Prominent entertainment attorney found fatally shot outside Encino home

An entertainment attorney who once represented Michael Jackson was found fatally shot Friday outside his home in Encino.
Peter Lopez's body was discovered around 11:30 a.m. after the Los Angeles Police Department received a call reporting shots fired.
LAPD sources told KTLA News that Lopez's wife, "Dukes of Hazard" actress Barbara Bach, told police that her husband had shot himself. Law enforcement officials said they have not determined an exact cause of death but are investigating it as a suicide.
Lopez in 2007 was appointed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger to serve on the State Athletic Commission.
He was also a noted attorney known for representing musicians.

Wow i dont know what to sa about this besides "who shot him.?"

I am so very glad to see that someone posted this immediately. I heard about this on the 4:00 P.M. news here in Los Angeles. My first reaction was, "Who shot him?" The way in which they reported it was it was indeed a suicide. The investigation is in it's infant stage and they are already calling it a suicide. I find this extremely disturbing. It could be that he did this to himself. However my guard is up whenever I hear Michael's name mentioned along with something of this nature. All I can say is that ever since June 25th 2009 nothing make sense and to many strange things are going on. I am very glad that everyone here is really paying attention. I think we are all in for a very crazy summer.

I don't know about you guys, but after reading the article, my initial inclination upon reading a potential suicide relating to Michael in anyway (in this case, this one the person MJ was defending) I get to thinking that Michael's chances of faking his death are even larger. If this turns out to be a suicide, i'm wondering why the man did this? You could say that he may have been overtly depressed, but something tells me theres more going on than the pupil can detect.

If he was murdered then he definitely was murdered because he knew something, I think. This is quite sad. :(

I had that same uncomfortable feeling when I heard the news too. I will keep following this investigation . . .
