I read (can´t remember where unfortunately) that AEG filed a motion for non-suit because they think that plaintiffs have failed to prove their case. Which basically means that they think that this is getting nowhere and the trial should be stopped.
Hm... interesting. What do you guys think?
Well a non suit motion could mean that AEG is ready to make an offer or settlement in the case. Obviously not for the amount KJ & the kids are suing for, but a reasonable amount. Settlements midway through civil trials are not unusual. Even if AEG feels their case is still strong, their corporate image may be taking a beating and incurring some losses financially for contiuing with this trial. Michael Jackson is an icon (in the infamous words of Janet)...no matter what kind of mud AEG slings they will never kill his name! Burden of proof or not, AEG looks bad. :icon_twisted: They have to know they have some culpability in Michael's "death" and screwing his kids out of that income is just bad business. I'm guessing "the powers that be" are telling AEG to pull the plug on this trial. :icon_e_confused:

All I know is Randy has been purposely staying out of the spot light these last four years. :suspect:
He did not do the reality show.
He did not do the tour with the other brothers.
He's rarely (if ever) on Twitter...until recently with the AEG trial going on.
The only noteworthy incident I can recall was the altercation with Paris/Janet regarding Katherine and his public statements about the will. Other than that Randy has stayed below the radar.
During the 2005 trial, Michael thanks Randy personally for all his help during his press statement.

After looking through the deposition I can see why Randy wanted to be called to the stand.
He stated video can be manipulated and it does sound incoherent.
Another revelation is Grace's "role" in all this. So far the kids and Randy have "thrown her under the bus" as an "enabler"...yet I don't recall if she's on the short list of people being questioned.
You would think someone with that much intimate knowledge of Michael would be a "smoking gun" to testify. :icon_e_confused:

I'm all for keeping an open mind....but are we so willing to make concessions for these celebritys behavior and not hold them accountable because they are so talented? People like Chris Brown, Linsay Lohan, Amanda Bynes, etc...are others that seem to stay in trouble in the press.

Especially when there are some other teen celebrities WHO DON'T make such headlines?!
I'm all for "love"....but also accountability!

The fact that JB's even mentioned alongside Neverland is an insult to what Neverland represents.
Michael built Neverland to bring sick, underprivileged kids peace and joy. Not to "hide" some teen celebrity away from the press who is trying to get his sh*t together.

No apologies here. I stand by my statement :icon_neutral: Truth is truth whether it's pleasant to hear or not. Celebritys are who they are in part due to their fans. When they cease to respect those fans, they are no longer worthy of the stardom they enjoy. There's an old saying "fame makes you who you really are". ![]() JB lost my respect when he began to disrespect his fans. :icon_evil: JB is a troubled young man and I hope he gets help.Neverland was always Michaels vision...it should definitely remain in his families possession!

I'm thinking they want Randy's video deposition to stand "as is". No more, no less. If they put him on the stand, he might say too much that could hurt both sides (kind of how Murray is threatening). Randy has been very vocal about the fraud regarding the signing of the will. This could possibly throw both the estate and AEG "under the bus" in terms of guilt...it could look like collusion. :ghsdf: My guess is no one wants to open THAT can of worms! :animal0017: ....it will be interesting to see how much of an issue Randy will make of this. :icon_e_confused: I give it two days and TMZ will be all over it. :icon_e_wink:

+1Bec, I wonder if it's just that our (as in the forum's) time has passed. We saw the inconsistencies, did the investigating and found out long ago that MJ is alive and that he was posting here. What more is there to do here? We've spoken before about the tendency to inflate this site's importance - I reckon he's had his fun/done his job here and has simply moved on. MJDHI will become an interesting archive of our investigations, not an active site - which is kind of how I get the feeling Souza has wanted it to be for quite some time. (Please correct me if I'm wrong, Souza)

murray seems to have no trouble keeping up with his .
I remember during the trial the "cell phone" was a big issue. Like why Murray didn't call 911 from his cell (even though he was supposedly on that phone earlier that day "calling back patients") MJ's assistant saved the recorded message for help from Murray on his cell phone. The 911 call came from a cell phone. (presumed Alberto Alvarez's) TMZ's video/story on Paris and Janet getting into a squabble over a cell phone. How in the early days of the hoax, Murray was always pictured talking on his cell phone. ...I'm sure there are others. Those are just examples I can think of off the top of my head. :icon_e_confused: yep, 27 cell phones indeed....how did MJ manage to lose them all!? :icon_lol:

@Do, I think it all boils down to Front threads, historically, turning into embarrassing, ass kissing (to quote Souza's words!) 'fan' fests, much like what's going on (with some people) on Twitter. That's a real shame and shows little respect for the man, but there we are. He's obviously happy over on Twitter, so maybe it's just me seeing things from a different perspective.
I agree. Some people on twitter are being pathetic (and creepy) to get noticed by Front. And he seems to enjoy the ass kissing there. So it's good imo it will not continue here too.
+1 I think it's just become too much of a distraction. True there is a 50/50 chance it is Michael...but there is also a 50/50 chance it's not. :icon_neutral: The focus is therefore put on Front.... not the hoax... which is an issue for me. :icon_e_confused: To me, letters to the "estate" going after "fake MJ's" and subsequently Souza shutting down the thread on Front's twitter speaks volumes. My thing is...Michael trusted few people.
So I am reluctant to believe that he shared any "explosive" secrets with Murray (assuming this report of a "tell all book" is true). I remember this rumor being shopped around years ago.
As we all know, Michael told people what he wanted them to know (and believe). :ghsdf:
If Murray is coming out with some type of "revelations", I'd bet the farm it is something Michael has already arranged.
It seems as of late we are getting all these "pieces to a puzzle", but they aren't fitting together. The AEG trial, Wade, Paris suicide attempt...etc. :suspect:
I'm just not sure what to make of any of it. :icon_e_confused:

Neither am I but I'm still bored - wish something would happen to make us all sit up.
+1I guess for me this journey has been a lot like falling in love. The beginning was so exciting and intense, I couldn't wait to rush home to read and investigate the latest developments. I was always learning something new and it has helped me to see the world ( and Michael) differently. :icon_e_geek: Now, four years later, this journey has settled into this cozy, comfortable routine. Gone are the "butterflies" and the rush of excitement, but it's been replaced with a calm security, of knowing what you know to be true. I do get frustrated and impatient from time to time, but my belief hasn't changed. :icon_cool: Like anything in life, we all just have to wait and see what happens. I'm still very glad for the experience. :icon_e_smile:
