Michael writing checks or giving gifts, especially during the 80's and 90's when he was at his most successful, doesn't mean anything.  He's a very generous person, and was known for giving expensive gifts to people he cared about on a whim.  So it's not inconceivable that, when finding out one of his young friend's father works a rather low-paying job, that he would want to assist them.  That's just the type of person he was.

If you don't understand why he would do this simply out of the kindness of his heart, than you don't know Michael.

I'm not sure how to properly embed youtube videos, so here's a link to Chris Tucker giving a little taste of Michael's generous heart (and being wicked funny doing so)  You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

Michael Jackson News / Re: Michael Jackson Fragrance Line On The Way
« on: January 20, 2011, 02:50:11 PM »
If Joe's the one behind the fragrance line, sorry but I can't support it.  He's been pushing & self-promoting & using Michael's death (or vanishing act) as a stepping stone for himself since day one, and unless he plans on giving most of the profits to charity OR Michael's children (which I doubt he will), I can not financially support this.   :?

No offense, but I believe he's living part of his dream right now, and there's much more to come. His dreams are very much alive. We have to be patient and trust him. :)

I think you're missing the point.  The trials were a severe blow to Michael psychologically and emotionally.  Whether or not he's "living part of his dream" now, those trials delivered a severe blow that he is no doubt still recovering from now.  Even IF he's making steps towards doing something positive now, he is not close to where he should have been had that whole monstrous mess never happened.

I am also not sure Michael is 100% without problems and "living his dream" now.  He's in even more seclusion than he ever was before, he's away from his family and children (even IF he sees them on occasion, he does not see them every day, which must be devastating for him) and if he makes any moves for public improvement or what have you they must be made in secret from the shadows through puppet agents (i.e. people he trusts to know he's alive).  That is not a life Michael would ever wanted to live.  He wanted to live free and in the open, and he's been driven farther underground than before.

Yes, Michael wants to help the world.  But he also has to help HIMSELF as well, and right now I think he needs more help than ever....

Some of the video footage from TII was, allegedly, from a day - or at least a few days - before he "died".  And he was clearly and obviously recognizable in that footage.  So either the TII footage is from WAY earlier, before his appearance went "hospice", or something was up with the person being recognized by the ambulance people (i.e. it wasn't Michael).

Sorry, but if you see Michael Jackson, I don't care who you are or where you're from or how sick Michael might be, you are GOING to recognize him in about 2.5 seconds at MOST.  Michael Jackson is the most recognizable face on the planet, PERIOD.   I do not buy for a second that it is remotely possible for an LA ambulance driver to not recognize Michael Jackson the second he sees him.

I simply wish that Michael Jackson could have had another life away from the cameras and the crowds.  I wish he had had a warm loving family who cared about him and not just his money.  I wish he had had real friends who would go through hell and high water to right the wrongs seen being done or attempted to be done to him.  I wish he had had a social life with friends to get his mind off of the business side of him 24-7. And I wish he had had caring staff who regardless of Michael’s eccentricities would have demanded that they be allowed to do their jobs, like watching out for him and being wary of anybody trying to do him harm.  I wish, I wish, I wish.  I am torn between the two theories, but last week was no ball game for me.  It broke my heart, even if it had to be done.  Hearing some of the stuff just made me sad and broke my spirit.  I don’t know what to believe anymore.  I simply don’t.

This times a million.  :cry:

Hoax Videos / Re: 'SURPRISE's' New video upload from 21311KW

I hate cryptic videos.  They never really say anything, and just leave so many open holes expecting the viewer to mentally fill it in with whatever they want to fill it with.  Then they look like prophets when they're not saying a dang thing.   Not saying there's nothing interesting about any of them... but honestly, if you have something to say, just SAY IT.  Don't dangle half-truths and strings of logic around going "Oh you KNOW what this is, right?" when they could mean 10 different things.  Of COURSE we're going to see what we want to see!  That doesn't mean the person making the video knows anything deep or profound.

I want one of these people to be straight and stop dancing around the truth.   If they can't do that, they're wasting their - and our - time.

Michael / Re: Jason Malachi - on Facebook Confession!!!
« on: January 16, 2011, 06:22:57 PM »
I'll buy that it wasn't Michael on Monster, but that's about it.  Monster was the only one that never sounded like Michael to me, far enough that I doubt it was even him manipulating his voice.  Something about it just sounds.... off.

Now that the trial has started, we have to worry more about people lying in court to protect him getting charged with perjury.   That INCLUDES Michael, since he would have had to ask them to help him & thus is orchestrating said perjury.   That's a felony, people.  We can't ignore it.

I hope he's got a damn good plan up his sleeve....

I have no doubts it's all Michael on the album.

Agree. I never had any doubts that it was all MJ singing in the album. Even when I first heard Breaking News. It's all Michael.

Monster is the only one I doubt.  It sounds too much like a 20-something boyband kid trying to sound like him.   Either he REALLY distorted his voice for this, or someone else filled in gaps.

Michael Jackson News / Re: *MEGAMIND MOVIE*about MJ...coincidences??
« on: January 06, 2011, 07:25:37 PM »
Sorry, but Michael's not behind a movie where the main character hates children for 90% of it.

Not everything in Pop Culture is about Michael.  Please stop wasting your time looking for clues in places where there will quite clearly be none.  Michael has WAY bigger things to worry about... like how every person he's close to that gets called to testify in the upcoming trial, as WELL as himself, could be charged with perjury, which is a FELONY, if the fact that he's hoaxed his death becomes public knowledge.

I was looking online for information on perjury; it's consequences, examples when it's applied, etc.  California treats perjury (i.e. Willingly Lying under oath, in police testimony, etc) as a Felony.  This got me worried; now that the trial has started, people WILL be forced to lie under oath to cover for him.  Would he risk putting every person close to him of getting charged with a felony?

Even worse, I found this:

Quote
Subornation of Perjury Under California Penal Code 127 PC

California law recognizes another type of perjury -- subornation of perjury under Penal Code 127 PC. If you willfully convince or persuade someone else to commit perjury.and they do, in fact, commit perjury.you may be convicted of this offense.

Basically, this means that if Michael DOES come forward, he could be charged with a felony on top of anyone else who lied to protect him.

And what happens if they ARE convicted of perjury?
Quote
Penalties, Punishment, and Sentencing for Perjury in California

Perjury under Penal Code 118 PC is a felony. If convicted, you face two, three, or four years in the California State Prison. Depending on the circumstances, you may additionally be sentenced to

* formal probation,

* fines,

* restitution (especially if the conduct involved providing false information in connection with an application for welfare aid -- also known as "welfare fraud"), and

* community service or labor.

This is a serious issue guys, and it needs to be discussed.  We can only avoid harsh realities like this for so long...

I can't listen to the song when I click on play, nothing happen...

Same, I click on the song, it loads up in the menu bar player, but when I hit play it it highlights the "play" button then immediately goes to "stop".   Every song.  :(

Is there anywhere else that is streaming the whole album?

As for those who want the album but don't want to support Sony, you can always do what I plan to do... torrent the songs for free, then send my $12 to a children's charity in his name.   I'd rather the money go towards helping children than to fill $ony's greedy pockets.
