Dr. Conrad Murray will be arraigned Friday and charged with involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson -- law enforcement sources tell
TMZ. We're told Dr. Murray will turn himself in to the LAPD Friday morning. He will be booked and then taken to Airport Court in L.A., Division 144, where he will face a judge at 1:30 PM. A pool video camera and a still camera will record the event.

Excerpts from a book penned by Jermaine Jackson have been released.
THE SPIN
So it looks like Jermaine was all ready to throw dirt on Michael Jackson’s name in order to keep up with the payments for his lifetime supply of Luster’s.
Indeed, word has come out that a few years ago Jermaine was shopping around a book to three publishers; however, no one was interested.
But, that hasn’t stopped details from the book from coming.
Here you go:
“My brother is a superstar, yes. My brother is wealthy. He owns shares in Sony music. He drinks, he does drugs, he lies, he cheats, he changed his skin color and mostly, he’s human. He attracts gay men and wards off women like the plague.”
“He married a woman because she was pregnant and he was doing business with Muslims (which I am a Muslim) and Muslims won’t do business with someone who is engaged in having children without being married.
“He paid this woman, who nobody would ever look twice at, several million dollars. My brother purchased children. It is like a sanctioned black market. He is very powerful; he picked the sperm donor by using information provided by a sperm bank. Now, who can do that? Michael Jackson, that’s who, my brother.
“I have maintained my residence by my mother’s side at the family’s Hayvenhurst estate in Encino, California because I know how much I am needed there. Michael counts on me to be there as does the rest of my family.”

If Michael really did die .. and someone hired Murray to intentionally kill Michael .. then they were smart to hire a doctor to do it since doctor's are above murder??.. and if they kill someone it's automatically assumed that it was involuntary?
I don't live in the States... I live in Canada.. I am aware that your justice system is much harsher then the Canadian system.. so maybe I am jumping to conclusions.. what type of prison sentence ( if any) would someone receive for Involuntary Manslaughter?

ABC news is reporting the following:
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - The Los Angeles prosecutor's office on Friday said it has not yet decided whether to charge Michael Jackson's doctor with a crime in the pop singer's sudden death by cardiac arrest last June.
"We have nothing pending. No decision has been made and nothing has been filed," said a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office. She declined further comment.
Earlier on Friday, celebrity website TMZ.com cited unnamed law enforcement sources as saying Los Angeles police concluded their final investigation in late December and would send their findings to the Los Angeles district attorney within weeks to determine whether to file criminal charges.
TMZ and other publications, also citing unnamed sources, said prosecutors may charge Dr. Conrad Murray with involuntary manslaughter due to gross negligence in his treatment of the "Thriller" singer, to whom the doctor administered the powerful anesthetic propofol before his death.
Jackson, 50, died on June 25 in Los Angeles, and the county coroner's office has ruled the death a homicide by drug overdose, determining that propofol and the sedative Lorazepam were the main drugs that caused his death.
Speculation about a possible charge against Murray has been brewing for months. Murray, a cardiologist with offices in Houston and Las Vegas, was hired to care for Jackson while the singer prepared for a series of comeback concerts.
Murray has told investigators he was not the first doctor to give Jackson propofol, according to court records.

The grand Michael Jackson memorial in Los Angeles last July reportedly cost the cash-strapped city millions of dollars in police overtime and sanitation expenses, and now one angry resident wants the King of Pop’s family to foot the bill. According to the AP, Jose F. Vallejo is seeking $3.3 million from Jackson’s estate, saying he’s entitled to request the funds as a taxpayer. He’s requested that the money be deposited into Los Angeles’ treasury.

While the memorial cost the city millions, it reportedly earned $4 million for the city’s hotels, restaurants and local businesses, too. However, in his claim Vallejo alleges, “The [Jackson] estate benefited from the use of public resources that amounted to an illegal gift of public funds.” The city of Los Angeles and AEG Live, the organizers of the memorial and Jackson’s planned This Is It concerts in London, have reportedly been in talks to repay the city some of the costs but according to the AP no agreement has yet been reached. At one point, L.A. mayor Antonio Villaraigosa’s office launched a Website seeking public donations to help ease the city’s financial burden in paying for the memorial.
As Rolling Stone previously reported, the Jackson memorial featured performances by Mariah Carey, John Mayer, Stevie Wonder and newcomers like Judith Hill and Shaheen Jafargholi. According to the AP, the administrators of Jackson’s estate will decide whether Vallejo’s claims merit payment.

