I mean no disrespect when I ask this question. Would you be sad? Angry? Indifferent?

General Hoax Talk / POLL: Is faking death the equivalent of suicide?
« on: July 30, 2010, 01:10:23 PM »
I apologize if this is the wrong area to post this question lol. But when you think about, he technically killed himself off the face of the earth, right? So has he just committed a fake suicide?

General Hoax Talk / POLL: LAST POLL OF THE DAY
« on: June 30, 2010, 12:24:09 AM »
I know I've been posting all these questions today, but these are just a small fraction of the things I've been wondering. I'll answer my other polls first before asking this last one.

1> Before Michael died, did you think he would hoax his death?
Ans: NO.

2> Is this hoax considered a moral sin?
Ans: I asked this because of all the negativity that has resulted to others as a result of him leaving. Exploitation of his children, depression, suicides, division among Michael's fans, and just plain sadness to millions.

3> What message is this hoax giving Michael's fans?
Ans: Obviously a message is possibly being delivered to non fans, but that can't be just it. He's tell ALL of us something. Maybe its not just the non fans that needed change. It could've been us as well.

4> What self satisfaction do you get from beLIEving?
Ans: I'll be 100% honest on this one. After really really thinking, I think I get the satisfation of being apart of something exclusive. Sometimes I think the reason why I joined with this group is because I was so used to get bashed by non MJ fans, that getting bashed by non believers is nothing new. I've always liked unusual things, and people often think I'm weird because of that. Maybe that's why I gravitated towards Michael in the first place. He's unique. Once he passed, of course he recieved many many new fans. I love that, but then I felt like I wasn't part of something exclusive anymore. I'm just one of the norm.  Or it could be me not being able to fully let Michael go. At first I felt selfless by letting him have his freedom and understanding why he did this, but then again I'm still chaining him down. I'm being selfish, basically. Obviously, if he did this, he didn't want anybody to know, including us. In a way, I'm starting feel better thinking he just passed away. There, that's my honest honest answer. Judge if you will, but that's the honest to God truth.

5> What good things have happened since Michael died?
Ans: The discovery of Michael Jackson brings a sense of awareness of what good and love, human beings are capable of. When I first saw Moonwalker in the 5th grade, I loved him instantly. I wanted to learn more about this magic man. Then as I got older, I learned about all the beautiful contributions he made to the world. Because of him, I started writing songs. Many other new fans have also discovered the kindness this man has shared. But then, there are the not so good things. I notice I have become more isolated. I wear myself out defending him, and sometimes I just want to let it rest. As I said in one of the questions above, Michael's fans are so sad now. He's being exploited more than ever left and right, his kids are being exploited like crazy, about a dozen fans have committed suicide, a doctor is going on trial for manslaughter, millions of fans hate this doctor, many dreams of seeing him live were shattered when TII never happened, and Michael's fans are divided now. Whether he's here or not, the media will continue to be vicious towards him. They would rather report news of his alleged "gay lover" than the wonderful changes he made to the world.

6> How do you think the world would react if he revealed himself?
Ans: Shocked and upset. Not just because he pulled the hoax, but because of the amount of time that has passed and what has transpired since then. Of course though, we would embrace him.

7> What are your opinions of Dr Murray?
Ans: I really don't know now

8> What do you suppose the TII announcement was for?
Ans: Because he didn't do the shows, I don't know. I was really really really looking forward though. I wish he could've made it to just one show :(

Now that I have answered those, here's the last question: HOW do you think he will reveal himself? Television? Video on the internet? His family announcing the truth?

His message was clear, this is it, see you in July with the songs his fans wants to hear.
July 7th, his memorial, the songs fans wanted to hear (most of..)

I still beleve that he was ready to do 10 shows in one year.

Yes Gema, he was ready for the ten shows he announced. I knew when I first watched that announcement he would add more dates. I mean this is MICHAEL JACKSON who we're talking about! Of course, we wanted more. But why didn't he do at least one show? By the looks of the movie, the show would've been amazing

"knowing Michael" in th way I perceive him, something really drastic happened (if he didn´t die already  ).
- His life was threatened (I star with that one, cause it is my belief)
- His crew of dancers were not ready or were getting sick by exhaustion (I believe MJ cared alot for people around him)
- The shows were not ready in the level MJ wanted and expected (the greatest show on earth)
- Some contractual facts that did not fit to everyone (who knows how many crooks were on the way..)
- He may be wanted also 110% control and more time to get it ready (perfectionism and strong will of not wanting to be "the nice guy" any longer).

Your points are so brillant.  You have expressed so many of my thoughts to a T!

His life was being threatened
He did not have enough time to prepare for the TII shows because of his level of perfectionism.

God bless you, Gema!

But how do you know he wasn't prepared? I'm sure that couldn't have been the reason for him doing this. Yes, Michael very much was a perfectionist, but by the looks of the TII movie, that show was beyond perfect. The costumes, the dance routines, the effects, the musicians, etc were all AMAZING. I wish he could've done just one show, no for us, but for his kids. :(

sometimes i worry that believing in the hoax has taken away my ability to have the emotions that i should be having. does that make sense to anyone?

Yes, that makes sense. Most definitely. You ever feel like holding on to him like this is inhibiting the healing process sometimes?

Makes sense to me suspicious mind.

Love Love, I feel like we are making "Group Theraphy" lol. Do you have answers to your own polls?

