I would probably tell him how sorry I was that I wasn't 'there' for him (as a fan) when he was going through the child molestation trials and that I didn't do anything to quash the nasty, resentful rumours about him.

Then I would ask him if I could be his friend.

Michael Jackson's brothers reveal ways they discovered he was dead

Michael Jackson's brothers have revealed how they heard about the singer's death last June.  Jermaine, Tito, Jackie and Marlon said they all knew Michael was dead before their parents got in touch.

Jackie revealed yesterday that he was shopping when someone walking past said: "Michael Jackson died."

He said: "I walked outside and I got a phone call from my mum - she told me that it was true."

Meanwhile Jermaine told a TV talk show: "I found out from CNN."

And Marlon said: "I got a phone call from a friend who said, 'Is your brother all right?' I said, 'What are you talking about?' "As I was calling my brothers, calling my mum, my daughter downstairs said, 'Dad, Uncle Michael is dead.' It was unbelievable."

The brothers recalled the emotional moment as they announced a Jackson 5 tour next year.

I wonder, does any of this tie in with what they have said previously.  Also I am confused about this bit - Jermaine told a TV talk show: "I found out from CNN."

But Jermaine made the announcement at the hospital soon after MJ 'died'.  I just don't get it.  :?

Michael Jackson News / I Just Found This....
« on: December 10, 2009, 01:21:55 PM »
.....and as I read it I thought to myself "woah!".

Has anybody else seen this before or heard of these words from Ian Halperin?  This was from 6th March 2009 just soon after the O2 announcement.  Ian Halperin was on a UK breakfast TV show (GMTV) and the following is an extract from his appearance.  I have underlined the parts that jumped out at me.

Michael Jackson's unofficial biographer talks to GMTV

Michael Jackson’s unofficial biographer, Ian Halperin, called the singer a “compulsive liar” this morning – and warned the UK he might not show up for his comeback gigs in London.

Speaking to GMTV’s Emma Crosby, Ian said: “First of all I want to warn your viewers Emma that I spent five years working on this book – employed six full-time researchers, and I want to warn the people of the UK - don’t be fooled. You’re all buying into it right now, but people in Michael’s camp, family members have told me he’s a compulsive liar, perhaps a pathological liar. And I’m just warning you all, all the hype has began, tickets could sell as much as £15,000 for the first few row seats. But will he show up, who knows? He is not in the greatest physical health even though he passed medical exams that say he can perform. It doesn’t mean he’s 100 per cent fit. He definitely has medical ailments, and I’m just putting you all on warning – this hasn’t played out yet to its fullest. And I’m still going to keep a close eye and an attentive look because I’m not convinced it’s going to go down as everyone watching this show thinks today.”

Ian warned that Jackson’s health might rule him out of the O2 gigs, despite him looking in good spirits recently:

“First of all, people on medication – they get shots of energy. Michael has been in a Beverly Hills private clinic getting special injections the past few weeks. And he’s in deep financial straits. He’s over $100 million in debt and they need to prop him up so he can perform and pay off his creditors. He has creditors chasing him right now that could fill the O2 Arena for a concert. He needs to make dough quickly and he couldn’t pull this off in America and Vegas - there would be people demonstrating outside. And he’s going to pull it off in London because the people in the UK have been sympathetic to him during his child molestation trial, which he was acquitted of.”

Ian went on to claim Jackson has lied to the public before, and his UK return could be the flop of the year:

“It could be the flop of year because let’s not forget his ‘We Are The World’ performance a couple of years back in the UK.

“The fact is Michael Jackson has lied to the public repeatedly over the years, I prove that in my book… Arguably he’s one of the greatest performers ever, but he hasn’t performed in years and the jury’s still out. If he gets up on stage and gives a stellar performance, I’ll be the first guy clapping on my feet. But we’ve been through this drill before with Michael – he’s duped the press, he’s duped the public, and all I’m saying is beware because it’s yet to play out to its fullest. I hope it goes off, I have nothing against Michael.”

What do you guys think about this?

Michael Jackson News / Jacksons Stay Quiet About Tiger Woods Rumours

It may seem as though the whole world is talking about Tiger Woods, but the Hollywood press pack has found three people who will not comment.

Michael Jackson's brothers Tito, Marlon and Jackie Jackson refused to answer questions on the matter after being ambushed by reporters outside a studio in LA.  The brothers were filmed in an alley, leaving "Jimmy Kimmel Live" after their appearance on the late night talk show.

They signed autographs for fans waiting outside and were each asked if they thought Tiger's wife, Elin Nordegren, should divorce him.  All of the brothers, who have no connection with the pro-golfer, said they had no comment.

And just why WOULD they want to comment on this???    :?:

Other Odd Things / Re: Disturbing Picture of Michael
« on: December 08, 2009, 03:23:26 PM »
I really don't know what to make of all of this.  Yes I agree that Michael looks extremely thin on those pics and it is breaking my heart to see that BUT I don't recall seeing him being so thin in TII.

This is what is bugging me about it.  Those pics were allegedly taken a week before 25th June yet some of the rehearsal footage was alleged to have been filmed just a couple of days before 25th June.  Michael did not look anywhere near as thin as that in TII.  In TII he looked full of energy and enthusiasm - if he was truly that thin in TII I would have noticed.

So that begs the question, was the rehearsal footage in TII as recent as it is claimed?

WTF is going on???  I wish I knew the real deal with this.  My head is getting so f'd up with this.  Seriously, someone needs to start answering some questions - and SOON!!

