Michael Jackson News / Re: Conrad Murray attacks singer's family
« on: August 05, 2012, 07:20:38 PM »
Michael would have never left his mother in charge of his children if she had NOT been there for him.  He always said his mother was a saint.  I am calling BS on this story.  >:(

Just a thought here, but is it possible that even though there is proof that MJ was New York when the will was signed, that the executors maybe faxed or e-mailed a copy to an attorney in NY who printed it out and MJ signed it there and then the signed will was returned to the executors, therefore making the date of the signature a non issue?  I am just thinking that so many attorneys have contacts in other states that maybe it could have been done in this manner and then overnighted back to California.

I am probably just grasping at a way to justify this and make it all legit.  IDK.

if that was the explanation wouldn't their be some way for the lawyers to just come out and say that and prove it? besides did i read somewhere that these same people who are executors were the witnesses? that has to be all wrong if it is the case, doesn't it?

You are very right. I wasn't thinking fully...I was grasping for a reasonable explanation.  This whole WILL thing makes me dizzy sometimes!!! :Pulling_hair:

General Hoax Talk / Re: Who is still here ? ? ? ? ?
« on: August 05, 2012, 06:34:24 PM »
I'm still here, though unfortunately not as much as I used to be due to my work schedule, but I have recently found the time to start logging back in every day and keeping up with things again.  I can not tell you how much I missed this site when I wasn't able to get onto it for so long.

Dr. Arnold Klein / Re: Klein eviction notice
« on: August 02, 2012, 11:55:02 PM »
This article regarding his eviction is shocking to me when I look at AK's tweets and how he says he is basically a top doctor to the stars. Maybe he isn't as popular as he wants us to believe because if he was in as much demand as he claims he wouldn't be having to file bankruptcy.

Something about this isn't adding up.

MJDHI Announcements / Re: Conrad Murray Trial Video Archive is back
« on: August 01, 2012, 08:55:10 PM »
Hi Souza. I am so glad to finally be back and have missed being here but work has been so hectic I haven't had a moment to do anything other than that.  I have been going back and looking over things regarding CM's trial (which I did watch) but cannot seem to locate information on the photo of MJ on the Gurney that was shown during the prosecutions opening statements.  I hate to bother you with this, but would you happen to be able to direct me to the right thread.  Just trying to catch up and there is something about that photo that I can't shake.

Thanks so much.

BTW...even though I haven't been in the forum in quite some time, my belief that he is still among the living has never wavered.

Jackson continues, "It is clear that anyone who stands up against the Executors of the Estate - John Branca, John McClain and their attorney Howard Weitzman - is denied access to my mother."

Based on the above sentence from the article at the start of this thread, if anyone who stands up to the executors are denied access wouldn't that mean that Randy, Jermaine, Janet, and Rebbie would have been the ones unable to have contact with Katherine and not PPB and the other family members?

Maybe I have been away working for too long and have missed something. Please clarify and help me get back on track.

Thanks.

I am completely confused as to why the defense team would allow a group of reporters/cameramen into their home, office meetings, etc when at any given time they could have leaked information as to what the defense strategy was going to be. Also odd to me is why would a camera crew be in the vehicle with Murray while he was on his way to court if this was not all staged from the beginning? But even in light of this, I think the thing that I found most odd was there was no mention of a date as to when the interview with Murray was made except at the end when he was crying and said he didn't want to talk anymore, then it noted that it was 2009.  Unless his whole interview was done in 2009, I find it odd that the room in which the interview took place NEVER changed in 2 years time.  Maybe I am losing my mind but that just keeps popping into my head.

Prince / Re: Prince on Lopez Tonight
« on: April 14, 2011, 01:53:33 PM »
I went and seen Prince in concert a couple of weeks ago and let me just say that he performed for 2 solid hours and when he was finished he left the crowd wanting more. It was amazing.

Growing up I only wanted to see 2 shows in my life and those were MJ and Prince.  When Prince came to my hometown in the 80's I was too young (according to my parents) for the type of performance that he done back then but I have to say that it was well worth the wait and the money that I spent on the tickets. I took my 17 y/o daughter and she was loving it as much as I was. Nice to see that some artists can withstand the generation gaps as they are just that good.  :D

General Hoax Talk / Re: New pic of Paris and Grace?
« on: March 30, 2011, 09:11:20 AM »
If I am remembering correctly I think that Katherine brought her back on board after the "death". I remember this being a subject that the news mentioned when they were talking about Katherine had called Grace to ask her "where the money was hidden" since apparently MJ didn't like to use banks and hid large amounts of cash in unexpected areas of his home.

13. Question: How long before the memorial tablet is placed?

Answer: It takes approximately 6-10 weeks after the final approval has been received, the placement fee paid, and manufacturing is completed before a Memorial Tablet is placed. Special emblems, designs, and sketches may take longer. A temporary tablet may be placed for up to 90 days and then replaced once your permanent Memorial Tablet is ready.

I think the key word here is "may be placed" - i dont think its a requirement.

Thats how i read it anyways.   :?
But if the family made if public knowlege that is where his body is then why would they not have a marker placed there and beyond that, what is taking so long to put his permanent marker there if he is indeed there? Please know that I am not trying to argue, just looking for answers  ;)

Thank you fordtocarr I didn't know if there was a link about this or not and something made me start messing around on FL website this morning and that just caught my attention.

This link goes to the page regarding the memorial tablets (grave markers) at Forest Lawn Glendale.  On questions 13 you will notice that it says that permanent markers take 6 to 10 weeks for completion but that a temporary marker will be placed for up to 90 days by FL until the permanent one arrives. Now unless I am reading this incorrectly, I understand that to say that the cemetary requires permanent marker within 90 days time. Am I reading wrong or do you take it the same way?  Also, does anyone recall if there was ever a temporary marker placed on the supposed crypt?
