Did Michael know something about the ACTA agreement most of the countries are going to sign tomorrow?
Uploading and dowlnoading most of the copyrightd material will be illegal... Corporation will be able to search every computer in search of infringement..
Maybe therefore Michael said "We've got four years to get it right"? Maybe that's why he said "This is it" - the final curtain call - because after introducing ACTA internet will not be as free as it was and pulling a stunt like "Death Hoax" will not be possible?
What are your thoughts?

Charities / Globe Live - Michael's fans are trying to make that change
« on: November 24, 2011, 04:51:35 PM »
My friend, a huge Michael Jackson fan has launched a non profit organisation. I hope it's a right place to post it...
This is what they say about their mission:

Quote
The idea of creating a new non profit Organization came at the end of 2009, shortly after the premiere of This Is It, Michael Jackson’s movie. Overwhelmed by the happenings that touched us all that year, Michaels passing, many Michaels fans had also a real wake up call what comes to the state of our Planet and our responsibilities for all beings living here.

First people who started to build up Globe Live, were all Michael Jackson fans thrown together on a public forum trying to figure out what had happened to this extraordinary human being. Some uncovered things about MJ the first time, things that brought tears to many eyes; not only was he the greatest entertainer, but also an exceptional humanitarian. Of course this inspired many to get out there and do their part, it all counts, every little smile, every little gesture, nothing is wasted. For some of us the call to do more have lifted us to heights never before felt, Michael Jackson’s fight for a better world has inspired us to bring this on a global scale.
Even out of tragedy, he has continued to inspire, and has kept us together even though we are from different parts of the world, to fulfill this dream of a better place.

After launching the appeal to found a new organization to give all the possibility to start acting for the message, many people presented their willingness to help, but few had the perseverance to continue with the project. From the initial steering group, three remained: Laura (Finland), Tariana (Brazil), and Suzanne (Canada).

After almost two years, fighting to manage our time with our family, career, and volunteering our time, talent and hope to develop the project, on 17th of June 2010 the Globe Live organization was finally created, initially serving in the countries of its founders. By the time of publishing the website, 26th of August 2011 everything was ready for starting to promote the Organization more widely and spreading the word both to MJ fans and to every single heart throughout the World.

Globe Live is an International nonprofit Organization dedicated to educate society about things people can do to make the world a better place to live. We work in four different areas: environmental preservation and Children’s, Human, and Animal rights.
Globe Live is founded in 2010 and registered to National Board of Patents and Registration of Finland 1st of July 2011.

We believe in every Citizens right to act and right to speak their mind. It's actually more than just a right: it's our obligation to to take action if we see injustice. Change is possible if we have the will and motivation to act for the issues we find important. The bigger the issue, the more time it takes to get results. But we are gonna do our share, and we welcome all new members to do the same!

We share a vison of a better World. A World where preserving is valued higher than excessive consumption. A World where we take responsibility of our own actions and where we don't close our eyes if we see injustice. A World without hate, without fear. A place where people see our differencies as our strength and richness. A place were we can walk hand in hand towards this goal and support each others, because we know it is not gonna be easy. But we want to do our share, because closing our eyes and hearts is not what we have been taught to do.

We are interested in co-operating with other already existing Organizations working at the same field. Please feel free to contact us if we haven't contacted You already!

“The outrageous and obviously false statements made this morning by Latoya Jackson are further examples of her willingness to say anything involving her brother for attention or money. The truth is Michael appointed John Branca and John McClain as his Executors. Their success in generating unprecedented revenues for Michael’s Estate coupled with their preserving, protecting and enhancing Michael Jackson’s legacy speaks for itself.”

What is going on here, guys?  afraid/

MJ Tributes / MJ Tribute Dot Portrait coming to an end!
« on: May 26, 2011, 07:59:04 AM »
This is what I got on my email. Did you also get it?