Quote from: "IBelieveInMiracles"
Michael, I apologise for the length of this, but I just need to get this out.

The night I heard you died will haunt me forever. It was just an ordianry night. Well, maybe not so ordinary. You know a boy in my younger sisters class died that day too. He was only 10. :(  So I was already upset. I'm going to be brutally honest here, but I was never a fan of yours.I grew up in a time when people were mocking you and saying all things about you. I suppose I joined in so as not to be left out. Yes Michael, that's how pathetic I was. Making fun of you. Laughing when anyone said you were innocent. I am so sorry. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me. I basically believed every word the stupid media said about you. Swallowed it whole. I feel so disgusted with myself. So back to The Night as I call it. It was late, around half 10. The international news had just come on and guess what was up first? Michael Jackson has been rushed to hospital. It is reported that the star wasn't breathing. I watched in shock. I won't even type the words I said. That's how disgusted I am with myself. I went to bed that night, not thinking or worrying about anything. I didn't watch anything about you after that as it was irrelevant to me.

But then on Friday, it was all over the news that they were preapring for your memorial. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Michael Jackson, the greatest showman on Earth, was dead. That's when I found out the doctor had gone missing. I was still convinced you were dead, so I put it down to that he was scared. I don't know what the turning point was for me, but suddenly I missed you. Missed you more than anything. My heart was breaking up into little tiny pieces. The pain I felt was indescribable. I started Googiling you that weekend. Watching interview after interview. Then I was thinking, how could they do that to such a kind man? I couldn't believe I used to be one of them. Suddenly I loved you so much I couldn't even put it into words. My family couldn't understand how I had gone from not liking you to suddenly loving you. My family aren't your biggest fans Michael but they were saddened by your death.  I had just finished school for the summer. All the exams over. I was looking forward to relaxing. But for some reason I couldn't stop crying. Crying for someone I hadn't even known. I'd sob quielty to myself at night. Praying no one would hear me.

But then in mid-July I was on the internet, Googiling you again, when I just got the urge to type in Michael Jackson Alive. The pages that came up was unbelievable. That's how I found MJHD. That's how I found all theses wonderful people who have completely changed my life. And that's how I found you Michael. The real you. The kind, gentle, genuine, down-to-earth angel that you are. I've also learnt to not believe everything the media throws at me and that it's ok to be skeptical sometimes. So thank you Michael. Thank you for opening my eyes to the world, just thank you for being you. And if you are reading this one solid sign is all I ask. The past 5 months have been the most emotional, draining, exhausting, exciting months of my life and I've learnt alot, but please just give us a solid sign.
All my love and prayers
         x

You took the words right out of my mouth.  This is EXACTLY what happened to me.  I carry around so much guilt because I wasn't there to support Michael when he needed it.  I don't think I will ever forgive myself for that but I hope that Michael can forgive me.

All of him!  I can't pinpoint just one single thing.

The way he looks, the way he talks, the way he moves - and it's not just the physical things.  He is as beautiful inside as he is outside. 100%.

Nobody will ever match Michael.  The mould was broken when God created him IMHO.

And don't forget that Janet is making an appearance on the results show tomorrow night so they have to 'tow the line' although I really wouldn't have expected ITV to have done any different.

As I said earlier, it would have stood out like a sore thumb if they HADN'T put those dates up.  It's no biggy.

I saw this and it didn't worry me at all.

Remember, the majority of people believe that MJ is no longer with us.  It would have looked more odd if they hadn't put that.

Keep the faith.   :)  :)

The 911 call / Let's Go Back To The 911 Call
« on: November 30, 2009, 12:30:30 PM »
Here is an interesting comparison.

Remember the questions about the 911 call dispatcher hanging up before the paramedics arrived at Carolwood Drive??  I think we all came to the unanimous conclusion that it is NOT the norm for the dispatcher to hang up before the paramedics arrive so take a look at this part of the 911 call from 25th June:

DISPATCH: We're on our way, we're on our way. I'm just passing these questions on to paramedics who are on their way there.
CALLER: Thank you, sir. He's pumping, he's pumping his chest, but he's not responding to anything, sir. Please.
DISPATCH: OK, we're on our way. We're less than a mile away. We'll be there shortly.
CALLER: Thank you, sir. Thank you.
DISPATCH: OK, sir. Call us back if you need anything else.
CALLER: Yes, sir.

Compare it to this part of the 911 call made following Tiger Woods car crash outside his own home:

Caller: We're just trying get the police here right now. We don't know what happened. We're figuring that out right now. I'm on the phone with the police right now.
Dispatcher 2: Your phone's breaking up. Can you hear me though, sir?
Caller: Yes.
Dispatcher 2: While we have paramedics on the way, I'm just gonna stay on the phone with you. If you find out further just let me know. I'm going to stay on the phone, OK?
Caller: Hello.
Dispatcher 2: I'm here.
Caller: Yes.
Dispatcher 2: OK. We got paramedics on the way, but I'm going to stay on the phone in case you find out further.

Notice the difference?  Now I appreciate that one call was in LA and the other in Florida but I am certain that the procedure is the same regardless of which State you're in.

Just further proof that the 911 call on 25th June is a load of hocum!!  ;)

Hi all,

finally made it over here to the new forum.

Good work Souza.  I know it's not easy maintaining a forum especially with so many members and a database busting at the seems.

I'm sure we'll all be OK now but I'm glad that the other forum is still available as read only and that none of our precious threads will be lost.
