This makes me laugh and be sad at the same time.
Laugh because of what Charlotte just said at the end of her post, =)) [lol @ Run for the hills!] and sad because so many MJ fans are tricked into paying attention to this woman, whose only interest is gaining $$$ and publicity. It's not my intention to judge, but we here are trying to at least see both sides of every story, weigh in every possibility before stating something as being 100% real, whereas people who follow her are like hypnotized, they blindly believe anything she would say, and she keeps on doing that because she sees it's working and it has the effect she's been wanting to. Just because she smiles, winks all the time and says "keep Michaeling", that doesn't make her neither true nor honest...
And I couldn't agree more with what you said!
For long time I've kept wondering if she was somehow a part of the hoax, like an insider...but as the time passes, I'm more convinced it's the exact opposite...
I understand and agree with your reluctance to be judgmental since it's something that we all should refrain from. I personally don't think it's being judgmental though if one is merely stating the obvious. :icon_e_wink: If it walks like a duck, swims like a duck, quacks like a duck...then it's obviously a damn duck...LOL. Pearl is just another in an unfortunately very long line of quackery. I just keep hoping that people will tire of constantly hearing her toot her own horn...especially when very, very little of what she "shares" these days apparently comes from her own efforts.

Pearl is all about making $...nothing else IMO. The things she hypes are ridiculous and extraordinarily self-centered. She claims to be all about Michael but not too many years ago (while promoting another project of hers) ranted on in an interview about how she'd never respect or support a black man who had white wives/girlfriends. One can only assume that she made an exception because there's money to be made on ANYTHING Michael...and/or...she's nothing more that a glorified fangirl with a huge crush and trying to get his attention...lol. I do watch her vids sometimes for amusement...that's of course after muting the intro because it grates on my nerves in a huge way. They are usually good for a laugh or two at what she thinks is relevant...oh and of course how it ALWAYS ties to her personally. SMDH

I think Gavin is a lost cause. But I expect we will hear from Jordy somehow and at some point.
Well, not so sure, because Gavin's family would do anything for money (just like Michael's song! lol), and if they are offered big money to tell the truth, I think they would... :icon_lol:
Being offered "big money" for them to reveal the truth would completely taint the validity and make it worthless IMO. It would have to be from the heart and sincere and I'm not sure that anyone in that family has or understand either of those things.
I also agree with the assessment of the two boys (now young men). I think Chandler was a good kid at heart that was manipulated by an evil adult. I have to admit though that he had plenty of time to come forward and set the record straight...yet did not. Maybe he developed a fondness for the money...which is a shame...but at least he wasn't willing to get on a witness stand and lie. Maybe there's hope for him yet.
As for Gavin...I think he lost his childhood purity and fell right in line willingly with his Mama's greedy scheme and belief that they were entitled to all that Michael had. I don't think any of that bunch ever truly cared for/about Michael...just what they could get.
This reminded me again of a thought I've had for a while. I often shake my head when the media makes such a big deal of his companions being only "young" boys (not true of course, girls were welcome too) and that they were "dispatched when they got too old". If not raised well, materialism starts to creep into the picture in the teen years and I think Michael was wise to that. The inspiration he always got from the purity of young children's souls gets rather crumpled rather quickly when they start placing more importance on things rather than people.

was there a story very early on about a former body guard of michaels living in ohio now ? also where did bill bray wind up ?
I vaguely remember something about a former bodyguard connected to Cincinnati with a car or limo service. I think that was right around the same time that young guy went on that internet talk show and claimed his uncle had disappeared or something and that everybody was still getting paid by Michael. Those two things seem to be stored in the same part of my brain...LOL. Wish I could remember the details :icon_e_sad: I remember the guy because I used to live in Cincinnati so it sparked some attention.

This time hasn't really been confusing for me...it's been more heartbreaking, exasperating and even infuriating. From the moment these lies were revealed I felt like I'd been sucker punched. I'll be the first one to eat crow if I'm wrong...but hard as I've tried to see any benefit for Michael to be behind this...my gut just keeps telling me no. My gut tells me that there is BIG money behind this because Mr. LiarOfTheMoment was entirely too calm, confident and almost smug in his interview. If it's not AEG behind this then it's the ultimate (and still as yet to be absolutely determined) evil that has always tried to take Michael out or take him down. If they've become aware of his status (as one would think they almost have had to in this much time if they've paid attention at all) what better way to keep him from emerging than to make it so he'd have to face yet again the most devastating situation that he ever had to live through? The very thing that was most important and precious to him, children and his love for them, used against him again. Nothing could hurt him more than driving a knife right through his heart. He certainly has had rhinoceros skin...but if he had a rhinoceros heart he couldn't have been the loving, giving and compassionate person he's always been.

