Michael Jackson News / Hard Questions
« on: June 28, 2010, 02:32:46 PM »
Another person asked if we should try another approach.
Do you think it should be wise to start asking the Jacksons, the
Estate, the Media some hard questions and no longer accept
ambiguous answers from them?
Everything so veiled, and no longer needs to be listed.
One problem I am finding is the use of the word "passed".
The first definition in the dictionary defines: "To move on or ahead;
proceed".  Tito in "Remembering Michael" also uses "passed".

WHY did the coroner or a doctor NOT come out on the steps at
UCLA and tell the public statement of "death" and autopsy reports-
when it is protocol for many less famous people.

WHY did the family not have a viewing (IF Michael died), for the fans?
Yes, that is their own private business, but that business had led others
to believe that the murder left him unrecognizable, which has led to
more fear and questions.

I have written for some answers and receive same ambiguous answers
and subtleties in search of Rockwell.  Well, the next step is talking in
person to found relatives, but is that dangerous or unwise?

While speaking of Rockwell, I also must ask and want answers to Wylie
Draper.   WHY the LATIMES have no obituary on him?  Can someone
find an obituary in the GA newspaper?  I cannot.

Common sense would tell me to delete while rational; maybe the
investigation should only draw on what the media publishes and our
response to them?

Michael Jackson News / Some Movies
« on: June 21, 2010, 07:57:22 PM »
I notice periodically we list movies of interest.  Some may have clues
or not.  Some may be for enjoyment purposes. If you have other movies,
can you list them?
Mister Lonely - about Michael Jackson impersonator in a wonderland
setting.  This is weird movie.
The Loved One - a film that spoofs Forest Lawn cemetery.
Two films with interest titles coming out in 2011 are:
Body Guard of Lies - I sorry, but I can't but think of these MJ bodyguards
but have no idea what movie actually about.
Missing William - no idea, but find it of intrigue if we change the title to
Missing Michael.    ;)

General Hoax Talk / Must WE?
« on: June 13, 2010, 12:58:20 AM »
You ever notice certain members act like they have ownership or
feel they the ONLY ones who "love" michael jackson?  That they
the ONLY ones who "really understand" or can "protect" him?
Well, Michael Jackson did not like these type of fans, he said so,
several times in interviews.
I strongly dislike FAN sites because the members wait until they
can one-up another poster like they have to PROVE they BEST.
It is so annoying plus obvious of deep-seated jealousy.
We ALL only on here to FIND the truth and it is ALL out of LOVE,
RESPECT, and the TRUTH as individuals as DEFINE by EACH
individual within their HEARTS.
Michael Jackson is the HEARTLIGHT within SO many and for SO many
years-he touch us ALL.

Michael Jackson News / Figueroa Mt. Road
« on: June 03, 2010, 10:48:43 PM »
If this has been discussed, please feel free to delete.
In a total unrelated search, I come across this Farmhouse on
Figueroa Mt. Road.  It seems all roads lead to Michael anymore,
and I remember this is Neverland Rd.
What further piqued my interest was when looking through past
events held here, I notice the events only start in 2008?
I am wondering who owns this Farmhouse and how close it is
to Neverland Ranch?  Can anyone with time or knowledge find
out?  It may be nothing related, but someone wishing to make the
extra money in wine country, but strategic placed anyway.

Dr. Conrad Murray, who has pleaded not guilty to an involuntarily manslaughter charge in the death of Michael Jackson, reportedly came to the aid of a young woman who fainted during a commercial airline flight on Saturday.
Murray helped stabilize a 23-year-old woman who passed out during a US Airways flight that departed from Houston, his spokeswoman tells Associated Press. Jackson's former doctor hooked the woman up to an IV line after detecting a weak pulse, then kept an eye on her until the jet landed in Albuquerque, his spokeswoman says.
US Airways confirmed to the AP that a doctor aboard the flight helped stabilize a patient having a medical emergency.
"He's a good doctor, we've always said he was a good doctor, and that's what good doctors do is save people," Murray's spokeswoman says. Murray was reportedly headed to L.A. to meet with his lawyers.
The young woman was traveling with an 11-month-old baby and was taken to a hospital by paramedics, says the AP.

This from someone at the Tiger Woods announcement when

Other Odd Things / Birth Records Sealed
« on: April 17, 2010, 12:44:02 AM »
If the birth records are sealed, then how do we really know
when Michael Jackson was born?
Because ages were changed when at Motown for appearance
sake-how did they explain those at the time?
If this has been posted already, please excuse or point towards
a link please.
Michael Jackson goes from 11 to 8 on some accounts, and for
other accounts there is differences of 1 year or 2 years.  :geek:

Motown publicity significantly altered the group's history, publicizing the ages of most of its band mates as younger than they were — Michael's age changed from eleven to eight to make him appear cuter — and identifying unrelated band musicians Johnny Jackson and Ronnie Rancifer as cousins of the Jacksons.

