My apologies Souza if I am misunderstanding you, in the first post you cited IMDB as a source: Introducing Lenny Kravitz. Lenny is 1.73m or 5'8", IMDB even states he's 1.70cm or 5'7" However, in a later thread their credibility seems to be in question: IMDb -- the Internet movie database -- now has Sandra Bullock's marital status listed as "separated" but Sandra's rep says they never authorized the change. I ask this because I am concerned about the credibility of the "sources" (not being cited by many) for the heights of these celebrities. I do not understand how members can be speculating on the heights of the people in these photographs. For one thing as a rule of thumb, to properly distinguish a height difference between people, they should be standing back to back and not slouching. As far as I can see we do not have any such pictures here, nor do we have any official source (as of yet) proving the supposed heights of the other subjects in the pictures. In almost all of them, the subjects are leaning/slouching/or contorted one way or another and in the majority we cannot even see the position of the feet which can further alter a persons height if they are not planted firmly. I should think that they would have different expressions since the photos were not taken within milliseconds of each other. I can see where one seems to have more weight than the other, but one is a more full on photo and the other is a semi profile, so it is my opinion that the semi- profile picture gives the illusion of being thinner, although I personally would not say as much as 20 pounds. In addition, the man posing with Lenny has the discoloured nails that we have all come to identify as Michael's nails.

So that's another 9/9/9, another coincidence? I'm sorry Souza, but this doesn't make sense to me, why did you sum them like that? Wouldn't it make sense to sum them in some sort of order? Perhaps you did sum them in an order and I am not seeing it. @ Doctor Death, I understand your frustrations, but perhaps your expectations for the mental evolution of our species over such a short period of time is too high. After all- centuries of mass brainwashing which has increased at an even more rapid state with the introduction of mass communication systems (which btw are just tools for the relay of instructions or commands from our masters) cannot be erased in a year. I agree with Mo, that on the whole- humans are a curious species. And they are mostly willing to do the minimal amount of research that may be necessary. But even more than that we have an innate need to be a part of a herd...hence we do not like to think outside the mainstream...Our masters have capitalized on this since before "Noah warned of an impending flood" (figure of speech, not trying to indoctrinate anyone). However Dr. Death if you take this proverb seriously...remember, that ship could not have been the most pleasant place to be (think animal excrements :oops: ) However, it was the safest. So don't give up hope. Continue to think outside that box and never accept anything @ face value...even if your alternative stinks! And when you can throw your seeds, they may find fertile ground...beating someone with a branch is not nearly as effective as when those seeds take root!

I think that this thread is causing a great divide among those on either side, not just a simple disagreement. With some people being openly rude and hostile towards other members and even Michael- or in some people's opinion- a double. I am not saying that the thread should be deleted. But certainly locked. The investigation isn't moving forward with this topic, and may even be holding us back...especially since it cannot be, for the time being, confirmed by the man himself @ the most. Besides, imo other threads have been locked for lesser reasons.
First of all, this is the OFFICIAL double thread and for that reason alone it won't be locked. Second: As for your other questions/remarks - I don't think this thread is the appropriate place to discuss those. I'd rather see that appear in the Forum FAQ,... My apologies, I did not realize that because something has been labelled OFFICIAL it is right. Of course I shall concede the matter.

Hey fam, I'm afraid that if Michael comes back his army of L.O.V.E will tear him to pieces!  Since none of us can agree as to the real identity of the man. If no one has any ideas as to the connection between the "theory of doubles" and the reason for the hoax AND it's MESSAGE (perhaps as a commentary in the form of a performance piece or as an escape route)...which is why we are all here btw...maybe, we should give this topic a break and concentrate our combined efforts on other areas of the hoax and its unraveling? It makes no sense going back and forth trying to prove the other camp wrong, because in this instance there is no way to be objective, all the evidence for either side is circumstantial @ best. For now, we are only stagnant in the preconceived ideas of what we think Michael really looks like...when in fact many of us have ever spent anytime in his personal space or in the case of a lucky few- spent any significant time with him...What we do know is that he was a kind human being who loved his family, fans...and art...what would drive such a man to undertake a death hoax?... As someone once said "The trick to forgetting the big picture is to look at everything close-up."...and just as an aside Annie Leibovitz the famous portrait photographer said "I am impressed with what happens when someone stays in the same place and you took the same picture over and over and it would be different, every single frame." ...imagine what they would look like on different days!

I agree with Tom here, if you are wearing saggy jeans and ur knees are bended, then of course the jeans will appear tighter from the front, perhaps a view from the back will show that the jeans are still a tad bigger? I agree with DM here, whether or not these men are doubles, I don't think it is appropriate for anyone to make comments such as "looks like ass" or name calling such as "froggy" simply because one is of the impression that it is not Mike. Remember, that to show disrespect for anyone is to show disrespect for yourself. I am not of the impression that Mike used doubles in the film, I think that many of the differences can be explained by lighting, angles, and weight fluctuations as well as make-up and hair style...as a person who experiences frequent fluctuations in weight, I have experienced these differences (apparent change in the shape of my face- yes I kno it sounds strange, but it is true. I generally have a heart- shaped face, but I have seen pictures where I appear to have an oval or EVEN an elongated shaped face!) Because of this, I have a fear of taking pictures because I think I never look like myself or even look the same from picture to picture. Another example is my nose, if my head is tilted down and to the left I appear to have a str8 nose, however, if I turn a little to the right with head tilted back...much broader...I say all of that to say that we should be careful in our "analysis", because you never know...those "doubles"/humans with feelings could be reading as well...and after all they would only have been doing their job...

I checked it out, and they do not appear to sign "alive"....@ 1:22, infact, even though there is a slight variation from ASL, all the dancers appear to be signing "lead", the variation being that they make a fist with their left hand (thumb up), and their right hand (also with thumbs up, join the two in what appear to be a fist bumband draw both hands away from the body into the air to the right. While the ASL version is to make a horizontal L with the left hand and use the right hand to tug the left hand to the right and away from the body.

If they were signing alive, both hands wld make a horizontal L (thumbs pointing up) and wld follow the line of the body from the belly up to the chest- not away from the body. Like this:
