the thing about this family and what was plain as day in the dynasty programme is that the family the brothers are not united

do you recall Jermaine complaining that his brothers did not support him with his planned tribute, then they complained that they had not been informed and only found out about it after the announcement or so.

then it was the conversation - jermaine saying that anyone else could do a tribute. you would have thought that this messy behaviour would dealt with off camera

why are they not concentrating on the trial - instead of cashing in?

wasnt there to be something in london - wembley with jermaine on the 25th

the auction of mikes goods is on 25th - i would have thought janet would have purchased them to stop it, but i understand that the estate approved it

wasnt ma jackson supposed to doing a fan day in gary?

what experience do marlon and jermaine - in recent years have  in pulling this off? little. i am going to be harsh - but they were in their late teens when the jackson 5 were so famous, and they never saw an end date - they did not plan ahead - learn their trade - like mike did - mike could produce. that is their short coming, and living off the old days as a boy/teen band does not pay the bills and will not revive them because they have to come up with something that pp want to buy into - and tributes to mike will not do it.

i say speak to the presley's

dont like this at all

i feel the same way about the 'family thing'. it is clear as day to me that this family has heavy issues, especially jermaine and the remaining brothers. when i saw the family dynasty show i was constantly scratching my head about why especially jermaine would bring up old issues from 30+ years ago and was still cryin' about it like it happened yesterday. and why was randy not involved at all? or any of the sisters?

plus what they were trying to show musically was poor to me. that sh!t sounded like straight from the 80s! i was like: is this all they can come up with? all they presented on the show was one little clip (hopefully unfinished... ) and the rest of the show was issues on top of issues...plus bad acting...and it def showed who the musical head of the jackson bros. was (hint: NOT jermaine... ). i would really like to see tito get his shot out of this, more than anyone else of the jackson clan. hope it works out for him here. he makes the most sense out of any jackson there, pretty much the only one who can still think straight, other than janet.

the siblings are also not appearing together now, it's like everybody is cooking his own 'tribute soup'. they keep saying how strong this family is, especially jermaine, and how they all 'stick together' but i don't see any of that. and those tribute announcements are starting to get on my nerves...royally! like they're throwing out dates like candy but noboody gets to catch one...

i take this time now as the quiet before the storm...let's just see what the trial outcome is, i think that's more important than any 'tribute', it's just distracting...

I agree, it doesn't seem like this fam is united at all. Now just Marlon is putting together a memorial in Rome???? Seems like a family effort would be more successful. We'll see if this goes through...i doubt it!

I am just asking everyone to really look at this with an open mind. The family is not divided and as for them not concentrating on the trial...It's Fake! Remember who is pulling the strings here. Be very mindful of what you say about the brothers, and family in general. Michael loves his family dearly. They all play a part in this. Open your eyes here to what is really happening. I might humbly suggest you research the city of ROME and it's history. This event says it all.

And as I remember from the Dynasty show, Marlon is the most business savy of them all... he is doing real estate project in Africa... a big one, from what he showed... a city of some sort.  So I would look at what he is doing before the rest of them.  Yes, Rome is very interesting choice.  ;)

It would be great to see them pull something together.  Even though I firmly believe that Michael is alive, I would still like to go and see one and experience the love that all the fans have for Michael.  I hope that they can have one close to where I live.  What would be so much better is for Michael to have a press conference or performance close to me when he comes back.

This appears to be another "hoax" like the Still the King Tour.  I went to the tribute page and then clicked on the three links for tickets.  All three links for tickets have no information regarding this event.

There are no tickets to the Still The King Tour and all links on the Still The King webpage are fake or invalid except for the "snake-charmer" link.

Again, if anyone can verify that there are actual tickets to the MJM Memorial in Rome, please let us know!   The information may just not be available yet but the ticket links listed on the webpage are coming up "empty."

The site is in Italian. The phone number is including the country code (001) that must be dialed from Italy to the United States. 323 284 5208 is a legitimate Los Angeles, California area code and prefix.

However...whatever is supposed to happen in Rome on the 25th, it doesn't seem to be an official event. It seems to be something organized there and Marlon may just be attending.

It seems like for some reason Italy is important for the Jacksons. And I read somewhere that in Italy it is not illegal to fake your death. I don't know if this is true? Anyone?

I don't know if that's true or not...but since Michael didn't "die" in Italy, it wouldn't really have bearing on the hoax.

I read that this person after Marlon webconference told to the people that MJ is alive, and showed them a very recent photo of MJ
In the story posted on FB it seems, MJ is nice and with better face.