Attention MJ Fans! Breaking News!
Michael’s Portrait Completion Date Has Been Determined
We are pleased to announce that the final dot in Michael’s Tribute Portrait will be drawn this year, in time for his birthday, August 29, 2011. This date is exactly two years to the day from when this tribute was first opened to the public for fans all around the world to become part of this historical museum-quality art, the day after the Portrait’s official launch at a private ribbon cutting ceremony at which the first dots were drawn for Michael and his children on August 28, 2009.
The Portrait will take at least one million dots to complete, but MJTP Artist David Ilan will be drawing dots ahead of some people signing up, in an effort to get the Portrait completed in time for Michael’s birthday. However, fans can continue to join for a long time to come. After the Portrait is complete, when someone joins they will be assigned a pre-drawn dot.
If you know anyone who doesn’t have their dot yet please let them know to get it right away because anyone who signs up before August 29th will have their dot placed in Michael’s image. After August 29th the dots will be drawn somewhere within the Portrait itself, but not necessarily in the areas making up Michael’s image.
Although the Portrait will be complete, the website, the MJTP magazine, the New Generation, Linda’s blog and Michael’s Angels will all continue. We will continue to honor and celebrate Michael Jackson the man, the legend and the humanitarian.
We will be holding a ceremony to celebrate the completion of the Portrait. Details will be forthcoming as we finalize them.

Randy Jackson / Randy tried to swindle MJ out of fortune! Did you know?
« on: January 05, 2011, 05:06:53 PM »
World of Jax & robbers

Singer says his brother and pal tried to cheat him out of fortune

BY THOMAS ZAMBITO DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITER

Sunday, June 17th 2007, 4:00 AM

Jackson claims he was nearly swindled out of his fortune during his kiddie-sex trial and only the wise counsel of the Rev. Jesse Jackson and billionaire Ron Burkle saved him.

The behind-the-scenes battle over the pop star's finances is detailed in a sworn deposition he gave for a federal lawsuit scheduled to go to trial this week.

There is a possibility that Jackson himself might even be called to testify.

The seven hours of transcripts obtained by the Daily News reveal that the agitated entertainer was convinced his money woes were fueled by a cadre of disloyal advisers who stole from him while he was busy fighting criminal charges.

The Gloved One even fingered a man close to his older brother Randy as a key villain.

It was an ordeal that left Jackson bitter about the industry in which he's spent his entire life.

"It's full of sharks, charlatans and imposters," he said in testimony taken last summer in Paris.

"Because there's a lot of money involved, there's a bunch of schmucks in there," Jackson said. "It's the entertainment world, full of thieves and crooks. That's not new. Everybody knows that."

A Santa Maria, Calif., jury acquitted him of child molestation charges in June 2005, after which he retreated into the seclusion of his Neverland ranch.

But during breaks in the trial, Jackson says he was being pressured to sign off on a multimillion-dollar financing deal by Don Stabler, an associate brought in by brother Randy, his go-to guy on financial matters during much of his career.

Jackson initially took a liking to Stabler after Randy introduced them.

"He reminded me of people that live in mid-America like Indiana," Jackson testified.

Stabler was persistent, at one point during the trial sending a message through one of Jackson's Nation of Islam security guards that questioned the singer's faithfulness to his African-American heritage.

It was a sore point for someone who has denied he purposely lightened his skin.

By then, Jackson had turned to Burkle, the billionaire pal of former President Bill Clinton, for financial help. Burkle brought in Jesse Jackson, who's known Michael Jackson since his Jackson 5 days, to help with the consultation.

Burkle was calling him on the cell phone during bathroom breaks, warning him not to sign anything, Michael Jackson said.

Stabler wasn't happy, Jackson said.

"[Stabler] said, 'What's the problem? You're not down, you're with the Jews now. You're not down with blacks anymore,'" Jackson testified.

"It was unkind," Jackson added. "It was mean. It was meanspirited. It was nasty. Simply because he couldn't get me to sign something that he wanted me to sign."

The next time Jackson saw Stabler "he wanted to take my head off." And his brother Randy wasn't too happy, either.

Randy later claimed that Jackson and his staff had run up a $700,000 bill on his American Express card during the trial, which Jackson said he would repay.

