Michael Jackson News / This Is Not It - People Baying For Kenny's Blood!!!!
« on: February 07, 2010, 06:14:46 AM »
You may remember I said the other day that Karen Faye accepted my friend request on Facebook.

I was lurking around in there last night and on Twitter and some of the stuff I read was awful.  Someone Tweeted Kenny saying that they hope he coughs to death.  This was in response to a Tweet Kenny made about him having bronchitis.  Kenny saw that Tweet and he re-tweeted it to all of his followers.  The Tweet to Kenny was from 'SoulCatharsis' AKA Samantha De Gosson.

SoulCatharsis -
@KennyOrtegaBlog hope you cough to death!
about 8 hours ago from web in reply to KennyOrtegaBlog
Retweeted by KennyOrtegaBlog and 14 others

I have also seen on KF's Facebook 2 other people saying things like "..wait until Kenny gets to my town!" and "I hope the same to Kenny, he deserves to die!!"

WTF?  These people are mental!!!!!  Michael would not want them to be saying such things, he would be mortified.  These are not fans - they are stalkers, obsessives!!

It sickens me to the pit of my stomach that people who claim to love Michael so much can act in this way.  There will be protests going on at the courthouse tomorrow and I am so worried that someone will end up getting hurt.

"Michael Jackson's brothers on how they are struggling to comprehend a life without Michael"

It became one of the most poignant and enduring images of last year.

Michael Jackson’s brothers sitting shoulder to shoulder at his star-studded memorial service, each wearing the King of Pop’s trademark single glove in tribute, grief etched on their faces.

It has been seven months since Michael’s death, but for Jackie, Tito, Jermaine and Marlon Jackson, the pain is still raw.

Last night they were among the close-knit Jackson family watching the Grammy tribute show honouring Michael. His two eldest children were expected to pick up a lifetime achievement award on their father’s behalf.

Singers Carrie Underwood and Smokey Robinson were among several stars who were performing at the Los Angeles event. A segment of a 3D video produced by Michael shortly before he died, aged 50 last June, was due to be shown.

Speaking exclusively to the Mirror in what is their first joint interview since their little brother’s shock death, the four surviving members of the Jackson  Five reveal how they are  struggling to comprehend a life without Michael.

And, as they prepare to relaunch themselves as a foursome, they admit some days are almost too agonising to bear.

“I still wake up every day and can’t believe my brother isn’t with us,” says Jermaine, 55.

Tito adds: “No matter what we’re doing – working in the studio or rehearsing dance steps – there’s an emptiness there. You feel it constantly. It’s bearing down on you.

“Emotionally it’s very difficult to sing these songs without Michael. Just to hear him on the radio today is very emotional.”

The brothers recall the day the star was found at his LA home, just a fortnight away from kicking off what promised to be a spectacular 50-date residency at London’s O2.

Through tears, 58-year-old Jackie says: “Someone told me my brother was dead.

“It was very hard for me to believe. So I called my mum and she was screaming and hollering and crying.”

Marlon lets out a heavy sigh. The world might have lost its King of Pop but the Jacksons have lost their baby brother.

Marlon, 52, says: “Michael was a major part of the Jackson Five and of course he was our brother long before we became famous. I don’t think people will ever understand the loss of Michael as a brother versus as a pop star. Losing a sibling is devastating."

The brothers, who have supported each other over their shared heartache, become visibly upset when talking about Michael.

But they speak so warmly and lovingly about him, there are plenty of smiles too.

All of them are comforted by what they describe as Michael’s presence. They feel him around them all the time.

Tito, 56, says: “Michael was a bright, shining light that’s been shining our whole lives. But we don’t feel the light is turned off.

“We just feel the light is brighter really because the legacy lives on and his spirit is very much alive. We feel him all the time and when we do our performances we’re going to have him right up there with us always.”

Jackie adds adamantly: “Michael is with us 24/7. Every time you turn around, there he is on the TV. He’s always with us.”

The brothers have gathered to discuss their new reality TV show The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty which starts next Sunday on the Bio channel and follows preparations for the group’s 40th anniversary.

Other Odd Things / So STILL No Family Visiting Michael's Grave???
« on: December 30, 2009, 01:33:29 PM »
It just stinks 'hoax' - along with many other things of course.

But the one thing that really really bothers me about this entire thing is that there are STILL no pap shots of members of the family visiting his grave.  He's been 'buried' for almost 4 months now and nobody from his family has been to visit him since his burial????  Shamone!!!!

So, was Forest Lawn a decoy all along and has he been 'fake buried' somewhere else????  Or are all of his family totally devoid of any love or affection for Michael and just don't give a flying fig??

Michael Jackson's shocking death in June left a huge gap in the music world. One of the biggest-selling and most influential artists of all time, his ground-breaking contributions to music and dance kept him in the media spotlight for four decades. This 30th anniversary concert, first aired in 2001, includes performances by Destiny's Child, Whitney Houston and Luther Vandross, as well as classic performances of his greatest hits by Jackson himself.

Michael Jackson Not for Sale
Monday 21 December
11:50pm - 12:50am
Five

One-off documentary exploring the extraordinary history of controversial pop legend Michael Jackson in light of the recent cancellation of a huge auction of his possessions. The film looks back over the financial highs and lows of the star's career - from his peak as the world's highest-earning entertainer, to the point where he almost lost it all.

I am particularly interested in the 'Last Days' documentary.  I am guessing that this is going to be pretty damned painful to watch  :(  but I want to know what these people claim happened on June 25th.

If you are in the UK, tune in or record!!!

Michael Jackson's brothers reveal ways they discovered he was dead

Michael Jackson's brothers have revealed how they heard about the singer's death last June.  Jermaine, Tito, Jackie and Marlon said they all knew Michael was dead before their parents got in touch.

Jackie revealed yesterday that he was shopping when someone walking past said: "Michael Jackson died."

He said: "I walked outside and I got a phone call from my mum - she told me that it was true."

Meanwhile Jermaine told a TV talk show: "I found out from CNN."

And Marlon said: "I got a phone call from a friend who said, 'Is your brother all right?' I said, 'What are you talking about?' "As I was calling my brothers, calling my mum, my daughter downstairs said, 'Dad, Uncle Michael is dead.' It was unbelievable."

The brothers recalled the emotional moment as they announced a Jackson 5 tour next year.

I wonder, does any of this tie in with what they have said previously.  Also I am confused about this bit - Jermaine told a TV talk show: "I found out from CNN."

But Jermaine made the announcement at the hospital soon after MJ 'died'.  I just don't get it.  :?

Michael Jackson News / I Just Found This....
« on: December 10, 2009, 01:21:55 PM »
.....and as I read it I thought to myself "woah!".

Has anybody else seen this before or heard of these words from Ian Halperin?  This was from 6th March 2009 just soon after the O2 announcement.  Ian Halperin was on a UK breakfast TV show (GMTV) and the following is an extract from his appearance.  I have underlined the parts that jumped out at me.

Michael Jackson's unofficial biographer talks to GMTV

Michael Jackson’s unofficial biographer, Ian Halperin, called the singer a “compulsive liar” this morning – and warned the UK he might not show up for his comeback gigs in London.

Speaking to GMTV’s Emma Crosby, Ian said: “First of all I want to warn your viewers Emma that I spent five years working on this book – employed six full-time researchers, and I want to warn the people of the UK - don’t be fooled. You’re all buying into it right now, but people in Michael’s camp, family members have told me he’s a compulsive liar, perhaps a pathological liar. And I’m just warning you all, all the hype has began, tickets could sell as much as £15,000 for the first few row seats. But will he show up, who knows? He is not in the greatest physical health even though he passed medical exams that say he can perform. It doesn’t mean he’s 100 per cent fit. He definitely has medical ailments, and I’m just putting you all on warning – this hasn’t played out yet to its fullest. And I’m still going to keep a close eye and an attentive look because I’m not convinced it’s going to go down as everyone watching this show thinks today.”

Ian warned that Jackson’s health might rule him out of the O2 gigs, despite him looking in good spirits recently:

“First of all, people on medication – they get shots of energy. Michael has been in a Beverly Hills private clinic getting special injections the past few weeks. And he’s in deep financial straits. He’s over $100 million in debt and they need to prop him up so he can perform and pay off his creditors. He has creditors chasing him right now that could fill the O2 Arena for a concert. He needs to make dough quickly and he couldn’t pull this off in America and Vegas - there would be people demonstrating outside. And he’s going to pull it off in London because the people in the UK have been sympathetic to him during his child molestation trial, which he was acquitted of.”

Ian went on to claim Jackson has lied to the public before, and his UK return could be the flop of the year:

“It could be the flop of year because let’s not forget his ‘We Are The World’ performance a couple of years back in the UK.

“The fact is Michael Jackson has lied to the public repeatedly over the years, I prove that in my book… Arguably he’s one of the greatest performers ever, but he hasn’t performed in years and the jury’s still out. If he gets up on stage and gives a stellar performance, I’ll be the first guy clapping on my feet. But we’ve been through this drill before with Michael – he’s duped the press, he’s duped the public, and all I’m saying is beware because it’s yet to play out to its fullest. I hope it goes off, I have nothing against Michael.”

What do you guys think about this?

Michael Jackson News / Jacksons Stay Quiet About Tiger Woods Rumours

It may seem as though the whole world is talking about Tiger Woods, but the Hollywood press pack has found three people who will not comment.

Michael Jackson's brothers Tito, Marlon and Jackie Jackson refused to answer questions on the matter after being ambushed by reporters outside a studio in LA.  The brothers were filmed in an alley, leaving "Jimmy Kimmel Live" after their appearance on the late night talk show.

They signed autographs for fans waiting outside and were each asked if they thought Tiger's wife, Elin Nordegren, should divorce him.  All of the brothers, who have no connection with the pro-golfer, said they had no comment.

And just why WOULD they want to comment on this???    :?:
