Twitter ~ Verified Accounts / TMZ - official twitter
« on: March 31, 2011, 02:32:53 PM »
TMZ just tweeted that the Jacksons were insulted about comment made by American Idol contestant. That must be in regards to the Pepsi incident comment James Durbin made.  Now, it was not insulting, and it was interesting now many references there were re Michael on yesterday's show. My guess is thatTMZ is calling attention to the comment more than anything else.  Again, they hereby link Michael and American Idol (as so many times in the past).

I can't paste the exact tweet or article as iPad won't let me- but here is the twitter link:

I Know this was reported before- just curious that it popped up again in google news updates. I thought it was cute that they mentioned plans for Neverland are on hold until the Estate decides how it should be used. HA! Or till Michael comes back!

Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch Under Restoration
Filed under: buildings and construction, cars-houses — Michael dEstries @ 1:10 pm
March 28

A small update on the state of Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch has surfaced – giving hope that the entire estate isn’t just being left to rot.

According to Colony Capital’s Tom Barrack, whose firm owns part of the rights to the 2,800 acre spread, the late Jackson’s former home is being well looked after.

“Our plans have been to work to restore it to its original greatness,” he told Bloomberg TV. “The place is amazing. It has not only the beautiful spirit and softness of Michael, but a legacy of a thousand years of Indian culture that had transacted upon it. We have just been restoring it, renovating it.”

Barrack added that they have no plans to commercialize the property and are simply in a holding pattern until Michael Jackson’s estate figures out what direction they would like to take the ranch in. As we reported last November, Michael’s children are in agreement that the place become ‘some kind of community park and center for animals’.

So, hang in there MJ fans. You may yet get to visit Neverland.

Since we have Eliza on here I thought I'd add another "Presley."  Riley and Benjamin were very close to Michael- and according to Ben, were still at Neverland quite often after their mother and MJ divorced.  Well- that and Lisa had the kids with her in her trips around the world from 97-99 when she visited Michael.

Now, I only have followed her for a couple of days and there has not been anything interesting till tonight:

Teddy Riley / insider "Jacks Facts" on Fb About Teddy Riley
« on: March 01, 2011, 08:29:05 PM »
There is this so called insider on Facebook, calling himself Jacks Facts.  He won't say who he is but he wants to bring truth about Michael by showing who the "players" in Michael's life are.

He seems to have an ax to grind with some Jacksons.  I don't think this guy is in on the hoax or even knows much about it.  He did however prevent crazed followers like Moonstreet from cursing and hating on believers on his wall- and for that I credit him.  He is making sure, there is civility and no cursing fighting etc.  So, anyway....so far he has revealed some people the fans did NOT listen to and who, according to him, KNOW the vocals on "Michael" were MJ.

Today, he discussed Teddy Riley.  I posted his "facts."  Again, I dont think he is a believer or even knows much about the hoax.  BUT- what he said about Teddy is important as it confirms why Michael would trust Teddy.

Here is the link, if you are interested.

And here are the 'Facts':
TEDDY RILEY... ALWAYS AROUND... MICHAEL TRUSTED HIM.... RECONNECTED WITH MICHAEL ... WHEN TEDDY WAS HELPING AKON...
MICHAEL TRUSTED HIM SO MUCH... HE LEFT HIS CHILDERN WITH HIM...
MICHAEL DIDNT LEAVE HIS CHILDREN WITH ANYONE...
WHO LIVES ACROSS THE STREET FROM TEDDY AT THE TIME?
TARYLL JACKSON.....
TARYLL AND TEDDY WERE FRIENDS.. AND IN TYPICAL MICHAEL FASHION.. TO GET THE BEST MUSIC OUT THERE.. SONY AND THE MICHAEL JACKSON ESTATE DECIDED TO GIVE SOME OF THE SAME TRACKS TO THE SAME PRODUCERS REMEMBER THIS FOR ANOTHER POST.. AND MAY THE BEST TRACK WIN AN GO ON THE ALBUM...
AT THE TIME... NO ONE WAS ALLOWED IN THE STUDIO... AND OTHER "PRODUCERS" MADE RULES NO ONE FROM THE FAMILY OR OUTSIDERS WERE WELCOME....
TEDDY DIDNT CARE BECAUSE HE WASNT DOING THIS FOR ANYONE BUT MICHAEL... AND STARTED WORKING ON THE ALBUM IN MARVIN'S ROOM....
LONG STORY SHORT... BECAUSE OF VARIOUS REASONS TEDDY WANTED TO LEAVE MARVIN'S ROOM AND GO TO HIS OWN STUDIO... WHICH HE DID.. AND SOME OF THE CRAZINESS BEGAN..
MARVINS ROOM WAS MARVIN GAYE'S HOUSE.. THAT WAS BOUGHT BY JOHN MCCLAIN... AND IS A STUDIO DOWNSTAIRS...
SO TARYLL IS BANNED FROM THE STUDIO... AND TEDDY KEEPS BRINGING HIM IN.. AND WHAT TARYLL DOES IS HE GOES CRYING TO KATHERINE TO GET HIM BACK IN... AFTER A CALL TEDDY IS LET BACK IN.... (I think he means Taryll here---edited)