I'm wondering if here there is any thread about this lady

Excitement is mounting for the 14th Annual St. Kitts Music Festival, as officials continue to unveil top international and regional artistes for the illustrious event.

Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Tito Jackson of the Jackson 5 is the latest megastar to be named to the growing list of top-notch performers. The brother of Pop King Michael Jackson will perform a tribute to the Jacksons on the first anniversary of his younger brother's death (June 25). Toriano "Tito" Jackson is best known for his run with one of Motown's most successful acts, the Jackson 5. However, the singer/songwriter experienced his own success as a solo artiste with hits like "I gotta play" and "Stormy Monday."

Jackson said he is looking forward to visiting and performing in St. Kitts for the first time.

"I have heard so much about the island, and I have lots of surprises in store for the audience. They are going to hear a great retrospective of Jackson family songs, from Janet, Michael, The Jackson Five, and some of my songs. It will be a great show and will bring back lots of memories and create some new ones, I am sure. I am sure the crowd will love all of the music."

Minister of Tourism Hon. Richard Skerritt said having Jackson perform at the St. Kitts Music Festival was an "honour."

"It's an honour to have Tito Jackson join the line-up for this year's St. Kitts Music Festival. His tribute concert to the Jackson family music legacy is certain to be memorable for the many Jackson family fans in St Kitts and the wider Caribbean, who will be given a wonderful opportunity to experience this special world-class performance first-hand, while enjoying the unique St. Kitts Musical Festival experience," he said.

Third World

Rounding out the list of confirmed acts are R&B sensation Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds, Grammy nominee Ky-Mani Marley, Soca power couple Bunji Garlin and Fay-Ann Lyons, and Grammy nominated reggae group Third World.

Festival Chairman Faron Lawrence spoke with The Observer and said the response to the partial line-up was incredible, adding that with more big names to be rolled out, the event promised to be unforgettable.

"We've unveiled about five acts and already the anticipation and buzz has reached an amazing level. The St. Kitts Music Festival has been a mecca for entertainment seekers since its inception and this year promises to deliver yet another phenomenal musical product. We have a superb blend of international, regional and local artistes and I can guarantee patrons will get their money's worth and a whole lot more," Lawrence said.

He informed that the line-up should be complete within the next few weeks and that once sponsorship arrangements had been finalized, tickets would go on sale shortly thereafter.

"We have reduced the price of the tickets this year from EC $135 (US$50) to EC$100 (US$40) nightly. We took the economic situation into consideration because we want to make it affordable so that everyone can attend, whether locals or visitors. The St. Kitts Music Festival is the place to be, and we are expecting the usual massive turnout or more," he said.

Lawrence said it will be a double header of entertainment for St. Kitts at that time as the nation will be hosting a WICB test match - West Indies versus South Africa - from Friday, June 18 to Tuesday, June 22 at Warner Park.

The star-studded musical event will take place from June 24-26 at the Warner Park's football stadium.

This is very strange.  If you "google" the words "MJM Tribute Rome" there are as many sites come up with information for 07/25 as there are for 06/25.  Some ticket buy/sell/view ticket sites show 20 seats left in this section, 8 tickets left in this section, etc. but when you click on the links to buy those seats, the links are fake and not clickable.    :?:

Here are a few examples...for tickets on 07/25, not 06/25...

Yes I know that is where tickets are available for 06/25...I was only pointing out the discrepancies in this like everything else we have seen...the Wembley Stadium announcement, the Still the King Tour, the Gambia tribute, etc.  They all either turn out to be fake or there are huge discrepancies in information.  You can actually click on some of these sites and purchase tickets for 07/25, not 06/25, so again, there are huge discrepancies....

This gets better everyday.  Marlon is the one who announced this tribute but these are Randy's latest tweets...

I have some serious concerns about this tribute to my brother on the 25th of June in Rome... 38 minutes ago via mobile web

I have 4 concerns... First, where are the proceeds from ticket sales going...?? 11 minutes ago via Twitter for BlackBerry®

Second, the coordinator is telling fans that my brother is alive & will be there in disguise.... That deeply disturbs me. 10 minutes ago via Twitter for BlackBerry®

Third, I fired Brian Oxman, but he is still under attorney-client restriction with me and cannot speak publicly. 9 minutes ago via Twitter for BlackBerry®

And lastly, My family has plans to be at Forest Lawn on the 25th of June... 8 minutes ago via Twitter for BlackBerry®

I guess this means Marlon, Tito and T3 will not be performing after all. Maybe this tribute is another hoax? :) :) With such confusion, don't it make you wanna scream!
