LOS ANGELES - Michael Jackson's mom is furious over new allegations that her son's doctor was more worried about hiding the drugs he was giving the King of Pop than saving his life. Katherine Jackson, 79, is demanding an upgraded charge of second degree murder, her lawyer told the Daily News, after a report claiming Dr. Conrad Murray interrupted CPR to conceal drug evidence from paramedics. "Mrs. Jackson never doubted that this man murdered her son, and these new revelations, if true, mean we need additional charges to fit the severity of his crimes," attorney Adam Streisand said. "Second degree murder requires malice aforethought, which can be implied by the conduct of the defendant," he said yesterday. "The actions alleged suggest that Dr. Murray abandoned his duties as a physician or an ordinary human being to save himself rather than his patient." Murray, 57, has pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter. He admits he gave the singer the powerful anesthetic propofol as a sleep aid but denies doing anything that killed him. The coroner ruled Jackson's death a homicide caused by an overdose of propofol and other sedatives The damning claims came in a witness statement by Alberto Alvarez, the Jackson employee who rushed to Murray's aid shortly after 12:17 p.m. on June 25 and seeing the king of pop lying on a bed with his arms outstretched and his eyes and mouth open. Murray was performing CPR with one hand and then grabbed vials with rubber tops and asked Alvarez to put in a bag, he said. Murray also asked Alvarez to remove an IV bag from a stand and put it in a separate blue canvas bag, Alvarez said. Once the drugs were concealed, Murray asked Alvarez to call paramedics, the witness said in his statement, obtained by the Associated Press. Murray's lawyer rejected the allegations, arguing that Alvarez didn't mention the drug stashing story in his first interview with investigators. "He wasn't putting bottles in a bag and trying to hide them," lawyer Ed Chernoff told the AP. "We are confident that a fair trial will ferret out the truth." A separate witness could also prove troublesome for Murray. Jackson's personal assistant Michael Amir Williams told probers that Murray asked him for a ride back to Jacko's rented mansion right after the singer was declared dead at a nearby hospital. Murray allegedly said he wanted to retrieve a cream "so the world wouldn't find out about it," Williams said in his statement, also obtained by the AP. Following the other story James Brown body is missing see other thread I have been looking into other areas of James Browns death and came across an interesting comparison JON ALPERT: Well, I had never seen James Brown perform before, And my friend said, Jon, before you die, there’s one thing you have to do, you have to go see James Brown. So, I went up to Beacon Theater, and there were only 10 people in the audience. The theater was absolutely empty. James brown started to sing and he was fantastic, but in the middle of his concert he got on his knees like he does and he began to say folks, look around, the theater is empty, why? Am I bad? No, I’m the greatest man in show business. The mafia is freezing me out. They won't let anybody come to my concerts, I can’t get on the radio, I can't get into concert halls, I can’t be in the movies, I’m not on television. But I'm the great James Brown, “bump, bump, bump”, and he finished his song. So, afterwards I went backstage, I mean, I was so intrigued by this. And, there he was sitting under one of those beehive hair dryers, next to Al Sharpton, under another beehive hair dryer. I’d never seen Al Sharpton before. And he told me this story, that he wanted to manage himself, he wanted to be independent, and that because he was independent, he was getting frozen out by the people in the corporations that controlled the music industry. And I was in the process of being blacklisted, myself, at that time by public television and I was really angry about this. And I thought, this is one of the greatest performers in the history of America, he's being frozen out too. So we started to make a documentary. In my opinion there are many coincidences this is what happened on a much larger scale to MJ certainly in the UK for years you didnt hear any of MJ music on the radio or the TV (now its on all the time). The superstar singer was buried in a crypt at the home of his daughter Deanna after he died in 2006. But it is understood family members discovered the Godfather of Soul's grave had been robbed late last week. Forensics experts who were attempting to exhume the body for postmortem discovered an empty tomb. It is not known when the body was taken or why. But another of the star's daughters, LaRhonda Pettit, 48, believes her father's grave was robbed to cover up foul play in his death. She said: "My daddy's body has disappeared. "I have no clue where it was taken but I need to know where it is. "I'm convinced his death was suspicious and I want the people responsible brought to justice. "The only way to do that is to exhume his body and have an autopsy. "I cannot understand why one was never conducted - especially as his death seemed so mysterious." Brown, also known as Soul Brother Number One, Heartbreaking Mr Dynamite and the Hardest-Working Man in Showbusiness, lived on a 62-acre estate on Beech Island, South Carolina - where he is rumoured to have buried a large chunk of his £120million fortune. He died at the age of 73 on Christmas Day 2006 in Atlanta, Georgia, reportedly of a heart attack following a severe bout of pneumonia. But LaRhonda, one of Brown's many illegitimate children, said: "It was common knowledge that my daddy took illegal drugs such as PCP until his death. "He was also hooked on various prescription painkillers. "At the very least there were 'enablers' who helped cause his death. "There were also reports he may even have been beaten up before he died - perhaps by someone looking for money on his property." Brown's many hit records included I Got You (I Feel Good), Papa's Got A Brand New Bag and Get Up (I Feel Like Being A) Sex Machine. A prolific songwriter and tireless performer, he is recognized as one of the most influential figures in pop music.  :shock:

Very interesting "about the book" He was an entertainer that loved to develop illusions for his stage presentations and videos which “fooled” his audiences. Michael always wanted to have a normal life for him and his children in which they could enjoy the simple things in life without the scrutiny of the public and media. Michael has proven to be worth more in death than in life. With all the publicity for his death, there is still no real physical evidence Michael Jackson is really deceased. Therefore, there is the possibility Michael inadvertently created the “illusion” of his own death. Interesting huh! You are not allowed to view links.

I cam across this interview with Harvey and Dr Kline, not sure how old these are couldnt find a date but after the Memorial. His views on all things MJ, the family and Dr Murray are revealing. There are 1 - 10 sections of this interview. Im half way through its very interesting to hear his perspective, I have not seen these before. Just came across this on Twitter, its very strange indeed this is not possible!! Late pop legend Michael Jackson's children may perform at the Grammy Awards Sunday. Jacko, who won 13 Grammys, will get a posthumous lifetime achievement award at the ceremony. Sources have said that Grammy producers are making a last-minute effort to incorporate Michael Jackson's children, Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket, into Sunday night's tribute to their late father, eonline.com reports. The Grammys tribute will feature a 3-D mini movie set to Jackson's "Earth Song" that was going to be featured in his “This is It” tour. "They've been working on everything from them singing to just making an appearance," the Grammys insider says of Jackson's children's possible involvement. A source close to the Jackson family told E! News that the children "might" be there. The family source confirms that several members of the Jackson family, including father Joe, are scheduled to attend the Grammys. "They might go, but Kate (Kathryn, their grandmother) is very protective of having them in front of the cameras, so I doubt they will walk the carpet," said the source.
