James Safechuck has said the singer started abusing him when he was 10. In 2014, he sued MJJ Productions and MJJ Ventures, and has alleged they "were created to, and did, facilitate Jackson's sexual abuse of children". But the judge dismissed the case, saying the companies didn't have a duty of care for Mr Safechuck. Jonathan Steinsapir and Howard Weitzman, representing MJJ Productions and MJJ Ventures, told the BBC: "We are pleased that the court agreed that Mr Safechuck had no grounds to pursue his lawsuit." Mr Safechuck was one of two men who accused the late pop star of abuse in last year's Leaving Neverland documentary. In his lawsuit, he said Jackson abused him hundreds of times at his homes and on tour in the late 1980s and early 90s. MJJ Productions and MJJ Ventures were set up by Jackson to run his career. But in the lawsuit it was claimed: "The thinly-veiled, covert second purpose of these businesses was to operate as a child sexual abuse operation, specifically designed to locate, attract, lure and seduce child sexual abuse victims." Mr Safechuck also featured with Jackson in a Pepsi commercial and often appeared on stage with the singer. Mr Safechuck's lawyer Vince Finaldi told BBC News: "He was an employee that was working on behalf of them as a dancer and entertainer on the stage with Michael. "Because he was a minor, and he was an employee working for them, they had a duty to protect him. That's our argument." Leaving Neverland sequel California judge Mark Young disagreed, saying the companies weren't directly responsible for causing emotional distress, and were not able to control Jackson, because he controlled the companies and everyone they employed. Corporations cannot be direct perpetrators, he said. Mr Safechuck, who is seeking unspecified damages, will appeal. Jackson vehemently denied the abuse. Mr Safechuck (a child at the time) reportedly gave a witness statement defending Jackson when allegations against the singer first emerged in 1993. Mr Finaldi is also representing Wade Robson, who appeared in Leaving Neverland too, in a separate lawsuit, which is expected to reach trial next summer. Leaving Neverland director Dan Reed is reportedly making a sequel about the pair's legal battles. Barrack, Jr., the chair of former President Trump’s inaugural committee and a prominent Southern California businessman, was arrested Tuesday on federal charges that he and two associates were part of a secretive, years-long effort to shape Trump’s foreign policy as a candidate and later, president, all to the benefit of the United Arab Emirates. Barrack, 74, and the two other men were indicted in a New York federal court and accused of acting as unregistered foreign agents of the wealthy Persian Gulf state starting about the spring of 2016. The indictment said four UAE officials “tasked” Barrack and his associates with influencing public opinion through media appearances; molding the foreign policy positions of the Trump campaign and later, the Trump administration; and developing “a back-channel line of communication” with the U.S. government that promoted Emirati interests. Barrack was also accused of obstructing justice and making several false statements in a 2019 interview with federal agents, when he denied being asked to acquire a phone dedicated to communicating with Middle Eastern officials. The indictment alleges Barrack’s work had a direct impact on Trump’s behavior, including a 2016 speech when Trump pledged work with “our Gulf allies” and a phone call the president had with an unidentified UAE leader. After a July 2016 television appearance in which Barrack repeatedly praised the UAE, he messaged another man named in the alleged conspiracy, boasting, “I nailed it ... for the home team.”
Barrack was arrested Tuesday morning at an unidentified business site in Sylmar, according to an FBI spokeswoman. During an initial appearance Tuesday afternoon at a downtown L.A. federal court, Barrack appeared remotely from a different federal courthouse, also downtown, but thick wire mesh obscured his face.
U.S. Magistrate Patricia Donahue ordered Barrack detained pending a hearing Monday, in accordance with an agreement reached by prosecutors and defense attorneys.
“Mr. Barrack has made himself voluntarily available to investigators from the outset,” said a statement issued by Barrack’s spokesperson. “He is not guilty and will be pleading not guilty.”
In announcing the high-profile prosecution, federal officials blasted Barrack and the two other defendants, Matthew Grimes, 27, of Aspen, Colo., and a UAE national, Rashid Alshahhi, 43, for participating in the alleged conspiracy to sway the decisions of the Trump campaign and administration.
“The defendants repeatedly capitalized on Barrack’s friendships and access to a candidate who was eventually elected president, high-ranking campaign and government officials, and the American media to advance the policy goals of a foreign government without disclosing their true allegiances,” acting Assistant Atty. Gen. Mark Lesko said in a statement.
He added: “The conduct alleged in the indictment is nothing short of a betrayal of those officials in the United States, including the former president.”
Grimes was arrested at a home in Santa Monica, and an attorney for him could not be reached for comment. At a court appearance Tuesday, Grimes was deemed a flight risk and detained at least until a Monday hearing.
A prosecutor said in court Tuesday that Alshahhi left the U.S. in 2018 after an interview with federal agents; he remains at large.
A spokeswoman for Trump did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Barrack relied on his status as a well-connected Middle Eastern courtier and Trumpworld insider to illegally — and covertly — further UAE’s foreign policy aims, the indictment said.
Barrack capitalized on his close ties to Trump, including influencing a speech about energy issues that was delivered on May 26, 2016, according to the indictment. Trump, then seeking the Republican nomination, pledged in the speech that the U.S. would “work with our Gulf allies.”
After the speech, the indictment said, an unnamed Emirati official emailed Barrack to say “congrats on the great job today” and that “everybody here are happy with the results.”
After Trump defeated Hillary Clinton and became president-elect, Barrack assumed the role of chair of the inaugural committee, raising more than $100 million for the fete from well-heeled supporters and corporate interests.
Barrack also traveled to the UAE with Grimes, who worked at Colony Capital, and they met with Alshahhi and other Emirati officials, according to the indictment. In a meeting there, Barrack conveyed a plan to influence U.S. foreign policy over the next 100 days, six months, year and four years, the indictment details.
Afterward, Alshahhi conveyed to Grimes that officials were “very happy here,” and Alshahhi later told an Emirati official that Barrack would “be with the Arabs.”
Soon after Trump took office, Barrack allegedly ensured that the new president connected over the phone with a UAE leader. Grimes later said that “we can take credit for phone call,” the indictment said.
Alshahhi also sent Grimes the résumé of a congressman that UAE officials hoped would be their next U.S. ambassador. The unnamed congressman’s appointment “was very important for our friends,” Alshahhi advised Grimes, according to the indictment. Alshahhi pushed the nomination of the same congressman to Barrack days later, telling him, “Your help will go long way.”
There followed correspondence and strategizing about the next ambassador, with Barrack at one point mentioning he could be named ambassador or a special envoy to the Middle East. Barrack allegedly said that his appointment “would give Abu Dhabi more power!”
“This will be great for us. And make you deliver more. Very effective operation,” Alshahhi replied to Barrack. No such position ever materialized.
Taken together, the text messages and emails show the trust that UAE officials had in Barrack and his success at navigating an administration that was freewheeling and turbulent during Trump’s first year in office.
The case against Barrack is a reminder of how deeply foreign interests penetrated Trump’s inner circle. Michael Flynn, Trump’s first national security advisor, admitted to working on Turkey’s behalf while serving on Trump’s campaign in 2016. Paul Manafort and Rick Gates, top campaign officials that same year, confessed to acting as unregistered lobbyists for Ukraine.
More recently, Rudolph W. Giuliani, Trump’s lawyer during the former president’s attempt to overturn his election defeat, has been under investigation for his own foreign entanglements. Federal investigators searched his apartment and office and seized his electronic devices in April as part of an investigation into whether he had violated the same lobbying law, known as the Foreign Agents Registration Act.
The law requires people to disclose when they’re lobbying on behalf of a foreign government, and the Justice Department stepped up its enforcement during the special counsel investigation into Russia interference in the 2016 election.

Hi everyone,
As you guys can see, I have re-installed the old forum software. I gave the other software a chance but it's just not right for this website and the hoax community so I decided to go back home.
As you can see, the forum does look a bit different because I updated the software and the theme but as you can see, all messages and users are still there. I did have to remove a few things so if you are missing something, let me know.

Hi everyone, After a decade of the good old SMF forum software I noticed the development of the software was slowing down and I had too many issues with the forum after upgrading the server to newer software applications. I have always wanted to have a forum that I could seamlessly include in the website itself, yet could import the old forum posts and users also. I believe I have finally found the right software and I have been busy the past week to get it all set up. I have imported this forum, yet I am not sure all posts are really imported so this forum will be added to the archives as a read-only for research purposes and all your old private messages. You will still be able to log in, yet I have removed the ability to post. I have deleted many of the old categories from this forum on the new forum, and added most in the 'General Hoax Investigation' category. You can always use the search function to find old posts. But I do not think we need all those categories anymore after almost 11 years, which is why I made the list a lot shorter. Your forum homepage will show the forum index by default, but you can change that to recent discussions in your profile, and you will find many other settings there. Please play around with the new forum, see if everything is clear and working for you and let me know if you miss certain things or have questions. The forum has been tested but it is possible that certain things will still need to be adjusted. I hope you like the new set-up and let me know if you have any questions! County coroner's staff improperly viewed Michael Jackson's death certificateJULY 22, 2009 | 6:07 PMLos Angeles County coroner’s officials said today that they have looked into security breaches involving the investigation of Michael Jackson’s death, including hundreds of improper views of the pop star’s death certificate and the discovery of weaknesses in two other computer systems in which more sensitive records were stored. At least a half-dozen coroner’s staff members were among those who inappropriately accessed Jackson’s death certificate, officials said today. Within two weeks of his death, the certificate had been viewed more than 300 times. In some cases, staff members appear to have printed copies before it became a public record. Earlier this month, coroner’s officials warned employees to cease, cautioning that they had previously been admonished about the security hold on the Jackson case. "There's only one person in the investigation of Mr. Jackson who needed to have a copy of the death certificate, and that was the investigator," said Craig Harvey, chief coroner investigator. Harvey called any access of the Electronic Death Registration System for personal use “not appropriate.” In a July 9 e-mail reviewed by The Times, a coroner’s captain told staff