Introduce yourself / Re: Hello from Missouri USA
« on: August 22, 2011, 03:23:05 PM »
Thanks for the warm welcome! I am glad to be here, and am so glad to find a place where there is a overwhelming outpouring of love for MJ. He had his fans all along, but their love was often overshadowed by the haters.  I hope he does read this forum, and others like it, and knows just how much people do care.

No comeback in 2010, and even though we have this autograph eluding to July 2011, it is now nearly the end of August, and nothing yet. So, let's assume the autograph is real. What IF this is one of Michael's many ways to toy with us and keep us  on our toes? Giving a date of some sort is going to make people anticipate and keep them guessing once the date has come and gone. Assuming MJ will make a comeback (which I believe is the only thing that makes the idea of a hoax for some greater purpose plausible), I do not like the idea of putting a date on it. It's like playing the same guessing games that religious sects have played for centuries when attempting to predict the end of the world. One part of this thread did stick out at me, though. Suppose the trial does last until 2013-14. Right as it is about to end, Mike returns. BAM! Murray is off the hook. You can't charge someone for murder if the person happens to be found alive, now can ya? I would think Mike might have to pay some of the expenses associated with the case and all, once the hoax is revealed, but he has the money, and I doubt any other legal ramifications could be applied. Do I think life will be boring once this hoax is over? Nope. I am studying to be a lawyer and up to my ears in conspiracies, hoaxes, wrongful convictions, and other crazy things. Those will keep me busy, and I am sure I will find some other interesting case to latch onto on the internet. I would still come to this forum to fellowship with other fans of MJ.

Other Odd Things / Re: Oprah slapped with lawsuit
« on: August 22, 2011, 03:02:43 PM »
I am surprised no one has comented on this post. I agree: KARMA . Seriously, I don't care how rich and powerful Oprah is, she really is not all that and she is definitely not above reproach. Michael Jackson was too nice to do this, but when Oprah interviewed him after his 14 year public hiatus, she crossed the line by asking MJ if he was a virgin on national television. He would not answer, and I cannot blame him. He was embarrassed though. I would have slapped her with some kind of suit then, on principle. Unfortunately, my brain is failing me right now... I can not think what kind of charge this would be.

Other Odd Things / Re: DID YOU KNOW THIS ABOUT MICHAEL JACKSON?

I read this information somewhere at some point in the past. Now, a lot of people still think Michael was involved with the JWs. There are a lot of reasons why that is not really feasible; mostly membership rules in the JWs, but I won;t go into that just yet. I was a JW for 7 years, so I can shed some light on these things at some point. However, even if he was not involved at the time of his "death," the religious teachings of the JWs and basic Christianity were ingrained into his heart and soul. Michael was not like his brothers and others in his family. I think he battled a lot of demons associated with right and wrong; the lax standards of conduct in Hollywood and the music industry vs. the strict moral code he wished to live by. I have no doubt that this immorality within the jackson family created some strife between Michael and the others. Sure, he still loved them, but while they were saying, "Chill, Mike! Go with the flow," he was saying, "C'mon, being a star does not mean you have to live fast and loose." I think this is one aspect of the message behind the death hoax. I think it is about the bigger picture; the world as a whole. However, I feel that Michael is so tired of the corruption, greed, immorality, lack of compassion... pick your poison... in this world that he is telling us to get it together. I do not buy any religious or 2012 connection, but I do think Michael is trying to lead us into enlightenment and teach us to be better human beings.  bearhug

I'm still playing catch up on all of this, but this one has me laughing hysterically. Sorry, I worked in the medical field. Embalming is the only thing that can slow down the process of decomposition. Last time I checked, it was also a law in the most states in the U.S., if not all. I think the only exception is certain religious beliefs, and there are very few who frown upon the embalming of a dead body.

Introduce yourself / Hello from Missouri USA

Hi all! My name is Stephanie. I have been a fan of Michael's since I was a child. I was introduced to MJ via MTV, along with my cousins, at my grandmother's house. The first MJ song I ever heard was The Way You Make Me Feel. I was hooked immediately. I have always been an avid supporter of Michael, never believing the accusations and media hype. I feel that Michael is an amazing person and am an avid beLIEver in the death hoax. Since 2009, I never doubted Michael's death. I was simply not paying much attention. I have been ill for a couple of years and preoccupied with work. Then, I saw Pearl Jr.'s documentary on Netflix. I sat up and said, "Whoa!
I watched it a second time and showed the video to my husband. We needed no further evidence. However, I decided to research the topic to see what else there was to know. I have been lurking here for a while. For some reason, I had a lot of trouble with registration. Now that this problem is resolved, here I am. I have learned much and am even beginning a series on my blog about justice, which will have a lot of posts about Michael Jackson.

Ok, a few basics, just so you can get to know me. I am a freelance writer, online seller, and college student. I am currently pre-law. I intend to use my J.D., when I finally get it, to help those who have been wrongfully convicted or accused, and others in situations where justice is not being fairly dished out. I am married, have no children except my sweet Meowers, and live in Missouri USA. Music has been an integral part of my life ever since I can remember. My parents pushed me into a lot of musical endeavors because of vocal talent. I have been immersed in the music industry for a long time. Fortunately, I made my folks back off and have managed to remain on the outskirts and behind the scenes, where I am much more comfortable. My favorite MJ song is Dirty Diana, hence my moniker on this forum. My middle name is Diane, ironically. Ok, I have talked enough for now.

Anyway, that is my brief bio. I am too complex to tell it all in one post. Wait for the book if you want it all.  lolol/

Other Odd Things / Re: Embalming Date 7/7/09
« on: August 22, 2011, 11:29:17 AM »
I realize this is an old post. I have been lurking for a while and finally was able to sign up. Some glitch prevented it for a while. I have not even set up[ my profile because I have to address this topic. The JW thing is no excuse for the burial delay. JWs are against the use of blood products because they feel that it is the life force and that illness/disease can be contracted. This means no blood, plasma, or platelets may be transfused. Volumizers are welcome. There is no rule against embalming or burying with all blood, organs, etc. The JWs follow the law to a T, including autopsies, embalming, etc. I was a JW for 7 years. Hope this clears things up.
