(CNN) -- California Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor ruled Thursday that two autopsy photos of Michael Jackson can be submitted as evidence during the upcoming trial of Dr. Conrad Murray, a person inside the courtroom told CNN.

Murray is charged with involuntary manslaughter. Authorities allege that he gave Jackson propofol, a surgical anesthetic drug, that combined with several sedatives found in his blood to kill the singer on June 25, 2009, the Los Angeles County coroner has said.

Jury selection in Murray's trial began last month and will continue into early May. Opening statements and testimony are scheduled to begin May 9.

Los Angeles County District Attorney Steve Cooley and his team had filed a motion Tuesday to allow jurors to see the photos, arguing that California courts "permit (prosecutors) to admit autopsy photographs, as they are relevant, (that) will illustrate the testimony of witnesses and will enhance the jury's understanding of the prosecution's case." The photographs will be "properly redacted as deemed appropriate," the prosecution said.

"These limited photographs will help demonstrate that Michael Jackson was generally in excellent health and that, while thin, his body weight was within the normal range," the prosecution said in its motion, adding that the medical examiner and other experts may reference the autopsy photos during the trial.

The defense has argued that Jackson self-administered the propofol in a desperate attempt to get sleep before a rehearsal.

Murray told investigators he was trying to wean Jackson off propofol in the last days of his life, but that he used it along with other drugs to help the pop star sleep that last morning.

The defense claims that the singer's dermatologist, Dr. Arnold Klein, injected Jackson with powerful painkillers dozens of times in the last months of his life, unknown to Murray.

The Medical Board of California and Los Angeles County coroner investigated Klein after Jackson's death, but he was never charged, and no action was taken to revoke his medical license.

Earlier this month, Michael Jackson's dermatologist was ordered to give copies of the pop star's medical records to Murray's attorneys.

Defense attorney Ed Chernoff argued he needed the financial and medical information to make the case that Jackson, who he said was "a desperate man in many respects," gave himself the fatal dose of surgical anesthesia while the doctor was not watching.

Judge Pastor did not order estate executors to give the defense detailed financial information about money the singer owed when he died. But he did say that Jackson's former business manager, Tohme Tohme, must testify in Murray's trial.

July 7, 2009

MCKINNEY, TX - Professional stuntman Kinnie Gibson is today preparing for his next adventure, but it is one that happened 16 years ago that still stands out. A 1993 phone call from Michael Jackson's manager saying The King of Pop wanted what's called a rocket belt in his upcoming tour.

Kinnie Gibson says, "At that time I was the only person who had a rocket belt. We were the only rocket belt company in the world...There wasn't anybody else to call."

Gibson and his rocket belt joined Jackson's Dangerous tour for 43 shows. It became signature finale. He says, "The fans loved it. They just went absolutely crazy." The launches also became the subject of widespread speculation, which Gibson's wife, Sheri, saw firsthand. She says, "The papers were always wondering where did he go, where did he fly to? Where did he land? And how did he get out there? If it wasn't him on the machine who was it?"

Over the years, Kinnie Gibson has been asked the question too many times to count. I, of course, had to ask one more time, "Was it you flying with the rocket belt or was it..." Gibson didn't let me get far. He smiled and finished my question. "Was it me or was it Michael? You know I think it would be good to just leave that as a mystery." Gibson says that's how Michael Jackson would have wanted it.

During the four months Gibson toured with Jackson, he says he was consistently wowed by the performer and the person. He remembers a genuine man who was kind to his children and others. All his actions contradictory to criminal allegations.

Kinnie Gibson says, "Everything that I saw Michael do was very good. He on his days off when we were in all these different cities, he would go to orphanages and visit with kids and say hi to them and sign autographs. He just really had a big heart for kids."

I must say that if it was a stunt double or if it was him with ropes, he really pulled off the illusion very well...with all the dancers playing the roles of professionals, with their jumpsuits, clip boards, walkie-talkies and all. He is obviously well aware of how to pull off a detailed illusion.  :D. If it was really him flying that thing...then that is pretty awesome as well! Just wondering.

Michael Jackson News / Re: NO GOD FOR JEWS, CHRISTIANS, ??? US????
« on: April 08, 2010, 09:39:46 PM »
ABeautifulMind, I totaly agree! I'll just add that, imo, god is simply a word. A word for that energy that is a part of all of us, an energy that we call love. Love is the meaning of our existence, and it flows through everyone  and everything. Love=god, god=love. I don't need the distractions of church, religion, or "rules" to be a spiritual beeing. I was raised to be tolerant and understanding of all beliefs. I appretiate all the different veiws out there.

About the turning 666 into 999..with the upside-down pyramid "If you turn the pyramid system upside down, you have a system where the government (bottom) is afraid of the people (top): V for Vendetta. And the 666 has been turned into a 999!"
