"Michael Jackson used samples from Rod Serlings Series The Twilight Zone and created a Rap out of this excerpts for his song THREATENED. At one point I chose to look at this episodes and the stories fit perfect to his public life. It's like an autobiography he wanted to tell the fans in his own special way.
This Video (part VI) is my attempt to describe how the public's fear was/is a constant companion of the public life of Michael Jackson and how he react to it in his phenomenal artistic way. It's also my interpretation of his song and the broad field behind THREATENED.
At times -- especially after 1993 -- Michael Jackson was dealing with mass hysteria and the fear of the unfamiliar around his public persona. Jackson made a clear point in his short -- film "Michael Jacksons -- Ghosts". The villagers -- the public - from a place called Normal Valley, are scared of the Maestro (Michael Jackson) because he doesn't fit their definition of "normal". And they want to drive him out of town because of that fear. Just like the characters act in the Twilight Episode "The Fear". They do not know what the point of her fear exactly is. It is probably too much imagination.
The only problem is: What is fear all about? "The major ingredient of any recipe for fear is the unknown." Michael Jackson was a master in many fields: But how is it possible, that the world's greatest entertainer can be at same time a synonym for the unknown.
"It depends on, who must look up and who can look down". I really think it's the perfect episode for Michael Jackson for his Song THREATENED. And I think it's not a coincidence that he made a deliberate choice to make it clearer for us to understand what he's singing about. The only option to understand what he wants to tell us is "to you look at it (his music) in layers you understand it better."

Most interestingly, Jermaine claimed that Michael's influence put President Barack Obama in the White House hot-seat, reports Newser. How? Simple. It all started with Oprah.
In Michael Jackson's 1993 interview with Oprah Winfrey, the singer claimed that he had Vitiligo, a disease the late pop star claimed bleached his skin. According to Jermaine, it was this interview that propelled Oprah to her own eventual fame. With that fame, Oprah threw her support behind then-Senator Barack Obama, which some say helped him secure the Democratic nomination. "Michael invited her [to Neverland] and that was the moment that put her in 90 countries around the world and made her successful. What did she do with that success? She put it behind Obama," said Jermaine.
Jermaine also blamed British tabloids for destroying his brother's reputation, and closed by remarking on the sadness surrounding the culture's acceptance of Michael only after his death. His book "Birth Without Violence" is AMAZING!! Though I have heard about it and knew about his revolutionary vision of how babies should be welcome in this world, I have only very recently read it. It's impressive, really, not only by its scientific content, also by the artistic, poetic expression... capturing all aspects of this miracle: medical, spiritual, philosophical... It's really a pleasure to read his words!! He seems from another dimension!! I wonder how is it that a man was able to come with these thoughts and not a woman who one would expect to understand best what a child birth means both for the child and a woman. Frederick Leboyer first visited India in 1959 and spent two months of every year there in the following two decades. He developed a keen interest in yoga and its applications for pregnant women and new mothers, particularly the use of breathing and sound.
In Frederick's book "Loving Hands", he details the techniques of infant massage and throughout the book follows a young mother, Shantala. He first met, observed and photographed her with her baby outside a hostel in Calcutta. There he learned how to use the flowing rhythms of the art of baby massage to communicate love and strength to infants.
