Exactly. Another thing I realised, what about patient confidentiality? He can't just go public about personal information such as wetting the bed! And he may not be a doctor anymore so technically he's not his patient, but he started filming before he realised he'd be found guilty! So since when is it even legal for a doctor to tell anyone, let alone the whole world his personal information? Do you get what I mean?

For those that are wondering what happened at the end (when the posted vid cuts off), we had Murray praying, the verdict being read, jubilant fans, Murray led away in handcuffs, cut to body in helicopter shot, then Murray crying (I think it said November 2009), saying 'its so sad, I tried so hard (footage of body being transfered to coroner's van), I didn't want to lose him, I love him, I don't want to talk any more', and ended with him looking in the mirror.
I mentioned in another thread - he wanted them to stop filming him 'crying', yet he walked over to the mirror, in full view of the camera? It seemed so deliberate.Catherine23

He's only getting four years maximum, and they worry about his safety in prison? I think he'd be much more unsafe when he gets out of 'prison' with millions upon millions of MJ fans hunting him down, don't you? Fans who believe he is dead won't just forget what CM apparently did; they'll be waiting in four years outside prison for him - crowds of fans will hassle him for a long time screaming obscenities at him. And the jail is worried for his safety now?

I haven't watched yet, but what came up in my mind momentarily is why Murray had "recorded" Michael's speech that was demonstrated during the trial, WHY and WHEN this documentary took place?

My reaction was the same about the recording - why on earth would his doctor suddenly whip out his phone and decide to record him? For what purpose could that possibly serve?! It's just bizarre. Also didn't CM say in the doco he couldn't call 911 because he didn't have a phone? What about the calls made to his girlfriend!Catherine23

Another odd thing, they said "alleged victim Michael Joseph Jackson" BUT I just started reading Jermaine's book "You are not alone" and I just read last night that he said somehow it circulated that his middle name was Joseph BUT that it was really Joe. /pull hair/ I would think that of all places, a court of law would have your name straight.
And here's something else I'm aching to throw in here, Judge Pastor looked phony with his exagerated smilling all the time. Smile for the camera!! /judge/
I noticed the name as well! You would think for such a 'serious' trial on the death of MJ, they would use his correct, official name. I had not picked up on 'alleged' being used yet but will have another look later.Catherine23

I forgot to mention another thing I did notice was when Murray was driving in the car it reminded me a lot of the same scene where Bashir drives the car.

I watched in Australia and was waiting for the others to catch up; I was looking forward to seeing responses and you've all made excellent points. Especially with Kenny being shown and footage from MJ's childhood. I am not sure but I could have sworn I saw a piece of footage of MJ as a child which I had never seen before; almost like it was from the personal collection of the Jackson family. And MJ's voice as a child saying "how you doin'' I have also never heard. If this doco was made by CM's people how on earth could he obtain unreleased footage of MJ (I'm only assuming coz I never saw the footage before). Like someone mentioned, I too thought it was very much staged just like the Jackson Family Dynasty - you could clearly see acting was taking place when the two guys argued, and CM 'cried' (I said out loud, 'where's his tears?') :lol: And if he really wanted to stop the tape rolling, why did he walk away from the camera but stand in front of the mirror, still in FULL view of the camera? Oh and the comparison to Ghosts was a really great point! Under my old account (EyeHeartMJ) I compared Ghosts to the hoax - if you look at the metaphors and symbolism it is very interesting.
I'm sure much more will be noticed but this is all I can remember at the moment.

For those who are losing faith....let me ask you this.
Why would you believe ....
1) Michael's death was a hoax
2) Michael's memorial was a hoax
3) Michael's burial was a hoax
4) Murray's trial was a hoax
.....and NOT BELIEVE this verdict is a hoax? 
....you think a real verdict could come out of a fake trial? :?

I agree with you ENTIRELY. I also had the same thoughts; what has a verdict got to do with anything? I think people losing faith just see it as an ending, like we'll never hear anything more from the Jackson family. I doubt it though!Catherine23

Hi all, my mum bought this book and only just finished it so I'm going to read it entirely very soon. I've only read a small amount; it looks fascinating! I've gone through the photos and I was interested in him in disguise as Uncle Willy. But I thought I'd see if any of you noticed the caption for the photo of him being pushed in a wheelchair. I don't think it's been mentioned yet. It reads "Months earlier, he had the world fooled with a deliberate act of frailty, being pushed in a wheelchair...but it was all part of his clever plan!"
My apologies if this has been noticed earlier, but it certainly raised my eyebrows.

Hi, this is my new account since I couldn't access my old one (I used to be EyeHeartMJ). I haven't been in this forum for quite awhile; I like this thread and have only read a few pages. I'm still kind of confused about what the main thoughts/opinions are about the trial, and due to my crappy internet I haven't watched any of the videos of the trial. Because of this, could someone please fill me in on what the general beliefs about the trial are? Do most of you think it is a movie (I saw that mentioned earlier in the thread) and what are the main clues/ideas you've all picked up on?
Sorry if it seems like a stupid question but I feel like I've missed a lot! geek/

Hi! I used to use the old forum under the name of EyeHeartMJ, but unfortunately I couldn't seem to access the account so I created a new one. You may or may not remember me; I only posted around 40 something times under that name. Oddly enough my avatar isn't showing in this forum, perhaps it's too big?
Anyway, I'm roughly in the middle of being a believer and a non-believer. I need to brush up on all the strangeness surrounding Michael Jackson's death to hopefully put faith back in my heart. What encouraged me to come back to the forum today was a news article I read about an upcoming Conrad Murray documentary, which reminded me of discussing it in the old forum quite awhile back. Register or Login Although I left the forum for awhile and actually lost just about all faith, I of course never stopped being a huge fan. I have been following the trial and it's horrible to think this pathetic excuse for a doctor was probably delaying putting Michael into a rehabilitation facility, and giving him Propofol which he knew was illegal, simply because he wanted his $150 000 a month. Just like so many others, he did, in Michael's words "anything for money". It is just completely beyond me that a so-called cardiologist, a 'specialist' of the heart, did not know how to perform such a basic task of CPR.
I will be reading through recent posts to educate myself on new oddities and clues, and you will probably hear my opinions on them soon.
