This is gonna take some getting used to!!! I need to post my avie and signature!! I feel naked without MJ!!! heehee

LOLLLL :lol:  I know how you feel and it looks like you got that worked out for yourself!...I lost mine and I think it was too big for here...I am trying to get the right size AND be able to have a gif-I havent been able to get GIFs to work here yet. Sooo until then I just dont feel like a REAL LIVE MOD here without a moving MJ...hee hee

I was stumped by two things on Sunday:
-The lack of a proper tribute to MJ
-The self promotion in Janet's opening performance

Viewers were teased into believing that Janet's 8 minute opening would be a tribute toward her brother. That 8 minutes consisted of Janet promoting Janet.
MJ broke the AMA record for awards yet he was never singled out with any sort of medley or acknowledgent.

I'm still shaking my head over this. The Grammy's are aired earlier in the year so it will be interesting to see in January or February 2010 how they treat MJ and his memory.

I was never under the impression that Janet was going to do a tribute to her brother-she came out with her 33 number one hits album this same week so I figured she was doing a melody of her own hits. I thought she did great but I was really stumped as to why in the world she did not accpet his awards, instead of Jermaine,who has been the talk this week for his own thank you speech for nothingness. There also was no mention of a tribute in the previews for the show,so I did not expect one...what was interesting though,to me anyway,was there was a "presence" of MJ in everything. Microphones had glitter,every performer had glitter and it was just this surreal under the radar ode in some way...I dunno.

On tinypic.com there is an option to resize images...however as you can see I am having issues as well. I am doing the same thing I was doing on the other forum when posting gifs...and they will not take for some reason and they ALWAYS say it is exceeding a limit-when I finally get a link to work.

Interesting...I asked my brother today if he had noticed all the glitter-there was literally an amount of glitter on every single performer-even Jay-Z had a lapel pin that had glitter on it. J-Los shoes had glitter-and all the microphones had glitter on them. Maybe my eye is noticing glitter these days but did anyone esle notice. White microphones had white glitter. He said he noticed and he also noticed that almost all of the performances had at leat one of MJs moves in it...he said even Carrie Underwoods had one it was right at the end...he said even if it was only a couple of seconds there was a MJ move. He noticed all of the aforementioned in the Timbaland performance except the pics of MJ.
  Overall the whole thing was awesome I thought and it was a constant reminder that none of the performers would have been there if it were not for MJ-I don't know if the glitter and moves were a subliminal tribute without making it public or something else...but I still get the feeling he is not dead.
