I had no idea Prince was a very smart man in that way. What i mean is you only get to see the artistic side of entertainers, not the real side of them. You can't tell if they have wonders of the world. But they do, we all do, we are just shielded from seeing that side of artists. I am glad they are starting to open up about important issues. I have been studying chemtrails for quite a while, and i still can't find the difference between that and contrails. Anyway if you're interested in things like that, a good website to check out is http://www.godlikeproductions.com (http://www.godlikeproductions.com), you can search for Michael Jackson on there too, there is some pretty weird stuff. I advise you not to be vulnerable when going there, if you have your beliefs, keep them tight, and never have fear.

He is evidently a versatile and deep read man.
And for all I know he´s also a pioneer in revolutionary music marketing concepts on the internet.
I´m quite sure both - Michael and Prince - had a number of conversation topics...  ;)

Should I dare to ask what a "chemtrail" is? I didn´t get a clear translation for this word on dict...

Not really.  His career has bombed since he began suing everyone who uses his music on the internet.  He even went so far as to write a dis track against his fans for refusing to shut down their websites with pictures of him posted on them.

He used to be unstoppable as an artist but now he's pretty much irrelevant.  He hasn't released a solid record since the mid 90s.

That might partially be true. But nevertheless, he´s sovereign and independent as an artist. That´s not to be taken for granted.
And he knew how to take advantage of the internet at a time, when major labels only complained about declining sales.
By the way, I can´t blame him for defending his intellectual property.

I used to think Prince was pretty cool, until his he started to get upset about his videos and images of himself on the net. Then he started to get upset with the fans over it, he should be grateful the fans want to see him, but instead he got mad, started to get legal teams together to troll the internet, for the purpose of taking down his videos, music, images... Not sure how sucessful he was, because when it started I stopped bothering with him altogether. Prince's problem is he does not appreciate his fans, ever seen how he snubs them in public? it is unbelievable how he is towards them. But on the other hand I do think he had a point about all the Chem trails, I believe that this conspiracy is true...

So glad Michael respects and appreciates his fans, he makes me feel good to know him.

I don't mean to be rude or disrespectful, but just post a message on the Prince forum about Prince's message, and see how his fans respond to you, IF they even GET the CHANCE to respond, because the mods over there are very quick with deleting or locking threads when it comes to spreading Prince's messages.  I don't think that the majority of Prince's fans understand what he's talking and singing about at all, which leads them to ridicule and bash those who do understand.

Another Prince - thread...  :) We've discussed him so many times already but I really don't mind  ;) . I have nothing but love for him and he should be recognised for all that he has done for music. I'm sure he inspired Michael as well, so the man must be something special. I wish the would've done that Bad duet togther *sigh*. I would probably have fainted from all that hotness if they'd done a video together   .

Prince albums released since the mid 90s:

  • The Gold Experience (1995)
  • Chaos and Disorder (1996)
  • Emancipation (1996)
  • Crystal Ball (1998)
  • Rave Un2 the Joy Fantastic (1999)
  • The Rainbow Children (2001)
  • One Nite Alone... (2002)
  • Xpectation (2003)
  • N.E.W.S (2003)
  • Musicology (2004)
  • The Chocolate Invasion (2004)
  • The Slaughterhouse (2004)
  • 3121 (2006)
  • Planet Earth (2007)
  • LOtUSFLOW3R (2009)
[/b]

 I said a SOLID album, meaning a good quality one.

The Gold Experience was the last one to get all around critical and public acclaim.  That was also the last album to give him a #1 hit around the world.

Musicology got some attention because of his performance @ the Grammys with Beyonce.  3121 was mildly popular because he was still okay with promoting his work.

The rest only hardcore fans would know and only a few of these albums were widely released.

He's never "taken advantage" of the internet, he simply went censorship crazy thinking that people watching his videos on youtube is the same as stealing his songs.  He's independent, sure, but his career has suffered greatly because of that.  He really didn't seem to have much of a plan after "isolate myself from everyone, ignore fans, abandon ship".

You do know he sued a mother for posting a video on youtube of her baby while one of his songs played on the radio in the background?

I totally disagree: listen to musicology (best selling tour in US in 2004) listen to 3121, planet Earth and his latest double album; lotusflow3 and Minneapolis, very versataile and good things on there - last but not least; GO SEE HIM LIVE ... he is an amazing artist...

