"The millionaire megastar had been preparing for his comeback tour when he was found unresponsive in his LA home and declared dead at the age of 48."

:omg: 48? Do they believe in the 2nd younger MJ theory?

and this part....

"Websites such as michaeljacksonsightings.com and michaeljacksonhoaxdeath.com have been registered to help “explain” what happened.

Just about the only explanation they do not consider is that he collapsed and died of a heart attack due to the stress of an upcoming series of gigs.

Instead, they make a series of outlandish claims, including theories he is hiding in eastern Europe; he headed to Bahrain, where the royal family are looking after him; and he hopped across the US-Mexico border."

I understand what you mean @Souza. Michael can take an average sounding  melody and take it from simple to sublime with what he does with it.
Okay....back on to the topic.

I was raising my eyebrows too on this post. Talking about the man he IS.

My thoughts too. So much use of present tense here.  For some reason, it  makes me think of this song by MJ and McCartney .. which we looked at way back in the early days of the hoax.

"The Man"
There's A Man
Who Plays The Game Of Life So Well
There's Such A Man
His Thoughts You Can Never Tell
And It's Just The Way He Thought It Would Be
'Cause The Day Has Come For Him To Be Free
Then He Laughs, He Kicks And Rolls Up His Sleeves
I'm Alive And I'm Here Forever
This Is The Man
There's A Man
Everybody Thought They Knew
There's Such A Man
He's Not Like Me And You
And It's Just The Way She Thought It Would Be
As He Says, Something Has Happened To Me
Then He Laughs, He Kicks And Rolls Up His Sleeves
I'm Alive And I'm Here Forever
This Is The Man
And It's Just The Way He Thought It Would Be
'Cause The Day Has Come For Him To Be Free
Then He Laughs, He Kicks And Rolls Up His Sleeves
I'm Alive And I'm Here Forever
This Is The Man
Did You Know - This Man Can Do Anything?
There's Such A Man
I Wish That We Could Bring
And It's Just The Way He Thought It Would Be
'Cause The Day Has Come For Him To Be Free
Then He Laughs, He Kicks And Rolls Up His Sleeves
I'm Alive And I'm Here Forever
This Is The Man
There's A Man
Everybody Thought They Knew
There's Such A Man
He's Not Like Me And You
And It's Just The Way She Thought It Would Be
As He Says, Something Has Happened To Me
Then He Laughs, He Kicks And Rolls Up His Sleeves
I'm Alive And I'm Here Forever
This Is The Man
This Is The Man
This Is The Man
This Is The Man

When we think of the hoax beginnings, we usually start with the O2 announcement, but there were a few interesting things from December in '08.

- There was a call to a radio station in Dec '08 claiming MJ had died of a drug overdose. News  and local TV stations were reporting it before it was discovered to be a hoax.

- Halporin wrote on his blog site that Michael had only 6 months left to live in Dec '08. The blog entry was picked up by news outlets around the globe. The enquirer ran the story  on Jan 7th.  As Halporin predicted,  6 months later, Michael was gone [from public life]

-The surveilance tapes from the night/ day when Michael supposedly died went  missing or perhaps never existed.

- The pepsi burn video suddenly appears online.

I will add more later when time permits.

The Double Theory / Re: "Always nice to sing with my brother"
« on: August 28, 2016, 11:32:16 AM »
Interesting that these  tracks  have so many vocals.   I was of the understanding that demos were usually raw tracks...not mixed and no overdubbing.
When I listened with headphones it was clearer, and I think this is not layered, but one straight take.
I just love that demo of Love Never Felt So Good. Their harmonies are delish....got me gushing like a fan-girl.
When the brothers sing it is 'always nice' .

Introduce yourself / Re: New "Believer"
« on: August 24, 2016, 12:03:12 AM »
Hi Healtheworld,

It is great to have you here with us. It is always interesting to read what made others question the stories being fed to us.  For me, it was the ambulance photo and the Dave Dave interview that pushed me from the place of a grieving fan to a believer in the MJ  hoax.
I couldn't stop staring at that picture that was plastered across every news paper and magazine cover. Nor was I  able to reconcile or understand how MJ looked to be straight out of the Bad era and hadn't aged at all, while reports said that he was unrecognizable by the attending paramedics who thought he was an old asian hospice patient. Once you step  into this rabbit hole, you change forever. I will never view world events as they are reported to us by the media in the same way again.

Welcome to the hoax site and I hope you enjoy your time here with us.

One wears the glove on the other hand.

No Suspicious. I think a part of the cover was clipped off. It should read The secret lives of Dr Conrad Murray and Michael Jackson.

Other Odd Things / Re: Jack Crooner, Miami Rat Pack

Another odd thing is the word farce in Dr Farschian's name.
Quote
farce
fɑːs/Submit
noun
a comic dramatic work using buffoonery and horseplay and typically including crude characterization and ludicrously improbable situations.
"he toured the backwoods in second-rate farces"
synonyms:   slapstick comedy, broad comedy,

I was watching these videos of Jack Crooner and the words of Conrad Murray are playing in my head instead of that [cough] singing.
Quote
“Michael's past has been a momentous disaster, he carried a lot of pain.,” Murray admitted.

“He felt he could no longer look at the person in the mirror and get away from the issues. His hair could be changed, his skin could be changed, but his memory never changed. He wanted to have brain surgery and talked about having a brain transplant. Something that has never been done before.

"Michael was running away from himself.”