TEDDY FINISHES THE FIRST TRACK AND TARYLL IS THERE THE WHOLE TIME... DOESNT SAY A WORD ABT VOCALS. AND THE HEADS OF THE ALBUM WANT HIM TO DO MORE...
SO THEY CONTINUE TO WORK AND TEDDY DECIDES TO PUT HIM ON HT... INSTEAD OF HIMSELF BECAUSE HE THOUGHT IT WOULD BE COOL...
THEY FINISH HT... AND TARYLL WANTS TO CONTINUE TO HANG AROUND THE STUDIO.... AND TEDDY LETS HIM BC OUT OF RESPECT TO MICHAEL.. DR. FREEZE IS THERE... ETC..

OK SO THEY CONTINUE TO WORK... AND ONE DAY TARYLL SHOWS UP WITH COREY ROONEY.... PLEASE REFER TO MY CR POST... AND TEDDY IS REALLY CONFUSED BECAUSE HE WAS THERE DURING THAT TIME TOO...
TEDDY CONTINUES TO DO HIS THING... AND THE "ORIGNAL ALBUM" GETS SUBMITTED TO SONY...
ALL OF A SUDDEN AND I QUOTE HOWARD WEITZMAN... "The day after the submission and selection of the album tracks, for the very first time, the authenticity of Michael’s vocals on the Cascio tracks was questioned." SO DURING THE WHOLE TIME THEY WERE IN THE STUDIO AND TARYLL WAS THERE WORKING WITH TEDDY ON THE TRACKS THERE WAS NO QUESTIONS ABOUT VOCALS....
TEDDY CHALLENGES TARYLL ON TWITTER.. AND DEFENDS HIS POSITION... IF YOU FOLLOW TARYLL AND TEDDY... TEDDY TOLD YOU THE TRUTH... THE FANS LISTEN TO TARYLL AND TURN ON TEDDY... WHEN TARYLL LIES ABOUT THE POST ABOUT TEDDY CALLING HIM.... TEDDY GOES NUTS AND CHALLENGES EVERYTHING TARYLL SAYS...
THE FANS START SCREAMING AT TEDDY..... AND TEDDY NEEDS TO GO OUT AND PROMOTE THE ALBUM FOR HIS FRIEND MICHAEL.. DURING THESE INTERVIEWS TEDDY TOLD YOU THE TRUTH ABOUT THE ALBUM.... HE SPOKE ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE WANTING TO JUMP ON HIS LP... AND THIS IS DEEPER THAN MUSIC.. ITS ABOUT WHO THE PEOPLE ARE...
TEDDY WAS ALWAYS LOYAL TO MICHAEL...
I DONT KNOW ENOUGH ABOUT THE ALIVE COMMENTS TO GIVE YOU THE TRUTH...

BUT GO BACK AND LISTEN TO HIS INTERVIEWS HE TOLD YOU THE TRUTH....

Prince, Paris & Blanket / Prince, Paris, Blanket on Good Morning America
« on: February 24, 2011, 06:13:13 AM »
GMA just announced they will have an interview with Katerine and the children this morning - 2/24/11 (they said 2 nd hour- so after a 8 am Eastern Time). Prince is said to speak out about continuing his father's legacy. He was shown to say something like he would continue what his father started. I'm sure the summary will be on abc.com later, and I'd be surprised if TMZ doesn't pick up.

People Article.  I liked the "they are around their father 24 hours a day" quote.

Blanket, Paris and Prince Jackson

Splash News Online
FacebookTwitterE-mailEven in death, Michael Jackson is still a major presence in his children's lives.

"They are around their father 24 hours a day," Michael's brother, Jackie Jackson, told PEOPLE recently. "They have pictures in the bedroom. They talk about him all the time. They ask me stories about him. They want to know more about him."

The pop star's three kids – Prince, Paris and Prince Michael, aka Blanket – are "doing really well," Jackie said, adding that they are interested in getting into the entertainment business. Prince wants to be a director, while Paris wants to be an actress.

"I told the kids, 'You better get busy because when we were your age we were selling out concerts,' " Jackie joked, referring to the famed Jackson 5 era.

The children have embraced that era of their father's life, with Prince even donning a Jackson 5 shirt to a recent Los Angeles Lakers game he attended with Jackie. The black shirt is a part of the J5 collection that Jackson’s brothers launched.

"We had thousands of photos that had never really been seen and we wanted to make use of them," Jackie said at the MAGIC fashion convention in Las Vegas.

The clothing line, in its second season, uses images of the famed band and puts them on t-shirts, tank tops and jackets. Michael's children especially love the shirts, said Jackie.

"They like to see us as little kids," he said. "We were the same age they are and we were doing our thing."

Michael Jackson Song Catalog Will Moonwalk to Sony/ATV Publishing
You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

Exclusive: Michael Jackson, even in death, remains in the middle of the current musical chairs deals in the declining record industry.
For all these years, Michael’s MiJac Publishing has been administered by Warner Chappell, part of what is now Warner Music Group. MiJac includes not only Michael’s hits that he wrote, like “Billie Jean” and “Beat It,” but a vast number of other hits including those of Ray Charles, Curtis Mayfield, and Sly and the Family Stone.
Warner Chappell doesn’t own MiJac but it administers the rights to it and collects hefty fees. With WMG for sale, and talk of Warner Chappell being sold off, MiJac would seem like an integral part of their story.
But there’s a hitch that I can reveal to you: MiJac is leaving Warner Chappell and going to become part of Sony/ATV Music Publishing, the company that Michael Jackson’s estate co-owns with Sony and contains the Beatles catalog.
According to sources, this arrangement was written into the MiJac contract with Warner Chappell years ago. It would be triggered by the release of the next Jackson album–in this case, the recent “Michael”–and the repayment of loans.
The move by MiJac to Sony/ATV is a big deal for many reasons. With both WMG and EMI Music for sale, Sony
Sony/ATV could be kicking the tires of each company’s publishing divisions for purchase. But Warner Chappell might be less interesting to Sony ATV considering they’re already getting Mi Jac. And without MiJac, Warner Chappell–which just had a down quarter–might not look so good to other potential buyers.
What may happen now: the newer, and very hot, BMG Music Rights will likely make a play for EMI Music Publishing. EMI Music–the record company, which has the Beatles albums in its catalog–the physical albums and box sets–could then be merged with another record company like Sony Music or, more horrifyingly, Warner Music. Stay tuned.

Usher's Concert at London's O2 Arena: The Heir, Apparently
Posted on Monday, February 14, 2011 (EST)
Usher's entire concert at London's O2 Arena plays out rather like one long Michael Jackson tribute.

By Charles Thomson

February 14, 2011, (Sawf News) - Usher's entire concert at London's O2 Arena plays out rather like one long Michael Jackson tribute.

About a third of the way into his second show at London's O2 Arena, Usher takes a moment to remember Michael Jackson. "While we don't get the pleasure of seeing him perform here," he says, "I have the opportunity to pay tribute to him."