The problem is that none of the advanced technology to uncover erased files seems to be expected to be used in this case. They are apparently leaving it to the discretion of Mrs. DiLeo's attorney to determine what emails in the file copy he has are "relevant". This is how it's written in articles...
From CNN -"Regoli estimated that the digital file was about two gigabytes in size and he said he would make a log of the emails that would be pertinent to the trial. He is expected to give both the plaintiffs and the defense an update of his progress next week."
From the Guardian..."The Dileo e-mails were recovered after what the judge called “a lot of red tape and kind of cloudiness.” Red tape that included the AEG’s lawyers also representing the estate of DiLeo, who died in 2011, while also fighting against the Jacksons’ subpoena for them.
AEG’s lead lawyer, Marvin Putnam, told the judge. “Because (DiLeo’s widow) didn’t have litigation counsel, we’re representing her for the limited purposes of responding to that subpoena.”
Not long after an Ohio court ordered DiLeo’s estate to give his laptop and e-mails to the Jackson lawyers, the AEG lawyers as the representatives of the DiLeo estate, reported that they could not locate the computer or e-mails.
Jackson’s lawyers had learned that the DiLeo estate’s previous lawyer, Pennsylvania lawyer David Regoli, had kept a copy of the e-mails. The AEG lawyers had argued that Regoli had no authority to provide them to Jacksons’ lawyers for use in the case against AEG.
Regoli told the court in a phone call this week that he had advised DiLeo’s widow, Linda DiLeo, that “in my opinion, it was a conflict” for AEG’s lawyers — from the Los Angeles firm O’Melveny and Myers — to represent her in the matter.
Regoli also said, “She said that she never signed anything with O’Melveny and Myers to authorize them to represent her, and as of this moment they are not representing her anymore.”
Linda DiLeo then rehired Regoli, which allowed him to send the e-mails on to the Jacksons legal team after removing any personal items that were not relevant to the case. Regoli said, “I think I can give the court my assurances that I’ll go through the documents that I have and I’ll go through the e-mails, and anything that is related to the subpoena, I would obviously turn over.”
How do you let some 3rd party lawyer with no guarantee that he's truly unbiased sort through the emails and determine...Yep, you can have that one...Um nope, you're not getting that one? It's mind blowing how blatantly shoddy the apparent proof requirements are for this trial. We've already seen lots of "I don't recall seeing that email" testimony...this decision just leaves more room for more of that. That computer should have undergone forensic analysis by a professional 3rd party to determine a complete log of emails (including any that had been erased). How else can anyone ever say that the evidence is legit? This sounds more like a Barney Fife investigation instead if a multi-million (or billion) dollar trail. It's ludicrous!

Seems to me that should have been brought into the case. But I'm not a judge so what do I know!
Maybe they just don't have enough time to fit that in! :suspect:

I'm with you OTWOL...don't like it one bit! They claim that while they were fighting the subpoena they didn't know where the computer actually was....Yeah...Right! Who knows what was deleted in the time that elapsed and why in hell would an Ohio based attorney have a copy of the supposed complete email file if the thing was missing. Very suspect in my book. I have a hard time also with the explanation that the excuse that it was MIA was because the daughter gave it to a random friend who needed a computer. If your Father passed...wouldn't it be too sentimental to you to part with? Not to mention that there were likely things connected to Michael in it's files. Simply not believable in my book. If nothing else a chain of custody should be established or how could the evidence be used?

I've wondered this as well. I think a vendetta of sorts was always in place...but it sure seems to have ramped up a notch or two.

