and who stands as a prime example of “one of the greats” that everyone should “study”.  There are plenty of youtube videos of him, as well as a wealth of books by him, for anyone interested.

Here’s a quote from him about violence:

“Violence is not merely killing another. It is violence when we use a sharp word, when we make a gesture to brush away a person, when we obey because there is fear. So violence isn’t merely organized butchery in the name of God, in the name of society or country. Violence is much more subtle, much deeper...”

I am in no way suggesting that anyone should be a ‘doormat’ and have people walk all over them.  There will always be people that come at you or try to disturb your peace of mind.  But there are ways of getting your point(s) across without resorting to ridicule, dismissal, and/or rudeness.  In fact, it takes much more strength of character to rise above anger than to give in to it.  How are we supposed to ‘change the world’ or ‘make that change’ if we cannot even remain respectful on a forum (no less dedicated to a man who stood for peace)?

As for building an army...if I were the one building it...I would much rather have soldiers that do not ‘react’ in anger as soon as the wind changes direction...because they may inadvertently shoot the one(s) whom they are trying to defend.

With L.O.V.E. always.

overreaction.

IF cotw was Michael Jackson and he came here to say he's dead... then I'm proud as hell that I had the guts to stand up and tell him to GET LOST.

And all the wet blankets that wanted to hear him out about how *he* was dead....? In my opinion FAILED that test.

If you're gonna go through 15 months of clues and inconsistencies and discrepancies and then throw it all away because some ANONYMOUS source spouts off a bunch of 3rd hand knowledge, well, you FAIL.

Wet blankets?

Why don't you just tell everyone what to think.

Jude is Jude bec is bec just words to fill an empty space

and I think for myself, I live my god damn life my way, and know one will sway me into thinking their way, not cotw, not ts, not you or anybody, I;ve payed my dues, so don;t even try to bully me, your up against a wall when it comes to that, and yes out with it TS, if you don;t then its time to consider the real agenda here

Watch your language Jude...

Now c'mon Mo, you have used your share of bad language as well, or was that Souz, I wish I could post view topics, yes, that don't make it right , I know.

I;m calling out this TS to reveal themselves or risk losing all crediblity, its shit or get off the damn pot time.

TS if you have any balls at all you;ll let the people on this forum know who you really are and quit screwin around with people, its not a game anymore.

Dear Jude, thank you so much for making burst out laughing and having to wipe off my tears of laughter!!  Seriously, I haven't had such a good laugh in a long time...

Prejudice IS ignorance, you just proved that.  Before you judge - READ IT ALL, instead of quitting after TIAI Revealed, Part 3.  You have 19 more posts to go.  Let the evidence speak for itself, and then come back to talk about people screwing around and someone losing his credibility unless he reveals himself.

Well I'm glad you had such a gut busting laugh, maybe I can get on stage with this story, and I;m still reading it, and I'm still not falling for it, I guess its that mind of mine wanting to think for its self, and I;m not judging, well if you think thinking for myself and telling it as I see it, which I thought was called, your own opinion, is called judging, then thats between me and the maker.

But lets just see what happens shall we, lets see how TS responds to the call out, and I'm betting on not.

Pictures & Videos of Michael / Re: Have you already listened to this tape ?
« on: September 22, 2010, 12:36:25 PM »
Michael said he was torn between his mother and Latoya, for me, this says it all, that Latoya told the truth and that his mother was an acomplice to the abuse, no other way to say it.
Now comes the question of, if Michael knew his mother just stood by and watched it happen, then why would his give his mother custody of his kids, and, is the abuse still continuing.
I honestly feel that no one, will ever, know the true scale, of what went on in that family, ever.

And thanks Mo for the link, you know I;ve never read so much in my life, and I am enthralled by it.

Well, I do not see here as a process of a "game", but as a process of "research" to discover, or at least get closer to the truth about what happened with MJ, though the site / forum is premised the farce.:?  This process of "research" involves the sharing of ideas and discoveries, questions and opinions. But as the hoax is just one possibility among others (suicide, homicide ,..)... they can not or should not be discarded simply. If our actions or reactions are based only on the possibility of fraud, we will keep going in circles, literally.

Hows that then? We shouldn't disregard debunked theories in the course of our research? Then why are we researching? What's the point?

I think the line TIAI / TS is useful for (most) of us as a hope, but at the same time, their arguments are flawed, because if there is some indication that reinforces the idea that MJ really died almost immediately that the hope is canceled, as has been happening. Well, these arguments are framed by a science (?) - Numerology, based on supposed "clues", tips, coincidences, symbolism and other events or situations in life and work of MJ and also attitudes and behaviors of family, media and other means, directly or indirectly, are or have been involved. Then, the TS sends us to choose the alternatives that are supposedly more likely to have been a hoax, but I think most of us would feel safer if also aware of the choices and beliefs of the person TS ... not only give us the task or the challenge of finding the answer yourself. :?:

 :?:  :?:  :?:  I didn't understand a word you said.

We are so determined to prove that MJ is alive that anyone who discusses or presents information against our beliefs is attacked. We should be able to intelligently and politely discuss all motives whether they are uncomfortable to us or not.

It seems as though we've become a little too dependent on TS feeding us information (and TMZ), not really being told directly what the true motives and beliefs are".

This is my shortened interpretation and I agree.

It's Her - thank you for your interpretation of the AR. Do you have experience in the field?

This so called TS , I started reading it, untill I got to the reference he made to Alex Joans, who I realized 3 years ago was nothing but a loud mouthed fear mongering war mongering ahole, who riles the people up to suit his agenda and then hides behind them and laughs all the way to the bank. Anyone, in my opinion, who references Alex Joans is just grabbing whatever information he can, anywhere he can, and feeding it to us in the hopes that no one will look into it too deeply.