Its correct that he is very strict on content on the internet etc. and a lot of his fans hate that...

Anyway - Prince to what he think is right - I get his point..

Only thing is that I miss live dvds from Prince - but he dont believe in that concept - He feels that concert are "in the moment" kind of thing.

I have deep respect for Prince, and have had this since 1982. Im sure he and MJ were good partners/friends - dont believe everything u read in the news....

Dick Gregory is a very clear conncetion between Prince and MJ.

Prince never liked the concept: fans... fans as in fanatic... he prefered the word fams as in family...

I think that he has a point; he never believed in making musicians/singers God like. As he says; there is only ONE GOD...

Love is God
God is Love.

You hit the nail on the head.  Here we go again:

Prince's One Song speech

Prologue:
1999... and the illusion continues. One begs 2 ask -
"when will it end?"

Unnatural disasters happen seemingly every week. Train crashes, shootings, nuclear accidents; is there any place of refuge one can flee from this insanity? Very few of mankind's creations r designed 2 make u feel good, unless u get pleasure from seeing the human body desecrated by guns, explosions, fights, and any other things these so-called "artists" create. In the name of freedom, many have used art as a means 2 destroy the human mind. As an excuse 2 continue we hear "Art reflects society". How many times has this lie been repeated: "creations r not real", they say and yet any one of these people can call 2 mind images and complete scenes of horror in graphic detail. They will carry these so-called "unreal" creations around with them 4 the rest of their lives. These images r now a part of their being. In the name of RECREATION these people in fact r re-creating themselves in their own images.
SOCIETY THEN REFLECTS ART.

In man's decision 2 further separate from God, his re-creation of himself leaves him in a dysfunctional state of confusion. The mind becomes a burial ground 4 dead waste. Isolated from the wholeness of God, Earth and his fellow brothers and sisters, this man seeks solace in activities he thinks will stimulate his mind. He begins downloading in2 his brain a series of manmade creations designed 2 destroy it. All manmade creations originate from one of 2 sources: the Tree of Knowledge or the Tree of Life. One of these trees contained deadly fruit, the other - Fruit of Everlasting Life. The one who disregards this fact recreates himself and his kind in2 extinction.

U r reading these words on a machine created by man. As u read, u hear a voice speaking 2 u the words that u perceive. They make sense 2 u because u understand (stand under) the SPELLing. The words r what binds this SPELL 2 ur illusion. When u hear the truth, like a memory - u recognize it and this recognition releases u from ALL illusion. Many languages r brilliant in their attempt 2 CONfuse u. CON meaning: against, fuse meaning: 2gether. Words and their SPELLbinding illusions have the power 2 keep man separate from God. U were born in an all-knowing state of mind. The first words spoken 2 u begin the SPELL. The words come from one of 2 sources: the Tree of Knowledge or the Tree of Life. In ignorance or simply lack of respect 4 God, many use words that CONfuse the minds of humans and turn them in2 projections of their own illusions. Because of this fact, many people grow up and blindly assume their pre-selected role under a dictatorship without even being aware of it. When asked what they r doing here on earth, most will answer with statements that do not reflect their natural God-given desires. This creates a pyramid-like structure with the dictator on top, and each level under it knowing less and less. Upon reaching the bottom level - which is where the majority is, u will find chaos, disorder, and illusion. With ILL as its prefix, ILLusion is a state of insanity. In the name of democracy, supreme power is vested un2 the people in this insane state instead of God. A future re-created, 2 b ruled by man, is one of isolation and despair. Returning the leadership back in2 God will allow mankind 2 achieve its original collective goal which is union with God. Ideas contrary 2 this goal should not b blamed or persecuted - just simply ignored. They originated when man first chose 2 ignore God's rule. Simply put - in the beginning, the Human was made perfect in God's image. They had no need 4 knowledge. They were also given freedom of choice. The Tree of Knowledge and the Tree of Life r reflections of this freedom. The human is now a reflection of their choice. They could have simply chose not 2 choose. God being centrifugal in nature, freedom was the CAUSE and choice was the EFFECT. In knowing their perfection made in God's image, there was no need 2 choose. In fact, there were NO NEEDS. There was only love in an all-knowing state b4 the fall. The worst thing u can do is give up ur God-given right 2 choose. 4 in it - u can choose not 2 choose. Therein is the final judgement. The illusion ceases and u awaken from ur dream. Now the healing begins...

