Quote from: "_Anna_"
I've seen that last night. I can't even express how I feel, I feel miserable. I never thought, not even in my worst nightmares, that the family would tell us we are delusional in such a cruel way. It's cruel.

If I was Jermaine I would have said it with a kind heart not that way, to hurt people. He already planted in people's heads right now the phrase "Michael would never, ever so cruelly hoax his fans". So the idea of a death hoax is already planted as "cruel" in people's minds. If Michael was to come back, people would know it was a cruel thing to do, because even if they had this opinion, Jermaine confirmed it.

This was the worst day ever in my whole life and in the last 2 years. I've never thought it would end like this. I'm only human, I can't anymore. I suffered all this time like they never imagined, like for my own brother. I can't even write too much now

Anna, I understand your reaction believe me. But don't you find that Jermaine saying these things just now is very odd. Why didn't he tell it before? The hoax forums exist since the beginning but the family never said a thing...NEVER, not even one word. Think about that. I hope your pain disappears soon.

Despite the pain Jermaine's cruel tweets provoked, I have to admit Sarahli's arguments and those of all of you who still manage to see an encouraging sign in this. I truly understand and empathize with the thoughts and feelings of Anna, my heart goes out to all believers who experience despair in these confusing times, but we really need to keep realistic and ask ourselves why now, why Jermaine and why like this, let alone the fact that the forum number of visitors exploded due to this controversy and not to some other clue we found. We are now legit because Jermaine acknowledged us by disputing our theories... God knows!

Andy

Michael Jackson News / Re: Michael - Album Leaks!
« on: December 07, 2010, 04:26:07 AM »
Quote from: "Makazradon"
I like Hold My Hand all right, but overall it sounds more like the R&B-style of Akon than MJ. It just doesn't really sound like an MJ song (Which makes sense because apparently Akon wrote it).

I like Hollywood Tonight pretty well. The bass and beat-boxing are just awesome. The chorus is kind of repetitive though. Who's that talking in the spoken part? It sounds like Jermaine...

Keep You Head Up doesn't do much for me. It just sounds like a contemporary adult track... not to mention, it's Jason Malachi (it's harder to notice than in Breaking News, but it is Malachi, 100% certainty here).

(I Like) The Way You Love Me is more of the same from the previous track. Which seems to me like a mistake, given their similarity. They could at least space them apart. It's a little better though, it has a decent beat and flute instrumentation, so there's that. But entirely forgettable. :-/

I can't really listen to Monster. It is not Michael Jackson. Period. They even had the audacity to place the yell from Scream at :42 seconds in, which only makes it more obvious that this is just an imposter. A duet of a Michael Jackson impersonator and a talentless rapper. Next track please.

Best Of Joy just sounds like a track that wouldn't make it to the cutting-room floor. It's fairly uninspired and forgettable, but at least this one is Michael.

Of course we've all been debating about Breaking News for months, but my opinion remains unchanged -- this is Jason Malachi. As I've said, listening to one of Malachi's tracks on YouTube ends the debate. It's him. But I will say, I do like this track. That's probably just a testament to MJ's talent, that I can enjoy it despite the fact that he's not singing, but I still listen to it regularly... and I try to pretend its him.

(I Can't Make It) Another Day is yet another excellent rock track. His voice just fits perfectly with heavy guitar riffs. I like Lenny Kravitz's backing vocals as well, and the background instruments are very surreal and transcendent; probably a highlight to this record. And best of all, it's the real thing.

Behind the Mask is really great as well. When the beat at :35 seconds kicked it, it made me smile. I've always loved his signature-sounding, clever unconventional pop beats. The vocals are really good, and I like the electronic aspects of the instruments heard here... it almost reminds me of modern pop, like Lady Gaga or Little Boots. The bass is really funky, too.

Much Too Soon is sad, as it quite clearly intends to be, but it's not something I'll be listening to. Ever since Dangerous, there's always been at least one or two tracks to each record that would best be classified as "filler ballads". "Michael" is no different. However, I won't fault MJ for this, as these tracks are likely a composition of scraped tracks, "posthumously" (notice the quotes) produced demos, or tracks that were intended to be released on an album later.

As far as who sings in each track...
Michael: 7 tracks
Jason: 3 tracks

I was afraid that it would be half MJ half JM, but fortunately he only poisoned three tracks. Hopefully subsequent releases won't feature JM or any other impersonators.

