I'm not surprised when they came out to say that there won't be a CD while all the songs are out anyway. H-o-a-x.

Skillet also has a song called Rebirthing.

Thankyou, @ ZTB2393.  Welcome to the site, btw.

"'Rebirthing' is a song by the Christian rock band Skillet, and it is the first single off their seventh album Comatose"..."in the end, it's just a song about second chances and I think we're living in a time now where a lot of people don't think that they deserve a second chance. You know, whether that's a second chance at life, or at a relationship, or when they think they've screwed something up too bad. And in this song it's basically saying it's never too late to start all over again, it's a message of hope and a lot of people aren't feeling very hopeful these days in our world."

I see that this bands latest album, Awake , and was released August 25, 2009

The song "Rebirthing" talks about an 'average Joe' finding God.

This is why Michael got hurt so much in his life. People didn't consider that he was a human being with thoughts and feelings. Michael Jackson was truly talented and truly charming. To me, to fans he is an angel, but not in the religious superhuman sense.

Honestly, I doubt it. Maybe it's just me.

I love Skillet (and I'm not a Christian, I just recognize great music when I hear it) and MJ both though.

Seriously, I really don't understand how he has absolutely no frown wrinkles...Face lifts wouldn't banish the amount he lacks, and botox would leave a fat look to his cheeks.

I think it's because he's wearing make-up. If you look at close ups of him, you see there are little wrinkles around his mouth.

Dangerous / Re: Who is it?

I think he meant that the emotion is genuine, not that everything he sang about had something to do with his real life. But we may argue...

"Who Is It" talks about a woman cheating on him. However, I believe the music video or the short film speaks more than the lyrics.

Whaaat? Is this true?

This is a remix. Not a full version. What are these lyrics btw?

The secret side of me, I never let you see
I keep it caged but I can't control it
So stay away from me, the beast is ugly
I feel the rage and I just can't hold it

It's scratching on the walls, in the closet, in the halls
It comes awake and I can't control it
Hiding under the bed, in my body, in my head
Why won't somebody come and save me from this, make it end?

I feel it deep within, it's just beneath the skin
I must confess that I feel like a monster
I hate what I've become, the nightmare's just begun
I must confess that I feel like a monster

I, I feel like a monster
I, I feel like a monster

My secret side I keep hid under lock and key
I keep it caged but I can't control it
'Cause if I let him out he'll tear me up, break me down
Why won't somebody come and save me from this, make it end?

I feel it deep within, it's just beneath the skin
I must confess that I feel like a monster
I hate what I've become, the nightmare's just begun
I must confess that I feel like a monster

I feel it deep within, it's just beneath the skin
I must confess that I feel like a monster
I, I feel like a monster
I, I feel like a monster

It's hiding in the dark, it's teeth are razor sharp
There's no escape for me, it wants my soul, it wants my heart
No one can hear me scream, maybe it's just a dream
Maybe it's inside of me, stop this monster

I feel it deep within, it's just beneath the skin
I must confess that I feel like a monster
I hate what I've become, the nightmare's just begun
I must confess that I feel like a monster

I feel it deep within, it's just beneath the skin
I must confess that I feel like a monster
I've gotta lose control, he something radical
I must confess that I feel like a monster

I, I feel like a monster
I, I feel like a monster
I, I feel like a monster
I, I feel like a monster

I found these lyrics earlier on and wondered the exact same thing

These are the lyrics to song "Monster" by Skillet. It's a great song!

The first picture is not Michael, but the others are. It's him in disguise. LOL @ the buckteeth.

There is no "new Michael Jackson." People are ignorant, careless, tactless...want me to continue?

What are we talking about here?

That's exactly my question.

As much as I'm curious about this matter as well, I think we should let it go. What's said and done is said and done, I don't think it's important to dig it up.

The poster is willing to admit what they've done wrong and apologize, so we can put it behind us.  :)

It was known that Michael was fascinated by illnesses and surgeries. It's also mentioned in J. Taraborelli's "Magic and the Madness."  :)

Charities / Re: Stop the Use of Child Soldiers
« on: November 28, 2010, 02:57:49 AM »
It breaks my heart. Something is very wrong in a world where children, instead of playing hide and seek and giggling, are being taught to kill. These children...they're robots.

I once read a book (I don't remember the title) with memories and quotes from soldiers. They all said that it's terribly scary to shoot a person for the first time, but then it becomes automatic and the more you shoot the easier it gets. Until they lose their minds. One of the soldiers said that he felt horrible even killing the enemies at first, but then something snapped in him and he started to randomly shoot at civilians. He said he'll never forget the look on a young woman's face while she begged for life, holding her little son in her arms. The soldier killed both of them (the mom and the kid). They become numb and shooting, as I said, becomes automatic.

The way I see it, soldiers are slaves. They think they do everything for their country (very noble), but they're just toys for government's agendas and they don't even realize it. That's just my opinion.