Other Odd Things / Motown Era
« on: April 05, 2010, 10:07:12 PM »
I am hoping to put this in the right place as it relates to Michael Jackson and
his life story.   I grew up with Motown because of the love of this music by my parents.

Many Motown greats were very young when they signed on, but Michael & brothers
were the youngest.  Basically, the babies at Motown.
After reading MANY articles and this one referenced, I can now understand more about
Michael and his life.   I can see from the start, the separation from the main-stream, and
yes, the control of these stars once they signed on.  The jealousy, competition within
this music business, the EARLY deaths, and the despair.  We only heard the greatness.
If you have time, please read the following article.  It references Diana Ross and Michael
Jackson and the Jackson 5.  It references a young Kerry Gordy, Kennedy Gordy and several others.

In 1969, when the Jackson Five first arrived in Los Angeles to record for Motown. While Michael's father and brothers were shuffled from one hotel to another. Michael moved in with Diana Ross. "It was a calculated thing, I wanted him to be around her," Berry Gordy once said.
Michael, at age 11, was terribly lonely living in the Ross home for the month he stayed there; he missed his mother a great deal and talked to her on the telephone incessantly, running up Diana's phone bill. Berry Gordy allegedly told Diana, "Don't worry, I'll pay the bills and charge their royalty account when they finally have a hit."
According to author J. Randy Taraborrelli, Katherine was troubled by Michael's life in the Ross household. She was concerned about Diana's Hollywood lifestyle and how it might influence her son.
Allegedly, it also bothered Katherine that Diana seemed reluctant to talk to her directly. When Katherine would telephone to check in on her 11-year-old son, she would have to allegedly talk to one of the household staff if Michael wasn't available. Diana would usually not come to the phone to talk to Katherine. Of course, Diana did not yet have any children of her own, so she could not relate to a mother's concern.

General Hoax Talk / About Ben
« on: March 23, 2010, 10:13:38 PM »
So Ben Evenstad was Michael Jackson's friend and loved to take his picture.
Are there any pictures of Michael either going to or from rehearsals taken by Ben? :?:
Where are any candid pictures taken by Ben or group during the weeks leading up
to June 25th? :?:
If someone could reference, thank you, and if not, WHY?  This would be much photo
op for Ben and friends to take Michael's picture, and instead we only have the fake
picture they took or altered.
thank you.

This Michael is pretty close!   Look at his list of assignments.
So, on this and the other thread about height, I wonder how long "Michael Jackson"
has been an "institution"?   :|
One can also be wondering if Liza Minnelli's statement meant more than what
we think at the time?

Other Odd Things / Can someone identify? Secret Burial

Secret Burial.   I cannot get sound to this video and even the video says
But, there is something odd about it.   SKIP to 4:45 and onward. There are
two or three men who stand out in this crowd.  One has sunglasses on, and
the other man has brown outfit, but his face is hidden.  In the right is another
older man reaching out and he looks of different dress attire than the others
as well.
Does anyone have more information about this?

Sorry if this has been posted, but did not see a topic after search.

I find this interesting. Most of you have probably already read at some points, but
read what Michael says about the family and the ending is VERY sad.

It was the last time I ever saw him.
Epilogue: When I was writing the Motown oral history for V.F. last year, Jermaine wanted the brothers to be a part of it. Annie Leibovitz and I didn’t want to photograph or interview the brothers without Michael. We got a message from Jermaine that we needed to contact Michael’s spokesman, Dr. Tohme Tohme, who had only a P.O.-box address somewhere in California. I wrote a letter requesting Michael’s participation. We never heard back.

Other Odd Things / "Don't read into anything"?
« on: February 13, 2010, 06:44:00 PM »
A spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department said the department assigned its robbery and homicide division to investigate the death, but the spokesman said that was because of Mr. Jackson’s celebrity.
“Don’t read into anything,” the spokesman told reporters gathered outside the Bel-Air house.

Sort of a callous odd statement.  "Only" because of Jackson's celebrity?  Uhhh, the bedroom
was left a MESS wasn't it????

Other Odd Things / Michael Jackson is an Institution
« on: February 10, 2010, 11:00:37 PM »
"Michael Jackson is an institution. He needs to be run like an institution," Tohme said.

The concerts, Phillips acknowledged, are a do-or-die moment for Jackson. "If it doesn't happen, it would be a major problem for him career-wise in a way that it hasn't been in the past," he said.

Remember this.  WHO calls a person a "institution"?   This Tohme followed MJ everywhere,
was rough with him, MJ was scared of him.  Remember the contract for the 02 shows?
Once these people started in on Michael, he was never alone for a minute.
So, that is last I say on this, but someone remember it please.

"Tell me, did you sail across the sun
Did you make it to the Milky Way... to see the lights all faded
and that heaven is overrated.
"Tell me, did the wind sweep you off your feet,
Did you finally get the chance to dance along the light of day
and head back to the Milky Way
And tell me, did Venus blow your mind
Was it everything you wanted to find..."

*but Michael, insert He instead of She.   ;)
