TMZ Articles / Re: MJ's Vegas Home -- Fans Can 'Walk Where He Walked'
« on: June 25, 2011, 12:23:18 PM »
I would go, but they don't post what the four hours are...and I'm not about to look like a creeper and sit out there all day.   :?

Plus children have a pure mind so it makes it more difficult maybe to understand some things about the real world we live in

   Okay, I don't post much at all, but I just have to say I am always in hysterics when I hear people say kids are so pure and naive, especially about these kids. I'm sure they have seen some crazy things already.
I am now starting college, but the things I was thinking/doing/thinking about doing were far from pure even before I was 9! I don't recall ever being interested in normal kiddy things. I was too old for the playground in kindergarten, and quite frankly the stories my cousin and I would come up with when we played with our plastic animals/dolls were absolutely morbid! I was a cynical and sarcastic little girl from a very early age.  :P  Pure..that always makes me laugh. Maybe some, but not all.

Anyway, I have been watching that account very closely for a while now, and she tweeted to someone else afterwards that when she was talking about the "real meaning of songs", she wasn't even talking about Michael.

Michael Jackson News / Re: MJ The Experience

It is definitely one hell of a workout. I hurt. Everywhere.   I literally almost passed out after all those spins at the end of Speed Demon...don't play this when you're exhausted and dehydrated.  :P

Ghosts is especially hard...I feel like Leave Me Alone was kinda challenging too. Thriller has an "inhuman" level but I honestly didn't find it that hard.
Really bummed Jam isn't on it but it's an awesome game!

P.S. LISTEN TO THE NICE PEOPLE WHEN THEY TELL YOU TO WARM-UP FIRST.

TMZ Discussion / Re: TMZ TV.. sponsored by Sony??

TMZ is owned by Timer Warner who collaborates with, Sony. I believe?

I believe so...not to mention Sony has a share in like, everything.  :?  I don't see this as as odd.

I'm confused as well...I have so many questions.
Maybe it's because I'm sleep-deprived. :?

Which one is coming to Vegas first - the arena-concert version or the theatrical version? And is the first date (Dec. 15, 2011) in Vegas?
The fact they are going on sale a year in advance makes me terrified to hear the price.
And 8000 people per performance...I have never been to a show that large. Parking will not be fun.   I hope I even remember to go, after waiting a whole year, it probably won't be in the front of my mind...that is very strange..but I've never been to a real concert, so this is new to me.  :|

I'm not really famaliar enough with the case to pass judgment, but if he did do it...well, I'm going to have to agree with Dave Chappelle.
"How old is 15 really?"
At that age, a person is more than capable of knowing whether or not they consent to sexual activity. Granted, as an adult he should know that it's wrong to do that with a minor, but the girl wouldn't be completely off the hook either, in my opinion.

TMZ Articles / Re: New Jackson DVDs on the Way, But Not That New
« on: October 03, 2010, 12:43:38 AM »
Oi. Why does everything have to be some kind of clue?  :?
If any of you watch TMZ Live regularly, you know Harvey is an absolute fanatic about anything that has to do with JFK. No matter what he's talking about, if he can make a JFK reference, he'll do it.
I guarantee that when the writer of that article sent it to Harvey for a final review, Harvey just noticed the date, found it amusing, and told them to add it in there as a type of "fun fact". I don't see it is as being that out of place...if it was for another website, sure, very out of place. But I think it's very in character for TMZ, Harvey especially.

Pictures & Videos of Michael / Re: When was this taken??? what year?
« on: September 28, 2010, 01:23:25 AM »
Huh. Never seen this picture before...love it! But 1992 seems about right.

Similar look to "Whatzupwitu", "Remember the Time", the Oprah interview...
Agreed...1992, maybe early 1993 at the most.

Other Odd Things / Re: Edward Moss (Scary Movie 3&4)
« on: September 12, 2010, 08:32:46 PM »
Yes, he was a part of the Scary Movie roles and the court reenactment. I'll stand up for the guy a little, though...I understand it from a business standpoint. You do what you gotta do to pay the bills, you go where your career takes you, even if you don't like it.

He did an impersonation show here in Vegas back in February...I had front row seats and he was absolutely amazing. It seemed like he made eye contact with everyone in the room. I almost got to meet him backstage...long story, I made a topic a while back about the show here (You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login) if you're curious. I would go on a regular basis if it was a permanent show (unless the real thing replaced him, then sorry Ed  ;) ).

About being a double...I doubt it. His dancing was astounding, but he couldn't fool me into thinking he was Michael walking down the street. When he paused to pose, you could see the bucketload of makeup running off his face, including what looked like sharpie on his nose...no resemblance unless he's moving very fast.

TMZ Discussion / Re: Interesting TMZ Episode...

Quote from: "Figment"
People in the press have to say 'alleged' or 'allegedly' up until the time the person is convicted. To call them a murderer in the press before the person has been convicted is considered slander.

Exactly.
And the "Bubbles" elephant thing...so what? I think I'm one of the last few here that still says this, but it CAN just be a coincidence.  :? Why does EVERYTHING in the world (or at least what gets reported on TMZ) have to relate to Michael? Can't it just be regular news about completely unrelated people? Not everything revolves around him...