It wasn't the first time that Stabler teamed with Randy in trying to get him to sign off on a deal, Jackson claimed.

At a meeting in a bungalow at the Neverland ranch, Jackson said he had his mother at his side when he fought off another proposal.

"And I vehemently told them, 'No, I am not signing this,'" Jackson recalled. "And I just remember how angry, the intensity of the anger in the room. And so they marched out."

Jackson made his comments when he was grilled by lawyers for the Hackensack, N.J., finance company that is suing the singer in Manhattan Federal Court. The firm, Prescient Acquisition, is owned by businessman Darien Dash, who claims Jackson stiffed his company out of $48 million.

According to Dash's lawyer Steven Altman, Dash was due the money for helping Jackson refinance a $272 million bank loan and secure $573 million in financing to buy out Sony's half of the Beatles' song catalogue that Jackson co-owned.

But Jackson claimed he's never heard of Dash, a cousin of hip-hop impresario Damon Dash, and doesn't remember signing any agreement.

MJ's son Prince Michael to testify in court

You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

Late King of Pop Michael Jackson's son Prince Michael could be called to court to give evidence in the star's death case.

Prince Michael, 13, is likely to be called by defence lawyers for Dr Conrad Murray, the singer's personal physician, at a pre-trial hearing due to start in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

Murray's lawyers will claim he gave Jackson only 25 milligrams of the anaesthetic propofol on the day he died in June, 2009, not the massive overdose that killed him.

They will also say Jackson added more of the drug to his intravenous drip while his doctor was in the bathroom and will try to prove the singer had a history of "self-medicating".

"What Jackson's children may have seen in the past could be crucial to the defence. If they ever, even once, saw their father administer his own drugs, it will give veracity to Dr Murray's claim," the Daily Express quoted a source as saying.

"No one wants to put any youngster through the mill like that but what those kids may have seen could be key to whether there were precedents of Jackson self-medicating," the source added.

"The likelihood is that the eldest boy alone will be questioned under oath, with his siblings spared the ordeal of having to relive the most painful memories of their lives."

David Walgren, the Deputy district attorney, said that unless "circumstances make that absolutely necessary", Jackson's kids will not be called to testify.

A family friend said last night, "Michael's mother Katherine is absolutely horrified by the prospect of Prince Michael or any of the children being forced to give evidence."

Michael / Possible theory as to the 3 Cascio tracks and SONY
« on: December 14, 2010, 06:56:29 AM »
I was thinking about this strange voice in "Breaking News", "Keep your Head Up" and "Monster" on "Michael" lately. Although I even created a thread here where I expressed my doubts as to if it is MJ or not MJ, this just dawned on me today after reading some of the "MJ fans against SONY" web pages:

I'll try to make myself clear in a few points:

1. What if this in fact IS really Michael
2. and he is of course alive
3. and he is working with SONY
4. and he even likes SONY now and is in good terms with them
5. BUT he wanted to do them a little prank - remebering the "big prank"    they once did to him
6. He altered his voice a bit
7. he planted a gossip that it's not him singing
8. the fans took this news and are now trying to boycott SONY
9. SONY is scared like sh*** that it will ruin their good name
10. Sony is trying to explain themselves so as not to ruin the $ale$ this time
11. They are trying harder to promote the album
12. The album sells like hell
13. Michael is happy and laughs in his sunny Island

Michael / Serious doubts about the 3 Cascio tracks...
« on: December 11, 2010, 06:05:14 AM »
I have some serious doubts as to "Monster", "Breaking News" and "Keep Your Head Up" like most of us. I was listening to these songs mixed among the 100%-Michael's-no-doubt songs and I was like " him, not him, him, hot him, him, not him..." I wish to start a serious discussion about thet. I already got an album - not mp3 tracks from the internet and I feel something is wrong. I do believe you are going to come backk to this thread on Dec 14th or 15th when you'll have the album in your hands.
I'm going to ennumerate my doubts and I'll ask you, my Family, for the feedback:

1. The voice on these 3 tracks lacks Michael's depth and strength. I cannnot hear the characteristic Michael lower tones (Kompare "Keep Your Head Up" and "Keep The Faith")
2. The pronunciation of some words is different (Monsta not Monster - sounds like British pronunciation to me)
3. The voice seems like a voice of a younger person
4. The mannerism of speech and accent is different
5. The voice is weak, I had an impression that somebody is pressing Michael's (or this person's) throat when he was singing... Like he was afraid to sing louder... Michaels voice is sharp like a sword, it breaks glass
6. The shaky, shivery vibrato...
7. Pronunciation of certain consonants: Michael has a special feature while saying the words like "You", "need you", "truth", the letter "t" at the end of a word... He softens these consonants in his own typical way. The whole family speaks similarly, I think they took it after Joe or Katherine. I didn't notice anything like that in these songs....
8. The falsetto is different...
9. The voice lacks this "nosey" feature (the "stuffed nose effect" - I'm not a Native English speaker - please forgive me)

Call me a lunatic or crazy but I've been listening to Michael's voice for 18 years and something is wrong to me.
Of course, I know that voice is something that changes with the age - there's, for example, a huge difference between "Destiny" Michael and "Invincible" Michael...
However, I'm not sure to what extent this change may occur...

I would like you to pay attention to Michael's/not Michael's mannerism of singing and pronouncing certain words in these three songs. I am hoping for some comparisons to appear on youtube - I'd love to hear a word by word scrutiny of specific words Michael pronounces and registers he sings in. Unfortunately I'm not able to do it myself but maybe some of you can, or at least you jump at sucha video on YT. Please, post it here.
If the experts at Sony weren't able to prove it - maybe we, the fans, can. If this is a forgery - then there must be a way to prove it somehow. Of course, I am hoping for the other result as well.. That would be much better... If my suspicions will prove to be false (if Michael himself comes out and tells it's all him - I am ready to go on my knees to Encino (I live in Europe)

Thank you for reading this thread...

Michael / Stripping the lyrics of "Hollywood Tonight"
« on: December 10, 2010, 06:24:26 PM »
What if this song was chosen to reveal the real plan of Michael???

Let's see:

Let's put "HE" instead of SHE:

Lipstick in hand
Tahitian tanned (Michael looks "tanned" on the cover of "Michael"
in HIS painted on jeans   (remember a stain on MJ's trousers in This Is It?  (wt)  )

HE dreams of fame  (as a movie producer)
HE changed his name (from Michael Jackson to simply "Michael" - or whatever else we don't know)
To one that fits the movie screen
HE's headed for the big time, that means

HE's going Hollywood
HE's going Hollywood tonight
HE's going Hollywood
HE's going Hollywood tonight
HE's going Hollywood
HE's going Hollywood tonight
It's true, that you, may never ever have that chance again

West bound Greyhound
To tinsel town
Just to pursue HES movie star dreams
HE's giving hot tricks to WOmen
just to get in
When HE was taught that that's not clean
Because HE's only fifteen (well...     Fifty... :D )

HE's going Hollywood
HE's going Hollywood tonight
HE's going Hollywood
HE's going Hollywood tonight
HE's going Hollywood
HE's going Hollywood tonight
It's true, that you, may never ever have that chance again (that chance again)

[Spoken words:]
HE gave up his life, to follow His dreams
Left behind everything, for the movie scene

Nothing more HE could want, HE was determined to follow HIS plan
HE wanted Hollywood, HE wanted it bad
Now that HE got her dream, HE became a star
It all looked so good, but only good from afar
Imprisoned in every paparazzi's camera, every guy wished they could
Now it's back to reality, for Mr. Hollywood

Ideas & Suggestion for MJDHI / Maybe we could create a new topic category?
« on: December 08, 2010, 03:00:15 PM »
I observe a lot of topics regarding the upcoming album "Michael" (I mean those especially about the songs, lyrics, videos). They fall into different categories. Maybe there should be a special category created for the topics about this album?
Just a suggestion...
