Others / Re: Was Michael secretly married to Grace? 2007
« on: December 30, 2009, 08:38:20 AM »
Not true. Michael wasn't secretly married to Grace, ever.

By all accounts, meaning as said by many people who personally knew him, Michael (wisely) never slept with the help, let alone married or had intimate relationships with any of them. He was smart and respectful enough to realize it's never a good idea to mix business with pleasure, especially when it comes to a rich, famous, and powerful man like him.

I'm quite sure Grace WISHED he had married her, though. She seems to be quite infatuated with him, as many women (wisely) are.

Other Odd Things / Re: Lisa Marie Presley lists herself as single?

Lisa has also been judged, laughed at, and ridiculed since the day she married MJ. How do you think that makes her feel? When she was married to him, that had to hurt her. Deeply. And what is the impact of it after their divorce? She has to constantly be on the defensive, defending her relationship to him.
I agree with much of what you say, except here.

I don't participate in Lisa Marie discussions at all anymore because it's pointless. People have extremely strong feelings about her -- and rightfully so, if you ask me -- which aren't going to change just because someone points out they're wrong or ill-advised or a waste of time and energy that would be better spent some other way.

All I have to say is this: Lisa Marie would do herself a HUGE favor if she would just shut up about Michael. She may be judged, laughed at, ridiculed, and asked about Michael incessantly, but nobody has ever forced her to keep opening her big mouth up about him over and over again.

The thing that gets me the most about her, and which I find absolutely inexcusable and unforgivable, is the amount of time she has spent talking to other people outside the marriage about her and Michael's sex life. She couldn't have chosen a meaner, nastier, or dirtier topic to share with others -- particularly given Michael's lifelong shyness and understandable apprehension about being judged and having his sexuality questioned and mocked -- which is why I cut Lisa Marie haters boatloads of slack, even when they're getting on my last nerve with the same complaints over and over.

At least Michael had the enormous consideration and dignity to keep quiet about Lisa Marie, something she should have done, as well. In my opinion, the fact that she didn't means she can blame herself for most of the flack she receives today regarding Michael.

I believe many people don't dislike Lisa Marie the person as much as they dislike her *behavior* as it pertains to Michael, especially since he was and is always such a gentleman when it comes to her. I would love to learn how he actually feels about her these many years later, but we'll probably never know, whether he's alive (as I believe) or not.

That's all. I have nothing else to say on the topic, either. Back to work for me.

Random MJ Talk / Re: Why Cant I Feel Anything
« on: December 29, 2009, 06:38:55 PM »
The "no vibes" lack of sensation when it comes to June 25 is one of the main reasons why I'm so confident that Michael is still with us and so calm whenever other people start going crazy with grief or uncertainty or whatever emotion. I will be *floored* if we eventually learn without a doubt that Michael did, in fact, pass away on June 25. My internal "sense-o-meter" has never been that off target before.

So, you are not alone, ladylee1979. I think it's actually good that you can't feel anything because that lack of feeling must be telling you something important, and I personally don't believe it's denial. As they say, it's wise to go with your gut feelings and trust your instincts.

Well, again that's how you feel.
Of course. That's exactly how I feel, which is why I wrote it.

Quote from: "lauren09"
I feel we, none of us, know anything about Michael Jackson, don't really have a clue about the real man. It seems very few really KNEW him, probably because as he's said, he didn't trust very many people, and rightfully so.
I agree.

Quote from: "lauren09"
However, honestly, I now realize I don't have a clue about him, his sexuality, his wanting to dress like a woman, I mean...he did; the full faced makeup, wore women's clothes, perfume, a woman's wig or hair piece. I don't care one way or the other, whatever works for MJ and makes or made him happy. But, I really just don't know anything about him....  I'm just sayin'...why such Androgyny in terms of his appearance?
Why does it matter? Why do you care enough to ask/wonder about it? Could it be that the androgyny you speak of is just how you, and those who share your belief, perceive Michael's appearance? Perhaps other people, including Michael, don't perceive it as androgyny.

I come from a diverse, creative background that has allowed me to spend a lot of time living and sharing experiences with people who are very different, from me and/or the mainstream. Maybe that's why this "androgynous" thing doesn't bother or concern me. I'm a lifelong David Bowie girl, too, not to imply that the two icons have have anything to do with each other directly.

My point is that men wearing makeup or hairpieces or certain types of clothing don't spook me because I understand that's all just the outer, superficial stuff meant to create a specific image. I care about what's truly important. Michael has always been attractive to me, partly because of his physical appearance, but primarily because of who he is as a person and an entertainer.

Quote from: "lauren09"
It doesn't change anything about his music. I've been a fan for 30+ years. But, in some ways, maybe we've all been played. He was born on stage and knew how to play and captivate his audience.   Who knows.  Klein said Michael was a great actor, I think a bit deeper into that comment sometimes.
As for being played and Michael being a great actor, if you mean that Michael did a helluva fine job keeping his personal business and his inner self private, then, yes, I agree with you. If you mean he intentionally and maliciously set out to dupe people, if he did, I believe that was only because people treated him like such an "other" being.

If he played people in the latter sense, it was required for his own protection, and I don't hold it against him. Most people have at least two sides, the private and the public, and sometimes more. Michael is obviously no different in that respect, which is further confirmation that he's only human like the rest of us. It's just that being such a famous person makes the distinction between his different "sides" more critical, noticeable, and mysterious.

Don't you think, if MJ is alive, he's just gone away, he's tired of all this.
Maybe he's tired now, but possibly not forever. Then again, maybe he's NOT tired now and never will be. Maybe he has the same strong, fighting spirit at this very moment that he's demonstrated his entire life, and things just have a time and a place to happen, which isn't right here, right now.

Quote from: "lauren09"
He gave us 45 years of pure magic and went through hell!  And how the h!ll is he just supposed to come back, ya know.  Hey...I'm back?!

I feel so sad. I just don't think we'll see or hear from him again. I just don't!
I have no idea how the hell he's supposed to "come back." None of us do, so all that you can really do is choose to be negative, angry, sad, and/or confused about it, or you can choose to be positive, patient, upbeat, and/or confident about it. I choose the latter, but the decision is something each believer has to make for him- or herself.

My personal choice is why I don't share your sadness or your insistence that we'll never see or hear from Michael again. Maybe we won't, maybe we will. However, I'm only concerned that he's well and safe, so anything beyond that knowledge is just icing on the cake for me, and I expect nothing either way. I admit that I WANT him to return, though.

As for Maura, I have no comment. You can also choose to get wrapped up in the drama or let it roll off of you like water. Guess which option works for me.

Michael Jackson News / Re: BREAKING MY OWN NEWS AND MY BELIEF
« on: December 26, 2009, 08:39:03 PM »
Wow. I don't know what people have been eating and drinking for the holidays, but many posts in the last few days have been totally off the wall, as in just too ridiculous to even take seriously OR humorously.

Some recent posts seem to imply that some people believe nothing is beyond Michael, as if he would do just about any ridiculous thing folks can think up. What kind of man do you think he is that he would fake his death and put his children, loved ones, fans, and HIMSELF through so much drama, only to have a sex change operation to become a blonde white woman permanently? Do you really think there are NO simpler solutions available to one of the richest men on the planet? How much rational thought are people putting into these "theories" before they post them?

If Michael is reading this, he's as APPALLED as I am that anyone would believe, even for a nanosecond, that he would do something like that OR he's laughing his a$$ off while rolling on the floor laughing OR he's appalled and choking on laughter at the same time.

References & Similarities / Re: Did MJ learn from Cat Stevens?

If the theory is true that MJ converted to Islam, maybe he chose this way to leave his stardom behind so as not go thru the same thing Cat Stevens went through.
I doubt it. First, I don't believe Michael converted to Islam. Second, even if he did, I don't think he would go through all of this trouble just to "leave his stardom behind."

Michael doesn't seem that "shallow," for want of a better word, to me. He's an infinitely stronger man and human being than most people give him credit for, which is the main reason why I believe his situation had to have been extremely dire, as in life-or-death circumstances, for him to attempt what happened on June 25.

