Michael Jackson News / Email to UCLA

Hi all
I sent an email to the UCLA asking why an official spokesman did not report the death of Michael Jackson, and this was their reply!!!!
Dear Helen,
Your e-mail below was directed to our office.
I wanted to let you know that while I cannot comment on the specifics of any patient’s case due to patient privacy issues, what I can say is that in dealing with media issues, our hospital works closely with patients and family members to facilitate their specific wishes in how they want to interact with the news media.
In some instances, information released to the news media would come in the form of a hospital statement. In other instances, it may be the wishes of the patient or family that the news statement come from them or their personal publicist.