I'll put mine a little later. I just want to hear you guys out first.  ;)

This is a really tricky question...haha I think the world is going to experience just about every possible reaction you could imagine!
I mean it's funny...I've had some people admit to me, "You know I never really appreciated Michael before he died, but now I see that I misjudged him and I regret it. But better late than never." That's what they say hah.
Many many people right now realize that they misjudged him and they wish they could have him back. Many non-believing fans often say, "I know  he is gone, but I would do anything to have him back."
All these people wishing for Michael back, not realizing that it could maybe be possible one day, and when that day comes, we'll see how many actually stand by their words...
As for the media, they're going to have a field day. But hopefully Michael's entire hoax, I feel that one of the main reasons of it is to teach us that the media is full of BS and 90% of it isn't true so we shouldn't listen to the media or care about what they say. Hopefully this teaches more people to disregard it.
I think a lot of fans will be infuriated, but if they are that's a little selfish in my opinion, and I'm positive Michael had very good reasons for what he did and he will explain everything thoroughly, I can't imagine why his fans would still abandon him after they hear his reasoning.
I mean it's going to be unlike any other moment ever in history! Nothing like this has ever happened before, so it is definitely going to shake up the world! Which is what MJ's all about ;)

And nobody's ever going to believe when any celebrity actually "dies" any more haha. It'll be "Are they pulling a Michael Jackson?"

I hear what you guys are saying, Michael obviously has a reason for doing this. But NONE of us actually know why. We can only assume. So I guess its understandable why non believers would be angry. It's been over a year, and he still hasn't return. Fans have commited suicide. How much longer is this going to go on? Of course this will go down in history, but not for good reasons I'm afraid. The media can be vicious. Who knows what they will do to him after this

If he hoaxed his death, I think the reactions will depend of the reasons. Some would be confused, but most likely ridiculing, hounding, stalking, bashing, hating, mocking Michael.

Yes I agree mjj29...8. I think it will be very much mostly anger. But that's very understandable. Suppose the person you loved so much tricked you like that. It would hurt very very badly

I would not feel tricked to be honest, God knows what he had to go through. But what do you expect from people whom still believe he is guilty of Child molestation, or that he bleached his skin because he didn't want to be a black man?... Go through the comments section on YouTube's videos, or in the articles OnLine about Michael to see what I mean.

Oh my goodness, yes that man went through more than any human being that was so loving like him should go through. It was just inhumane. The sad thing is, some people still treat him like that. But the people whom still believe he is guilty of child molestation or didn't want to be a black man, are obviously not fans. They would not feel the anger of fans that have stood by through very thick and very thin. It has been confirmed by the justice system that Michael is did NOT commit that crime. It has been confirmed by Michael that he had the skin disorder vitiligo. However, it has not been confirmed by anybody that Michael is still here, except by a very small portion of his fans. It's just our speculation, ya know?

Love_Love, I don’t think the fans are the problem.

You just said it in your post: Justice System said so, Michael himself said so, yet the only ones who listened to him were his fans. The rest of the world just believed what media said.

If he indeed faked his death, who do you think is gonna listen what he has to say this time? Yup only the fans again, because they are the ones who know in detail what he had to endure, they felt his pain, they were there no matter what. I can assure you, fans would give him the chance to explain himself, listening word by word what he has to say. But what about the rest? what about media?

That's why I’m sceptical about the “Michael hoaxed his death to get his message across" theory. Like it or not, it's not going to be succesfull, because the message/his reasons would be buried under tons of media/haters garbage.

I'm glad you started this thread, because it is really important. Bless you.

Thank You :D

Well, for me, I learned a lot about the evil things going on in this world, and in the government. Like illuminati, NWO, & H.A.A.R.P.S.

I never knew about these things before he died, to be completely honest.

Oh yeah, very true MJFan7. But do you think that was Michael's goal?

POLL: Is Michael actually apart of the endless cycles of really big super stars dying young? It happened to Marilyn Monroe, Elvis, and John Lennon. Michael of course was the biggest star the world has ever seen. It has happened time and time again, ya know?

"whatever it is, it isn't being delivered like it should be"

The "message" will be understood by people in the way their psycho works, I guess.

I am sure the world is awared of the humanitarian Michael was, but he was the biggest entertainer during decades as well. His life has not been a life difficult to forget with all the drama and gossip either.

Now that he is gone, people want to know what happened and digging in to morbid speculatins is part of it. That unfortunately, will never stop.

I'm afraid it won't. 50 years from now, they will still probably be speculating why he changed skin tones, etc etc.

Michael was a very special person. People wanted to touch him and many followed him as I see in videos and pics.
In other countries, that is not happening, like in Baharein or even France.

To be honest, I think his kids are doing just fine.
I understand that they feel they can´t go anywhere, that their father is followed all over, but many other kids in the world don´t even have a father (as they may be do now   )or 1% of the love they are getting by their family and father.

And the the average American childhood can be replace by the average childhood with a lot of love, that is what counts hun

I am sure that if MJ is still alive he will take the right path for the sake of his children.

I hear ya Gema. To be honest, I don't have a father. He contacted me a few months ago after 14 years of not hearing from him, but now he's gone ghost again. Haven't heard from him in about a month now. I do have a VERY loving mother though, and that's all I need for that matter. And I'm sure his children are doing well also. Katherine seems like she's doing well with them. But whoever leaked those vids of Michael's kids, is a complete a-hole. Hoax or not, Michael didn't want his kids to be exploited like he was growing up.
