Thank you! As the writer of the above article, I went all over the Internet to trace this rumour back to its source.
1. It is reported by many that Michael converted to Islam on the 21st November, 2008, but this is
not true the Sun article that was the original source was
printed on this date. Please go to the above article and click on the link in the bottom right of the quote box to see this.
2. Two people who were allegedly there (Yusuf Islam and Dawud Wharnsby) said it never happened; Dawud said he hasn't even
met Michael; let alone gone to any type of conversion ceremony.
All the other 'evidences' pointing to a conversion are just 'icing on the cake' of lies. I have analysed all the ones that I am aware of in the above article; and all turn out to not be true.
I'm not saying he definitely did
not convert to Islam; but only that all the evidence put forward so far is unsufficient and easy to be debunk. Please, if you want to know what i have found, take a bit of time and read through my article. If you know of anymore evidence that I have missed, I will be glad to have a look and add/amend my article if it is required.
This all started because of a Tabloid article which was not true; that is why I put the music video to Tabloid Junkie at the end of the article; quite fitting I thought
