Michael Jackson hologram to tour the world?
by Bang Showbiz | 20 May 2014

A hologram of Michael Jackson could be set to tour the world after a successful performance at the Billboard Music Awards. The two-year tour could make half a billion dollars.

Michael Jackson is set to tour the world again - as a hologram.

The late King of Pop, who was resurrected onstage at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night (18.05.14) thanks to advanced technology, could wow fans across the globe again five years after his death.

The producers behind the special effects extravaganza want to take their show on the road for a two-year tour and are predicted to make half a billion dollars.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper: ''It's only a matter of time before a hologram like this goes on tour. Public appetite for Michael Jackson's music has never been greater and this is a unique way of experiencing his magic.''

The hologram performance at the Billboard Music Awards follows the success of a new posthumous Michael Jackson album, 'Xscape', which recently topped the charts in the UK.

John Branca, the executor of the singer's estate, added: ''It's so important to experience Michael Jackson in a live setting. We wanted a live performance in front of a live audience.''

It took four months to put together the lavish special effects show, which saw Michael's hologram gyrate and moonwalk on stage to new song 'Slave to the Rhythm'.

The late singer's choreographers, Rich and Tone Talauega, were behind the dance moves.

Michael Jackson's Self-Professed Long Lost Son -- Going Public with DNA Evidence ... TOMORROW

3/5/2014 4:20 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Michael Jackson has a 31-year-old son -- at least that's what the man claims -- and we're told he plans to go public tomorrow with what he believes is ironclad DNA evidence.

His name is Brandon Howard -- the son of singer Miki Howard, whom Joe Jackson represented back in the 1980s.

Sources close to Brandon tell us, Miki and MJ met in 1982 and Brandon was born soon after.
Brandon grew up in Cleveland and now lives in Miami.  He's now a singer who goes by the name B Howard.  And he's had some success.  We're told he's part of a new Akon song.

As for why B Howard is so sure he's MJ's son ... our sources say he somehow acquired DNA from an old orthodontic device worn by Michael ... it's unclear how he got hold of it, but we're told the test results show a match.

The results will be unveiled Thursday on FilmOn.com.

Oh yeah ... once the DNA results are revealed, he plans to go after the MJ Estate for money.

Estate lawyer Howard Weitzman tells TMZ, "We've never even heard from him," adding, "Any deadline for claiming to be Michael's child has long since passed."

Check out the music video B Howard released in 2011 -- in which he blatantly bites MJ's dance moves and vocals.

Jackson Family Offered 10-City Reunion Tour — Millions On The Table!

Posted on Dec 19, 2013 @ 3:53AM | By Jen Heger - Assistant Managing Editor

Is there a Jackson family reunion tour in the works?

According to documents exclusively obtained by RadarOnline.com, the family — including Jermaine Jackson, Randy Jackson, Marlon Jackson, Tito Jackson, Janet Jackson, La Toya Jackson and Reba Jackson — has been offered millions upon millions of dollars by AllGood Entertainment to embark on a 10-city tour tentatively titled, The Jacksons Family Reunion.

Read The Exclusive Documents

If all parties agree to the terms of the contract, they stand to make a $1 million deposit each and 40% “of the net income generated from the commercial exploitation” of the company.

In a letter dated Dec. 10 to Jermaine from AllGood’s CEO, Patrick Allocco, he reveals that a deal was already in the works for a Jackson reunion tour before Michael‘s tragic death in June, 2009 — which may be appealing to the family now given their current financial state.

“As you know, we made an offer in 2009 and I’ve received the go-ahead to put forth the same offer as we understand the family may be undergoing temporary financial hardships and know that this tour is the way out of it forever,” Allocco wrote.

“Our offer is for ten cities in the U.S., an option for 10 cities in Europe plus we have additional offers for Australia (Jan. 2 in Melbourne ), Beijing, Shanghai, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Guangzhou and Seoul.”

And it sounds like the Jackson family may have several offers on the table!

“This past weekend, one of our ‘honest brokers’ told me that there was a private meeting between four of the five brothers and a London based promoter who was bringing $4 million in cashier’s checks to each family member for a 10 city tour of the U.S., Europe and China,” Allocco revealed.

