TMZ Articles / Re: Lindsay Lohan -- Victim of Bad Diagnosis
« on: August 20, 2010, 03:56:26 AM »
I'm not very familiar with Lindsey Lohan's case, but she seems self-destructive at times. There are several photos of her with scarred wrists. I don't think it has to be a personality disorder, it could be depression.

I was kinda thinking that he quite possible could have been dating Ruska Bergman? Is there any way we could at least debunk this...see if she does have a verified account?  :? Do we have a picture of the lady who claims the letter was written to her?

I highly doubt it. Ruska always addresses Michael in a respectful manner (like an artist to an artist), not in a way a close friend would.

Other Odd Things / Re: Rare Jacksons photo brings up questions of age
« on: August 20, 2010, 03:33:53 AM »
I think guessing people's ages from a photograph is highly unreliable, especially when it comes to children. I'm 18, but my body shape is that of a pre-teen girl (I don't think I have to explain to you how small my chest is and how I don't have hips).

Addressing those 'hidden in the basement' stories - Jacksons were a poor family (more kids = more help around the house), hiding a child takes space and resources.

I think we should gather the facts...I for one have a fact...Michael didnt like or want to tour
He didnt want to be doing that anymore in his life.
These are quotes from the Michael Jackson Making History Book back in 1998:
"I love movies, and that is why my next mission is to make films. That is what I want the next chapter in my life to be - movies and records. There's no other place to go. I'll do film, do records and direct. I'll also do complete directing myself, cause I love it very much"

Also: "I dont wanna do anymore live shows (world tours). I don't think I will! I wanna spend the rest of my life doing records and fils, I'll do some special shows here and there. You know I've been doing it since i was five, I dont know if i wanna do it anymore but i do love it very much. I wanna create for the next 100 years, and that's film work''.

Michael talked about making movies in the interview with Geraldo too. So it can be called a fact, yes.

About tours/live shows he could have changed his mind though. As Jennifer Batten said in the inteview with Souza and Mo: entertainers many times say that this will be their last tour, because it's a good business trick to encourage people to buy tickets. I guess saying they don't want to do more live show/tour can make people buy more "greatest hits" album and DVDs about old tours.

I remember those in Geraldo and that was back in about 2005....also in his "Home Movies" collection Michael said he did not like to tour. Then someone in the crew told him to say it nicer and he said "I love to tour" LOL not really meaning it at all.

The Fact remains whether he said it 12 years ago or 5 yrs ago HE DID NOT LIKE/WANT to tour anymore!

People who worked with Michael have all said that after suggesting touring to him, MJ started venting how another tour would kill him. If someone wasn't sources, ask away.

I'll throw in my two cents.

I agree that people fail to realize Michael was a human being. He was an intelligent and talented man, but again - people fail to realize that he was NOT a lawyer nor a mathematician, when posting hoax theories.

Secondly, if it has something to do with Michael Jackson, you must realize that fans WILL show up. I am a huge Michael Jackson fan: I love that guy's music and I respect his contribution to the entertainment industry. And yes, I think he is very attractive, but at the same time - I can admit that I am in love with the image he built around himself as the King of Pop. But everything has it's time and place, so I keep my comments for fan forums.

The reason why I needed to get that out is because non-fans have publically called fans "deranged." Even the admins themselves act as if being a fan is a bad thing, or a disease...Is it justified?

For one, I think having a crush on a flesh and blood singer is way more "normal" than having a crush on a made-up character from an anime cartoon, which is what a lot of teenagers are doing in this day and age. No disrespect intended, but I hope you see where I'm coming from.

I understand your point - that we should keep our fantasies to ourselves and I agree, but at the same time I wanted to tear down the stereotype of a typical "MJ fan," which is that we're all out of touch with reality and obsessed etc. Yes, you'll meet those people, but not all of us are like that and many of us take great offense in being treated like "loonies."

Another factoid which is  mere coincidence, but eery nonetheless: a young beautiful and talented young woman, Mitrice Richardson, 25 years old,  had been missing for over a year and her skeletal remains were found last week somewhere outside of Malibu on a secluded mountain trail.   She'd been acting strangely that day and went to an upscale restaurant by herself and she started saying  to people that she was an alien sent to avenge Michael Jackson's death.  This was last Sept.  Because she could not pay her $89.00 bill she was arrested and taken to jail.  Her mother called to see about her but the police let Mitrice go without anyone knowing.  She was never to be seen alive again.

This is scary.

I like this post. A lot of topics are left open, because they are based upon what "popped" into someone's head or inaccurate interpretations.

- There was no practically mention of Michael's passing in TII documentary. No "In honor of Michael Jackson who passed away before those concerts took place" or "In loving memory of..." etc.

But Oxman claims Joe was financially dependent on his son and should therefore have a right to object to the appointment of the men who are making financial decisions for the Estate.

Oh yeah.........

Joe Jackson isn't the brightest businessmen out there. Michael himself addressed it in "Moonwalk," when comparing the business sense between them two. Joe made wrong investments and turned to his son for a rescue, but I believe in the end, Michael learned to say no.

I haven't seen TII, so I haven't seen how that guy moves.

I'm sure it's fake. Unless they have friends who are publishers I bet they won't get too far with that writing; I believe we'll never see that book.

Well, first of all I could imagine that MJ is working with her, second I could imagine that he's sending her out as front horse on purpose to get his messages out and third I think MJ will continue to be creating the unknown, the unseen, the unanticipated with all kind of talented artists and the stunned public will only wonder where the perfection behind will be originating from.

I beg to differ.

Very Michael-ish in many ways. LOL. Kind of scary.

I can't find the right words, I'm very saddened. The whole issue is just so unfair...Tom Mesereau deals with gangs and poor black people and now something like THIS happens. I know Tom is very strong, I hope he won't be discouraged by that incident...