Very good observations and comments, Makazradon. I agree with most of your opinions on the tracks. The combination with Malachi is not random nor accidental, IMO. Michael has surely planned this for a purpose. As you also noticed, the proportion 7-3 is numerologically meaningful also. Moreover, the letters in their names (MJ-JM) are basically the same, excluding only CK from JAckSON and replacing an E with an A. Maybe this is too far-fetched, but the excluded letters create the word ECK, which means " The Life Force, the Holy Spirit, or Audible Life Current which sustains all life.", a concept of Eckankar, the Religion of the Light and Sound of God.

P.S.: Thank you, looking4truth, for posting the bootleg deluxe version ;). I love the 3 bonuses, excellent songs!

It's just a matter of time lol... I think that we have almost reached the half of the hoax schedule/plan. It's not almost the end it is almost the beginning of the new phase before the end...imo.

Nicely put, Sarahli, and it makes sense. We started this hoax in-depth understanding and the efforts to make a change at the 11th hour. If now it's 11.30 this means we are halfway to achieving our goal and to reavealing the truth. Let's just hope we now already have the wits and skills to pass the other half quicker and wiser.

TIAI & TS Discussions / Re: TS's identity and... Sony
« on: November 26, 2010, 04:06:19 AM »
I believe in TS... I don't understand why we keep pointing our attacks and directing all our frustrations towards him. He doesn't oblige us to believe him, it is our personal choice to do us, based on our will, perception and power of understanding his logic of arguments. Are we trying to convince the others who do believe that he is a fraud? If he is truly misleading us - although I really never found any solid arguments or motives to support this theory, as much as I tried - then it is our misjudgement and our personal failure in reason.. which cannot be corrected because it is integrated in our being.

Unfortunately we are still divided in the ones who believe, the ones who are confused and the ones who totally dismiss TS. But the main purpose of this forum is not TS, it is MICHAEL. Why do we keep attacking ourselves over this issue? Everyone has the right to believe what they consider to be true and real. We should stop trying to persuade the others who don't think alike to do so, this is still manipulation and pushing an ideology, from both sides. We should stick together in achieving our purpose, which is supporting Michael and descovering his message, while filtering the arguments through the personal rational sieve. If one doesn't think TS is legit then fine, there are plenty of arguments beyond TS to support the rationale of our quest, which should remain the main focus of this army. The ones who believe in TS can claim they have some extra help in understanding the hoax and its timing, without pushing their arguments to the others... remember Wilde's wise words: "Nothing that is worth knowing can be taught".

So let us bring back the LOVE and harmony to this army and use the given arguments wisely, to a better purpose than that of dissension.

Andy

Wonderful song! Absolutely amazing!

By the way, I don't know if this is the original version of the song which will (probably) be released, but in the "full versions" that I found there is this intro from Dirty Harry (1971), the famous quote of Harry Callahan: " You've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?"

Context - Movie plot:

A sadistic serial killer who calls himself "Scorpio" (Andy Robinson) murders a young woman in a San Francisco swimming pool, using a high-powered .30-06 hunting rifle from the top of 555 California Street. SFPD Inspector Harry Callahan (Clint Eastwood) finds a ransom message promising his next victims will be "a Catholic priest or a nigger" if the city does not pay $100,000. The chief of police and the Mayor (John Vernon) assign the inspector to the case.

At that same time, Callahan walks up to a local diner for breakfast and notices the getaway car. (As Callahan enters the diner, a movie marquee to the right displays the movie title: "Play Misty for Me", an Eastwood movie that coincidentally happened to be in the theatres at the same time as Dirty Harry was filmed.) When the bank alarm goes off, Callahan responds to the bank robbery in progress. The inspector—alone with his .44 Smith & Wesson Model 29 revolver—challenges one of the robbers, who lies wounded near a loaded 12 gauge Winchester Model 1912 shotgun:

I know what you’re thinking: “Did he fire six shots, or only five?” Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement, I’ve kinda lost track myself. But being this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you’ve got to ask yourself one question: “Do I feel lucky?” Well do ya, punk?

The robber surrenders rather than taking the risk. Callahan answers the question by pulling the trigger; the gun was, in fact, empty.

Interesting, huh?

TIAI ~ 2010 / Re: TIAI 11/3
« on: November 04, 2010, 08:56:04 AM »
First of all, excellent ideas Souza, I'm in all the way and I fully support this initiative. I think this is the best way to start this movement. If you allow me, I would like to add some comments to each of your great suggestions:

Quote from: "~Souza~"
1.)- I once watched a video on YouTube and I thought it was a fantastic idea. They printed a fake New York Times that made up good news, to see how people would react.

As you can see people get happy from good news, and I think good news should be published more, to bring hope and positiveness back. I don't think we should make something up, but search for the good news (that is mostly somewhere on the last page between some annoying ads), and publish them on a seperate site. One way or another we need to make sure this "good news" site is known world-wide and of course we need someone (or more than one) to manage and update this site. Mo and I have our hands full with this one, so if there are people willing and able to start such a project, shout out! If we link it to this one, we know we won't get the attention we should want, but if we make a seperate site that doesn't have Michael Jackson Death Hoax on the front page, we might get some attention and if we will get lot's of visitors on there, we might even get some income from ads which we can donate to charity. We can post the same on this website, but I think that if the two sites are linked, people would more easily click away. Once people know this is all a hoax and accept its purpose, it wouldn't be a big deal anymore, but before that, my opinion is to keep the sites seperate. We can use this forum to collect the articles, so that the one(s) managing the site can copy and paste it from here. I think that if we also publish good news about celebs (besides all other good news) instead of the gossip and slander we see on Entertainment Something etc., the chances of getting attention will even be bigger. Let me know your thoughts on it.

You are absolutely right, we shouldn't be connected to the hoax, because we will lose a lot of credibility and readers. We should aim to restore the decency and honor in journalism, bring back hope for a better world and increase the faith in good and in people generally. We need to become a brand, something connected to the Army of LOVE (It's all for L.O.V.E.), to have distinct traits, logo, objectives and strategies, like a real movement to change the world. We can write and post objective journalistic reports, have special columns in which we present dedicated people who have struggled to do something good in this world, for people, environment, humanity... We can bring awareness to critical issues in this world that are left aside by the media, we can support honorable initiatives, we can post free links and ads of charity organizations that we find as trustworthy, encouraging people to donate. We can write articles to restore the name of stars who are cruelly attacked by the media (Michael as well as others). We can try to debunk some of the BS that is posted in the media, we can try to find untold stories about simple and famous people, without searching for scandals and gossip, but for the good side of people. And this list can go on forever, because the main purpose is to be different, to be reliable, honest, decent and to bring hope instead of fear or despair.

I graduated journalism, but never practiced due to the lack of freedom of expression, decency and honor. However, I would be more than happy to write articles, columns and reports for our project and to use my abilities to this purpose. Although I must admit I have a pretty tight schedule at work, I will manage somehow to write the assigned column/article in time, if we shall go for this option (site), which I see as one of the best ways to start spreading the message.

Quote
2.)- Another idea is to open a thread where people can post their daily good deeds. I always try to do something for someone else each day, whether that is a colleague, a friend or someone at the local supermarket. I think that if people post that in a thread on the forum, it will motivate others to do the same. Even the small things like helping old people cross the street or help your colleague out when he or she is so busy they don't know where to start again.

That will be very helpful.

Quote
3.)- Just an idea when you have to organize a day at work with your colleagues. Instead of going on a survival trip, or something like that, you can do something for someone else. Here in Holland there are foundations that introduce companies to a charity where they can help out, for example taking children that are ill to the zoo, helping out on a farm where they take in abused and sick animals or taking the elderly who are lonely for a day out. Just a few examples of the possibilities. It's fun, good for the teambuilding whithin your company and most of all: you help out. Lots of volunteers rely on donations, but also hard labour is very well appreciated!

Wow, I should really suggest this to my board.

Quote
4.)- Many old people are lonely. People take in abandoned animals, adopt children that need a chance in life, but the elderly are often forgotten. Why not adopt a grandma/mother or a grandpa/father who is lonely? Visiting them once a week, doing some groceries for them, taking them out on a trip sometimes and make sure they are not alone with Christmas does a LOT for these people. I think it's shameful that so many old people who made sure we can live the lives we live today, are left behind to die alone.

This is indeed a problem, we should take more care of the elderly.

Quote
5.)- Go through your house and see if you have stuff you haven't used in ages. If you don't use it, you don't need it. Donate it to the Salvation Army, or other organisations like that. Give it to a neighbour or a friend who can use it, or sell it all and donate the money to charity. Your house will be more tidy and someone else is happy, a win-win situation. I am probably moving out of my house soon and my whole basement is full of stuff I haven't used in years. I won't take it with me but donate it to an organisation who will GIVE (not sell) the stuff to people who need it. If you know people in need yourself, go bring it yourself. The happy faces will give you a nice boost and will motivate you to do it more often.

Very true, it is really rewarding when you do that, trust me!