Love4Michael, I think your gray matter is doing just fine, and hope you’re back to painfree soon!
I liked your cautious but open approach. I agree it would be good to have all the points laid out for each side or sides of the WR source--MJ or AEG or other, sort of like TS had us laying things out.
Thank you for the kind words...hoping for painfree really soon too! I concur with laying the arguments out as well. Brainstorming, spitballing or whatever one chooses to call it often leads to clearer possibilities.
Love4Michael, I'm on the same wavelength. AEG did say that it was going to get ugly. They may be hoping that with all these false allegations against Michael, Katherine may want to back away, not wishing to tarnish Michael's name any more than it already has. I believe that they are behind these LIES, and the people who are coming out of the trenches once again. AEG is very powerful and very connected, and they are playing very, very dirty to distract people's attention away from the trial onto these allegations and to create doubt in people's minds regarding Michael's innocence. AEG is creating a diversion based on lies to take people's attention away from the trial and at the same time destroy Michael's name and credibility hoping that this would guarantee a win for them and weaken Katherine's case.
Very dirty indeed! I remember back during the CM trial that it struck me as though AEG was playing pretty fast and loose when it came to how they were creating/preparing contracts. I think it was during the female lawyers testimony discussing additions/revisions I remember thinking how the hell can they do that from a business legal standpoint. Unfortunately I can't recall the specifics at the moment (will have to re-watch testimony). Between all these emails surfacing, their sloppy contract prep, the ticketing scam, the fact that they structured things so that they could dip MULTIPLE times into Michael's cookie jar of funds all while threatening him with utter ruin if he didn't comply...I think they know it looks really bad for a victory for them. The only thing left to do in their shoes is to try and minimize the size of a monetary judgement against them. How better to do that than to re-instill the commonly held perception of Michael prior to 2009? I know I don't have to remind you what that was...we're getting daily doses of reminders now :icon_e_sad: Destroying his character in no way guarantees them a win...but it sure puts a huge negative spin on future earnings potential...which is what any award would be based on.Eager because I have been expecting this to be broached, Wade is clearly lying, acting, and specifically stated that MJ coached him in role play for these types of scenarios. Done deal for me. It's been 4 years, we've been through hell and back, I've done some serious soul searching, and I'm just going with my gut which says this is all a movie and MJ is in control.
I also expected this disgusting issue to have to be dealt with but surely not in this manner. I just don't see how an additional allegation (especially with the convenient timing) that further solidifies negative public opinion is expected to help in anyway. The people who already thought he was guilty are running around shouting....See, see, we KNEW he was guilty. I've read numerous posts from people saying Geez, I thought he was innocent, but if THIS guy is saying so it MUST be true...or...well maybe it really IS true but he took too long so too bad for you dude. None of those sentiments in any way help to repair a wrong public opinion of an innocent man. The people shouting that he's lying were already in Michael's camp to begin with. In my post last night I gave one possible scenario where it would make sense for Michael to be behind this. A new allegation pulverized by the first two "victims" disavowing publicly that there was any abuse...EVER. One other thing that I thought of though is that if by chance Michael anticipated this campaign...and Robson was "bought"...that it was all documented so it would blow up in their face and prove that there was always bloodmoney (or the want of it) behind these charges.
Regardless of the details behind the recent events I still don't think this is just all a movie. To hell and back is a very apt description for our journey. Some of the hell part was because we've had to deal with (and prove or debunk) some pretty serious, frightening possibilities and I personally think that many of those are still in play here. Do I think he's documenting everything? Absolutely...he has always done that throughout his life so it will be captured...but I don't think it's just for entertainments sake.

I've always kept an open mind about almost any possible twists and turns in our collective adventure but I have to admit that I'm a little confused at the eagerness with which some have landed in favor of these most recent allegations being part of the plan. I've been trying to run scenarios through my mind to see in what way...or with what outcome this all can Right a Wrong from the past. The only thing I've come up with that's remotely positive is that if Jordy and Gavin came forward publicly and said this guy has to be lying...because we did...Michael never touched either of us. Even IF that happened those who already condemn Michael would just say that somebody paid them off to say so. On top of that we have the whole situation with Taj yesterday. If this was part of the grand scheme I doubt he'd have felt compelled to have to make such a sensitive, personal admission in defense (which has now been splattered all over the globe).
Now, additionally, ex-employees are back flapping their gums with all the lies from back during the trial...we've seen warnings that there are possibly 2 more accusers waiting in the wings for their turn for a whack at the MJ money filled pinata if the chances look favorable. I mean WTH??? Where does it stop??? These last 2 examples I think truly are individuals taking the opportunity to personally line their pockets out of their own greed but I will admit that I do believe Wade is not pulling this on his own. Either he IS being an element of Michael's plan or there is BIG money behind him. He was entirely too comfortable/secure for my taste in his Today interview yesterday to be a lone individual going up against the beloved MJJ and all of the power brokers behind him and all that is his. The thing that I can't discount is that it would very well be in AEG's best interest to muddy the waters and tarnish the future earning potential of Michael during the trial in case it's goes to the jury and they lose. There are lots on the net that think it's entirely likely that this recent explosion of smear tactics are financed by them and I can't say I disagree with that possibility.
I am eager to hear though from those of you that think differently and can lay it out from the pro Michael's plan stance. I've been battling some dental issues the last 10 days or so and between pain and pain meds my grey matter isn't working up to par...lol.

I admire the strength and loyalty that Taj displayed today. He was speaking from his own experience and his heart and God Bless him for it. You could tell from what he wrote that he was very emotional about it and that it even may cause some real difficulties in his life for bringing all of this to light. I just hope that people don't cause him more pain by using this info in the wrong way. Some on Twitter are screaming it from the rooftops like they got a new toy in the battle for justice. I'm all for justice but I realize too that there is a human being behind those tweets who struggled with the decision to speak publicly on a very sensitive issue in defense of his Uncle. He deserves to be supported and this all should be treated with respect...not flying around the internet so crazily that it ends up the next tabloid headline. He clearly said he doesn't want publicity.
