Michael Jackson est apparu, tout de blanc vêtu, tel un ange descendu du ciel. Avant d’accorder un long entretien à l’animatrice, il s’est adressé à son public par un bref, « I’m back », comprenez je suis de retour. Le choc !

La rumeur avait circulé sur la Toile, preuves à l’appui, quelques semaines après son décès. La star ne serait pas morte ; elle aurait elle-même orchestré sa mort, en vue de réaliser un film. Rêve éveillé de fans déçus, avaient répondu les spécialistes, à ce moment-là. C’était pourtant sans compter sur l’imagination débordante de l’ex-défunt chanteur. Il va revenir, mais au cinéma.