And who is he anyway, we just blindly follow this guy without question, but hey, COTW comes here, wont reveal who he is, and is run off. That my friends is called a double standard,

I;m calling out this TS to reveal themselves or risk losing all crediblity, its shit or get off the damn pot time.

TS if you have any balls at all you;ll let the people on this forum know who you really are and quit screwin around with people, its not a game anymore.

And to all who want to tear this apart, go ahead, its my opinion and I stand by it, I;m a big girl.

Paris, Prince Jackson May Testify at Doctor's Trial
Conrad Murray thinks they'll help his case

(Newser) – Things seemed to be going pretty well for Michael Jackson’s children, but that may not last long. Dr. Conrad Murray, who will stand trial for manslaughter in Jackson’s death, plans to call Prince and Paris Jackson to the stand. “Prince and Paris knew their dad relied on Dr. Murray to survive and knew their father adored him,” a source tells Radar. Murray expects the children to admit their father was addicted to drugs, and specifically wants Paris to testify to statements she reportedly made soon after Jackson’s death.

“After saying goodbye to her dad at the hospital, Paris said, 'My daddy is so cold again. He was always cold. He would sit by the fire to get warm. We were always afraid he would fall in. ... He couldn't get warm. Now there he is ... so cold,” the source says. “Their comments, if they back him, could save him from jail because it would work well in the eyes of a jury.” Murray’s lawyer denies the report.

I put the last sentence in bold because I didn't see the denial in other reports of this story.  Notably, TMZ did not break this one (unless I missed something).  Personally, I don't think it has any merit and I question any connection to the hoax.

If this story has merit, and if this is a hoax, then it just went too far by including the youngsters. We shall see.  :o

Random MJ Talk / Re: Do I have a place here?
« on: September 21, 2010, 12:06:42 PM »
Quote from: "curls"
I feel quite depressed today, as I don't know if I have a place here. I can't manage to put together a coherant theory, or do the maths for TS's challenge. Like many others, I haven't been here since 'the beginning', and I often feel 'lesser' because of that. I'm still learning, I'm still forming opinions, I don't think I have it all sorted and I have an open mind that tells me just about anything is possible in this hoax but I often hesitate to post for fear of attack. I don't know if I can be a part of this if I don't feel comfortable about voicing ideas, thoughts or questions, when there are such forceful, dominant, outspoken people around, seemingly ever ready to pounce.

I feel really uncomfortable about threads in which there is a lot of bad feeling, arguing etc, you know the stuff. For the most part, I keep out of it, but still it leaves a very bad taste. It upsets me when people just won't let things go. We're never going to all agree on everything and yes, no doubt, some come here simply to cause trouble, but the attention and negative energy spent when these things happen, to try to hammer home a point to someone who doesn't want to listen, or who has their own, equally valid (to them), opinion is totally draining. Meanwhile, genuine, quietly 'spoken' posts get overlooked or ignored in all the drama.

I'm hesitating to post this, but I will anyway because these thoughts are eating away at me today.

You're already on the right track  ;)

Finally - the best way to find out if someone is legit is the test of time. Let a person talk and if that person is legit what they say will come through solid. If they aren't legit their words will start to show cracks in the foundation of their stories. Never do we need to call a person a liar. The liar will be found out by their speech all on their own. Please, let's learn a little patience and treat every guest as though they are family instead of like the pack of hungry vultures out to eat their young. Thank you for listening.

I agree!

I can't believe the guy/girl has been run off like that, saying hes full of shit, what is this, conform or be cast out?
Oh, come on, maybe you should read the thread again if you haven't, the person that said "full of shit" explained and apologized, and it's been shown why COTW is not in on the hoax, regardless of whether he knows MJ or not- by the way, I sure couldn't stand that smug smirking "I type this with a smile of knowing while you baboons grovel in your heap of loony nonsense " attitude he brought with him.. I do agree that some remarks were unnecessarily rude and trying to "run him off", but he obviously had nothing useful to add to the hoax and I intensely doubt that he knew him..

I don't need to read it again to know that if something don't suit certain members, and anyone who might have a little different view, not just this thread, then they are shit on, run out, and run over. I'm beginning to understand how and why Mike was treated the way he was because he had a different view of things, no different here, exact same thing.
Don't start with the MJ remarks- I think you do need to read it again to see that not everyone told this member to get out- everyone has different opinions here and it's up to them and them only to care about however many people disagree rudely and loudly or even tell them to get out, because there's no law here restricting what can be said. The powers that be have always been out to get MJ and purposefully twisted what he said and did in the public's eye- it is not that way here, even if some people are overly rude.

Where in my post does it say EVERYONE? And what MJ remark exactly?
The way you're you're comparing the way MJ's been treated in the past to the few posts "running" that CATW "out" without saying why they disagree. And the way you said "conform or be cast out" in your first post, you make it sound like everyone here is a drone that thinks one thing- heck, we have theories saying he's disguised as another man on national television or a woman at his own funeral, been castrated, died in the '80s and replaced with a Caucasian man, used a posse of guys with wigs and surgeries and voice-changers or whatever to be his copies- going around saying that you know him and you know he's dead without backing it up and just running away when Souza was trying to discuss it with him (and proved herself well, might I add) is a different story..

And what backing do you have that he is alive? How do you know? Difinativly? And the person took off because he was being bullied, hell, I;d want to get away too if I were him, in the meantime I think this person could have givin us some insight into who MJ really was/is,dead or alive. And I don't think its fair that a few made that dicission for the rest who wanted to get to know him better.