No disrespect to the OP intended, I'm talking about anyone in general that really stretches these things...like the cat thrown in the bin, for example. Maybe, just maybe, it was about an abused cat that had no connection to Michael or the hoax whatsoever? Maybe it was only mentioned because it was sick and disgusting and the woman needed to be found and punished?

One time when I was little, I had a strange dream involving frosty the snowman and a macoroni & cheese bazooka. My family soon developed a saying for when we have dreams we can't explain with symbolism..."Sometimes macoroni & cheese is just macoroni & cheese". I think that can apply to the real world too. ;)

Other Odd Things / Re: jacksonsecretvault.com - hard to clean MJ
« on: August 13, 2010, 01:44:39 PM »
Alright, I saw this yesterday and was hoping someone else would have noticed by now...it's just a typo. There are others in the article as well.

Quote
Earlier this week, lead star Mathew Morrision, who plays Will Schuester, taught (should be "thought") it "would be pretty cool." Morrison added that "he is probably the best and most iconic performer in the history of music." Another 'Glee' star Jenna Ushkowitzas, who portrays(space needed)Tina Cohen-Chang, seconded Morrison but noted that a Michael Jackson episode will be challenging.

Random MJ Talk / Re: I feel so left out
« on: August 11, 2010, 03:30:18 AM »
You are definitely not alone. I'm not a religious person, either. I know absolutely nothing about the Bible other than the Genesis creation story (Adam and Eve). All these Johns and Pauls and whomevers confuse me... :P
I'm more of a metaphysical, spiritual person myself - I do believe in God, but standard religion has never been my thing. I agree, it's frustrating when everyone makes biblical references, especially when it's used as proof of something. I respect others' opinions, but I just skip over it as well.

I remember reading about this a few years ago.

Um...Michael...I love you, and I'm cool with the hotel/casino idea...but as a Las Vegas resident, the thought of a 50 foot tall robot thing walking around the outskirts of town scares the crap out of me.    Can we scrap that idea?

Other Odd Things / Re: Two Psychics Fight Over Michael's Spirit
« on: July 23, 2010, 01:07:36 AM »
It really bugs me when psychics claim to have talked to deceased celebrities...out of the six billion people on this planet, THEY were the special one? And why is it always someone on the outside that can't even proove they know the family? It really takes away the credibility for the legit psychics out there.

That Kathleen woman is looking for attention and has no idea what she's talking about...I know most people don't have a clue what either of them are saying but Rita is correct in her definition of astral catalepsy, astral projection, and "spirit" (automatic) writing. I (loosely) follow Novus Spiritus as well. What Kathleen is describing is something completely different and impure. I would have to agree with Rita that she should stop communicating with whatever she assumes to be Michael.

Even if I did believe Michael is no longer with us...wow. It sounds like a combination of wishful (and near obsessive) thinking and a spirit she just shoudn't be associating with.  :? The things she is describing...I can speak from a similar personal experience on that from a dark time in my life and I do pray she overcomes it - it's not something another person can talk you out of, though I wish I could help her.

TIAI ~ 2010 / Re: TIAI 7/20
« on: July 20, 2010, 08:45:53 PM »
Alright, I don't post much as I really hate getting into arguments with people, but I really can't hold my tongue anymore..
I have no problem with going to the media about Michael. That's how word gets out about anything and everything. If the family is truly upset by it, they will say something. Now if Michael does "BAM", how else would we know about it? Even if we were the first to know..it's the internet. Internet is a form of media. How did you hear about the "death"? The media. Without media, Michael wouldn't even be Michael. We probably wouldn't even know who he is on such a worldwide scale. Not all media is evil, I think some of you forget that...it all depends on how you use it and who you go to. Yes, they will most likely make fun of us, but honestly, they would do that anyway. Do we really care? I know I don't. Now if my picture was going to be plastered all over CNN, that's another story, but a few anonymous internet usernames? Who cares?! All that matters is it gets out there.

I just think adding Elvis into the mix is a little kooky. When you propose that Michael hoaxed his death, a person's natural reaction is to laugh and say "Yeah, just like Elvis". It sounds even more unbelievable to nod, smile and agree with them! It's been over thirty years. Elvis would be in his mid-seventies...if he hoaxed his death, that's his business, but some of you seem to be suggesting he will "BAM" as well. I hope you don't think he will perform again...what's he going to do at that age? Maybe it's because Elvis was before my time, and I really don't know a lick about him other than what's been mentioned on this website, but the only thing I'm picturing is a new sponsor for those hoverround commercials.  :?    Especially if you believe the first photo on this page (You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login) that was supposedly taken over a decade ago  is him. No disrespect intended, but honestly...in my opinion, when you add Elvis to this, it just increases the likelihood we won't be taken seriously. Besides, isn't this the "Michael Jackson" hoax forum? I'm sure there is an Elvis Presley hoax forum out there somewhere.

I feel like this is a recurring problem, though, when we do go to the media...not only about Elvis, but when it comes to things like the O2 guy and the DaveDave theory...it's presented like we all believe it, no strings attached. There are so many differences in opinion on this website. I think I would tolerate adding Elvis if it's somehow made clear that only some of us support that theory, not neccesarily the entire community. I know that's pretty impossible, but in a perfect world..
