Michael Jackson News / Secret Santa spreads joy, disbelief in Kansas City
« on: December 15, 2010, 06:35:31 AM »
Hello Everyone....not sure I put this in the right place....please feel free to move it if it's not where it should be. I found this article on yahoo and thought it was a wonderful story...but the last part hit me in the heart and made me think of Michael...actually the whole Secret Santa thing reminds me of Michael as something he would do! But the last part about the poster and the 2 hands...it's amazing how things relating to or reminding us of Michael pop up everywhere! Anyway just wanted to share this as it made me smile, with love & joy! :) God Bless the Angels walking among us here on Earth!!
LOVE & Blessings to All :)

Secret Santa spreads joy, disbelief in Kansas City
AP

– Tue Dec 14, 9:45 pm ET

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Secret Santa II hit the streets Tuesday in a long-standing Kansas City tradition of handing out $100 bills — sometimes several at a time — to unsuspecting strangers in thrift stores, food pantries and shelters.

Some people gasped in surprise. Some wanted to know if the $100 bill the tall man in the red cap offered was fake. Others wept.

Secret Santa II has seen a lot of reactions since taking over where his mentor, Kansas City's original Secret Santa, Larry Stewart, left off when he died in 2007 at age 58. Like Stewart, who gave away more than $1 million to strangers each December in mostly $100 bills, this Secret Santa prefers to stay anonymous.

A fake white beard taped to his face, Secret Santa II handed out about $10,000 in total Tuesday. Recipients included a police officer with terminal cancer, a homeless man pushing a rickety old shopping cart, an 81-year-old woman who had recently told her 27 grandchildren she wouldn't be able to afford any Christmas gifts, and Bernadette Turner, a 32-year-old unemployed mother of two.

"It's hard to come by," Turner said looking in disbelief at the $200 Secret Santa had given her.

Then one of Santa's "elves" — another tall man in a red cap — sidled up to next to Turner, asked a few questions, and handed her an additional $100. Turner, whose children are 3 and 8, was overcome.

"I can only afford one gift for each child. But now ...." she said, wiping tears from her cheeks and reaching out for a hug.

"Do you believe in Santa Claus?" Capt. Ray Wynn of the Kansas City, Mo., Fire Department, asked from a few feet away. Wynn had followed Stewart on many "sleigh rides" around the country and now follows this Secret Santa, providing stories, memories and amusing sound effects.

"I do now," Turner said. "I do now."

Secret Santa II took over from Stewart about the time the recession hit and the economy went into a tailspin. Like Stewart, this Secret Santa doesn't talk about his own finances, where those $100 bills come from and if — like for so many people now — they've been harder to come by.

Come December, he just fills his pockets with money, dons his red cap and heads out looking for people to make really happy.

He will likely hand out about $40,000 this December. He says he'll go "till the money runs out."

"The recession, unemployment. This is the time you don't want to stop. You don't want to back off," he said.

He walked up to Peggy Potter, 59, of Kansas City, Kan., who was looking at some framed prints at a thrift store. He made some small talk, put his arm around her and within minutes she was crying. Her son died about a year and a half ago. Her husband died in July and her daughter died soon after that.

"I'm just ... today's been a rough day for me, just thinking about my loved ones," she said. "I've been having a hard time paying for all the funerals."

Santa gave her $200, listened more, hugged her,and told her the poster she was holding had special meaning. It was a photo of two hands, one large, one small. Words printed at the bottom could have been written by Secret Santa, the original or the current one.[/size]

It said: "Kindness in giving creates love."

General Hoax Talk / Can someone help me please?
« on: November 07, 2010, 02:20:46 PM »
Ok....So I asked a question on the Chat thread and no one answered it, but instead deleted my post and locked the thread. This is not the first time I have had my comments deleted like I was invisible and I'm sure this will be deleted as before with no answers but here is my question:

Can someone please point me in the direction of the evidence that proves that "PoetryinMotion" was a troll and messing with us as I seemed to have missed it?

Maybe I am just naive. (I don't really think I am) but if I am so easily fooled by people here then I would like to see evidence so as to teach myself to be more aware and not so trusting. I would just really like to know how people know automatically that someone is a troll. I think it is a legitimate question and the answer just might be very helpful to all of us vulnerable people that everyone seems to want to protect from these so called trolls. Can someone please help me understand this? Thanks in advance...Love & Blessings to All!

Keep the Faith!
Michael...I LOVE You More!

Hey MJ Family, not sure if anyone had caught this on twitter from the Elvis twitter account.

Wouldn't that be something if this was the 2 Kings come back movie?  :) I just think it is just too coincidental that MJ had a movie about concert rehearsals and now they are doing a Elvis tour movie...coincidence or part of the plan?

Bless you all & keep the Faith :)
It's all for L.O.V.E

Introduce yourself / Hello from MI, USA
« on: December 14, 2009, 09:44:29 AM »
Hello everyone,

I just wanted to say Hi and introduce myself. I am a WAHM, I have 3 beautiful children and have been happily married for 12 yrs to the love of my life. I am a long time Michael Jackson fan/follower, listening to the Jackson 5 when I was little and then Michael when he went out on his own. Like many young girls through the years, I at the age of 18 had decided that I was going to marry MJ someday!  lol :) I have never encoutered and never will again in my life time, anyone that has the effect that MJ has had on my life. He is an exceptional human being to say the least. So compassionate, loving, giving, sweet, a wonderful humanitarian, and so undescribablely good looking!!! Not to mention his talents as a singer, dancer, songwriter, producer, and actor. My goodness Michael can do it all!!!

I was so totally devastated when the news came through a text message that our beloved MJ was gone.
But as time went by, things were not making sense to me so I started looking on the web for information and realized that many other fans felt as I did that things just didn't add up. I started watching the death hoax vids on youtube and from there learned about this site. I would just like to thank the Admins and everyone that contributes to the death hoax therory, for all the hard work and dedication they give to all of us. It is so greatly appreciated!! Places like this site and the you tube videos help give me hope and keep me somewhat sane as to the illusion that our beloved Michael is still with us. For I just can't imagine this world without him in it!!

I am patiently and appreciatively awaiting his return, if that is what he chooses to do. But if he decides to never come back out into the public that is ok also...All I want is for Michael to be happy and healthy...He gave us 45 yrs of his life and if he never gave us anymore I would completely understand and accept that as long as I knew he finally had some peace and happiness in his life!

I have read that some fans would be very upset if they find he did hoax his death. I do not believe it is none of anyones business if/why he did hoax his death. It is MJ's life and he deserves to live it as he needs to. I love & support you Michael in all you do and will be here for you forever & always!!

Thanks for listening!

P.S. Michael....I love you more!!  ;)
