Conspiracy Theories / Re: Tuscon Shootings - HOAX?
« on: January 16, 2011, 12:55:42 PM »
It happened. I have a problem w/ #4, because I'm 1000% sure this little girl died (May she rest in peace).

Funeral took place Thursday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. I assure you this isn't a hoax. Are you implying that this little girl faked her death, and her parents are "in on it"? What would be the point in that? What would a fake shooting in Tucson prove? It's not like the target was a HUGE political figure like Nancy Pelosi or Joe Biden. And Tucson isn't really a city with political dominance.

The mugshot is interesting though.

...still don't think it's a hoax.

I think this shows even more how Murray represents Michael in this trial, whereas his "patients" could symbolize the fans.

This will be the third attempt by the Board to suspend Murray's license. The first two attempts failed.
When did that happen?
Jackson doctor fights to keep medical license
By theGrio 8:01 AM on 04/02/2010

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Michael Jackson's doctor is "hanging on by a thread" and must be allowed to continue practicing medicine in order to pay for his defense on a manslaughter charge in the pop star's death, the physician's lawyers said in court papers filed Thursday.

Responding to a bid by the California attorney general to suspend Dr. Conrad Murray's medical license pending trial, attorneys Ed Chernoff and Joseph Low said that the effect would be devastating to the doctor who already faces a slew of financial problems.

"He is, without fear of overstatement, hanging on by a thread," the attorneys wrote. "His ability to pay for his own defense depends almost entirely on his ability to continue to treat patients."

Murray, who was working as Jackson's personal physician, is charged with involuntary manslaughter in the singer's death from the anesthetic propofol and other drugs. He has pleaded not guilty.

Murray is scheduled for a court appearance Monday at which a judge may be assigned to his case and a preliminary hearing date selected.

The attorney general's office said a representative of the Medical Board of California will appear to challenge Murray's license. Murray has already been told not to use anesthetics.

Murray's lawyers said there is no need to revoke his California license since he does not practice in the state and cautioned that a suspension would have a "domino effect" leading to his inability to practice at his clinics in Nevada and Texas.

"If Dr. Murray is unable to practice medicine in Texas, and especially Nevada, he will likely be faced with the inability to adequately defend himself of the charges facing him in the Superior Court of California," his lawyers wrote. "The case with which he is charged will require intensive attorney work and fees. In light of the fact that much of his defense will be scientifically based and involves the death of an internationally famous decedent, expenses for his defense will be considerable."

The attorneys also argued that the state is unfairly trying to curtail Murray's right to a full hearing by the medical board.

They said a suspension would affect his ability to pay child support and to pay his employees and would negatively impact the patients he is treating in Nevada and Texas.

Court records show Murray had serious financial problems when he signed on in May at $150,000 per month to keep Jackson healthy through a series of comeback shows planned in London.

The cardiologist owed at least $780,000 for settlements against his business, outstanding mortgage payments on his house, delinquent student loans, child support and credit cards. He faced near foreclosure on his Las Vegas country club home.

In January, he made a payment of $1,003 on a $15,500 child support debt involving a California woman and her 11-year-old son.

In another development Thursday, Nevada state medical officials filed a formal complaint against Murray, saying he twice failed to mention delinquent child support payments on applications to renew his medical license. Miranda Sevcik, spokeswoman for Murray and his attorney Edward Chernoff says Murray's legal team received the complaint weeks ago and hopes to resolve it in a way that allows the doctor to keep his medical license.

The next month, he failed to appear at a Las Vegas court proceeding and was found in default on a $132,000 debt related to office and medical equipment and services.

The attorney general's office said Murray exercised "poor professional judgment" in Jackson's treatment and "ultimately took the life of his patient."

"Defendant's behavior shows an utter disregard for the care and well-being of the persons entrusted to his care. His conduct is unprofessional and reckless," the motion to revoke his license said. "This is conduct from which the public should be protected."

CA renews bid to suspend Jackson doctor's license
June 9, 2010 | AP
California's medical board is again asking a judge to suspend the license of the doctor charged in Michael Jackson's death.

The state attorney general's office argued in a brief filed Monday that the current prohibition against Dr. Conrad Murray using anesthetics is insufficient.

The filing states that there is nothing preventing Murray, who has pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter, from practicing medicine in California.

Murray's attorneys have opposed all efforts to suspend his license and said the doctor will not practice medicine in California.

Murray's fight to keep his medical license is likely to be the dominant issue when he appears in court on Monday.

Murray's attorney Ed Chernoff said he would respond to the new filing in writing later this week.

Clever photoshop!

Would she live in a shabby room like this?

They just moved. That explains the excess "stuff" behind her in the picture. I think it's Paris. I also think these aren't leaked photos. I'd bet my life savings that she is the one putting them online.

 This must be TMZs way of lowering stress levels. Seems like a lot of fans have got their blood pressure up over these trials. It's pretty significant, actually, since we talk about their wardrobe a lot. They got the idea from the forum, I bet  ;)

Looks like Mrs. Katherine is wearing a similiar color, different outfit.

I think it's a metaphor for something. If not, I don't know what the big deal is. I highly doubt it's cream for his vitiligo though. I don't think Michael would care if people knew about that.

I hope he does set the record straight. 'Cos right about now it's anything but straight...
Hope this isn't for profit.

I spend ten hours a day with my boss and colleagues.

Only a select few i would call friends.   Certainly none of them know me intimately well.   They dont know my secrets and desires, hopes and dreams.

They are work colleagues.  I go to work and be a professional.  This is why i have a problem with Karen.  She wasnt a friend... she was an employee.

I agree. She was an employee, nothing more. I think she's using the "make-up artist" excuse as a way to convince the fans that she was something more to him, and that he "confided in her" (which we all know is anything but true). You know some fans will turn to anyone even remotely related to MJ, even an "insider", to feel closer to him.

It's rather sickening if she's making this all up.

I recall her sharing a story about the 2005 trials when she used to wash his hair and do his makeup in the morning, and then they'd pray and sob together. If this is a lie, then she definitely loses all credibility ... if there is any left.

LOL... we know that Michael Durham is not singing the songs and we can read ... I knew he only recorded MJ's vocals but it doesn't mean that every song is sung by Michael :/ I am sure Malachi is singing lead vocals on BN, KYHU, HT, Best of joy and Monster and it isn't a mystery.

Really? Not even Best of Joy? I never got any bad vibes from that. I think it sounds like him more than most, actually.

this man is really huge and just by looking at him I can tell you he's around 1.90- 1.93 cm
That's not THAT huge. It seems huge because the Americans are all quite short.

@looking4truth: it was denied by James Brown's family recently that Murray was his doctor. I guess it's somewhere on the forum.
what? that's not true,

For me it is imred. I am Dutch and the Dutch are the tallest people in the world. 6'3" is pretty normal here. Both my brothers are that height and my grandpa is as well. I am avarage with my 5'8" and 2 of my friends (women) are between 6' and 6'1". So to me Americans are short.
not all Americans are short, there's 900 million people living in America. How in god name you Americans are short? I'm sorry, but your theory is incorrect

In a larger scale of things (the world) I would say 6"3 is pretty tall compared to a universal average. Some Americans are tall, ty the way. Not all are short. I'm 14 and 5"6 ... I don't consider myself short.

can someone tell me how we know murrys height? just wondering not picking a fight.

i'm a lover not a fighter  :D

I don't think anyone knows the exact height, but you can tell just by looking at video that he's well over 6 feet tall. I'd even dare to say 6"6. He towers over the people he's near, which is an indication that he's nowhere near Michael's height, or most average people for that matter. Hope that helps some.  ;)

I've heard this story one too many times. I highly doubt Prince is going to testify. And even if he did, which I still think is unlikely, that wouldn't mess up the hoax. If it's a fake court proceeding, with a fake judge, then what's the problem w/ Prince telling a fake story?

We'll never know what's said in the court room anyway. No cameras.

Court transcripts.

Will they release these to the public?