With an all-knowing mind, made in God's image u can create as ur Creator - God intended. With love, honor and respect 4 every living thing in the universe. Separation ceases, and we all become One Being singing the One song.

One Song
I am the universe
The sun, the moon and sea
I am the energy
4 that is what I breathe
I can be contradiction
Cuz that is all I see
But I am the universe
And the universe is me

I am the one song (Ah yes)
And that one song is free
All things come from this one song (Yes they do, uh)
The garden and the tree
If everything, everything is present
What is will always be
This here is the first and the last song
And all that come between

When language falls like a wounded soldier
And it's covered by the sea
All the sadness
All these unanswered questions
Keep me company
(Company, company, company come 2 me, come 2 me please!)
Here at the center of it all
(I know)
I know that U can only come from me

(I am the universe)
Yes it will, oh, yes it will
(The sun, the moon and sea)
Where else is it gonna come from but me?
(I am the universe)
Oh my, my my my my my my my universe
(The universe is me)
(I am the universe)
(The sun, the moon and sea)
(I am the universe)
(We are the universe) {x2}

But I've never heard him speak out about anything in much detail. This is awesome. Interesting that he's a Jehovah's Witness.

He knows the TRUTH. Like Michael said..they LIE in our history books. Also don't blame him for not voting. We should all just not vote and see what happens.

His statement about america being a plantation really reminded me of this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xbp6umQT58A  Really good one!

Please, get your facts straight before making statements.

Prince albums released since the mid 90s:

  • The Gold Experience (1995)
  • Chaos and Disorder (1996)
  • Emancipation (1996)
  • Crystal Ball (1998)
  • Rave Un2 the Joy Fantastic (1999)
  • The Rainbow Children (2001)
  • One Nite Alone... (2002)
  • Xpectation (2003)
  • N.E.W.S (2003)
  • Musicology (2004)
  • The Chocolate Invasion (2004)
  • The Slaughterhouse (2004)
  • 3121 (2006)
  • Planet Earth (2007)
  • LOtUSFLOW3R (2009)
[/b]

 I said a SOLID album, meaning a good quality one.

The Gold Experience was the last one to get all around critical and public acclaim.  That was also the last album to give him a #1 hit around the world.

Musicology got some attention because of his performance @ the Grammys with Beyonce.  3121 was mildly popular because he was still okay with promoting his work.

The rest only hardcore fans would know and only a few of these albums were widely released.

So, a solid album, a good quality one, to you is an album from which #1 hits come, and receives good critiques..?  Then my taste of music must be really bad, because some of my favorite albums are not even known by a wide audience or only produced moderate hits.  Strangely enough, these very same albums are known and highly appreciated by musicians.  Makes you go mmmmmmmmm...

Hits nowadays are mainly based on airplay and downloads instead of record sales.  Critiques can make of break albums.

His fans hate most of those albums, trust me, I'm a hardcore fan, I know some of his fans in real life.  Every one of them knows he is SO not what he used to be because of his stance against the music industry.  You'd be flat out trying to find a hardcore fan who really likes anything he did between 96 and 2004.  He recently released two songs and his biggest fansite HATED them both.  We really only stick around because of his former glory.

My guess is he got into the industry when he was too young (19) and once he grew up and began to think for himself, he found it wasn't the place for him, only by then the world was in love with him.

I totally disagree: listen to musicology (best selling tour in US in 2004) listen to 3121, planet Earth and his latest double album; lotusflow3 and Minneapolis, very versataile and good things on there - last but not least; GO SEE HIM LIVE ... he is an amazing artist...

Yeah, I acknowledged Musicology and 3121.  Planet Earth's hype didn't last very long.

I'd go and see him live but he's too busy studying the Bible to tour this country

I only enjoyed a few tracks on Lotusflow3r/MPLS but fans did take that as a slight improvement on PE and 3121.

I have deep respect for Prince, and have had this since 1982. Im sure he and MJ were good partners/friends - dont believe everything u read in the news....

Totally agree, their whole rivalry was completely made up.

Mo: I had been a admirer of Prince ever since I had seen the movie Purple Rain, that was many years ago for me..and had been a member of the Prince.org website for years as well, so I know exactly what your are talking about with how the mods there operate, I have experienced it. As far as his message, well perhaps some people do not get it. I do admire Prince for his awareness of social suppressions in it's many forms, and trying to make difference with his music about this very subject. However when it comes to social relations, he has never been to kind to the people who support him his fans or rather fams. That was my point, his response towards his fams, this has been a complaint with many Prince fams for years, I am not the only one to notice. You can disagree if you want, it is your right, but this is true.