Troubled U.S. star Michael Jackson has converted to Islam and changed his name to Mikaeel, press reports said Friday.
A conversion ceremony was held at a Los Angeles mansion where Jackson was seen wearing 'Islamic garb' and declaring his new faith, British tabloid The Sun quoted an unnamed source as saying.
Jackson reportedly took the shahada—the Islamic declaration of belief—and became a Muslim, just days before he was due in a London court where he is being sued by a Bahraini prince.
The paper reported that British singer Yousef Islam—previously known as Cat Stevens before he famously became a Muslim—was also at the ceremony held at the Hollywood Hills home of Toto keyboard player Steve Porcaro, 51, who composed music on Jackson's Thriller album.
Jackson's new name is reportedly Mikaeel after he rejected the name Mustafa, the paper said, adding the decision to convert came about as Jackson was recording a new album.
The former 'King of Pop'—who has been accused and acquitted of child molestation—is back in court after Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Khalifa, the second son of the king of Bahrain, accused Jackson of owing him $7 million and said the star breached an agreement to record a new album.
If this is true.. could Mikaeel be Michael's legal name now? and odd.. we just listened to Cat's song about Michael .. weird

I was looking through some old news articles about Michael ..This one from November 2008 states:
On Friday, Jackson's former personal assistant Grace Rwaramba gave evidence in the High Court saying that the sheik referred to the singer as his brother and was a generous friend, eager to give him money and other gifts. Miss Rwaramba said Al Khalifa made several large payments into her bank account that were intended for Jackson, who did not have one of his own, but insisted that he never suggested any of the money would have to be paid back.
and why on earth would he deposit large sums of money into Grace's bank account? Michael didn't have a bank account?

They have released Brittany's death certificate.. has anyone checked it against Michael's yet? I wanted to post it first.. I haven't had a chance to search for Michael's yet! You are not allowed to view links.

December 28, 2009, (Sawf News) - Michael Jackson's brothers - Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Randy - and sister Janet are listed amidst possible creditors of his estate, according to document obtained by TMZ.
The amounts owed to them are not specified in the documents.
Estate lawyer Howard Weitzman told TMZ that the brothers have an ongoing royalties claim.
Janet is known to have advanced money for Michael Jackson's funeral on September 4, which reportedly cost $1 million.

Considering the number of death hoaxes that float across the Internet and Twitter, it is no wonder that a rumor has started about a Brittany Murphy death hoax. It is quite shocking to see a young, 32-year-old woman die of cardiac arrest, and rare, in fact, so a hoax would not be unheard of, but unfortunately for fans, Brittany Murphy is indeed dead.
These sorts of fake stories, such as Miley Cyrus dying (which is quite popular) or Britney Spears dying (another popular one) are quite common on Twitter or the Internet. In terms of a Brittany Murphy death hoax, it doesn't pan out.
There have been multiple reports of Brittany Murphy's death via major media outlets. There has also been a report from the LA coroner saying that the death appears to be "natural," at least for now. That came via a press conference, so a Brittany Murphy death hoax isn't possible.
In other words ... It is possible for Michaels to be a hoax?

I was thinking that we should keep track of the differences between how Brittany Murphy and Michael's deaths are handled..
I found this one already :
A spokesperson for Cedars Sinai Medical Center told People magazine that Murphy died at the facility Sunday at 10:04 a.m. PST. The actress's rep, Nicole Perna, also confirmed the news, releasing a statement Sunday afternoon that said: "In this time of sadness, the family thanks you for your love and support. It is their wish that you respect their privacy."

Can we interest you in a little light reading? The documents will relate to his 1993 and 2004 child molestation cases -- as well as any case Michael Jackson was the victim of ... including threats and extortion attempts. Nothing about Dr. Conrad Murray or Michael's death will be in the files. Our guess -- the extortion attempts will be the most interesting. The FBI did a similar thing back in October concerning files involving Anna Nicole Smith and a possible plot to kill the son of her 89-year-old husband, J. Howard Marshall II.

The Jacksons have kept the details of their family service private – but now intimate scenes showing them saying goodbye to the King of Pop are to be shown as part of the family's new reality TV show, according to reports.
In the footage, Janet, dressed in black and clearly struggling with emotion, is seen being shown to her chair while Michael's parents Katherine and Joe look on anxiously.
The rest of the family is also seen gathering around as the music legend’s coffin is brought in for them to pay their final respects.
The emotional moments play a pivotal role in The Jack5ons: A Family Dynasty, the new reality show following the four surviving members of The Jackson 5, Jermaine, Tito, Jackie and Marlon.
Filming for the show started before Jackson’s death in June and was meant to follow the brothers as they planned a comeback to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the band.
But the pop icon died as they were finishing the first episode.
The brothers are shown talking about their loss at the start of episode two – with Jermaine and Jackie both breaking down in tears.
'It is very hard for me,' Jackie said, as he recalled getting the news. 'I called my mum, she told me it was true. She was screaming on the phone, hollering, crying.'
Jermaine added: 'Michael is a bright light who has been shining our whole lives. We don't feel the light has been turned off – we just feel that light is brighter.'
Haven't we seen the footage they are refering to in this interview?