that future abuses of the system would result in disciplinary action. Staff members who had printed a copy of the death certificate were advised to destroy it. Harvey said he learned that coroner’s employees were inappropriately accessing Jackson’s death certificate after he received a tip alleging that a funeral home employee created a fake death certificate for Jackson in the computer system. Harvey did not uncover any fraudulent death certificate, but did discover the names of coroner's employees who had looked at the record even though they had no role in the Jackson investigation. He said he had not contacted any law enforcement agency about the actions, saying he believed that internal rules had been broken, not any laws. Death records in the EDRS system, which is state-supervised, can be accessed by anyone with a state-issued password, including employees at coroner’s offices, funeral homes, hospitals, and county and state registrar's offices. Users input information on death certificates that must be signed off on by doctors or coroners and made public by the state registrar. Coroner's employees are supposed to look up cases "strictly in the performance of your official coroner duties,” according to the e-mail reviewed this month. In addition to issues with the electronic access to Jackson’s death certificate, Harvey said that his office also had trouble securing two other computer systems in which they kept Jackson’s death investigation reports. Investigation reports, which are not public records, typically are accessible only to investigators and other employees with office-issued passwords. Once employees log in, they can access others’ investigations — unless the reports are locked. The investigator’s reports on Jackson's death were locked from the start, Harvey said, meaning access should have been available only to employees with the rank of captain or higher. Because of the high interest in Jackson, coroner’s officials took the added precaution of restricting access to only a few administrators. Harvey said the hard copy of the investigation was stored under lock and key. Still, after the investigation started, they discovered vulnerabilities in the computer systems that might have allowed employees unauthorized access, Harvey said. Troubled superstar Michael Jackson has reportedly left his Californian home to visit film-makers in Paris, with the hope of resurrecting his career.
The BAD singer has barely left the state of California since he was arrested on a child molestation charges in late 2003. He was found not guilty of all charges earlier this month (13JUN05).
British newspaper Daily Express reports Jackson left his Neverland Ranch over 10 days ago (19JUN05) for France, with the hope of discussing an image-repairing documentary with several directors and producers.
The paper claims Jackson has met with documentary-maker MARK STEWART - the son of racing legend SIR JACKIE STEWART.
A source says, "They bumped into each other purely by chance.
"Michael has made no secret of his plans to rebuild his career and repair his image with a documentary.
"Mark was astounded to learn that Michael was aware of his work and had seen one of the films. The impromptu meeting went very well and it is hoped that something positive will come of it."

I was going through old forum posts from MJHD, and I bumped on something I almost forgot. I asked way back in July 2009 if anyone had actually bought/received their tickets for This Is It (the tour). I can't find that actual thread (yet) but I did find a reply to that in the follow-up thread I posted, here is the reply: I bought a lot of tickets… for July and for August .
1) Tickets have been sold, I bought them with credit card and ticketmaster took the money from it. What seemed strange is that they told us to wait a lot for the tickets to be shipped, a lot of us chose to receive tickets with FEDEX which cost a lot, but they kept saying no one would have received their tickets until a week before the show.At first I thought it was usual policy to prevent scammers from reselling them.Now I think it's odd.
2) We have the possibility to choose full refund or the ” golden ticket” but only if you refuse to have the money back. I think I'm going to ask the refund, they say that it takes at least 21 days to have money back.I don't know what it takes to receive the ticket instead of money.You can choose the ticket untill the 14th of August then you can ask only for refund.I'm not sure if someone has already received the ticket but you can go to communities and ask.

Also, I found tickets for my Prince concert in 2010 when going through piles of old papers a few weeks ago, and they were digital tickets. Weren't there digital tickets a year before that? It seems so odd that those people didn't get their ordered tickets shipped until a week before the start of the tour. Another thing that I thought was odd but never thought about again in a decade, was that people could choose NOT to get a refund, and get the special ticket instead. And how did AEG know about those so early on (June 30) unless he had already told them/showed them? Now I can see how you would offer disappointed fans a souvenir, but for 50 to 75 pounds a ticket? I can have that shit printed in China for less than a quarter a piece. That really sounded unreasonable to me back then (and still). For shipping costs maybe, but honestly they should have shipped them out AND refunded just for the inconvenience, knowing how much they made from the merchandise. If we assume 60 million pounds in sales and an average of 62.50 pounds per ticket, that means that approximately 960,000 tickets were sold. If 25% of the people indeed went for the souvenir ticket, that would mean there should be around 240,000 special tickets around the world. That's about 10 sold out concerts in a slightly bigger venue than O2, a venue that would actually fit all the shit Michael wanted to put in the venue for the show. After about 7 years I wrote a new blog. It is supposed to be turned into a video, but I thought it would also be good to have this as a blog, because there is a lot of information in it and when the video is done, it might be handy to go through the blog in case you missed something. I had to be creative. Well I think I have been. The video will take a bit longer because this was over a month of research and honestly not the kind of research that makes you feel better. I do hope the information is clear and easy to follow and I hope it will spark interest of people to dig through his work and lyrics and post the connections in this thread.
