Motown has/or had the rights to use "The Jackson Five" AND "The Jackson 5" so when they left Motown they had to change to "The Jacksons". The only way I can imagine them getting around it is, as mentioned earlier, they use the "Jack5ons" spelling or, also mentioned, the contract ran out.  :)

Random MJ Talk / Re: What's your favorite song of MJ??
« on: May 19, 2010, 09:24:42 PM »
Ooo..I'm gonna check my play count on iTunes :)

Take into count this is just the song played ALL THE WAY THROUGH, like until th every last second, or it doesn't count as a play :)

Smooth Criminal - 18
Black or White - 17
The Way You Make Me Feel - 16
Leave Me Alone - 16
Scream - 15
Man in the Mirror - 15
They Don't Care About Us - 9
Bad - 7
Remember the Time - 6
Tabloid Junkie - 4

And just an FYI I'm impatient so I always change the song before it is ALL the way over xD so I'm pretty sure this is not accurate :)

Janet Jackson / Re: Janet and MJ best dance moves......

Michael and Janet are known as the best sister and brother duo when it comes to dancing.  These are two of their best dance performances to me:

Janet tore it up in this video, back flip off a chair what?  Just her dancing all by herself classic.

Here's my favorite MJ performance.  He straight ripped it.

Part of Janet's video looked like dancing from Scream. There were so many MJ moves in there the whoel time I was like,

Also, this is one of my fav MJ videos! :D

Found this too.

The tour was staged and designed by Kenny Ortega, working directly with the late Michael Jackson.

Then it goes in to set up and details including the name of the man who flew the jetpack off the stage.

Together with Michael Jackson, he created and designed the Dangerous World Tour 1992-1993 and the HIStory World Tour 1996-1997

He must have been the "Stunt Man" In Black or White. They'd have needed one for that video, that's for sure.

I'm sorry to bother, I haven't watched the vid in a while, why would he need a stunt double?  :)

yeap for blackorwhite dont understand that

maybe he wanted to check what he would look it, but vid reply is also an option - maybe it was too expensive back in the day?

Yeah, I just watched it again and don't really understand why he would need a double, I mean in the cowboys and indian scene they are on another platform thing so it's like the horses couldn't get to them anyway. And with the road scene he was perfectly safe if you look at the lanes the middle where they are is like extremely wide so unless there was an extremely bad driver than he was safe. Plus I watched the behind the scenes and it showed him doing the driving scene over and over again....so i'm not sure anymore..

Maybe the cowboys and indians scene?  The traffic scene?  Maybe he goes in first to make sure it's safe.

Yeah, I could see how that's possible :)

Oh, I'm sorry YNMJF! I missed your question    But yes, that's what I meant  :D

It's fine  :D I think I'm going to have to watch the vid again :D
