Other Odd Things / MJ at Ed Hardy's with Mirrors and Fans
« on: October 31, 2010, 01:08:43 AM »
There have been several threads about the photos and video of MJ shopping at Ed Hardy's with the kids and the debate about whether or not there were doubles in the store that day. I don't think so and have posted pictures more than once that show the mirrors in the store and reflections etc. This post really isn't to debate the possibility of doubles though--I'm just bringing it up because it's relevant to what I'm going to post.

I just stumbled on a site of a fan/autograph collector (and borderline stalker, if you ask me) who was in the store at Ed Hardy's with MJ that day. He was photographed with MJ and videotaped by the papz who were also there. He's the guy that was wearing the Billie Jean jacket; Michael posed with him, signed autographs etc. This guy wrote a blog post on June 25, 2010 about his meetings with Michael, getting his autographs and so forth. He also posted that he followed Michael around a lot.

He also noted something we've all talked about from time to time, which is, when did Michael move into the house on Carolwood, in Holmby Hills. He says in the blog that Michael moved to Holmby Hills in January of 2009. He also says that before that Michael was staying at the Bel Air Hotel, between October of 2008 and January, when he moved to Holmby Hills. I think most reports confirm the move into Holmby Hills, but it was just good to see the info from someone who claims to have followed him around a LOT and who isn't a reporter, etc. He's just a fan and an autograph collector. But if you're curious, you could also drop him a line and ask him about the possibility of 2 MJ's being in Ed Hardy that day.

Here's the link to the blog so that you can see and read it all for yourself.

And here are just the pics from the Ed Hardy store too..there are other pics of him with MJ on the blog, if you want to see.

Hoax Pictures / Pics Inside Gates at Carolwood
« on: October 14, 2010, 01:21:25 AM »
I just found these on Flickr while looking for some other photos. Hadn't seen them before so thought they might be of interest to others here. They are photos someone took by looking through the gates at Carolwood. I was just interested to see exactly how it looks, since all we've really seen to date are aerial shots. These were taken with an iPhone on August 10, 2010.

The Ambulance / Who and Where is Chris Weiss?
« on: April 27, 2010, 01:06:48 AM »
We all know that Christopher Weiss, along with Ben Evenstad, of NPG (National Photo Group) are responsible for the ambulance photos (and we all know there were more than 1 photo). I am always looking for more information about that photo, the ambulance, and the photographers. And I very often wonder, who is Chris Weiss...and WHERE is Chris Weiss now? Why do we not hear anything more about him? We know from the Vanity Fair article back in July that he is a former paramedic and wants to go to medical school. Did he go? Is he there now? What IS his story?!

While surfing tonight, I came across a website that was created by an L.A. paparazzo named John Shinn. He's been a pap in L.A. for around 3 years now. His website is interesting overall and worth a read. But what I found most interesting was his mention of the ambulance photo taken on June 25. Here are his comments:

After only two years working as a Hollywood paparazzo, I have come to know many of the estimated 200+ celebrity photographers who work in L.A.'s 30-mile zone. But the identity of the 'pap' above (encircled in yellow) who got the only picture of Michael Jackson inside the ambulance while he was being transported to UCLA Medical Center last Thursday, June 25, where Jackson died an hour later---remains a complete mystery to us since I do not recognize the photographer. But, nevertheless, we're happy that one of ours got the shot and how much will he make out his pictures? Estimates range from $50,000 to $150,000 assuming the lucky pap gets his universal 60% commission as a "freelancer." The biggest winner, of course, is his agency, National Photo Group. We only hope our lucky pap does not get screwed by NPG the way NPG's founders, Ben and Victor, got screwed up by their agency with their March 2007 Britney-shaving-her-head pictures. We'll just have to wait and see if that happens. "Ben (NPG owner) knows how it feels to be cheated by your agency, that's why he's been really upfront with our sales reports," an NPG photographer once told me while we were working in the Toluca Lake area. Congrats to our lucky fellow shooter!

Here is a link to the page too:

The June 25 story and photo are about 1/4 of the way down the page.

He's created a screencap of the photographer taking the infamous photo (the guy in the red shirt) and assuming it's THE photographer. Now I'm just wondering if anyone else finds it odd that another pap who has been around awhile (over 2 years at the time of the photo) doesn't have a clue who the photographer is who got that picture. He sure knows who Ben is, which means he's familiar with NPG. So why does he not know who Chris is?