“I have my reasons to doubt the veracity of that statement.”

Included in the 16-section agreement are clauses that state the Jackson family will “be responsible for arranging and providing, at Artists’ sole expense:

(a) each Entertainer’s, each Sideperson’s, and the Entourage’s intercity and intracity transportation to and from the city and specific venue of each Event, including without limitation ground transportation to and from airports, to and from hotels, and to and from Event venues, as well as any extraneous interim travel.

“(b), all of Artist’s, each Sideperson’s, and the Entourage’s hotel accommodations, food, and related services.”

Not mentioned whatsoever in any of the contracts for pitches is Jackson patriarch Joe, who has been working to release a documentary titled The Architect — but it’s on hold because film distributors “despised” the focal point of the piece.

AEG ~ Sony / Michael's handwritten notes from Jackson - AEG trial motions
« on: September 11, 2013, 04:03:28 AM »

The following are Michael's handwritten notes previously mentioned by Taj Jackson. Currently there's an AEG motion stating that Jacksons want to use these notes during their closing statements and AEG is arguing these notes are hearsay and should not be allowed to be used. Some notes were added as exhibits to the motion.

Ivy also typed out the notes, for better understanding. Please refer to link:

Two AEG Officials Dismissed From Michael Jackson Case
Concert promoter AEG will remain a defendant in the case involving the King of Pop's 2009 death
By Jonathan Lloyd and Gordon Tokumatsu
|  Monday, Sep 9, 2013  |  Updated 12:03 PM PDT

Two AEG executives who promoted Michael Jackson's comeback tour before his June 2009 death will have the case against them thrown out, according to a ruling issued Monday by a Los Angeles Superior Court judge.

Concert promoter AEG Live will remain as a defendant in the trial, which has entered its fifth month.

Jackson's mother and three children filed a lawsuit against AEG Live, Chief Executive Randy Phillips and executive Paul Gongaware. Both men testified earlier in the trial for several days.

The judge ruled that lawyers for Katherine Jackson did not prove claims that Phillips, CEO of AEG Live LLC, and promoter Gongaware could be held responsible the death of the pop star. The family's attorneys have attacked the company officials, arguing they missed warning signs about the superstar's health and created a conflict of interest for his physician.

The lawsuit alleges that AEG hired and was responsible for Conrad Murray, who delivered a fatal dose of the anesthetic propofol to help the pop star with his insomnia as he prepared for his "This Is It" tour. Jackson's family alleges that AEG did not properly investigate Murray.

An attorney for Jackson's family called the impact of Monday's ruling "negligible."

But AEG claims Jackson hired Murray, sentenced to four years in prison for the singer's death after his involuntary manslaughter conviction, as his personal physician.

The trial has included testimony from Jackson family members, AEG officials and doctors.

Unreleased Victory Tour footage leaks online!
by DAMIEN SHIELDS posted on SEPTEMBER 1, 2013

Around six minutes of unreleased footage of Michael Jackson and The Jacksons performing during their legendary Victory Tour has leaked online.

The footage, uploaded to YouTube by a fan, showcases The Jacksons’ performing one of three shows at the Canadian National Exhibition Stadium in Toronto in early October, 1984.

The Victory tour, which consisted of 55 concerts across the U.S and Canada between July and December 1984, is one of the most highly sought-after items in the Jackson fan community. There are several low quality copies of different shows available on YouTube, however to date there has been no official release of the Victory Tour on any format.

The recently leaked footage, seen below, seems to be of a very high quality and is professionally edited.

Interesting comment below the article:

According to J. Randy Taraborrelli (who’s info is not always accurate), the Jacksons had an offer to film their show & release it on video. Michael didn’t want this done. According to Taraborrelli, Michael had the show videotaped on his own but never released a copy. This “teaser” looks like it comes from this never-before-released video. I have seen the Jacksons in concert twice. They put on an amazing show. However, never having had the priviledge of seeing Michael perform live with his brothers, I would love for this to be released to the public. Interesting though, how this is suddenly available after Michael’s passing. Curious has to whose hands it’s in.

So where did that come from?
In any case I think it´s interesting to see this footage. Wonder if there is more to come.

