Andy Kaufman had an alter ego by the name of Tony Clifton  You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login   Tony Clifton is a character created and often played by song and dance man Andy Kaufman in the late 1970s. Characteristic of the many elaborate hoaxes and practical jokes Kaufman concocted, Clifton was not exclusively portrayed by Kaufman. Others, mainly longtime Kaufman friend Bob Zmuda, also performed the role.

I found a biography on Danny DeVito - he was in Moonwalker...  he was also on the show TAXI which Andy Kaufman was on.   In the biography he states that Michael Jackson visited the set quite often.  You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
 
There is a movie that was done on Andy Kaufman after he died... You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login   Man on the Moon  - he is standing in front of a Red Curtain - and - it says off to the side "Hello, my name is Andy and this is my DVD"  kind of reminds me of "Michael Jackson's This Is It"