In a scene so surreal that it could have been lifted from a Monty Python sketch, a pair of silver high-topped sneakers arrives onstage, bathed in white light, via a conveyor belt. Usher spreads his arms, looks to the heavens and asks, "Do I have permission to fill these shoes?" Quite when Usher thinks he remembers seeing Michael Jackson perform in a pair of silver basketball shoes is unclear. He dances briefly to the opening refrains of Don't Stop Til You Get Enough, but that's far from the only nod to Jackson in tonight's show and as the evening wears on it becomes increasingly clear that he's not going to be filling Jackson's shoes any time soon – although not for lack of trying.
In fact, the entire concert plays out rather like one long Michael Jackson tribute. There are two references to the King of Pop before Usher has even sung a note. Shortly before he appears onstage a CGI army dances in unison on an enormous LCD screen – a clear lift from Jackson's This Is It. Then Usher rises through the floor dressed as a spaceman of sorts, lifting a helmet to reveal himself to his fans – a routine Jackson used in several incarnations throughout his career. But Usher's borrowing from Jackson doesn't stop there. The 'homages' came thick and fast all night.
Just a few songs into Usher's set, a spotlight illuminates a briefcase perched atop a stool, from which he slowly retrieves a medallion – a direct copy of an old Jackson routine used to introduce performances of Billie Jean. He leads synchronized dances in a shiny red jacket a la Beat It and Thriller. The Telegraph comments that the performance of his 2001 hit U Remind Me contains choreography "eerily mirroring Jackson's performances of The Way You Make Me Feel," and adds that other elements of the show "could have been excellent if Usher's personality – rather than that of his hero – had been allowed to shine through."
It would be unfair to dismiss the entire show on the basis of Usher's constant borrowing from Michael Jackson; the singer makes no secret of his adulation of the King of Pop. But putting the Jackson obsession to one side, something is still lacking.
There's nothing wrong with the show on a technical level. The dancing is rehearsed to the point of near perfection. The live vocals, when he bothers with them, are fairly strong, particularly on ballads like There Goes My Baby. The special effects are slick, the costume changes are brief and the pacing is fine. But what's curiously absent any sense of uniqueness.
With more than 15 years in the industry, Usher is a superstar – but his show feels distinctly ordinary; generic, even. The concert is packed with hits – Burn, Caught Up and Yeah to name just a few – but the routines are almost cliché. One feels as though when Usher hangs up his trilby at the end of the tour, Chris Brown or Jason Derulo will simply take his place and the entire production will go back on the road under another moniker. The show is so derivative that it's almost boring.
In order to play an arena, an artist must have the personality to fill it. If they don't, no amount of dancers, pyrotechnics or video interludes are going to compensate. When Prince performed at the O2 in 2007 his personality was so enormous that he made the cavernous space feel almost intimate. Conversely, one feels disassociated from Usher's performance – a problem exacerbated by the fact that he hides behind large sunglasses for much of the gig. There's so little personality on display that watching from a distance, it might as well not be Usher onstage at all.
This disconnect has been picked up on by other reviewers, too; the Telegraph complains of his 'inability to connect emotionally with his songs' while the Guardian laments the 'odd joylessness' of his performance, commenting that Usher 'emanates detachment'. The flatness of the gig is in part attributable to the amount of new material Usher performs, including Monstar, Hey Daddy, Love 'Em All and DJ Got Us Falling In Love Again. While Usher's early albums were above average, albeit not game-changing, examples of contemporary R&B, his recent output has been lackluster and after a while the songs begin to blend into one another.
Despite having a band onstage, Usher spends much of the night singing over backing tracks which often include some pre-recorded vocals and on certain numbers fans have questioned whether there are any live vocals at all. This, combined with the generic routines, results in an evening thoroughly lacking in energy or spontaneity.
The biggest difference between Usher and his hero is that despite the precision with which Michael Jackson's shows were put together, at his peak he still managed to immerse himself in the music, creating as he went and exuding a joy and energy that transferred to his audience. Usher, conversely, seems like he's coasting; the show feels like a dress rehearsal.
That said, this audience doesn't seem to care, cheering from start to finish. But much of the audience comprises shrieking girls who, one gets the distinct impression, wouldn't care if their idol came out and sang nursery rhymes just as long as he took his top off while he did it. For the record, Usher takes his top off twice during the evening, strutting around the stage and curling his top lip at various women in the front rows. The audience laps it up.
Tweens dazzled by elaborate dance routines, unfulfilled men who live vicariously through Usher's womanizer image, and women impressed by sculpted torsos will all find plenty to love here. Those seeking a raw, honest live music experience will be less impressed.