I don't think Elvis is helping Michael out here. Michael and Lisa parted over 10 years ago and not under happy terms. If Michel was planning his death hoax way back then, I doubt very much he would of had 3 children along the way to raise and then put through all of this.
The quote above wins my award for best comment on this thread. Always remember Prince, Paris and Blanket and Michael's immense love for them. Elvis Presley is also dead, in my opinion, and has been for decades.

Hoax Pictures / Re: Expert Medical Oppinion of Ambulance Photo

Hi all, posted under the vein topic but had to post a new topic to make sure everyone got a chance to read it.... She also gave me a paragraph of what she thought happened to bring about his demise, but since this is a hoax forum, let me know if you would like to see what she had to say.
Thanks for starting a new thread with this info. I haven't read the other one, and your cousin's input makes a lot of sense.

I'd also love to hear her thoughts about what could have caused Michael's "death." If you don't want to include that in this thread, please feel free to PM me. Thanks again.

Agreed. Not to mention the fact that lots of people have facial features similar to Michael's and vice versa. For example, he and one of my female first cousins could have passed as almost identical twins in the Bad era.

It's great people are seeing something in these fuzzy, highly processed photos that makes them feel hopeful during a time when many are losing hope. I need much stronger, clearer evidence to hop aboard, but it would be interesting if it turns out that Blondie and Michael are one and the same.

Random MJ Talk / Re: A few questions regarding the hoax? Help needed?
« on: December 24, 2009, 08:48:29 PM »
Welcome to the forum, KingMJ. Both of your questions make a lot of sense, and my answers to them follow.

Quote from: "KingMJ"
1. We know that Michael has said numerous times that he believed people were after him and were going to kill him... if because of this, MJ hoaxed his own death to escape that ever happening... why would he ever come back again?  Coz the same people, would surely still be after him???
If a fear of being killed is the reason why Michael's death was faked, perhaps June 25 wasn't so much an attempt to escape that ever happening as it was to eventually catch the people trying to kill him.

In other words, maybe the people who were threatening Michael's life are under investigation right now. If so, that could partially explain some of the contradictions people have noticed, the "delays" in law enforcement's progress, and why it seems law enforcement isn't all that interested in the man who most people believe is directly responsible for Michael's "death," meaning Conrad Murray.

Therefore, if the people who wanted to kill Michael are caught and brought to justice, the danger they pose to Michael's life is effectively gone. Should he return, he wouldn't have to worry about them (as much) anymore.

Quote from: "KingMJ"
2. And also, there are some theories that believe that Song/AEG etc. were the ones who wanted Michael killed for their own gain... if that's really the case (and MJ knew they were after him), why would he have them in on the hoax with him... surely that defeats the point? Aren't they the ones he's trying to escape from??
I don't think Sony or AEG are in on any hoax, so no point is defeated by such theories, in my opinion. I just believe those theories are incorrect.

My guess is it's someone on this board.
Possibly. It also crossed my mind that it might be the person who wrote the nine-part series posted here this morning.

Don't wanna sound like a douche or anything, I mean you can believe what you wanna believe...but you're still doubting it. Have you read the entire 9 parts?
You don't sound like a douche to me. You sound direct, and I like it like that.

I doubt quite a bit when it comes to this situation with Michael and June 25. So, yes, I still think TIAI.com is just mind games. I've read segments of the nine-part series and will skim the whole thing later, but I'm not holding my breath that it will change my mind. What I've read so far hasn't impressed me at all.

You're probably right...I guess I'd just be more direct and say something like, "he's really dead, so don't bother adding me as a friend you hoax freaks!"
Very true. That would be my preferred approach also, with a touch of profanity for good measure. Maybe he has a love/hate relationship with hoax believers: he hates that some bug him so much, but he loves how it makes him feel important. The man seems kind of odd to me anyway, so I don't know...

Because whoever owns TIAI.com is continuing to play mind games with the people who believe the redirects are relevant. Or maybe the person is just honored that someone wrote a nine-part series about their website (the thread that TIAI.com links to now is the first of nine recent posts here).