Dr. Conrad Murray / Re: Murray's Book This Is It
« on: August 04, 2016, 10:27:31 AM »
That is a strange looking cover photo of Murray IMO. I don't think I ever realized how similar his two front teeth are to Michael's before. Not saying that it's the man incognito at all, just saying that there is something that seems off about the picture. Reminds me of a black Steven Segal.
No Souza, I don't know of anyone who has the e book. I thought I read somewhere that the paperback version will be out in september.

MJ Estate Calls Reports of Stockpiled Pornography FALSE.
Enough Is Enough
by Samantha Schnurr 6/24/2016    1.04AM

[imgleft width=400]http://www.eonline.com/eol_images/Entire_Site/2014520/rs_634x1024-140620145501-634.michael-jackson.jpg[/imgleft]With the anniversary of Michael Jackson's death upon us, his estate is slamming new allegations against the late pop legend, calling the timing all too curious.

According to new reports published by Radar Online this week, "never-before-seen" papers allegedly filed by the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office after the ranch raid in November 2003 claim Jackson stockpiled pornography.

Kelly Hoover, a public information officer for the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office, maintains that they did not provide the website with any of the documents.

"Some of the documents appear to be copies of reports that were authored by Sheriff's Office personnel as well as evidentiary photographs taken by Sheriff' Office personnel during the 2003 investigation, interspersed with content that appears to be obtained off the internet or through unknown sources. The Sheriff's Office did not release any of the documents and/or photographs to the media. The Sheriff's Office released all of its reports and the photographs as part of the required discovery process to the prosecution and the defense," she said in a statement to E! News.

"The photos that are interspersed appear to be some evidentiary photos taken by Sheriff's investigators and others are clearly obtained from the internet. The Sheriff's Office has not released any video footage from the Michael Jackson case to anyone other than the prosecution and the defense via the discovery process.  We can confirm the video footage posted on-line was taken by Sheriff's Office personnel during our service of a search warrant at Neverland Ranch in 2003. There is no indication that any of the material came from the Sheriff's Office and we are unsure of the source."

During his 2005 trial, authorities discovered Jackson owned conventional adult magazines like Playboy and Penthouse, but assert there was no child pornography among his belongings.

"There were photos of nude children but they weren't sexually graphic," Former Santa Barbara Senior Assistant District Attorney Ron Zonen, who worked for the prosecution during the case, told People. "They weren't children engaged in sexual activity and there was no child pornography. There were no videos involving children. There were videos that were seized but they were conventional adult sexually graphic material. No children involved."
Furthermore, the deceased singer's estate refuted the claims and reminded that Jackson was found not guilty on all of his charges—including four counts of molesting a minor, four counts of intoxicating a minor in order to molest him and one count of attempted child molestation—during his trial over a decade ago.

"Seven years ago this coming Saturday, the world lost an amazing artist and humanitarian devoted to helping children in need in all corners of the world. Michael Jackson's fans, including the Executors of his estate, prefer to remember the wonderful gifts Michael left behind instead of having to once again see his good name dragged through the mud by tabloid trash," the estate said in a statement to E! News.

"Everything in these reports, including what the County of Santa Barbara calls 'content that appears to be obtained off the Internet or through unknown sources' is false, no doubt timed to the anniversary of Michael's passing. Those who continue to shamelessly exploit Michael via sleazy internet "click bait" ignore that he was acquitted by a jury in 2005 on every one of the 14 salacious charges brought against him in a failed witch hunt.Michael remains just as innocent of these smears in death as he was in life even though he isn't here to defend himself. Enough is enough."

Jackson's defense attorney Thomas Mesereau tells E! News, "The information is dated, exaggerated and irrelevant. It was all litigated in 2005. It was completely rejected by a jury 11 years ago. Prosecutors at Jackson's trial got their asses kicked."

AEG ~ Sony / Sony Given Green Light for Catalog Buy out

SONY CORP GIVEN GREEN LIGHT IN
$750m MICHAEL JACKSON BUY OUT DEAL
by Daniel Gumble 8/1/2016 [member=15679][/member] 10.44pm

Sony Corp has been given the green light by EU antitrust regulators to buy out the Michael Jackson estate’s 50% share in its Sony/ATV publishing business.

The deal now means that Sony Corp will own the copyrights to The Beatles catalogue and music by Taylor Swift.

According to the European Commission the deal would not harm competition in the recorded music and music publishing sectors.

"The transaction will not materially increase Sony's market power vis-a-vis digital music providers compared to the situation prior to the merger," the EU competition enforcer said in a statement.

Earlier this year, the Independent Music Publishers Forum, which represents independent music publishers worldwide, joined Warner Music Group and Impala in expressing its "concern" regarding the agreement between Sony Corp. and the estate of Michael Jackson for the purchase of the remaining shares of its catalogue in Sony/ATV.

For IMPF, the transaction worth an estimated $750m, would lead to a "concentration of catalogue in the hands of Sony ATV, a company which arguably holds some 30% of the music publishing market," and would "put further strain on pricing and give Sony/ATV even more negotiating power on deal terms with over the top companies in the music market."

Pierre Mossiat, president of Brussels-based IMPF said that "IMPF intends to complain to the European Commission over the acquisition which needs to be carefully considered not only on the grounds of the distortion of the market it will cause, and in particular to independent music publishers, but also in the long run, the risk of reduced consumer choice and increased prices".

More details and industry reaction to follow.