Pictures & Videos of Michael / Michael: A subtle black revolutionary
« on: February 02, 2011, 07:10:53 AM »
Interesting piece I saw on Facebook this morning regardng Michael's impact on racial relations and breaking racial boundaries.

It does not relate directly to the hoax- but I found it interesting how the author/commentator points out that he did not have those deep thoughts about Michael and his impact on race relations until AFTER his death.  I do not think he is alone by far.  Not many bothered to look beyond the surface.  And while I do not think this was the main objective of the hoax (as I believe Michael's life was litterally in danger)- I do think it is one of the beneficial side-effect and opened eyes.
Btw- Note: the author has not learned enough- calling him Michael JOSEPH Jackson.  But oh well...

Ok, I tried to embedd it, but I need a crash-course in embedding. I tried to just embedd the code from the side, but it always shows up as code...and I need to go to work and being late (AGAIN) due to Michaeling might start to look bad.

So, here is the link for now:

Imagine that: Feb 7th 2011, the judge will hear arguments about possibly televising the trial proceedings.

I had to laugh: are there any trial related events that do not have a glaring 7 connections?

Lisa Marie Presley / Lisa Marie Collapses
« on: January 20, 2011, 07:21:21 AM »
According to the front page of National Enquirer:

Quote
Lisa Marie Collapses! Health Secret she is hiding.

-Her shocking weight loss: 55 lbs in 5 months
-Husband races to save her after she falls to the floor.
-She flies to LA for treatment.
I have the enlarged pic, but I am an idiot about uploading it. So here is the website.

Now:
Odd things:
-Wasn't National Inquirer the rag Michael used when out with Lisa during the Ivy dinner in 1998 ("Quote: We have a secret.") And he has used them before.

-There are NO reports anywhere about any collapsing.  Yes, she is pretty private- but you would think the British tabloid industry would have been all over that (this indicates it happened in GB BEFORE she arrived here, carrying her daughter, looking pretty well).

The weightloss: first of all- there is a triple 5.  Then, it reminded me of Michael's stories of weightloss and collapse rumored during TII rehearsal.

She is in LA to record and to for the courtcase (Eliza P- as we were redirected to).  Treatment? For what? Weightloss? (maybe it's dehydration and exhaustion...lol)  She has a history of having had eating disorder symptoms before, but.... (odder even: just months ago, there were tabloids about her "dying like her father" from drugs and being overweight).

Anyway- could be nothing.  Could be coincidences (and I am fresh out of believing in those these days) .  But I thought I'd add it to the data bank.  8-)

I just found this on another board and am trying to find out where the quote came from:

Quote
During the first day of private viewing Lisa Marie approached Kendall while still holding her mother’s hand and asked, “Mister Kendall can I give this to my daddy?” With that she held out her other hand to display a thin metal bracelet. In this case being only a child Kendall could deduce that Lisa Marie was terrified to touch her beloved father’s body. Kendall realised then that already in her tender innocence Lisa has an innate aversion to touching the corpse of a person she loved so very dearly. Thus it was left to Kendall who gently lifted her father’s right forearm just enough to slip the trinket into place. Lisa Marie looked down at the floor throughout the whole procedure. "Thank you, sir..." whispered Lisa Marie while walking hand in hand with Kendall until she reached her mother in the hallway. Just before she turned to walk away, Lisa Marie questioned Kendall... "Will it stay there always?.." Kendall assured her that it would be there forever.

What I found interesting was that Lisa placed something in her father's casket- which immidiately reminded me of the story LaToya told of Paris putting the half heart necklace on Michael and having to wrap it around his wrist.

Also, mayeb Lisa didn't want to touch her father because it was NOT her father and it freaked her out.  The "will it stay here forever" comment was also interesting, I thought.

