Michael Jackson News / MSN UK - 12 Light Hearted Predictions of 2011
« on: January 05, 2011, 05:57:19 AM »
Upon opening my browser today and seeing the MSN UK page I spotted some light hearted humour about predictions from the pop world for 2011.

Before even reading it I just knew that there would be something related to Michael     I know it's only light-hearted but I'm sure they could have come up with something better than this.  I wonder if they were tempted to put "Michael Jackson comes back from the 'dead'" but then had second thoughts because they realised it COULD actually be a possibility???

Hoax Pictures / Image Error Level Analyser - Could Be Useful
« on: December 29, 2010, 08:54:22 AM »
Guys,

I have come across this useful tool which analyses JPEG photos to see if there has been any significant enhancements made to it.

Take a look at this website and read the part under 'Example' to get an idea of what to look for.

You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

Now if we are unsure of whether or not a JPEG photo has been Photoshopped, we can use this to give us a better idea.  I wouldn't rely on it 100% but surely it's better than using the naked eye and judgement and besides, it's also quite fun to use.

Error level analysis is a quick and easy image forensics method, allowing one to determine if an image has been modified by programs such as Adobe Photoshop.
It works by resaving an image at a known quality, and comparing that to the original image. As a jpeg image is resaved over and over again, its image quality decreases. When we resave an image and compare it to the original, we can guess just how many times the image has been resaved. If an image has not been manipulated, all parts of the image should have been saved an equal amount of times. If parts of the image are from different source files, they may have been saved a number of different times, and thus they will stand out as a different colour in the ELA test.
It is worth noting that edges and areas red in colour are often depicted as brighter in the ELA tests. This due to the way the photos are saved by various programs. It is not proof that image was manipulated.
If you are unsure how to interpret the results, please do not claim the results of this tool as proof of anything.

Michael's Impersonators / Danny Oliver - 'MJ Timeless', Blackpool, UK
« on: August 05, 2010, 02:15:45 PM »
Guys, I just wanted to share some pics with you.  Last night me and a couple of my mates (life-long MJ fans) went to see a tribute show to Michael at The Globe Theatre, Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Blackpool, UK.

It's called 'MJ Timeless'. You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

It wasn't a huge production like West End or Broadway shows BUT it was brilliant!  Some of you in the UK may recall a girl-band from the 1990's called The Honeyz?  Well, Celena Cherry from that group was in the show along with an ace dance group called The Plague - I think they won that "Dance Like Michael Jackson" reality TV show, or they were in it.  There was also a dancer who is in the Streetdance 3D film.

Anyway, I just wanted to share some pics with you all.  Since going to watch this show last night I have been buzzing.  It's such an odd feeling - as though Michael is running through my veins!!!

They performed many of Michael's hits and the dance routines were spot on!!!  Danny is not an MJ double or look-a-like, he is an impersonator so I don't want to start a debate about whether or not he looks like Michael  ;)

By the way, some of you may recall the black jacket that Michael wore with the message to Bashir and the media on the back of it in large white letters????  Danny made that for Michael and gave it to him personally according to his Facebook page.

After the show, we got autographs and had our pictures taken with Danny and Celena!

It really was an awesome show and I want to go and see it again!

General Hoax Talk / Twitter Hacker On The Loose - Be Careful
« on: July 17, 2010, 03:06:02 PM »
Guys,

for those of you on Twitter please can I suggest that you change your passwords.  Some of my followers have had their Twitter accounts hacked and someone is sending messages from their accounts.  It seems that they are finding it very easy to hack if you use Twitter on BlackBerry in particular.

Keep an eye on your accounts just to be on the safe side.

This Is It / 'This Is It' - Media Trash The Mirror - Again!!
« on: June 19, 2010, 01:11:47 PM »
I came across this today.  It is an article reviewing This Is It which is airing on Sky Movies Premier in the UK on 25th June.

This was written by a guy called Monty Smith from.....yes, you guessed it, The Mirror.  It is in the weekly TV magazine which comes with the The Mirror every Saturday.

Read all of it (it's not long) but look in particular at the parts I have underlined in blue.

Now here is an email I have sent to We Love Telly about said article.  This makes me so very angry.  I know that the media will never change but FFS it's almost 25th June and it will be a very difficult day for ALL of us, not just those who believe that Michael has gone.  If you want to send a complaint too, then here is the email address You are not allowed to view links. I hope that you pass this email onto Mr Smith.  However, I suspect it is too much to ask that in future, he shows a little more tact and gets his facts right.  Remember, 25th June will be a very difficult day for Michael's army of fans around the world.  Please show some respect!  In the meantime we will continue to send emails such as this to any media outlet who seems to be getting their kicks out of making sick jokes in Michael's name.

Kind regards

Michael Jackson News / The Mirror - Trash Yet Again!!!
« on: June 05, 2010, 04:58:41 AM »
It looks like the UK tabloid, The Mirror, is at it again with bashing our Michael.  I feel yet another very strongly worded email is needed here.  To me, the answer to her dilemma is very simple - she tells her 4 year old son what a great humanitarian Michael is, that he was totally innocent of all molestation charges and that the only reason he is deemed to be a "complicated man" is because of all of the trash such as this that is printed about him which ignorant people believe!!!!

Have a read of this:

Our four-year-old has moved on from his most recent hero, Ben 10.

(NB: If your reaction to that statement is, “Ben 10? What’s that?” then you aren’t a parent, and really, you can skip this. Nothing happening here, folks. Return to your cocktails.)

Anyway, his new obsession is Michael Jackson. It started with Blame It On The Boogie, moved on to Beat It, Billie Jean and Thriller, and now he’s convinced he’s mastered the Moonwalk.

Now, I have no problem with any child of mine enjoying one of the greatest talents the pop world has ever seen.

I’m happy to play him Jackson’s amazing music and let him watch those fantastic videos.

But, but, but... As we all know, Jackson was a complicated man.

Our lad has already started asking questions about why Michael looks brown in one clip and white in another, and if Michael was friends with younger boys, like him. Erm. . .

In the end, I’m left with a dilemma akin to the one that comes with Father Christmas.

At what age will my son be old enough to be told the truth about Michael Jackson?

Work on a museum dedicated to Michael Jackson's legacy in his hometown could begin next year, officials have said.

It is hoped the project, expected to cost $300m (£204m), will draw 750,000 visitors a year to Gary, Indiana.

The singer's father Joe has endorsed plans. He said: "This is something that my family and Michael have always wanted. We're bringing something back."

Jackson last visited the town in 2003 to talk about the plan, but no work began before his death last year.

Gary's mayor, Rudy Clay, said the project would generate up to $150m (£102m) for the town every year.

"This project will be the magnet that will draw people from all over the world," he said.

It was announced on Wednesday that the town will donate 300 acres of land to the project, which is expected to kickstart progress towards the facility.

Money for the building work will be derived from donations and private investors, Mr Clay added.

Some residents of the town are sceptical that the project will ever get off the ground.

Seretha Harvey, 24, told the Associated Press she was "worried" that it would never be completed, adding the town has been deteriorating in recent years.

But she went on to say that she remained "optimistic" about the project coming to fruition.

I came across this article in one of our national newspapers in the UK today - The Mirror.

To say that it has angered me is an understatement and as soon as I have finished posting this I will be sending a very strongly worded email to the journo who wrote this piece.

I ask you to do the same.  Please read the article, look at the photo of MJ and then email You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login and tell him what a misinformed, ignorant moron he is!!

Yesterday, in the UK there was a massacre in the county of Cumbria where 12 people were shot at random (and killed) and another 8 remain in hospital - 3 critical and 5 serious - as well as the 12 who died, there were 25 injured in total and then the gunman took himself off to some woods and shot himself.  However, our UK media trash still insist on publishing rubbish like this and using Michael's name in a defamatory way - look at the photo with the strapline - 'Freak Jackson' and the use of 'Jacko'!

The events of yesterday were horrific and therefore perhaps this stupid article should not bother me given the scale of yesterday's tragedy.  Did The Mirror think that they would 'get away with it' and that readers wouldn't notice this story given the media attention of yesterday's events?

Guess what Mr Jeremy Armstrong - I'm coming to get you (via email)!!!!!

Since the article in The Sun has now gone global, does anybody know if there has been any official statement from the Jackson family?  I am sure that they must have heard about this story by now and would surely have something to say.

Their silence speaks volumes.

TMZ Articles / TMZ - Interesting Anagrams
« on: March 09, 2010, 03:51:21 PM »
I must have way too much time on my hands right now.

A member of staff at TMZ is called Dax Holt - rearrange the letters and you get 'Hoax Ltd'.

The name Harvey Levin contains the words 'Very Alive' and in fact, but for just 1 letter (N), it would read 'He Very Alive'.

OK.......I need help because that's just too weird.  Padded cell anyone??
