Michael / Re: Shocking Discovery in "MICHAEL" Booklet
« on: December 22, 2010, 05:12:16 PM »
I did notice something in the booklet that was wrong though.  It's the lyrics to Hollywood Tonight.  Second verse..."She's giving hot tricks to men just to get in, she was taught that that's not clean, she's only fifteen"
In the song it isn't "she's only fifteen", it's "she's headin for the big time that means".
I don't really understand what happened there.

I personally think that the whole album is all Michael Jackson, the main vocals anyway.  And of course many of the background vocals too.  But I was just wondering.  Do all of the people on here that think the album is not 100% Michael believe then that Michael is dead?  It doesn't make sense to me.It's an MJ death hoax forum and yet it seems that people are on here now to doubt that his death was a hoax.  I don't understand it.  The album IS him.  I honestly think it's pretty easy to tell.  The critic reviews of the album are horrible because they simply don't like him or they want to hear Billie Jean 2 or Thriller 2.  It's not fair to think that way.  The album is a masterpiece.  I find myself liking it even more than any of his others which kind of blows my mind.

I read an article saying that the new album Michael lacked power and was watered down. So this morning I was a little nervous about what I was going to hear when I popped the album into my cd player. After 5 songs I realized something. That dumbass article was wrong. Wow, after the first 5 songs I went back and played them over again because they were so good. For all of the people saying it isn't Michael on 3 of the tracks, you are wrong. Seriously. It is completely him. Maybe I can tell more because I didn't listen to him much growing up like I do now. I had the opportunity of listening to all of his albums almost all at the same time. After his "death" I bought his stuff and realized what I had been missing for years. I noticed all of the differences in his voice from Off The Wall to Invincible and maybe it was easier for me to tell these differences because I had not been raised on years of Thriller and Bad. I think people who listened to all of his 80s and 90s music are a little biased because they want to hear Billie Jean and Beat It, but instead Michael is introducing his new up to date style and I really think people are afraid to admit that his music is changing.
After hearing all of the songs I can say with 100% certainty that Michael is the only Michael singing on this album along with other backups and such. Also, this album proves to me that he is alive. Look at (I Like) The Way You Love Me on Michael. They play an original part of his demo to make it sound like the song is unfinished and then pow out of nowhere you hear Michael singing the lyrics and it doesn't sound anything like a demo. It sounds like he had just got done recording this song that's how fresh it sounds. I couldn't believe it. None of these songs are "unfinished" or anything. All of the music in every song is finished and incredibly well done. This album is a masterpiece. anybody with ears can notice that. Don't let the media persuade you. They are playing with us. He will be coming out with another album, I can assure you. Michael lives out of the spotlight now, while remaining in his own personal hidden spotlight while we enjoy his new songs like this. It's a perfect strategy. He knows exactly what he is doing.

I meant to comment on your post! Thank you! I agree!!
100% Michael. He does know exactly what he's doing!!
We LOVE you Michael!

I'm glad you agree!  Most people just argue about this now, but it's really nice to see that somebody feels the same way.  That made my day.  Thank you!

This is NOT against or fussing at anyone who says Monster is not Michael but I swear I've been listening to Michael since I was a little kid in the 70s. To me Monster never has sounded like anyone but the real deal, Michael Jackson. It's a soaring fabulous vocal and the entire song just blows me away.
To me Best of Joy is the horror of the album lol. It's totally Michael too but his voice is altered to a chipmonkish state.

I completely agree. Monster is him. I still like Best of Joy, but I consider it just below a five on a one to five scale.

I don't see how Monster can't be Michael.  Along with the other songs.  In the parts toward the end where he sounds furious about being stalked and haunted he just sounds like nobody else can.  Like the MJ we know with all of the emotion we are used to.  Some parts of the song sound like he isn't singing all out, but maybe that was the point.  It sounds good, so I'd say the idea was to sing it how it is.  He's also older now.  Singing like he used to might be a little bit difficult now.  I'm not totally sure on that; just a thought.

@Mikestanek - "The way You Love Me" is an old track - it was released in 2005 (?)

Great to hear there are people who sill discover Michael.  ;)

I'd like to invite you all to my thread with a discussion on the differences in Michael's voice on the 3 tracks that were recorded at the house of the Cascio Family. I made some points there, I'd like you to "do your homework", listen to the tracks, pay attention to all the elements I ennumerated, and then come back to that thread and share your points. I'll be very grateful for that!  :)
Maybe we'll come together to a certain conclusion.
Here is the thread.

Yep I know "The Way You Like Me Is" older, but I'm saying the new version of it sounds much different vocally and of course instrumentally.  It doesn't sound like the one that was released in 2005.  The vocals seem much newer, as if it were actually recorded again for this album.  I love the new version of it.  The whole album is great.

Didn't prove anything actually.  I saw some comments about why the album is called Michael and not named after one of the songs instead like his albums usually are.  My theory is because they created the controversy on purpose and I think we are supposed to take the album title as saying "yes, this is really Michael".  I'm sorry, I respect attempts to try to persuade people that it isn't MJ on those 3 songs, but it is him.  You're basing your facts off of what the media is saying, like when the songs were recorded and such, and that just isn't reliable.  Show me Jason Malachi, whose name bears a striking resemblance to Jackson Michael, in person and I might be willing to listen to these opinions.  Otherwise nothing on youtube can persuade me.  Keep in mind Mike is over 50 now, his voice is good but age does change things.  Also, his voice sounds like this is This Is It as well at times.  I think it is unfair to say it isn't him.  Exactly what I would expect from the media and of others though pertaining to Michael Jackson.  Always have to spread these rumors to ruin things.

Other Odd Things / Re: HOLD MY HAND THE OTHER VERSION
« on: December 12, 2010, 10:35:48 AM »
My Droid phone has a free music downloader so I downloaded it on there one day.  As soon as the new Hold My Hand was released I downloaded it and deleted the old one because it wasn't anywhere as good as this one.  So I don't have it anymore.  I'm sure you could search google and find it.  That's what I usually do

Michael Jackson News / Re: NEW LIVE video of JASON MALACHI!!!

Haha yeah this video for sure proves he can't sing quite as well as MJ, or sound like MJ for that matter.  He does sing well though.  Stupid song if I do say so myself.

I have listened to Breaking News a billion times.  It's not this Jason Malachi guy that I keep hearing about.  It's Michael.  Quit believing the media's lies and think for yourself.  Just because it sounds slightly different doesn't mean it's a different person.  You have to listen to more than just the voice itself.  I refuse to listen to the album online, I don't believe in that.  I'll buy it Tuesday and see for sure, but I think the people who are saying it isn't him are ridiculous.

General Hoax Talk / What do you think of HMH video
« on: December 08, 2010, 11:13:08 PM »
I just saw it here in PA.  I thought the video was amazing and very gripping.  Full of power.  I was hoping to see a clue somewhere but I'm not too good at finding them.  It seems that the people on here are way better detectives than me.  Did anybody notice anything?  What about the last shot of whoever's foot stepping on the Hollywood star?  I wonder if that has anything to do with anything...

Michael Jackson News / Re: A heartbreaking story :( :( :(

So this sounds like One More Chance was fully filmed though.  They had all the shots that they actually needed, but they were just going to have an extra day of filming just in case?  That's what it sounds like.  So when Sony was saying that the video was unfinished were they lying?  It looked pretty finished to me.  Awkward at the end, but looked good overall.

General Hoax Talk / The meaning of 777
« on: December 06, 2010, 03:55:45 PM »
I read that the meaning of 777 is that the numbers together represent that a person accepts God in their life.  So what does 777 actually have to do with the hoax.  I know it was added to his shirt in This Is It, but that could have been just because he accepts God and wanted to show it.  Any thoughts or opinions?  I may have lost where it came into play awhile back when this whole thing started.
