So, in just checking the film’s Wikipedia page, there is no mention of Dodi Al Fayed, when he USED to be there! You are not allowed to view links.

The edit page from the Wikipedia above, shows that Dodi Al Fayed was “removed” from the credits for the film, on May 27, 2012. The words “Royal Command Film Performance” were also added to the Wiki page to indicate that the British Monarchy chose this film for this annual event. This film was their film “pick” for 1981. And who made these Wikipedia changes?...

I also find it surprising that this one documentary is not able to make it through the Big Screen. Maybe the Establishment continues to see Lady Diana as "Trouble" even in death and pressure is being applied to prevent this documentary to air at all costs!

You may be interesting to know that Chariots of Fire will be re-released in the UK on July 13, 2012, 2 weeks prior to the start of the Games. I am mentioning this as Chariots of Fire is a 1981 film about 2 runners at the 1924 Paris Olympics; it was financed by Mohamed Al Fayed and had Dodi Al Fayed as its executive producer.
The film's title was inspired by the line, "Bring me my chariot of fire," from the William Blake poem adapted into the popular British hymn "Jerusalem"; the hymn is heard at the end of the film. The Paris Olympics (Also known as the Game of the VIII Olympiad) started on May 4 1924 and ended on July 27 1924. The London Olympics will start exactly 88 years after Paris ended on July 27 2012.

You are ABSOLUTELY right, as usual Doug (@Dmovie27) timing was just impeccable! But again this should not be a surprise to believers! :icon_lol: :icon_lol:
The Island theme has been around for a while now and I think there is much more in this "BAD" movie than just a "BAD" movie! Why would Michael accept to be part of such a movie when we know how meticulous he is with his own productions?
Bryan Michael Stoller, the film director also directed the famous parody of the 1980s Pepsi commercial which features Michael. The parody, The Shadow of Michael, caught Michael's attention and he telephoned Stoller, a phone-call which launched a twenty-year friendship. Michael may possibly have wanted to show support to his friend, and INDEPENDENT Canadian Film maker, by taking part in the film but is it really it?
The film is a comedy that spoofs movies and television programs like Miss Congeniality, Planet of the Apes, Cast Away, Love Boat, Gilligan's Island, The Sixth Sense, Jurassic Park, Men in Black and more. Michael plays the role of Agent MJ. Michael's scenes were shot at his Neverland Ranch home. It is interesting that Michael's scenes were filmed in Neverland, Agent MJ was literally BEAMED into the film! Hmmm! And Agent MJ spoke his wisdom through his hologram: "The World is depending on You, I am depending on You"!
Maybe this is the same island Lindsay Lohan will be flying to, to ESCAPE THE GAME?
And Just to add that the 4/14 was a very interesting date in its own right! The 4/14/1982 was the start of the recording of THRILLER 30 Years ago! The first song to be recorded was the GIRL IS MINE with Paul McCartney.... And guess what Paul released the video for "MY VALENTINE" on 4/14/2012 exactly 30 years later! And The 2 actors featured in the video are Natalie Portman and Johnny Depp...... Do I need to say more! :icon_e_surprised: :woohoo2:

I always see a lot of different things when watching TMP (Dmovie27) videos. I think that through those latest 4 videos, there is a theme of entertainment industry MANIPULATION coming though, where the artists are sub-servant to the studios/labels who stop to nothing for money. Michael is the one who decided to stand against the injustice of it all! None of the others did it! "Elvis didn't do it, The Beatles didn't do it"...
Rita Hayworth was born in Brooklyn, Michael last major interview was with Ebony Magazine in 2007 in Brooklyn. Beginning and end!
I also found the reference to Sister Rosetta Tharpe full of symbolism! She was a Gospel singer from ARKansas whose song "Strange Things Happening Everyday" was credited as the first Rock N Roll record. In many ways she was the original "CHURCH of ROCK N ROLL"! Interesting that Whitney Houston also started as a gospel singer, she was born on 8/9/1963... August 9 is the planned death day in the Lady from Shanghai... (See The Shawshank Redemption pt.3)

And I always look back at Jackie's tweet from 2/16/11 (SLC2711), this was amazingly insightful! We have 117 and also "The Eagle". The Eagle, as a bird of prey, often represents Justice. The 32 stars seal we saw on the TV still during the DCM trial, portrays the Roman Goddess of war, Minerva; she is often associated with a bird of prey.

What do you see on the witness' tie right now? It looks strange and we talked about ties. Does anyone make something out of it? I look and don't understand yet the design. I have no idea if it's important but now that we talk about details and ties

The first person to call me to say Michael Jackson had died was my 17-year-old son. I had an awful feeling that one should almost have seen it coming. After the sadness came the disappointment that I was never going to see him again.
I first met Michael when he came to see Phantom of the Opera in New York when we'd just opened in 1988. He was clearly interested in the piece. He saw it several times and used to come backstage, often without the entourage that followed him around in later life.
The story got to him. I think he had a connection with the lonely, tortured musician. He found the idea of somebody working through music and having a girl as a muse very intriguing – and he loved that there was illusion in the show.
Michael became interested in playing The Phantom himself, in a movie version of the show. We talked about it a lot, but we'd only just opened and, at the time, I felt that it was too early for it to become a film. I felt his interest in Phantom was because he was interested in doing something theatrical himself.
He was a highly theatrical animal. I remember him saying to me that he'd seen Cats and how happy he was that dance was making a comeback in the theatre. He certainly talked about theatre a lot, and when he was last in London, he went to see Oliver!. Of course, he was a great showman himself, but he found the whole stagecraft of musicals extraordinary. Reference: You are not allowed to view links.
