Michael Jackson News / Riley Talks About Lessons He Learned From MJ
« on: December 27, 2010, 07:27:23 PM »
(26-12-2010) Producer Teddy Riley recently gave a phone interview to TODAYonline during which he spoke about the new album "Michael" but, he also talked candidly about some of the lessons he learned from the King of Pop. Riley said that for him, the album is a true representation of Jackson himself and that Jackson will forever be the man who taught him to "be strong" and stay the course.

"My biggest lesson, as far as learning from working with Michael, and knowing him and being a friend of his, is stay strong on what you feel is right, and stay hungry and stay humble," he said over the phone from London. "It will bring you a long way."

As for the criticisms that have been levelled at the album, Riley seems unfazed saying, "No, it doesn't bug me. I'm here for one purpose and one purpose only - to protect Michael and protect his legacy," he said. "And by any means necessary, I will go up against anyone. I will go up against the people who feel like they know him when they weren't there. It could be family, it doesn't matter who it is. I feel like [the album] is not for them. It's for him. And that's the bottom line.

"It's terrible having to deal with the hating and things that people say about you that you can't control," he continued. "But sometimes, it's good for you. Because you are nobody if no one is talking about you...  then you're finished. I kind of like it, though. Bad, good, ugly - it doesn't matter. I am living under the wings of the great Michael Jackson. He lives for controversy. And I'm learning to."

Riley, who first worked with Jackson on his "Dangerous" album, had already made a name for himself both as a producer and as a member of the R&B group Guy. But even so, he says he was still intimedated when he first began working with the legend.

"I was very intimidated at first, but I got through it," Riley said about working with Jackson for the first time.  "It became smooth sailing after a while. And I rolled with the punches. He taught me how to be strong and hold my own. He taught me how to work with him."

Dangerous was a huge success with hits like 'Remember The Time,' 'Jam' and 'In The Closet.' "Anything that Michael touched turned to platinum, not gold," Riley said of Jackson's work. Interestingly, echoes of Michael's work from the '80s and '90s can be heard in the Riley-produced track, 'Hollywood Tonight' from the new album.

"That was intentional. I thought it was a great idea to get that feel, you know, and make the song feel like it was the next level of Billie Jean. It's a different climate, different story, but you still have the taste and the touch of Michael. That being said, it just takes his story further."

Riley said the good thing about working with Jackson is that he always knew exactly what he wanted. "When it came to working. I just kind of went into 'Michael mode', in terms of putting the songs and putting everything on it. 'Michael mode' is very intense. It's no holds barred; you just reach for the sky. You do not accept nothing less than great. And you have to be strong."

"He lives for controversy." The same sentence again...like on Oprah.

Michael Jackson News / John Landis on LKL after Michael's "death"
« on: August 18, 2010, 11:51:26 AM »
I just watched the LKL inteview with John Landis (director of Thriller and Black or White) from June 30, 2009. This was the first time I saw this, and I didn't find any posts about it here. If there is, please let me know.

I saw many of Michael's friends being quite happy shortly after Michael's death, but how Landis behaved is more than strange. He laughed so much during the interview like he was watching a comedy in a movie or something. And it was only five days after Michael's "death".
Miko Brando tried to look sad though - but he laughed on one of Landis' comment too.

Landis said: by Black or White "Michael had had quite a bit more surgeries, so he looked very different" Hmm... And nothing about vitiligo.

Also interesting:
Larry King: You said that despite his gifts, Michael Jackson was a tragic figure. Explain.
Landis: blah-blah.. I have nothing but love and admiration for Mike in tems of as a person and as a truly international and great star. ... But he often was sad and he was accentric, you know. ... blah-blah
King: But why tragic?
Landis: Seriously? (still smiling!) Look what's going on right now. It's tragic. There is no reason for this person to uhh be dead.  :?:  And there is no reason for him to be broken.  :?:  There is no reason for this bizarre thing that's gonna go on now.  :?:  E-e he is a tragic guy. And I just, he was, I mean uh, hm, uhm, you can tell that I mean everyone who worked with Michael is very fond of him. He was a lovely person. But I think he was, I find him a very sad figure.

And he just couldn't stop laughing during telling how tragical Michael's life was...

Hi everyone,
I haven't share the following strange experience of mine here yet, as I don't know what to think of it. But maybe some of you can figure out why or how it happened.

A few months ago, when I made my video about Dave Dave different looks, and I wanted to capture photos from his weird MySpace video, a pyramid with an all-seeing eye appeared in it. I never saw this pyramid before or after, although I watched the very same video. As I was just capturing photos, I was quick enough to stop the video (even though I was quite surprised) and capture the pyramid I saw. I made a video about it, telling my thoughts about the oddness of the pyramid (it had the iStockphoto logo on it) and one of the picture DD made, etc.

Here is the link:

I don't know how to upload a video here... so feel free to do it if some of you are interested in the topic I wrote about. Thanks!
It doesn't work in some countries, because I used one of Michael's songs, but I just read somewhere that Souza or Mo wrote that there is a site where these videos can be watched...

IMO if Michael is alive - and I believe he is - then his children are with him. Not with Katherine in the Encino house.
Does someone live near there and could check whether the children REALLY live in Encino? I mean all the time.
Maybe they go there sometimes for the riporters be able to take photos of them - but as I know, most of the photos were taken of them everywhere else but in Encino. Have you ever seen a photo where they are coming out from the house? Probably there are some, but I haven't seen any... Anyway, some photos are not proof. It would be good to KNOW whether they LIVE THERE or it is just said.
I really don't want to bother their privacy but if they don't live with Katherine, that very probably means that they are with Michael, and that he is alive and well.

Dave Dave / Comparison photos between DD on LKL and Michael
« on: July 02, 2010, 09:09:40 AM »
Hi everyone,

I made some comparison photos between Michael and Dave Dave on LKL for those who still doubt it was Michael. Of course, my comparisons may not convince some people either - I only would like to share it with you, as for me, believing that it was Michael, helps the most to believe that he is alive. I thought it can help you too if you start to feel he is gone.