Call The Doctor! Or, He’ll Call You: Michael Jackson’s Death Doctor Has Private Telephone In Jail Cell

The man convicted of the involuntary manslaughter death of Michael Jackson, Dr. Conrad Murray, has been granted a personal cell phone to use while serving his four-year sentence behind bars, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

“The phone can’t receive any incoming phone calls, but Dr. Murray can place collect calls to anyone he wants,” a source with knowledge of the situation confirmed.

The stunning and surprising insight into his life in jail explains how Dr. Murray was able to call CNN’s Anderson Cooper for a live jailhouse interview on April 2 in which he serenaded the newsman with a rendition of Nat King Cole’s The Little Boy That Santa Claus Forgot.

The unexpected cell phone privilege is also how Dr. Murray, who 12 jurors unanimously agreed in Nov. 2011 was solely responsible for causing Jackson’s death by administering a deadly dose of the powerful sedative Propofol, was able to call into NBC’s TODAY.

“Dr. Murray was given a phone because of the resources it would take to take him out of his cell to take him to the pay phone were just tapping the already very limited jail resources,” said the source.

“He is on his phone 24/7, typically calling his baby mama, Nicole Alvarez, along with his attorney.”

The disgraced cardiologist isn’t housed in the general population of the Los Angeles County jail because he is considered a “high value target” by other inmates because of his role in Jackson’s 2009 death.

So, one law enforcement source told RadarOnline.com, “It was just easier to give him a phone.”

But jail officials didn’t expect that Dr. Murray or his associates would somehow profit from the phone, as was believed to have occurred recently.

His girlfriend, Alvrez, recently sold a voicemail message from the doctor in which he complained to a tabloid website about not being able to sleep, in order to pay her rent.

During the message, Murray cried: “I can’t sleep now, it’s very hard, I’m in constant pain. Can someone please help me? I can’t use my hands anymore. I have no more use of my arms.”

Said the source: “Clearly complaining about having ‘explosive diarrhea’ has paid off for the doctor!”

“He is manipulating the system and is able to call media outlets all while he continues to accept zero responsibility for Jackson’s death.

“It’s absolutely insulting that someone convicted of the death of another human being is able to have a phone at his disposal to use whenever he wants.”

Michael Jackson's famous daughter/plaintiff, Paris Jackson, spent time with her biological mom Debbie Rowe, on the eve of what promises to be a very difficult wrongful death trial.

As we first reported ... Paris has bonded with Debbie after years of separation.  The 2 are spending a lot of time together, and we're told both genuinely want the mother-daughter relationship they never had while Michael was alive.

Speaking of Michael, the family's wrongful death trial kicks off today.  Katherine Jackson and MJ's 3 kids are suing AEG Live, claiming the company was negligent in hiring and supervising Dr. Conrad Murray -- who killed the singer with a massive overdose of Propofol.

MJ's family will have an extremely difficult time winning this case, for the following reasons:

-- MJ had a doctor-patient relationship with Murray before AEG came into the picture.  Jackson first hired Murray to treat his kids, and then used him for personal issues.  Murray had given Jackson Propofol before AEG was involved.

-- MJ was a drug addict who had doctor-shopped for Propofol for well over a decade.  He knew the drug so well, he often wanted to help in the administration of the drug.

-- MJ was secretive about his relationship with Murray, never telling anyone from AEG or the "This Is It" honchos that Murray was fueling him with Propofol almost every night for 2 months.

-- AEG execs are not doctors, and arguably they're in no position to tell a doctor what to do.

We'll be in court for the opening statements, so stay tuned.

No live coverage of Michael Jackson-AEG trial, judge rules

By Jeff Gottlieb
April 5, 2013, 5:43 p.m.

A Superior Court judge ruled Friday that there will be no live television coverage of the wrongful death suit that Michael Jackson’s mother and children filed against Anschutz Entertainment Group, the entertainment giant that was promoting Jackson’s ill-fated comeback tour.

CNN and NBCUniversal Television Group had filed a motion asking that they be allowed to televise the trial, which is being held in a downtown Los Angeles courtroom.

In her ruling, Judge Yvette M. Palazuelos wrote that while the media has the right to cover public court hearings, it is up to the judge to decide whether to allow TV coverage.