I would have liked to see Prince change, become more social with his fams, but it did not happen, he just became for reclusive. I have seen many videos of him arriving at different types of events through the years, you never really see him interact that much with the fams. Then this whole internet thing went down, where he starting suing alot of people. Well I have more than made my point,  I just wanted to vent..

themjkiss, thanks for explaining, I appreciate it.  Let me vent my thoughts as well please...

Why would Prince (or any other artist) have to socialize with fans..?  Creating music and performing is a profession, it's his work.  If people admire his work they can buy his records and play them.  They can attend gigs and watch him perform.  In my opinion, that is where it should end.

When you finish your job you also want to go home and relax, spend time with your family and do the things you like to do in your time off.  Why can't an artist do that?  Why do fans expect an artist to socialize with them?  They don't owe that to their fans, fans just think they owe them that.

In my opinion, fans expect too much and claim too much from artists.  Whatever the artist does, it will never be good enough, there will always be complaints.  Put yourself in an artist's position - how would you feel if your "customers" think they have the right to claim you after your job is finished..?

They also don't expect diss tracks to be released when they refuse to be ridiculously censored for no reason and with no explanation BY the very artist they supported and spent their hard earned money on.  PRINCE needs to remember no artist is successful without their fans.

YOU need to remember that whatever Prince is releasing in whatever way, it's HIS stuff, and HE can do with it whatever HE wants, without having to explain himself.  He doesn't owe you anything, neither did he force you to buy his records, that was YOUR choice.

yup. well said. the artist's job is to produce the art, if he/ she chooses to make a living on that. the artist only depends on the buying power of his fans. if that don't work, he'll have to choose a different way to make a living. other than that, the artists don't owe anything to the fans. like with any other job, when you've finished your hours (=album/ artwork), you're off. 'me-time'! but an entertainer cannot claim that right? prince or any other artist has the right to decide what he/ she is willing to give to the fans apart from that. and obviously, there are still enough ways to sell the product, seems to work out for prince at least. but as in every professional field, there are people in there who have 'funny traits' or a very peculiar way of how to handle things, so does prince. he seems to be doing okay with it and he's still a great musician. and he is not obliged to produce music only his fans like, he has to like it. if you don't like that - don't buy his stuff, don't give your money to an artist who you don't like on another level. period.

MO : I totally agree with U... I have been loving prince and his art for 27 years now - Prince is NOT about fans and all that. He is an artist who creates freely - and that cool. He dont sign autograhp and stuff, since he dont feel that this is important. He even feels that it puts him on a piedestall. where he dont think he belongs... He dont like the whole "fan" thing - I totally understand that.

I am part of the Prince.org website too - and they are totally negative over there -- I got a warning for mention the death hoax of MJ and the connection to Prince/Dick Gregory... Well dont that says alot.

Prince is a pure spirit, intelligent human being and a free artist and a wonderfull musician..

Prince and MJ were good friends, apparently.  I have heard this somewhere and it was a good source.  Cant remember who from.. but all the stuff about MJ being jealous and competitive over Prince was a joke, and made up.  In fact..  MJ used to encourage it in the media, apparently.

After MJ..  Tatiana even had a brief affair with Prince.  Its in her book.

So the joke that Kenny Ortega made about Michael saying that he couldnt sleep as he was afraid that God would give his ideas to Prince has always intrigued me...

Did Kenny Ortega make it up because he knows the media rumours about MJ and Prince and thought it would be a funny thing to say..  and also because it makes MJ look like an odd ball again??

Did MJ really say that to KO..  and KO just didnt get the joke and genuinely believed MJ thought that about God and Prince??

Or what...   oh heck.. my head is exploding.  There is just something whack about KO saying that quote from MJ about Prince.