This may mean absolutely nothing, but when I find something interesting like this, I just like to pass it on. And I do still wonder...where and who is Christopher Weiss?!

The Ambulance / CPR VIP Blog Post Deleted
« on: April 25, 2010, 07:40:45 PM »
I know we talk all the time about how various things online regarding June 25th and MJ's "Death" have been deleted. Videos, articles, photos...so much just vanishes. One thing I do remember us talking about (though it may have been on MJKit before the move to this blog) was a blog post by a lady on June 26. This lady is married to an LAFD fire captain, one of the ones who was there at MJ's house that day. She blogged a post called "CPR VIP"--she didn't use MJ's name, but it was clear whom she was talking about. I had that blog post bookmarked but most of her post had vanished when I went to look for it today. Only the part of it that was non-MJ-related remained.  So I Googled for its cached page, found it, and saved the entire page to my computer so that I would not lose it again. Just wanted to share the link to the cached page with you all, in case you want to save it too.

Either she decided to delete her info about MJ, or someone made her. Who knows. But I like to keep all information I find about that day (pro-hoax or otherwise), so I made sure to save the entire page this time.

Other Odd Things / The Timeline with Video
« on: December 29, 2009, 02:57:00 PM »
We all have seen the timeline for the events of June 25 on various sources. I stumbled across another one while looking for some other information and thought I would share it. It's got some good commentary, and a video at the bottom of the page to sort of sum it all up, with clips from other things we've seen before.

The Funeral, The Body & Forest Lawn / Funeral Dress Rehearsal
« on: December 21, 2009, 11:58:49 PM »
I keep reading all the posts about the funeral...the possibility of 2 funerals...fake service, etc. And every time I read this stuff I get to thinking about articles I read in September...about the dress rehearsal for the funeral. I remember thinking that it seemed rather odd to be having a dress rehearsal for a funeral. Does anyone else remember reading about that???

From ETOnline: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
The burial service to be held on Thursday, September 3 at Glendale Forest Lawn Memorial Park. ET has learned that tonight at 7:30 there will be a full dress rehearsal of the funeral ceremony with four cameras and musical performances, including Aretha Franklin.

And it's weird too, because there were lots of articles about this at the time, but a lot of them have been removed since then. There was a Yahoo News article, it's gone. So is one from the AP that I remember seeing. Why? The only links I could still find are from celeb news sites like Contact Music and ET. I dunno. Seems weird to me.

Dr. Conrad Murray / Murray, A Fake Mason?
« on: December 21, 2009, 03:52:00 PM »
I've been looking up information on Conrad Murray today. Found this information about him and the Mason group he is supposed to be a member of.
(You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login)
Dr. Conrad Murray, currently under investigation for his role in the death of rock star Michael Jackson, is ostensibly a member of what is known as the "United Most Worshipful Scottish Rite Grand Lodge of Texas, A.F.& A.M." This group has been long recognized as a BOGUS organization and they've been listed as such in several places on the web including on this site for the past 6-8 years (as of 2009).

Anyone ever seen/read this before? I find it interesting that those photos were released of him in Masonic regalia, and yet the so-called Masonic order to which he belongs is not even legitimate.

Other Odd Things / Neverland and the Estate
« on: December 21, 2009, 03:03:54 PM »
We've had questions on occasion about the work that was (and likely still is) going on at Neverland. Here's an article, dated June 13, 2009, about the work there.

I find this interesting in relation to William Bone, who currently has a clam against Michael's Estate in regard to Neverland. The information below is from this site,
You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login and was dated Octboer 9.

William Bone is suing the Jackson estate for an undisclosed amount over the proposed sale of a Santa Barbara property known as the Sycamore Valley Ranch.

Bone claims Jackson wished to buy the property from him but they could not agree on fair market value, therefore to consummate the deal an agreement of purchase was entered into on or about February 27th 1988.

Meaning, Bone accepted a lower selling price than he thought the property was worth with the agreement that when the property was resold Jackson would split the profits with him.

Another stipulation of the agreement was that Jackson would maintain the property and carry out improvements as needed, something Bone believes has not happened.

Bone claims that Jackson transferred ownership of the property to Sycamore Valley Ranch Company on November 10, 2008 and that he was not informed. He now asks that he receive his share of the profits when the property is sold, as he believes will happen.

