Where is TMZ getting the idea that KJ is promoting her book on Oprah?
Do we really think Oprah would allow that? It's not part of her book club I'm sure. I don't know. There was info in some other media sources that in the interview Katherine would talk about that day Michael "passed away" and about Michael''s star childhood. Nothing about her book. Ok, tomorrow we'll see.

Register or LoginMICHAEL JACKSON’S PARENTS BACK TOGETHER...TO SUE DOCTOR are linking up to sue concert promoters and the singer’s personal doctor over his death.
The action was revealed by family lawyer Brian Oxman, who said he would file suit in Los Angeles Superior Court before Christmas.
He told the Sunday Express: “It makes no sense to have two separate cases. The issues have the same focal point so it is logical now to combine them in a joint action by Joe and Katherine Jackson against promoters AEG Live and Dr Conrad Murray.”
Family friends were stunned by the collaboration between the parents, who have led separate lives for years.
One said: “It is ironic that Michael’s death has finally brought them together. They both believe that a united action can succeed in winning tens of millions of dollars in damages.”
Oxman talked the parents into their joint action last week after Joe, 82, failed in a bid to sue Dr Murray in a “wrongful death” suit in a federal court. This is the same legal action that won relatives of O J Simpson’s victims a record £20.6million jury damages award in February 1997.
Last week, however, a judge ruled the Jackson case must be heard in a local court. The decision prompted Oxman to plead with the Jacksons to merge their suits at the Los Angeles court where Katherine, 80, had an action pending against AEG Live.
The family matriarch has accused the promoter of her son’s planned 50-gig This Is It swansong at London’s O2 Arena of failing to give Dr Murray life-saving equipment and failing properly to oversee the heart specialist.

TMZ in today's articles except the one about Prince's symbol promote tomorrow's Oprah TV interview. She's appearing on "Oprah" Monday to push the book Also, bad new for Oprah ... she might not have a viewer in La Toya for O's big Jackson episode tomorrow. Howard Mann has inserted himself right smack in the middle of Katherine Jackson's business deals, including the Oprah appearance in which Katherine is pitching her book about MJ.

Calif. court hears Jackson dad's estate appeal
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Michael Jackson's father was "grievously wronged" by a probate court that decided last year not to let him try to replace the administrators of his son's estate, an attorney argued Wednesday.
The arguments by attorney Brian Oxman, who represents Joe Jackson, were heard by a three–judge panel of the California Second District Court of Appeal after a probate judge ruled last November that Joe Jackson did not have standing to intervene in the matter.
The appeals panel did not issue a ruling but did question the legal steps Joe Jackson had taken after being left out of his son's will and whether the moves warranted revisiting the challenge to the administrators.
Associate Justice Laurie D. Zelon asked why Joe Jackson had withdrawn a petition to receive a monthly stipend from the estate before the probate court had a chance to rule on the request.
Oxman said the petition had seemed duplicative after Joe Jackson filed a wrongful death lawsuit in June against a doctor who has pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter in the death of the pop star.
Attorney Howard Weitzman, who represents the estate, countered that pursuing the stipend petition would allow Joe Jackson to be questioned under oath about various other matters.
Zelon also noted that Oxman hadn't told the probate court that his client was considering the wrongful death lawsuit.
"I must beg this court's forgiveness. I must beg the probate court's forgiveness. The magic words 'wrongful death' did not pass my lips," Oxman said.
Associate Justice Fred Woods questioned why Joe Jackson hadn't filed a creditor's claim with the estate, since he has claimed his son supported him financially throughout his life.
Oxman said there was never a contract between Michael Jackson and his father for assistance.
Attorneys for Jackson's estate reminded the appeals panel that the singer had omitted his father from his will and he was not considered a beneficiary of the estate.
"He is not an heir," estate attorney Howard Weitzman told the panel in brief remarks.
Attorneys for the singer's mother, Katherine Jackson, and his three children also argued against Joe Jackson's petition.
Michael Jackson's will appointed attorney John Branca and music executive and family friend John McClain to oversee the pop singer's estate, which has earned tens of millions of dollars since Jackson's death in June 2009 at age 50.

How I would like to receive news about Michael, of TMZ, but not related of death / cemetery .. It's all very sad .. :cry: It looks like a blasphemy for me to take money at the cemetry for leaving the gifts, :? but as it's a hoax and MJ is alive and he isn't there, then what for to do all this? To earn money for FL or whatever?

and Cali Swag said one of MJ's family members went to their studio, but they don't know exactly who it is. THIS IS WEIRD! exactly, how the hell they gonna meet family member and dont know who he or she is :lol:And they didn't know his name :lol:

We've learned that Murray will not be attending the one-year anniversary memorial service on June 25 at Forest Lawn being organized by Randy Jackson. Our source tells us: " He's going to be mourning privately. Dr. Murray has visited Michael numerous times at Forest Lawn, but he doesn't want to distract any attention away from the family's grieving process ... especially on that day." Dr. Conrad Murray's preliminary hearing has been set for August 23. Update: 9:30am - Randy is currently undergoing stress tests.