PRINCE IS ANOTHER ONE OF MY FAVORITES. MICHAEL LIKES PRINCE HE GOES TO SEE HIM IN CONCERT YOU DON'T GO SEE SOMEONE YOU DISLIKE IN CONCERT THE MAN ADMIRES PRINCE AND THAT'S WHAT I LIKE ABOUT MICHAEL. THESE TWO HAVE A DEEP ADMIRATION FOR ONE ANOTHER THAT'S IT. I CAN LISTEN TO MIKE LONGER THAN PRINCE THOUGH AT THE GYM I GO FROM MUSICOLOGY TO LET'S GO BACK TO INVINCIBLE THOSE ARE MY TWO FAVORITE BOYS. ;) PRINCE NOW I THINK HAS TROUBLE EXPRESSING HIS FEELINGS I THINK HE'S BEEN HURT AND FROM WHAT I'VE READ HIS FATHER WAS ABUSIVE TOWARDS HIM AND PLAIN OUT JUST DIDN'T BELIEVE IN HIM DIDN'T EVEN WANT TO TEACH PRINCE TO PLAY THE PIANO. PRINCE WAS A SICKLY CHILD SUFFERING FROM EPILEPSY SO HE HAS THINGS INSIDE OF HIM PAINFUL STUFF LIKE LOSING HIS BABY WITHIN DAYS OF BEING BORN. WE SEE THE ARTISTS WE DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOING INSIDE THE PAIN OR WHY THEY'RE LIKE THAT. BOTH PRINCE AND MIKE HAVE STUFF INSIDE OF THEM JUST LIKE WE ALL DO EMOTIONAL LUGGAGE THAT MAKES THEM REACT A CERTAIN WAY, BUT I LOVE HOW THEY HAVE THAT OUTLET OF CREATING BEAUTIFUL ARTISTIC WORK THE SONGS EXPRESS THINGS WE MIGHT EVEN FEEL.

I found this thread very interesting as I personally realy like Prince. He is a mysterious man who is very very intelligent but there are not many who see this. I have liked him and his music for a long time but he is a hard man to understand.

Prince is a man who took a stand regarding his creativity. he had a problem with certain contracts therefore decided to release his music under another persona and only on the internet, therefore lost fans who did not understand his ideals. He sttod up for his ideals and released his music the way and how he wanted to even tho he had to do it under another name but good for him for learning and being able to go against the "system".

He is an incredibly intelligent man therefore very misunderstood as are most genius creative people.

Could you do what he has done? Could you create what he has created? Could you have had the guts to do what he had to do to release his music? Could you have fought against the system as he did? Could you do what he has done? Do you know he has more talent in his little finger than you will ever have?

When you finish your job you also want to go home and relax, spend time with your family and do the things you like to do in your time off. Why can't an artist do that? Why do fans expect an artist to socialize with them? They don't owe that to their fans, fans just think they owe them that.

PHOTOGRAPHS of him RELEASED to the public and used in magazines are not the same as SONGS.  Fans hosting those pictures on their sites is NO REASON for the websites to be shut down.

Imagine if Michael's estate suddenly told us here that we could no longer EVER post any pictures of Michael whatsoever?  No hoax pictures, no photo shoots, certainly no gold pants photos, and all our hoax videos were removed from youtube.

Would you just sit and take that?  How would this website even run without pictures and videos?

The thing is, Prince is all about not backing down, always doing things your way and having your own power.  Yet HE wants to inflict the same rules and oppression on his fans that HE has been trying to escape his entire career.

If he didn't want people using his pictures, he should never have done photo-shoots.  Why publicize your career if you DON'T LIKE PUBLICITY?  I have to wonder what the hell he expected - both from becoming famous and from slapping down rules like that on the people who GOT HIM TO WHERE HE IS TODAY.

Obviously, he expected us to back down and when we didn't, chose to waste his amazing talent on a DISS track against us:

"I hate to let you know but it's on
You might not like the taste
But I’m still gon’ stick your face in this funk (stick yo face in it)
"

We chose to line his pockets since the late 70s and give him the money to own his purple mansion and live the high life and that's what we get back.  Just try to picture Michael treating his fans this way.

Don't ever wonder why real Prince fans are eternally frustrated with him.

Did Prince tell you or force you to "line his pockets"?  No, it was your choice to buy his albums, like you said.  Just because you buy someone's products doesn't mean you can claim something in return, come on!

What do you expect your local butcher to do for you in return just because you buy your meat there, does the owner of factory that designed and made your car needs to do something in return because you bought that car?  No, of course not, that's absolutely ridiculous you'll most likely say, yet you do expect an artist to do certain things that would please you just because you bought his product.

What you're saying is utterly unreasonable.

