Yeah, I don't think that it would be them either. It's very strange though. Please do keep following them & please post anything else you find. :)

WOW...this is getting interesting. This MidnightMlk person really said all of this stuff in December? Hmm...That's sooo weird, normally I'd think this person is probably just playing around & trying to hype us all up about nothing. But how would just anybody, if they were trying to pull our legs, know to say the "kids" are getting ready for the "show" before the news even broke about them attending the Grammys? I think you all are right, this person could be an "insider".   Just when a lot of people thought things had gotten quiet & were worried. All of a sudden, here we are back at strange again lol. Even the whole Elrich guy meeting w/ Michael the day before his "death" & planning this but us just now hearing about it. That's interesting too. Michael sure was a busy guy that day...

UPDATE: I just turned on Larry King because I wanted to catch any updates on Haiti & it scrolled across the bottom of the screen that the kids will be ACCEPTING MJ's award. It didn't ssay anything about performing. I think it's great that they are being allowed to accept on behalf of their dad. It's so sweet & they are the ones who should accept for him. I wonder who will speak one or all? Everyone can feel better now though they aren't being pushed into the business. Thank goodness!

In one article I saw, it said "longtime associate". His name is Ken Ehlrich & sorry he is the Co-Executive Producer of the Grammys. He's worked w/ Michael for 30 years, on Grammy performances. Here's one article someone posted, couldn't find the very first one I read w/ the specific words "longtime associate" though.

Michael Jackson will be a focal point of this year's Grammys award show, with an unprecedented posthumous tribute. The Grammys will broadcast a 3-D clip the singer made for his hit "Earth Song", a video that was to be integral to his comeback concerts in London but never happened because of his death.

Usher, Celine Dion, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, and Smokey Robinson will perform alongside the clip, which will be the first time an awards show will feature 3-D.

"Whenever we would do a show with (Jackson), the first thing he would say to me was, ' How can we do something we (have) never done before? And now we're doing something that hasn't been done before," said Ken Ehrlich, the Grammy telecast's co-executive producer, who worked with Jackson for almost 30 years.

Ehrlich produced the televised memorial to Jackson to last year. He was with the singer the night before he died----and that's when he first saw the 3-D clip of "Earth Song".

While a part of the clip was shown in the recent movie documentary, "This Is It," Ehrlich says the Grammys will show the full piece in 3-D. When he saw it with Jackson that night, Ehrlich said the singer was moved to tears.

Ehrlich decided to use the five-minute 3-D clip at the Grammys to produce a show-stopper worthy of Jackson , who provided the awards show with some of its most memorable moments, including his then-historic eight Grammys wins in 1984.

"The promise is this is going to be pretty spectacular," he said. Viewers can get free 3-D "Grammy" glasses from Target stores nationwide through Jan. 31, when the 52nd annual Grammy Awards will air live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on CBS. Ehrlich says TV viewers can see the clip without the glasses, but won't see the 3-D effect.

Jackson will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Recording Academy during the show.

"This is the one award from us that Michael never received," said Recording Academy President and CEO, Neil Portnow.

No, I'll have to look for the thing I read. It said some other guy who is one of the Exec. Producers for the Grammys, was a "longtime associate" of MJ's.

Here is the site where I found this article. I'm not sure about the site, is it a real, legitimate MJ site? I guess it could be. So idk about this info. If it's true maybe Prince Michael, Paris & Blanket will be performing at the Grammy's? Who knows, maybe Michael is the mind behind all of this. Even if he were alive, I read somewhere that one of the exec. producers was a longtime associate of his, therefore he could still be given the Lifetime Achievement Award? & let his kids be a part of the tribute? Hmmm...idk tell me what you all make of this.  :?:

Michael Jackson's kids to attend the Grammy Awards

On Sunday night's Grammy Awards, there will be a tribute to the late Michael Jackson that will include a 3D mini movie that will be set to his song "Earth Day." But will the tribute include his children - Prince Michael (12), Paris (11) and Blanket (7)? E! News has reported that show producers have been making last minute changes to incorporate the kids. Earlier today, Ryan Seacrest followed up on his Twitter account writing "just talked to the exec prod of @thegrammys...hearing MJs kids may sing. Also Mary J & Andrea Bocelli dueting for Haiti."

Whether or not Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket participate, other members of the Jackson family have confirmed their attendance.

