Sparkles galore
From a place without roof or floor
Vistas of shimmering light

I feel amazed – and a bit afraid
Floating weightless in the sky!

Guide me to your favourite tree!
Suddenly a familiar songbird
Whispers in my ear:
Can you feel it?

I giggle as he hoists me up
beside him on a golden bough-
His dinner jacket starts to rattle
As we settle down to pretzels and prattle

No, love don't follow the rules!
I fell for a guy in love with a planet!
Lo and behold- I thought he'd never see me
Adoring from afar
The ghostly remains of a superstar.
But wait- this isn't it!
For he is ever a celestial star
Burning so steady and faithful and bright
In my world of darkness made bright.
His voice spoke only to me
or was it just my fantasy?
No, it seems he found me
One sweet summer night
A Faery Queen hiding out of sight
Who only ever wanted a heart
so warm, so true, so kind
But she got so much more-
Dancing feet, gentleness and passion
Hilarious humour and compassion.
So thank you for the invitation to this hoaxy dance!
Coaxed I am to tap chance
Upon its shoulder
Grab you round the waist and grow bolder-
Hold me,
Protect me,
Respect me,
And I will whisper sweet nothings in your ear
Lay my arms around you , Michael dear,
And when you lead I will follow
For where there is love I will be,
United with you on the bough of a hazelnut tree,

Remember The Time is my absolute favourite MJ track and this poem is in part inspired by this song- the tick tock tick tock! Also I love Break of Dawn and the walk in the park comes from there. So I threw a few more ingredients into the pot and put came this little poem, Michael!

Dangling feet off a crescent moon
Man in the mirror,
gone too soon

Soulmates together
Merry Michaeling forever
Black sock, red sock,
Tick tock, tick tock,
Remember the time frock
A pair of mismatching socks
When Applehead rocks
That familiar pose
On his toes
Wandering in the dark,
tribute moonwalk in the park,
I smile because you see
My socks of different hue
Unite you and me
In a cosmic lunar melody
Man in the mirror,
Gone too soon
I know you,
You know me,
Soulmates together

Dude on branch looks up and "See",
he winks and thinks :
"someone in the dark for me!"
Happy moonshine hugs the tree
and dude with tune
starts drumming Speechless
and a bit of Gone too soon!
Horse with glittery socks
Starts to rock and trot,
dancing and twirling in the round-
Someone that was lost is now found.
But such a surprise-
this sensual disguise!
Horse mimes and leans and prances
performing many Off the Wall dances,
A speechless canter,
A breakdance until dawn.
Then he dips his hat and hiccups:
"Hey, moonshine , your butt is mine!
