Your magical tricks are called «heels». They can't make you shorter. That's my point. And Lenny does not wear stilettos....

In this thread I just want to provide one thought:
I wouldn´t use studio pics for comparission as low stands are very usual tools in the set.
![]() But that would mean they have made Mike look shorter next to Chris Tucker in the first pic, while on stage he is not much shorter than Chris (we can see whole bodies and legs there). I don't see the use in that.
How can the picture of MJ and Chris Tucker on stage even be considered as an accurate comparison? Yes, the entire bodies are visible which makes it very CLEAR that the postures of both men are contorted. Here it is for reference: MJ is seriously getting into the music and doing a leg kick with one knee bent and his upper body angled to the left while Chris Tucker is also seriously feeling the music and leaning backwards with both knees bent and his upper body angled to the right. This picture can NOT be used to compare heights!!

Here is the pic from the Dangerous era with slash. He is wearing his on stage outfit, I don't think he had boots on. Yet he is taller than Slash, who is 5'10.5".....
![]() Again, I'm going to point out that height cannot be accurately compared using a picture that shows two people from the waist up... We don't know what type of shoes they're wearing, whether or not their knees are bent, whether or not their weight is shifted onto one leg, whether or not they're on their tip toes, etc., etc.

I'd say it's impossible to accurately compare heights unless the body of each person in the picture is entirely shown, feet (shoes) and all. And even then, it's very difficult to assess due to angles, posture, etc.

wuuut souza,, i think u r right... mj is 1:78 ± cm, and in the photo with Lenny Kravitz he is shorter then 1:70±?
poor Lenny Kravitz, thinkin he is cool, finally he met MJ, (double) You are quibbling over an inch when its clear to see that Lenny is nearer the camera... its about angles and perceptions.
They have the same distance to the camera. MJ was coming off stage and was wearing flat shoes. On stage with slash he is:
a.) heavier b.) a lot taller the white jacket reminds me of this: [youtube:1s4f7ccd]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EKSEktPHjJc[/youtube:1s4f7ccd] notice the switch
This is called a stunt double. I think there's a difference between a stunt double and the kind of "doubles" that people are trying to prove exist in this thread.

![]() Here's a picture of Usher and Lenny Kravitz. According to IMDB, Usher is 5'8.5". Yet he looks shorter than (or the same height as) Lenny in this picture. So obviously Usher must have a double too!  haha

Oh oh, and he shrunk again.... Or is Chris Rock wearing heels as well? Don't think so. Chris is 5'11":
![]()
Mike is at least 3 to 4 inches shorter here, while we just saw he was the same height or even taller than Slash, who is 5'10.5"
That's Chris Tucker. And according to IMDB, Chris Tucker is 6'1"