My daughter attended as many of Prince"s performances as she could manage the last time he was playing in London. She has told me that the man played multiple instruments, and sang and danced for 3 hours at each gig. And got in a little spiritual message as well.
His musicality impacted her life. She still talks about those shows . This is all we should expect from a performer. To give us the best show they are capable of doing.

just because you may own a prince cd or two does not mean that you own the man.

Way to avoid all my questions about what if those sorts of rules came down on THIS forum.

If Prince didn't want the public as a constant part of his life and career, he should've done pub shows or become a producer.

It's like Mike releasing Thriller then banning TV stations from playing his videos.

Prince doesn't even have to do much, just LET fans have access to his released music instead of making them pay over $70 just to join his website to hear songs then lose that money when the site goes defunct a few months later (his 2nd or 3rd site to fail), barely releasing his CDs (WHY MAKE THEM?) and then doing zero promotion.

He released a perfume for a while and is now being sued by the company because he abandoned the project and didn't pay them.

Like I said, why does he bother?  Most would rather he went away rather than sprinkling an occasional crumb then kicking us as we try to pick the crumb up.

Well - I dont think that U accept the spirit of Princes art - maybe I dont too - but just take it or leave it - there is no pressure...

I just think that he made some very important messages about the industry (iluminati) and the world...(even thou Im not very religious (but very spirituel)...

Besides that: he made a big part of the soundtrack to my life: When doves cry, the beautiful ones, purple rain, reflection, sometimes it snow in april, how come u dont call me, kiss, 1999, colonized mind, feel happy, fell great, fell wonderful, old school company, return to the bumpsquad etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. I could go on and on and on..

Peace...

Prince:

Love is god - god is love (makes a lot of sense to me)

MJ:

Its all about L.O.V.E. ( same message)

Quote
I totally disagree: listen to musicology (best selling tour in US in 2004) listen to 3121, planet Earth and his latest double album; lotusflow3 and Minneapolis, very versataile and good things on there - last but not least; GO SEE HIM LIVE ... he is an amazing artist...

Yeah, I acknowledged Musicology and 3121.  Planet Earth's hype didn't last very long.

Quote
I'd go and see him live but he's too busy studying the Bible to tour this country

LOL: I will see him tho - at Roskilde festival (Denmark) on july 4  :D

I only enjoyed a few tracks on Lotusflow3r/MPLS but fans did take that as a slight improvement on PE and 3121.

I have deep respect for Prince, and have had this since 1982. Im sure he and MJ were good partners/friends - dont believe everything u read in the news....

Totally agree, their whole rivalry was completely made up.
it wasnt completely made up, they WERE friends and they got along, but at the same time they had a friendly competition going and even mj's closest friends said that it was friendly competition, nothing serious, they just played around and teased each other and made snarky comments and maybe a friend diss or to, but it wasnt serious.

Can I just say that each statement -Those against Prince's treatment of fans, questionable impact or relevancy after a certain year, and those who well, generally side with MO- Is not just engaging to read, but a bit of the point when you package it all together.

The fact that fans, critics, etc view Prince in such severally different forms is what makes his musicality-his personality-his very persona an art. A man/woman who appeased everyone,  who was appreciated as a person, and whose product was loved equally year after year by everyone would be a "performer".
Warhol was called a genius and a hack. He was loved by some and seen by many as a horny-pretentious-thieving-asshole....this is what made him the artist and not the painter.

WHatever you may feel about the mans actions, Prince is, as one poster said, a true genius in every sense.(Take the way he is involved with every single aspect of his music, and in each position called 'one of the greats' by his musical peers) And, having a brother that is a genius (the genetic pool seems to have taken a holiday on me  ) I know you can't always make sense of the man. So, you take his efforts and 'products' at face value and appreciate it's depth or you don't. That what makes it art===The artist and the various, and all appropriate, observations of the viewers. IMHO

I once bought a painting from a local Pittsburgh artist and on the way out of his show I, along with many others, stopped to congratulate and speak to him about meaning of his art. He snubbed each and every one of us as though we were the plague. His painting still hangs in my living room. I tell people who admire it "Isn't he amazing..." "He's a vile mother ****, a down right a'hole" "But, isn't this art astounding!" LOL   ;)

Very engaging guys-I love to see peoples passions show through their discussions.
And like a previous poster Prince and Michael were the soundtrack of my youth.

Peace and Much Respect to ALL!

Prince is very in tune with the universe and very wise about things. I wish he would mention something about the one year anniversary coming up. But I doubt we'll hear a peep out of him.