Other Odd Things / FBI Files Will Be Released 12/22
« on: December 18, 2009, 07:43:56 PM »
OK, I got a call from the FBI earlier this evening. Was on my way out the door so didn't have time to post at the time. But here's the info. Instead of having to write and request the files, and pay for the printing costs of the files, the FBI (by way of the Freedom of Information Act) is making the files available online sometime on December 22nd. Once they are up, you can download them, print them, save them. Here's what to do so you'll know, if you want to grab them once they're available.

Go to the FBI website at You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

Scroll down to the very bottom and click on the small text link that reads, Freedom of Information Act/Privacy.

On the next page, in the column on the right side, click on the link Hot Topics.

I assume the file link(s) will appear at the top of the Hot Topics page.

Hopefully their servers can handle the traffic that day! I'm just guessing here, but I imagine there was a lot of interest in those files, or else why would they bother posting them? They'd have to do a lot of printing, considering the files total nearly 600 pages, so they probably just don't want to bother. I really don't think there will be too much interesting in them (there sure wasn't in Elvis'). But hey, you never know, right? So it doesn't hurt to have a look and see.

UCLA / UCLA Known for "Raising the Dead!"
« on: December 18, 2009, 12:41:07 AM »
Has anyone ever seen this article:

Headline: Jackson's hospital known for 'raising the dead'
UCLA Medical Center surgeon pioneered novel method of reviving patients

The article is rather long, so I'm not going to post the whole thing. Here's just the first paragraph to give you the gyst of it.

When Michael Jackson went into cardiac arrest, rescuers took him to a place known for bringing the dead back to life. A world-renowned surgeon at the UCLA Medical Center has pioneered a way to revive people that most doctors would have long written off, including a woman whose heart had stopped for 2 1/2 hours.

I just find that rather interesting, to say the least! Your thoughts?

Neverland / Horse Delivery at Neverland 2007
« on: December 11, 2009, 01:20:49 AM »
OK, this is probably not hoax related, but it's definitely odd. MJ left Neverland in 2005. It sat empty for quite some time, right? I mean, we've seen pics on the Web of the property where it was clearly unkempt, rides gone, looking very deserted. So why then, in April 2007, did some foreign fans (German maybe? I can't tell by their accents.) who visited Neverland capture video of a horse being delivered to Neverland? The gal filming even makes mention of being odd. She said something like "something's going on here, " and something about how MJ was supposed to be gone.

Like I said, probably not hoax related. But I do find it rather odd, so thought I'd share the link to the video.

Ideas & Suggestion for MJDHI / Naming Your Threads and Posting Links
« on: December 03, 2009, 03:06:22 PM »
I'd like to make a request of all members, if I may, with regard to how to name your new threads when you post them, and info regarding links to other info.

First, for the thread titles. I have a weird brain, so it may just be me that has this problem. But when I am scrolling through the list of topics, when I see a topic with a very vague or general title, I just can't recall what it was about and/or if I've read it and/or if it is something I want to read again. Examples of vague topic titles would be things like:

What is This?
Do You Know?
I Just Found This.
This is Cool.

The only way I can know what those things are about is if I read them. But I may have already read them. Might already have responded too. Or maybe it's something I didn't want/need to respond to, but I don't know unless I look at the thread. Then often times it's something I don't need to respond to anyway, so I've looked for no reason.

I just think it would be nicer (and VERY MUCH appreciated), if everyone could post threads with topic titles that are much more specific in nature. Examples:

What is This About MJ's Death Certificate?
Do You Know When Murray was Interviewed by Police?
I Just Found This about the Ambulance Photo.
This Info About Workers at Neverland is Cool!

It would REALLY be awesome if topics could be specific like that. It saves time and keeps my brain from going AWOL on me.    Plus, when we're using the Search feature of the community to look for threads that we need to find, the more specific titles would make those threads much, much easier to find.

And about threads that include links, to videos, articles, etc. I have done this myself and that's how I realized it was irritating--so I'm trying to stop doing it now! LOL But when we're posting links like that, it would be helpful if we could include a short summary of our own along with it. Instead of just posting the link and asking everyone to check it out, it would be good if we could just summarize what it's about too, so everyone will know. Sometimes we post things (like a video link or article link) and when some of us go to look at it, we're clueless as to what we're supposed to be seeing or looking for. Or sometimes we've already read or viewed whatever's there, in the past, and if we knew what it was about (from a summary) then we wouldn't need to go look at it to begin with. Know what I mean? So posting links would be great like this:

This page has an article about XXXXXXXXXX, and I think XXXXXXXXX.

Or something along those lines anyway.
Sorry to ramble on about this stuff. It's just been gnawing at me so I wanted to make a thread about it.