The tribute will also include Usher, Carrie Underwood, Smokey Robinson, Jennifer Hudson and Celine Dion.

The tribute is to honor Michael Jackson posthumously with the Recording Academy's Lifetime Achievement Award.

The Randoms on the Jackson kids:

Before his death, Michael Jackson was allegedly grooming Prince Michael for a career in singing. Michael wanted Prince Michael to enjoy his childhood first.

It was reported that when Paris Jackson got her hair cut, every strand was swept up, placed into a plastic bag and given to her babysitter. This was apparently to prevent thieves from taking strands of her hair to conduct their own DNA tests.

Blanket's godfather is Al Malnik, famed attorney and businessman.

GRAMMY winners Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Smokey Robinson, Carrie Underwood, and Usher will join together, along with the voice of Michael Jackson, in a moving tribute to Jackson at the 52nd Annual GRAMMY Awards on Sunday, Jan. 31. This very special GRAMMY Moment will feature the never-before-seen 3-D mini-movie for "Earth Song" that was created by Jackson as the centerpiece of his much-anticipated This Is It tour, but was never seen by the public prior to this GRAMMY performance.

The 3-D film was created to support the performance of "Earth Song," an original composition and a No. 1 hit for Jackson. The song has a strong theme about the future of the planet, and Jackson saw it as a unique opportunity to deliver a message to millions of people who would have seen him on tour.

"It was one of the most important portions of the concert tour to Michael and when Michael saw the film for the first time at his last rehearsal, there were tears in his eyes," according to Ken Ehrlich, GRAMMY co-Executive Producer and longtime Jackson associate, who was also at the rehearsal that night.

"This very special GRAMMY Moment will feature some of our most respected GRAMMY recipients, all of whom have a great love for Michael," added Neil Portnow, President/CEO of The Recording Academy. "This segment promises to be an emotional highlight of this year's show, and is sure to join the unique list of amazing performances for which the GRAMMY Awards have become renowned."

This special segment also represents another GRAMMY technical breakthrough in that it will be the first time a major awards show broadcasts in 3-D. The GRAMMY Awards also were the first awards show to broadcast in high definition and 5.1 surround sound (2003).

So that viewers can enjoy this unique 3-D TV experience at home, CBS and Target have partnered to provide millions of free 3-D GRAMMY Glasses. From Sunday, Jan. 24 through Sunday, Jan. 31, Target stores nationwide will exclusively offer these 3-D GRAMMY Glasses so that fans have the opportunity to see the film that was very personal to Jackson. Additionally, the audience at Staples Center will share the 3-D experience, wearing the same glasses as those being worn by viewers at home.

This GRAMMY tribute to Michael Jackson joins previously announced performances by nominees Beyoncé, the Black Eyed Peas, Bon Jovi, the Dave Matthews Band, Green Day, Lady Antebellum, Lady Gaga, Maxwell, Pink, Taylor Swift, and the Zac Brown Band.

All five Album Of The Year nominees are set to perform on Music's Biggest Night: Beyoncé, the Black Eyed Peas, Lady Gaga, the Dave Matthews Band, and Taylor Swift.

I don't think he'll "come back" at the Grammy's. However, he may have been planning this & is a part of it all. & as for the kids. It isn't confirmed yet whether they will be there or not. So we'll just have to wait & see what happens. It says that producers for the Grammy's are working out how much participation the kids will have. I read somewhere, can't remember where, that one of the exec. producers of the Grammy's is a longtime associate of MJ's. So maybe, if he really is alive, he is well aware of what's going on & is behind all of this somehow? I'm not sure they'll be performing, more than likely they will accept his award or something along those lines. But if they do perform, I am sure Katherine wouldn't let them do it if she didn't support what they will be doing. & if Michael is alive, same goes for him as well.

@DancingTheDream - That is true. I completely agree, they can't live up to him & they will be compared to him. I wish that wouldn't happen, but unfortunately it will. I'm torn on this, because I think it will be very sweet if the case is that they want to honor their dad & I want them to be able to accept his award. But at the same time, there are cruel people out there who will say things about them like you said & they will be compared to their father: the GREATEST of all time.   :|

@DancingTheDream - I get what you're saying. I understand that, but them performing in a tribute doesn't necessarily mean they are trying to become performers & be huge stars like their father. It could just be that they said we want to participate in this too because someone else from the family is. & from what's been said they already liked to perform before their father "died" so I don't think they are being molded to be like that, I think they just enjoy it. Also, yeah it is very hard for children of huge stars to be in the spotlight, but sadly being watched by the public, the scrutiny & everything else happens whether or not you try to become a star yourself. Aside from Michael their uncless & aunts are pretty famous as well, they will always be known for that, regardless. It comes with being the child of a pop star & part of a famous family, not saying I think it's right, I'm just saying that's something nobody has control over. Michael is a great father to them for protecting them, but kids grow up, he wouldn't be able to do that forever. I think if the case is they wanted to do this for him, that's fine for them as long as it is done for ONLY that reason. & I hope nobody tries to force them into the music business or anything after this. I don't think Katherine will allow it & that's something she DOES have control over as their legal guardian.

& another thing. No they are not Michael but if they are performing I don't really think it's because they are TRYING to be him. They would be honoring him, their FATHER. Which would be normal for a child to want to honor their father & make him proud. & I'm not really sure anyone else would be trying to make them into mini-Michaels either. I highly doubt Katherine would allow that. They say she is being protective so I'm sure there would have to be a good reason other than trying to make them into superstar children of the King of Pop, for them to be allowed to do this. & also, who knows who else is going to take part, maybe the brothers are going to be a part of the tribute in some way or Janet or Omer or someone & the kids decided they wanted to take part too. Like I said you never know...just wait & see what happens, it might be just a small little thing they take part in & imo that would be fine. Or like I said they might just be there to accept the award after the tribute or something. They won't be walking the red carpet, so no questions/interviews or photo-ops. If they make whatever the kids are doing into a big show thing & it seems forced or put on by Joe or Jermaine or someone crazy like that, then that's different.

@hope - That's what I was thinking too & that's fine to me. Why shouldn't they be able to accept an award for their father? & I am SICK of Jermaine period! lol  :D

I get where you both are coming from. & I feel it's wrong to put the children out there in the spotlight too. But at the same time, who knows if they are "being told" to do this or if they "wanted" to participate in a tribute to the father they loved so much doing what he loved. I'm not saying that they did because I have no idea but Paris & Prince are old enough to have an opinion about such things & to be able to say I want to be a part of the tribute too! & Blanket may want to do it because they want to. You never know for sure what the deal is behind the scene. Nobody knows these kids & how they feel or what they want. So we have no place to say "that's not right" "they don't want this" they are being forced to do this" etc. etc. If them participating is something they want to do, I support them doing it. Now, if it turns out to be someone trying to put them out there in the way you both mentioned then of course it IS wrong & I am against it as well. It all does kind of make me wonder though, if he is still alive because I just don't see the kids performing in the tribute fitting into the hoax at all? Unless maybe they told him they wanted to perform? Guess we'll just have to wait & see what happens. Maybe they'll just be there to accept his award for him. That would be fine to me, then at least Jermaine won't be able to turn it into a "moment" for himself & HIS kids.  :D

Will the King of Pop's kids be singing his praises this weekend?

A source tells E! News exclusively that Grammy Awards producers have been making a last-minute effort to incorporate in some capacity Michael Jackson's children—Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket—into Sunday night's tribute to their late father.

The Grammys tribute will feature a 3-D minimovie set to Jackson's "Earth Song," which was going to be featured in his This is It tour.

"They've been working on everything from them singing to just making an appearance," the Grammys insider says of the little Jacksons' possible involvement.

When contacted for comment, a rep for the Grammy Awards telecast says she wasn't aware of the participation of the Jackson children. A family rep couldn't be reached for comment.

But a source close to the Jackson family tells E! News that as of Tuesday night, the children "might" be there. The source confirms that several members of the Jackson family, including father Joe, are scheduled to attend the Grammys.

"They might go, but Kate [Kathryn, their grandmother] is very protective of having them in front of the cameras, so I doubt they will walk the carpet," says the source.

Usher, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, Céline Dion and Smokey Robinson are among the confirmed participants in the Jackson tribute.

didn't jermaine say on twitter like last week or something when they were tweeting like crazy, that he had just seen the last episode & it looked like a movie??? maybe their visit to forest lawn was fake, i mean it's not like they violated any privacy laws or anything like that & they weren't being disrespectful to the people buried there, they didn't show anything....just saying ;)

on mine it says. "now what? the concert is canceled but jermaine and tito try to persuade jackie & marlon to reconsider after hearing new music that was written for them."
