The list catches my eye because many of these celebrities have had their own share of bad press and some to the extreme. Coincidence? Regarding the topic of spanking, it really varies from one situation to another as to when and how this form of discipline should be administered.
I once witnessed a child of about 8 or 9 years old cursing loudly at his mother because she wouldn't buy him the toy that he wanted. That incident required more than a "time out". I would have spanked him and he would not have pulled that stunt again for fear of the consequences. The spanking would have quickly reminded him of who is the adult and who is the child. We are not peers or playmates. Too many parents try to negotiate and reason with their children in order to get the children to behave. There is no room for discussion when it comes to who is in charge and who has the final word. No... means... no. It does not mean throw a tantrum in a public place and act like a maniac.
That little boy apparently has been allowed to misbehave and go places where no child should ever go regarding his disrespectful and foul mouthed behavior toward his mother. He did not respect the adult who is in charge of seeing to it that he is fed, clothed, housed and kept safe.
Among my peers, I know more people who received spankings than those who did not. The ones who did get spankings also got an education, stayed away from substance abuse, landed decent jobs and are currently raising their own families. Many... if not ...most ...who received no spankings for poor behavior felt entitled so they broke many of the rules of society and ended up in a lot of trouble.

This makes no sense. The children of celebrities and other high profile people do not have to attend school with body guards. Secret Service agents accompany the President's kids but that is a different category altogether. No body guards are required for a celebrity's kid since their schools are often highly secured and off limits to the general public. Does anyone really believe that a kidnapper can just enter the school where some billionaire big shot Hollywood exec's kid attends? Not likely. What would be the purpose of having body guards when these schools are not easily accessible to regular everyday people. Pffft...these places probably have the lunchtime kitchen staff sign all sorts of confidentiality agreements and pass major background checks. I'm not onboard with this story.

Amen sister... You are not alone (cheesy MJ reference :lol: ). Many of us have also laughed and cried during this journey. Sometimes it has happened at the same time. If you need to, take a break and step back from it all. The rollercoaster may need to be traded in for a much calmer ride such as the ferris wheel or merry go round. I still think many fail to realise that, even his fans. I am posting this because there is a lot I need to get off my chest.
This hoax has been an emotional rollercoaster for me. I have laughed, I have been confused (and still are most of the time), I have had dozens of brain reboots, I have cried my eyes out, I have finally met the true me, I have learned what I expect from myself and this short visit on earth and I believe I am a close witness to "What Will Go Down In History As The Greatest Demonstration For Freedom...". That is why this is important to me, because if I would have thought that he only hoaxed his death because he wanted to outdo Thriller, I would have walked away months ago, although I do like this aspect of the story as well. But lately what I feel most is sadness and even disgust.
This hoax is turning into something that is the opposite of its original purpose. The hoax community is full of hate, back stabbing, (death)threats and blogs and forums are lately platforms to share personal information of other members, just because they think it's 'important' for the hoax. Why would that be important and don't they see the danger in that? The very person who HATED all these things is actually the one who attracted it and I am sure that hurts him more than some people can imagine.
Besides that I see too many threads about him that have subjects like:
"Oh my God, he's so hot"
"MJ sexy with glasses"
"MJ sexy with tongue"
And other titles like that. Please let me remind you that the "Videos of Michael" subforum is for videos unrelated to the hoax. Videos of tours or performances or things like that, but absolutely not to dissect the man or to share your fantasies. Same goes for the "Pictures of Michael" subforum. There is no subforum "Fanfiction" so please refrain from posting it in the future. This is an investigation site and not a fan forum. Do you think he would enjoy reading that? Is that all he is about? The outside?
One of the This Is It posters said: "Discover the man you never knew". By reading fanfiction and threads like mentioned above, you won't discover that man. You will stick with your fantasies and will keep seeing everything through your pink glasses. If that's your cup of tea then that is fine, but not on this forum.
So here I return to the quote at the beginning of this post: 'I believe what people failed to realise was that Michael was a human being.'
People did and still are. He's made of flesh and blood, like all of us. Besides all the angelic features, I am certain he has his other side too. We are all not our best 24/7. I am sure he can be cranky, angry, unreasonable and a pain in the butt as well. If he needs to go, he needs to go and will have to wipe his own ass. I know most of you don't like that thought, but that is one thing I can certainly say is the truth.
But most of all, he can hurt. Physically as in fans tearing him apart just to get a piece of him and mentally by all the shit that has been reported and all the false accusations against him.
Then the ridicule of some theories and thoughts. Please refrain from commenting that something is ridiculous before you have actually read up on it. I remember some of us discussed that Michael could have Asperger's Syndrome. Some reactions and I paraphrase: "Ridiculous, Michael is not an autist". That can hurt! First of all, I am certain that there might be people on here that have some sort of autism or Asperger's, who can confirm that. Read up on autism and Asperger's and then comment. If you still don't agree that is fine, but at least you can post your arguments and keep up a healthy discussion. I am familiar with Asperger's and I really think it's a possibilty he has AS. He is human, he can have disorders (although I don't really think the word disorder really fits AS) because he is human. It's not something he has control over. And I can imagine that IF he has AS, comments like the above are not really nice to read.
On a sidenote: Here is a video about Carly Fleischmann, who has severe autism (NOT Asperger's). Just this video alone will let you take a peek behind the screen about autism. It's inspirational and shows how people can be misjudged because of their outside:

Take off your pink glasses and try to think outside the box sometimes. Don't try to think or answer for him, because none of us can. Instead, try to imagine what you would do, or think. Mostly that is closer to the truth than when you try to form an opinion based on a person you have never met and idolize that much. He is a son, a brother, a father and a friend. At the end of the day, he needs to change his underwear. His dirty laundry is as dirty as ours and when he bumps his little toe I am sure he won't say "Hee Hee". He bruises when you pinch him hard enough and when you cut him he bleeds...
I am not at all being disrespectful and I am not judging anyone in particular. I know you all love him and I know you all want the best for him. That would be leaving him in one piece, instead of aspire to get a piece. I am only trying to make you see that he might be Michael Jackson, he might be tough, but in the end we're all the same and this hoax should be about L.O.V.E. and not H.A.T.E. I hope we can turn that tide before it's too late. The world is fucked up enough already and we have more important things to be passionate about. Save your energy for later.

Silly me. I opened the vid as I sat alone in a dark basement. The only light that I had was coming from my laptop. Plus, I turned up the volume expecting to actually hear MJs speaking voice. That was a good scare and a funny one too. :lol:

I have thought for many years that MJ "acquired" the kids and that he is not their biological father. However it's not important how they became his kids. Ask any kid who was raised by a loving step parent or adoptive parent. What is important is that MJ seems to be a great parent. Thankfully, they will have fonder memories of their father and their childhood than the memories that MJ has of his own.

I may be in the minority but I know a lot of people who share the sentiments of this guy. I have witnessed many conversations similar to what is said in this guy’s videos. I know a lot of people in my age bracket (49) who were once MJ fans and they turned away from MJ when it was perceived that MJ “left home” and never looked back . On June 25th, a lot of people acknowledged that they mourned over and cried for MJ pre-Thriller since they could no longer relate to MJ after that period.

There is so much emphasis on MJs return because many, not all , but many fans could care less about any messages. They simply want the man to return. The sooner the better. Food for thought for those following the hoax. I'll keep this short and sweet so everyone can continue on their day/night.

Now my question is why is everyone so hooked on when the date of MJ's return will be. Wouldn't the element of surprise work better. Shouldn't we all focus on the messages he left for us. Shouldn't we all become more aware. More involved. I'm not going to go into theories but i think time is running out for us to do something. So instead of constantly wondering when he will return IF he decides to why don't we simply focus on the current task at hand.
Also on a different note. shouldn't we all get along even if you disagree. what if Michael was to see you guys argue

The only thing that will be revealed on the 7th, when the 7th comes and goes, is that the original poster wont reply or log back in after absolutely nothing hoax related happens on the 7th.

I watched a few tributes on tv and listened to radio tributes this past weekend.
There was a lot of focus on the tragedy of his "death". They kept emphasizing how a talented man was driven so hard to do some self-destructive things to himself. In their own twisted way, media was almost sympathetic to him. That's easy when people believe that someone has died a tragic death. If MJ is revealed then the media may not be quite so sympathetic. I have said it many times before but the media seeks out scandals and reports the bad news very easily. They have little or no interest in good news. Good news is essentially bad for the news business while bad news draws ratings and advertising revenues. In a nutshell, the media would attack MJ in a viscious manner that has never seen before if he is revealed. He wasn't seen as a hero in their eyes before June 25th so it is doubtful that he will be seen as a hero by them afterward.
Fans will have mixed feelings. Some will be overjoyed upon his return while others will take his disappearance personally as if he abandoned them. Some fans will be pleased that he has returned but angry that he didn't do it sooner according to their BAM dates. Some fans will remain and some others will desert him. He's damned if he does return and damned if he stays away. I don't see much middle ground.