Brian Panish, the attorney for Katherine Jackson, Michael Joseph Jackson Jr., Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince Michael Jackson II, declined comment.

But Panish had supported television coverage in an April 2 court filing in which he criticized AEG’s attorney for “making numerous unrelated and disparaging remarks about Michael Jackson” in a CNN interview.

AEG’s attorney, Marvin Putnam, could not be reached for comment.

Jury selection in the case began Tuesday, with potential jurors being asked if they could take off the four months the trial is expected to last. Questioning of potential jurors who pass that first test is scheduled to start April 15.

The suit alleges that AEG negligently hired and supervised Dr. Conrad Murray, who -- in an attempt to help the singer sleep -- gave him a fatal dose of the surgical anesthetic propofol.  They suit says that AEG pushed Jackson to prepare for a tour that he was not physically capable of handling.

AEG says it was Jackson’s decision to hire Murray, and that the company had recommended a British physician.

Jackson died in 2009, two weeks before his "This Is It" tour was scheduled to debut in London.

Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in 2011.

TMZ Articles / MICHAEL JACKSON DRUG ADDICT ON TRIAL
« on: April 02, 2013, 09:30:30 AM »

Michael Jackson's intense and decades-long addiction to powerful prescription drugs will be front and center in his family's wrongful death trial ... which kicks off today.

Katherine Jackson and Michael's 3 kids are suing AEG Live, claiming the company negligently hired and supervised Dr. Conrad Murray ... who killed MJ with a massive overdose of Propofol.

TMZ broke numerous stories after MJ's death ... revealing how Jackson had at least 19 aliases to score Rx drugs from various doctors.  It was well known in L.A. and Beverly Hills medical circles that MJ would doctor shop to find professionals who would open their surgery centers to give him Propofol.  The doctors -- and dentists -- would justify the drug by saying they needed to put him under for minor procedures, such as acne removal.

We reported in one case ... a famed doctor used a gynecologist's office -- run by a doc who specialized in vaginal rejuvenation -- to perform a minor acne treatment under full anesthesia.

The Jackson family will argue AEG Live had a duty to monitor Murray.  The problem is ... Jackson's the one who found Murray in the first place and that Murray administered Propofol long before the doc signed on to the "This Is It" tour.

AEG has a slew of doctors on its witness list ... to make the case that Jackson's addiction was in full bloom long before it entered the picture.

Katherine and the kids are asking for more than $40 BILLION in damages.

Prince and Michael Jackson never worked together in their illustrious careers ... until now ... because TMZ has learned Katherine Jackson intends to call Prince as a witness in her wrongful death lawsuit against AEG.

As TMZ first reported, MJ's mom and three kids are seeking $40 billion in damages from AEG or its alleged negligent hiring and supervision of Dr. Conrad Murray.

According to docs filed earlier this month, Katherine's legal team plans to call nearly 100 witnesses ... with one of them being Prince.

It's curious, since Prince and MJ never collaborated, but we're hearing Katherine's legal team believes Prince had a bad experience with AEG in the past that could be relevant.

Can you imagine Prince on the witness stand?

"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth."

I think we missed this one yesterday  ;)

He talked a big game ... but Arnie Klein folded like a cheap suit when authorities came banging on his door this morning ready to arrest him unless he told officials where to find his expensive (missing) art collection ... TMZ has learned.

We broke the story ... a warrant was issued for Klein's arrest after he allegedly failed to turn over more than 100 pieces of wildly expensive artwork as well as a 2001 Ferrari Spider to the bankruptcy trustee after he filed for bankruptcy in 2011.

A rep for the U.S. Marshals Service tells TMZ ... deputies went down to Klein's home in Palm Springs, CA to arrest him this morning ... when Klein suddenly felt the urge to spill his guts.

We're told ... Klein (Michael Jackson's former doctor) informed the deputies exactly where to find the art and the Ferrari -- so officials decided not to arrest him because they felt he was cooperative.

As for the artwork, it includes pieces by Andy Warhol (including the famous Marilyn Monroe), Robert Graham, David Hockney, Roy Lichtenstein, Claes Oldenburg, Renoir, Rodin and Toulouse-Lautrec.

If Klein's information turns out to be legit -- we're told he'll stay out of jail ... for now.