The Numbers Theory / 777, return, and Immortal Connection
« on: January 15, 2011, 12:44:10 PM »
Still reading up after 2 months about symbolism of numbers and relevance to Michael, I invested some time this morning into thinking about 777 and the connection to the return.  (Moderators: I am pretty sure this has been discussed at some point- I just could not find the relevant thread- so if you need to move and or integrate into where it goes, thank you.)

We have discussed in several threads the symbolism of 777.  What I find so fascinating is that the number has such deep meaning across different religions and philosophies.  Kind of a unifying principle seems like. (I like this summary for beginners like me: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login) For example, one that caught my eye and relates to the next paragraph is: The Christ said: "I am the resurrection". In Greek, resurrection is written "h anastasiV", numbering 777 = 8+1+50+1+200+300+1+200+10+6.
Cleaning my house, I thought why don't I just figure out for fun when 777 days from June 26 2009 would land us. I thought it was so interesting and noteworthy that so much of the TII material puts the red shirt the 777 fronts and center.  The result is August 11, 2011.  Interestingly, August 11 is the beginning of the Maian Calendar according to Gregorian Calendars. (You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login) – With the end obviously being 12/21/2012.
Them I thought, hm, I know the Immortal Tour starts in summer 2011- let’s see when: 10 -2 -2011 (Oct 2, 2011)
As I now seem to habitually add up numbers (thank you, TS.. :) ) 8+1+1+2+1+1= 14  double 7
Immortal Tour Date: 1+0+2+2+1+1= 7
So, that gives us three 7 once again.
And another 7 can be found in the duration from August 11 until October 3- which is 52 days.  5+2=7
Anyway…I am well aware that I am super sensitive to 7s now- so all this could be nothing but an interesting brain exercise.  But I thought I’d share anyway.

Geraldine Hughes (who wrote Redemption- the book to uncover the truth behind the 1993 Chandler allegations) went all over the place on facebook starting yesterday.
She implies that Randy Jackson (She never comes out and says that) did not want her to speak on account of the family anymore and that they would let Oxman make a statement (I guess that means his odd tirade yesterday, 1-7).  She made the argument that she thinks MJ was dead before 8 am on June 25 since "nothing else makes sense" (well, yes, it does, - the hoax does).  I reminded her in a reply post that rigor mortis would have set in had he really died before 8, by the time the paramedics got there but for sure by the time they got to UCLA.
What gets me is this: she is so good at investigating the truth why, oh, why can she not SEE what is right there before her eyes.  Yes, it is hard to believe, but at this point, it is one of the only things that make sense.

Also, do you think, if it is true that Randy was behind her not getting to speak for the family- was that to preserve the hoax and to have Oxman rant out there- confusing everyone even more?

Geraldine also wrote about it on her blog.

This is from yesterday's facebook post. yesterday (1/7/)

Geraldine Hughes THE JACKSON TRUTH: I have been saying since the beginning of this case that Conrad Murray left the premises (completely) to meet with a call girl. I have sat inside the court room and heard the testimony of the security guards, paramedic and the AT&T records, and everybody's testimony proves this is true. (Cont'd).
Geraldine Hughes The security left after returning MJ to the residence early 1am. I was told that the overnight security falls asleep and MJ has had to go wake them up when a late night guest had to leave. The chef said she doesn't arrive until around 7am.... Murray's first phone activities began at 6:28 am. I believe that the calls he made to his clients beginning at 8am was a cover up to make it look like nothing was wrong and he was just checking up on them. I believe that somewhere around 8am, Michael Jackson was already dead and the cover up begins. That is why nothing else makes sense, why he has lied and continues to lie and even his so-called girlfriend (call girl) was such a bad witness. She was lying...!See More

In Answer to Your Questions:by Geraldine Hughes on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 4:09pm
I was told that one person in the Jackson family did not want me speaking to the press (which had nothing to do with Brian Oxman replacing me), and therefore blocked me from the court room. Although I respect his wishes, I am fully aware that I have a constitutional right of free speech and will continue to report "The Jackson Truth" via Youtube to keep the fans worldwide informed about the wrongful death of Michael Jackson.  My blog "I Regret to Inform You" was not intended to cause any type of division or create any negativity toward the Jackson family. I love Katherine & Joe Jackson and am praying for the entire family.
