BEVERLY HILLS, California — By now, you may have heard that Cirque du Soleil has unveiled an ambitious plan to bring Michael Jackson back for a series of high-profile stage shows in Las Vegas and beyond. But what you might not know is that these plans will also take the King of Pop off the stage and into everything from nightclubs to restaurants to ... a reality show?
"There's not a lack of creativity around the table," grinned Cirque President and CEO Daniel Lamarre when we sat down with him on Tuesday (April 20). "Between [Michael Jackson estate co-executors] John McClain and John Branca and all the creative team at Cirque du Soleil, we're already bouncing a lot of new ideas around.
"This joint venture is not only for those two shows, but for all of the other initiatives that we can develop together," he added. "We are already working on the concept of nightclubs, restaurants and other experiences and other types of content that we can develop on the brand of Michael Jackson."
One of the leading concepts is a reality TV show that Lamarre hopes to launch by the end of this year. He describes it as a chance to combine television's two hottest shows, "American Idol" and "Dancing With the Stars," with the distinctive style of the King of Pop.
"John McClain came to us with the idea," he said of the yet-untitled program, which would have a national audience assisting as they built the Cirque stage shows. "We would pick the best choreographer that there is in the world to work on [our stage] show, but also use them in a reality show in order to find a new, cutting-edge choreographer that could join the team."
The reality show would also audition dancers for the MJ shows, with a certain number of the top contestants landing a Cirque gig. "That could be an exciting moment," Lamarre said of the show. "Right now there is a huge appetite for people that want to participate in this Michael Jackson tribute."
The Michael Jackson estate and Cirque du Soleil are spearheading the Michael Jackson projects with MGM Mirage, the gaming company that owns such Vegas hotels as Excalibur, Luxor, MGM Grand, Monte Carlo and more. Lamarre said that one of the MGM Mirage hotels will host the Las Vegas Michael Jackson/ Cirque show, and the venture's press release mentions that "special lifestyle projects including a nightclub" will be developed.
"We are exploring all of those opportunities right now," Lamarre offered. "We're at the early stages of those ideas. But we want to make sure that all the fans around the world that want to celebrate Michael Jackson have an opportunity to do it through the experiences we will bring to them."
But if those Michael Jackson-themed restaurants become a reality, Lamarre did make us one key promise: They won't include moonwalking waiters attempting to balance food trays.

I was looking at videos of omer back when he was younger , and i was looking at videos of the children and i was thinking How come everybody else even macualy culkin was said to be Possibly " THE FATHER" of the children but not Omer , i mean yeah he was said to be michaels son , but since that was technically ruled out to be false ( from what he says) how come he wasnt rumored to be the father one of the children ? i mean i probably wouldnt make sense to say he is michaels son and to say he is possibly the father of the children, but it just seems like something that someone would have been tossed out on to the internet and spreaded around. cuz personally Blanket and Omer kinda resemble...Im not saying that the kids are not michaels , i was just thinking if i offended anyone i sincerely apologize like i said i was just thinking!! thanks

Celeb biographer Ian Halperin, whose tell-all Unmasked: The Final Years of Michael Jackson hit the best-seller list last year, is putting the final touches on an accompanying documentary, due out this summer.
According to Variety, Halperin is now finishing an 88-minute film entitled Gone Too Soon taken from the more than 300 hours of footage he shot inside Jackson's camp. The film is slated to be unveiled at next month's MIPTV conference in Cannes, France, and is set for a theater run in Canada and France on June 25, the one-year anniversary of Jackson's death. There is no word yet on a U.S. release.
Film footage reportedly includes video and audio recordings of Jackson, as well as interviews with the singer's manager, chef, spiritual adviser, hairstylist, trainer, protective agent and attorney.

hi everybody!!!! hows it going!! i was at school ( i cant remember what day it was but it was sometime last week) i was looking it up michael on google to see whats new, and i believe i read that there was a new documentary coming out i think it is gonna be like "this is it" i dont know if i must have read that wrong or something, but i dont know..has anybody heard about this  p.s. sorry if there was already a post about this ..i havent been on in a good while im having computer trouble.. :oops:

i dont know if anyone already answered this question but i got the 2 disc dvd version i watched the extra footage today , they were playing to use ( i cant spell it correctly ) arielalist or something like that for both smooth criminal and dirty diana ( it was gonna be very very cool ) but anyway the only difference between the 2 disc version and the single verison is that the 2 disc has meet the band , meet the vocalist , meet the dancers , the gloved one ( which is showing the costumes) and the unfinished rehersals ( which personally i think that they could have put that with that on the movie disc because it which to me felt like a few minutes long

Why are all michaels items keep getting auctioned off?? i mean from clothing to furniture to his notebooks where he wrote down his record breaking songs !!, those are things that should be kept ..or given to the family or something , why are they selling everything??..im getting a little worried

its a pretty tattoo!!, i dont think it means that he's dead , i saw a few people that had mj tattoos way before he was "dead" , one of them was kinda harsh ( it was mj and maculay culkin ) :x but there were some nice ones also ....  also it dosen't say r.i.p on it !! ...i didnt get r.i.p on mine because i felt that he wasnt dead so there was no need for it!!

i think he cussed every now and then, i dont think he did it all the time , probably when he's mad ( which is rare)..lol i heard some phone conversations that someone posted on youtube where he said a few curse words on there..idk why the posted it ..or why would anyone tape his phone conversation..but i had to hear it..it was cute !!! .....and there is also a video of the trial where i think the police had hit or pushed a fan and michael got mad , and i think he said the F word

Jermaine needs to get his ass back there and take care of his own kids, and for that matter... stop living at Encino with his mama and stand on his own two feet and support his family himself instead of Michael paying for it all. :twisted: im not exactly sure how true this is but i heard that grace and rebbie got into a fight , so i think she left or something ..one of them left , but i dont know... Now i know dang well that jaafar know better then that , he could have seriously injured blanket :x ,..they all could have got seriously injured .. then i dont know what he would have done then.

.  .WOW!!i couldnt belive it when i read it on tmz!! they were playing with it and almost stunned Blanket!!! my question is HOW IN THE HELL DID HE GET THE STUNN GUN !!! im sure he dosent have a credit card !!!... i still can't believe Blanket almost got stunned!!!... i bet MJ is very upset!!