Quote
6.)- For those who dare and are well-spoken; contact your (old) school and ask if you can give a lecture on L.O.V.E. There are many good writers on this board and if some could write a good presentation, we could translate it into our own language and use it. We could represent a non-profit organisation with the same name as the website mentioned in point 1, and draw more attention to it. I must say I don't like to speak in public at all, but if someone would be able to present a fantastic speech, I might grow myself some balls to do it.

Good idea.

Quote
7.)- I think we should choose one or two global charities we will support on this site. Bringing attention to their work by giving them a full page on the website where we explain their work and link to their website. Because I know there are organisations that are not trustworthy, I suggest we take some from the list that Mike supported (as I assume he only gave money to organisations of which he knew would actually use the money for the good) and make a poll or something to choose one or two, so everyone (or most) will agree on it. I say we go for a charity that helps children in need. Not only because they are what Mike has been fighting for his whole life, but because they really are the future, we need to make sure they have one. If we make sure they will have proper education, a loving childhood and healthy food, the rest will get better as well. My hope is that one day we need to open a dictionary or history book to what charity was all about, because we don't need it anymore. Maybe a little too optimistic, but that is how it should be.

Very very true, as I previously said, we can post free ads on that new site and presenting the organizations in detail, to encourage involvement and create trust.

Quote
8.)- Last but not least, as we are here because of one person only, we should continue to get Mike's name cleared. I am busy translating the article of Forbes Everett Landis {You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login} to Dutch and I am going to send it, along with an intro, as a letter to every Dutch newspaper, hoping one or more will publish it. Once I finish it, I will post it in a seperate thread, so other Dutch members can use it for whatever necessary. Maybe others can find the time to do the same in their own language.

I am working on the same thing as well, translating that article into Romanian. Should we create a thread to put all the translated articles in different languages?

LOVE,
Andy

Excellent initiative everybody! I for one am truly moved by the disasters occurred in Haiti and I cannot imagine the pain and misery those people have to endure... My heart goes out to all of them and especially to the helpless children, who have been deprived of a real chance to a decent life, to education, love, happiness and everything we aim to and don't feel impossible to achieve... for them it is, sadly. Can we make a difference?

We can choose from these organizations (or others, if you find) the most effective or trustworthy ones and help in every way we can - donating money, buying products, contributing somehow to their rescue. We can bring a mild relief to their pain or at least do our best:

TMZ Articles / Re: Cirque Du Soleil -- Michael Jackson Immortalized
« on: November 04, 2010, 05:31:07 AM »
Quote from: "~Souza~"
Did anyone notice that TMZ and CduS are actually saying MJ is alive? "The legend lives on".

Quote
Meaning of legend:

–noun
1.
a nonhistorical or unverifiable story handed down by tradition from earlier times and popularly accepted as historical.
2.
the body of stories of this kind, esp. as they relate to a particular people, group, or clan: the winning of the West in American legend.
3.
an inscription, esp. on a coat of arms, on a monument, under a picture, or the like.
4.
a table on a map, chart, or the like, listing and explaining the symbols used. Compare key1 ( def. 8 ) .
5.
Numismatics . inscription ( def. 8 ) .
6.
a collection of stories about an admirable person.
7.
a person who is the center of such stories: She became a legend in her own lifetime.

8.
Archaic . a story of the life of a saint, esp. one stressing the miraculous or unrecorded deeds of the saint.
9.
Obsolete . a collection of such stories or stories like them.

Only the one in bold applies to this, because the show is not about a story or a myth, but a person. It is saying "Michael Jackson lives on". They could also have chosen "His Legacy lives on" or "His Music lives on". They chose "Legend" which means an actual living person, because as far as I remember, when someone that big dies, they often say he/she was a legend.

Indeed, Souza, every phrase they used tells us that he is actually alive. Besides "the Legend (Michael) lives on", we also have the name of the tour, which is not "Immortal", but "THE Immortal", determining not the tour, but the character, Michael: "MICHAEL JACKSON THE IMMORTAL - World Tour". HE is THE immortal, the Highlander, as in the person who is not subject to death, because he "lives on" - to live on = "to survive, to be alive, continue to live through hardship or adversity" .

Something is weird with that poster. The body seems his, the head looks different. I would love to see a HR image of this.

It does seem strange, indeed. Moreover, the text design has a peculiar trait. If you can notice, the "I" in MICHAEL and the "N" in JACKSON are different than the other letters. Moreover, they are the only letters that are glued, merged with a neighboring letter. If we put the glued letters together we get ICON... :?:
