Michael Jackson -- Casket Mystery Solved
Originally posted 10 minutes ago by TMZ Staff

It's the answer to the question you were kinda curious about, then forgot about, but now you're like "Holy cow, I really wanna know -- how did Michael Jackson's body seemingly disappear after his memorial, only to reappear at the cemetery?"

On July 7, 2009 the Staples Center memorial was held in front of thousands of people in downtown L.A. --  Jackson's body was ensconced in a $25,000 red casket.

After the memorial, although hundreds of cameras and thousands of eyes were trained on the exits, no one saw any evidence that the casket left the building.  It fueled a grassy knoll-type theory that Jackson's body wasn't really inside the casket and maybe he was still alive.

Finally, our spies have come clean. Jackson's body did indeed arrive in a hearse, but it left in a SWAT van.  The van was driven to a secret location, where it rendezvoused with a Forest Lawn van -- which then transported the body to the cemetery without being noticed.

You're welcome.

Notice it says RED casket instead of Gold!  Misprint or on purpose????  Are they trying to get us to take another look at the casket?  I know there were 2 different ones for the memorial and one for the funeral.  Anyone have those pics?

Well finally TMZ think they found out where Michael went... dead or alive
Good thing is that they appear -eventhough not in the open- to be investigating every option
Seems as if this has been occupying their minds quite a bit...

Still alive 39%.. Of 12000 total votes

That's a LOT

I sincerely hope TMZ are not playing with emotions...   Michaels death (if its real) is not something to play with, make fun of or use to toy with peoples very real grief and emotions.

@DancingTheDream: it appears from this article they are openminded on this (albeit not publically), just as many of us are.
It may be a good thing they are investigating this option as well, unless it would jeopardize Michael's savety

Um wow...this is hilarious! First of all why would MJ's body need to be taken away in a SWAT van? Yes, MJ is VERY VERY VERY important. But higher security than normal would do.     And MJ's body wasn't in the casket because he never died. I find it interesting too that they have a poll if people think he's dead or not. Wow...TMZ always has something up their sleeves...smh!

I have been thinking that they may have posted the casket beinhg RED instead of GOLD because they want us to look into the fact that there were two different caskets used.  The one for the memorial is different from the one for the funeral.  I do not have these photos.  If anyone out there has them could you please post them for us???

Red is the warmest of all colors. Red is the color most chosen by extroverts and one of the top picks of males. On the negative side red can mean temper or anger. In China, red is the color of prosperity and joy. Brides wear red and front doors are often painted red. Red is Tuesday's color. Red roses symbolize passionate love. Ruby rings should be worn on the left hand. Red is the color of Mars. This planet is known as the God of War.
Red Energy

Red is associated with fiery heat and warmth. It can also mean danger (burning).

Red is the color of blood, and as such has strong symbolism as life and vitality. It brings focus to the essence of life and living with emphasis on survival. Red is also the color of passion and lust.

Put some red in your life when you want:

    * increased enthusiasm and interest
    * more energy
    * action and confidence to go after your dreams
    * protection from fears and anxieties

I hope this isn't a sick joke. Maybe TMZ started losing it's ratings and had to revert to what brought them fame in the 1st place-- MJ. They know that beLIEvers are watching them like hawks so.. i hope they aren't using us.

On the other hand, I can't help but feel ecstatic that the word is getting out! Something big is coming! And I want the truth, no matter what it is. We're so close, I can feel it. I'm beaming :-D

THIS IS IT.

It may be a good thing they are investigating this option as well, unless it would jeopardize Michael's savety

I hope so.. i just dont want them to turn Michael Jackson and his fans into a joke.  Know what i mean?

I love Michael.. and he deserves respect.   :D

I know what u mean. A part of me thinks it would be impossible for Michael to still be here with us and therefore it's really difficult to know how to react to everything that is reported. Watching Janet on Oprah didn't make it better although I have no clue why they started discussing drug addiction since that's not really what "killed" Michael  :? . And we've seen the kids out and about which to me would have to mean that Michael is still in the States if alive but where? Would it even be possible for him to hide for this long? Sorry for bringing these things up but I need to let it out...

Back to the double layer of the article.

I don't really know to make something out of the "knoll-type theory" statement.
I'll give it a try:
"Knoll type" seems to be attributed to "in the style of" design furniture (home and office).
Knoll is recognized as a worldwide design leader.

So the hoax theory is designed, stylish, global and leading.
Nice, TMZ, thx for the flowers  ;)
So hoaxers are better off than TMZ - we are worldwide leaders and stylish.

Then TMZ wants to sell us a spy story...
"Finally, our spies have come clean.
Jackson's body did indeed arrive in a hearse, but it left in a SWAT van"

http://www.lapdonline.org/metropolitan_division/content_basic_view/849
[History of S.W.A.T.

The special weapons and tactics concept originated in the late 1960s as a result of several sniping incidents against civilians and police officers around the country. Many of these incidents occurred in Los Angeles during and after the Watts Riot. Upon critical examination of how each incident was managed by police, the leadership of the LAPD realized that an effective response to these dangerous situations was virtually non-existent. Officer John Nelson presented the special weapons and tactics concept to a young inspector by the name of Darryl F. Gates. Inspector Gates concurred and approved the concept of a small group of highly disciplined officers utilizing special weapons and tactics to cope with these unusual and difficult attacks.

The first Special Weapons And Tactics (SWAT) Unit consisted of 15 four-man teams. Members of each team, who volunteered from the ranks of patrol and other police assignments, had specialized experience and prior military service. Each unit was activated for monthly training or when the need for special weapons personnel actually arose. These units, known as "station defense teams," provided security for police facilities during civil unrest.

In 1971, the SWAT personnel were assigned on a full-time basis to Metropolitan Division to respond to continuing action by subversive groups, the rising crime rate and the continuing difficulty of mustering a team response in a timely manner. Metropolitan Division, which had a long-established reputation as the tactical unit of the Department, was organized into "A", "B" and "C" Platoons. The Special Weapons And Tactics Unit was given the designation of "D" Platoon, and at the same time formally adopted the acronym SWAT. ]

Think of warnings of civil unrests in near future - not only in the U.S.

Double layer:
"Finally, our spies have come clean." - no drug addict
"Jackson's body did indeed arrive in a hearse, but it left in a SWAT van"
- MJ was at Staples July 7 but only the hearse left.

 ;)

@Grace...the grassy knoll theory is about the JFK assassination.  The grassy knoll is where many believe there was another shooter and that may have been where the fatal shot came from.  It's a well known conspiracy theory in the US.

I googled 'grassy knoll' and this is the 1st page that appeared.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dealey_Plaza (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dealey_Plaza)

and #2 on the page is this;

Thirty-five years after the Kennedy assassination and speculation about a conspiracy, "grassy knoll" has become a generic term connoting hidden plots and subterfuge.

Are they making fun of us? Okay TMZ, go ahead laugh all you want.   I find it funny that they would even post this article, I don't remember that question of what happened to the casket being asked anywhere but on these forums. They really ARE watching us. I don't know whether that's a good thing, like they're involved in the hoax & they're bringing this news out to prepare people for the BAM or if we're just fueling their fire. So that they can laugh at us & play with our minds some more & this whole hoax thing is what they're trying to stir up. Whatever the case, I have a strong feeling he was NEVER in either one of those caskets.

just read this on a funeral planning website:
http://www.funeral-planning-online.com/red-casket.html (http://www.funeral-planning-online.com/red-casket.html)

Though many people would not choose a red casket for funeral of their loved ones, it is a color and concept that would attract those that want to view death differently. It is for those that choose to avoid the solemn and subdued mood of this occasion and instead focus on the brighter and more cheerful celebration of a life lived in joy and that, inevitably, has ended.
It is not a radical choice. It is more a choice of difference and open understanding of fate. Red as a color adds meaning and brightens the otherwise somber occasion. And the fact that the finishing is artificial, you will be able to lower the cost of the casket, as opposite to when you are using hardwood.

lol...just saying...if red casket could be seen that way: view death differently

the 'grassy knoll type theory'-expression is based on a figure of speech. it means that people came up with that who 'can hear the grass grow', i think it may be used as a term for 'insider information', like 'from the root'. or, if used in a way to tell someone he's losing it by coming up with some outrageous theory.

'our spies have come clean' is a very interesting wording. 'to come clean' means to finally unveil, give up information that was withheld.

i think this is made to look like a joke, but it's really a serious clue. especially with the attached poll. that's a people counter!! 'how much support is there, really'. i just checked again, it's over 83.000 votes now and 52% percent of that say mike lives!
this hoax is such a genius piece of art. bow to the king!

Photo is fake indeed. Moreover, on Larry King question during the interview where is the body, Joe Jackson answered he does not know.
Plus, why would casket be taken to cemetery from memorial. Memorial was in July, funeral in September. Cemetery in not a public storage to keep casket for 2,5 months until funeral.

"Thirty-five years after the Kennedy assassination and speculation about a conspiracy, "grassy knoll" has become a generic term connoting hidden plots and subterfuge."

http://mcadams.posc.mu.edu/gk_name.htm

It started after the Kennedy assasination saying that there was not only Oswald in the Book Depository but also one, two or three gunmen were alsoon the ground ready to assasinate Kennedy, one of which is said to have been on the grassy knoll. People were reported to have seen and heard gunshots coming from the grassy knoll. Then it is said that the direction from which Kennedy was hit was an impossible shot to come from the Book Depository. It is known as "the magic bullet."

And that make this sentence: "It fueled a grassy knoll-type theory that Jackson's body wasn't really inside the casket and maybe he was still alive."

actually sound like this: "It fueled a very plausible theory that Jackson's body wasn't really inside the casket and maybe he was still alive."

Title: TMZ says, "Coffin Mystery solved"
Post by: Xinobi on April 10, 2010, 09:06:36 PM
(http://i41.tinypic.com/xn84lh.jpg)

Read the material that came out at TMZ:

Is the answer to the question you were curious, so I forgot but now you think like: "Wow, I really want to know - as did the body of Michael Jackson seems to disappear after his memorial, and only to reappear in the cemetery? "

On July 7, 2009, Staples Center memorial was held in front of thousands of people in downtown Los Angeles - The body of Jackson was housed in a red coffin of $ 25,000.

After the memorial, although hundreds of thousands of cameras and the eyes were trained on the exits, no one saw any evidence that the coffin left the building. He fed a theory of type Grassy Knoll Jackson's body was not inside the coffin, and perhaps he was still alive.

Finally, our spies found. The body of Jackson, in fact, arrive in a hearse, but was leaving in a SWAT van. The van was taken to a secret location, where they met with a van Forest Lawn - who then transported the body to the cemetery without being noticed.

You're welcome.

----------

Hi?

Our .... They took too long to figure that out? Because I always knew it!

After that another explanation for the coffin had to leave without being seen? It is clear that someone picked up the coffin and took to the Forest Lanw. My God! After coming out of a coffin funeral goes where? Always been told that the coffin was there waiting for the funeral. Or forgotten mausoleum? From this room that Michael was 874,653 and the Securities?

In the field above says that the disappearance of the coffin raised suspicions about him being alive (love)

but ..

Just because the team efficient TMZ discovered that the coffin was all that time in the cemetery, we now believe he died?

Hi? I laughed .. (sorry)

Putz! This becomes tãooo little before so many clues. Passes unnoticed by lala ..

Wow! .. Actually everything should be forgotten now, because TMZ has discovered that the coffin was in the cemetery. Something that is more than normal in the cemetery the coffin is, after all before he was in a funeral! Where else's coffin should be?

MY GOD!

And you know what I found most "funny"? It is that TMZ was the only one who spoke of the brain after so long .. hehe

And TMZ detective needed to discover all this? rs

Why the brain of Michael and the fate of his body was secret? rs

Another thing ..

What is this montage of the photo? The coffin running with the feet of Michael? hehehe want to say that Michael himself ran out and taking his own coffin. And dead you run? ('ve Died)

I just thought that with a tone of irony and sarcasm? lalalala (I'm sorry but unfortunate enough to be so)

Now the best of all is now ..

TMZ put this matter a poll asking: Michael alive or dead?

Aveeee ...

Detail: "still alive" is gaining ...

Look:

Does TMZ will say something about the result? Bammmm!!

Seriously ..

TMZ is doing is that poll? For pure personal pleasure? And where ethics and respect they should have the death of Michael? Oh okay! The connection is ended when they put material in the air! And remembering that TMZ is a gossip site, and only with the death of Michael they can be so "superior" to CNN and co.

OMG! As the polls that a TMZ puts on the air? 'm Beige!

It's definitely a lot of air play in my opinion, this type of question should not be on a site. The family must be "offended" .. hehe

Let's vote and prove that Michael may be alive!

I loved the "DE NADA" at the end of the matter ... rs (mta irony). We thank the staff of TMZ detective who is very efficient, and took more than 5 months to find out that Michael was in the cemetery .. that would be buried? (I wonder where they thought he was)

In my humble opinion, when TMZ says that we must believe that he is alive, because now they know that Michael's body was in the cemetery and thus explaining the disappearance of the body, they are in some way "forced" to believe that he dead! But followed shortly finalize the matter with the polls asking if people think he is alive.

(Complex)

TMZ decides dear ..! Or do you want fans to think he is alive or dead! (TMZ TMZ TMZ ALWAYS ..)

And remembering that she is profiting from this kind of matter. And if her goal is to be funny is getting, but if you wanted a picture of a broadcaster with credibility and serious .. this kind of "game" will be named to the drain. After all we are talking about a person who died.

Anyway ..

here is the link of the matter:

Thank you. The grassy knoll is THE one American conspiracy theory that is considered mainstream and plausible. In that way, it stands alone from other conspiracy theories which are generally considered fringe-y and a little woo woo out there.

http://abclocal.go.com/kabc/story?secti ... id=6906708 (http://abclocal.go.com/kabc/story?section=news/entertainment&id=6906708)

Here is an old article that mentions the same:

The Jackson family is not revealing where the body is at this point. It's possible his remains were brought back to Forest Lawn, but the Hollywood Hills cemetery may not be his final resting place.

The family gathered for a private memorial service Tuesday morning at Forest Lawn, then the golden casket was driven to Staples Center, where about 19,500 people attended the public memorial service.

Eyewitness News has learned how Michael Jackson's casket was removed from Staples Center undetected after Tuesday's memorial service. It was taken out of the arena hidden in an LAPD SWAT vehicle minutes after the memorial ended.
"We're not going to discuss how the body was removed. As Chief Bratton says we have to keep some secrets," a spokesperson for the LAPD chief told Eyewitness News when asked about the removal.

L.A. City Councilmember Dennis Zine is outraged Jackson's memorial service is costing the city what he estimates to be more than $1.4 million. The amount included $1.1 million in overtime pay for the 4,173 officers who worked to secure Staples Center, Forest Lawn cemetery and other areas that attracted fans and members of the media, police said in a statement.

"Why would they have to put a casket in the SWAT van?" Zine questioned. "Why did they have to have SWAT deployed anyway? What kind of terrorist threat was placed upon this with Michael Jackson who had passed away?"

He says Jackson's concert promoter and Staples Center owner AEG should pick up the tab.

"AEG Staples should measure up and do what they're supposed to do. And the Jackson family as a part of this should say it was our loved one, it was the services that were performed for Michael Jackson, they should pay we shouldn't be profiting off of this," said Zine.

City officials said Wednesday that the remaining amount covered traffic control, cleanup and other costs related to Tuesday's public memorial service, which was watched by tens of millions of people around the world.

The city has also set up a Web site urging fans to make tax-deductible donations through credit cards, PayPal or check to help defray costs.

Fans have thus far donated $17,000, but contributions have been hampered by technical problems, Szabo said in a statement.

The site received so many hits that the servers crashed Tuesday night and several times Wednesday, Szabo said. The city's information technology department is working to rectify the problems.

New City Controller Wendy Greuel is also raising an issue with the cost. Greuel has called on the City Council to create a policy declaring who should pay for city services associated with such events.

In a letter to the emergency management department, Greuel criticized the nearly $49,000 expense for 3,500 police officers' lunches, which were ordered from a restaurant located 80 miles from Los Angeles in Wrightwood.

Greuel said her office called a local sandwich shop that could have provided box lunches for less than $17,500. The purchase would have had the added benefit of supporting a local business, she said.

Jackson's public memorial service has prompted an investigation by City Attorney Carmen Trutanich to determine how the city got stuck with the bill and who authorized the city's use of resources.

Officials said although the memorial cost $1.4 million, it was far less than the $4 million that was originally estimated.

Police detectives are looking into Jackson's prescription drug history and trying to talk with his numberous former doctors. The coroner has so far deferred the cause of Jackson's death pending the results of toxicology tests.

"Based on those we'll have an idea of what it is that we're dealing with," said LAPD Chief William Bratton. "Are we dealing with a homicide? Are we dealing with an accidental overdose? What are we dealing with?"

According to ABC News, Jackson was addicted to the painkillers Demerol and oxycontin. The sedative Diprivan was also found inside Jackson's rented mansion.

ABC News is also reporting that Jackson's brothers will ask the state if they can bury the body at Neverland Ranch, even though that is reportedly not what his mother Katherine Jackson wants.

Los Angeles County records show Forest Lawn mortuary as a temporary location.

Experts say a delay in burial is not unusual, but the law requires that the body be stored properly.

"It's my understanding that once the body is released, that there are no other requirements as long as its being properly stored. If, however, it is not being properly stored, and it becomes a matter of health and safety concerns, then the county coroner would be the individual who would be taking responsibility at that point," said Rick Wallender from the state cemetery and funeral bureau.

Dozens of Encino residents met with city officials on Wednesday night to discuss the disruptions casued by street closures and fans and media gathered outside the Jackson family residence.

After being closed for several days, Hayvenhurst Avenue has reopened and is now subject to regular parking restrictions.

The Associated Press contributed to this story.

As a non-native English speaker I admit I LOVE the word games we are constantly witnessing.
Native English speakers may have a difficulty in getting the double meanings since they most likely understand the common main meaning of a word or sentence.
Non-native English speakers check words or sentences once in a while by searching for the right interpretation or out of curiosity.

CASKET = A LITTLE CASE FOR JEWELS

Back to the double layer of the article.

I don't really know to make something out of the "knoll-type theory" statement.
I'll give it a try:
"Knoll type" seems to be attributed to "in the style of" design furniture (home and office).
Knoll is recognized as a worldwide design leader.

So the hoax theory is designed, stylish, global and leading.
Nice, TMZ, thx for the flowers  ;)
So hoaxers are better off than TMZ - we are worldwide leaders and stylish.

Then TMZ wants to sell us a spy story...
"Finally, our spies have come clean.
Jackson's body did indeed arrive in a hearse, but it left in a SWAT van

 ;)

the 'grassy knoll type theory'-expression is based on a figure of speech. it means that people came up with that who 'can hear the grass grow', i think it may be used as a term for 'insider information', like 'from the root'. or, if used in a way to tell someone he's losing it by coming up with some outrageous theory.

What about the wording ensconced in "Jackson's body was ensconced in a $25,000 red casket"

I'm starting to thing that they are playing with us. They've probably come across this site & know what we talk about, so they know we've discussed & questioned the whereabouts of the casket after the memorial. I don't remember hearing about that being questioned, I've only read it here. I think they are getting a kick out of this & they are playing along. Ahhhh! This just made my day!!

While I do agree with the possibility of TMZ just playing with us (it could seem like the to some, but not those of us who have been doing our own research and not only relying on TMZ) BUT I personally believe this to be perhaps the best and most OBVIOUS clue they have given us! For crying out loud, Michael's feet are walking the casket. I don't think they would take death jokes quite THAT far, unless they knew it was okay. The only way to know it's okay is to get the THUMBS UP from the man himself! As well as over HALF of TMZ viewer's who believe he's alive.

This was a fantastic post by TMZ. The poll put the cherry on top, because even non-believers who just see that will start to question things and hopefully dig deeper.

I have a great feeling about this. We are getting closer!!  :)

TMZ take long to figure that out? Because I always knew it!

After that another explanation for the coffin had to leave without being seen? Of course, someone picked up the coffin and took to the Forest Lanw. My God! After coming out of a coffin funeral goes where? Always been told that the coffin was there waiting for the funeral. Or forgotten mausoleum? From this room that Michael was 874653 Securities?

In the field above says that the disappearance of the coffin raised suspicions about him being alive (love)

but ..

Just because the team efficient TMZ discovered that the coffin was all that time in the cemetery, we now believe he died?

Hi? I laughed .. (sorry)

This becomes tãooo little before so many clues. Passes unnoticed by

Wow! Really .. it must be forgotten now, because TMZ has discovered that the coffin was in the cemetery. Something that is more than normal in the cemetery the coffin is, after all before he was in a funeral! Where else's coffin should be?

MY GOD!

And you know what I found most "funny"? It is that TMZ was the only one who spoke of the brain after so long ...

And TMZ detective needed to discover all this?

Why the brain of Michael and the fate of his body was secret?

TMZ is doing is that poll? For pure personal pleasure? And where ethics and respect they should have the death of Michael? Oh okay! The connection is ended when they put material in the air! And remembering that TMZ is a gossip site, and only with the death of Michael so they can be more than CNN and co.

OMG! As the polls that a TMZ puts on the air?

Definitely it is very fun in my opinion, this type of question should not be on a site. The family must be "offended."

In my humble opinion, when TMZ says that we must believe that he is alive, because now they know that Michael's body was in the cemetery and thus explaining the disappearance of the body, they are somehow forcing us to believe he died! But followed shortly finalize the matter with the polls asking if people think he is alive. So she is putting a question in the air: Michael is still alive?

TMZ decides dear ... Or do you want fans to think he is alive or dead! (TMZ, ALWAYS TMZ)

And remembering that she is profiting from this kind of matter. And if her goal is to be funny is getting, but if you wanted a picture of a serious broadcaster with credibility and this kind of joke .. take the name down the drain. After all we are talking about a person who died.

let's get into the rhythm of "game" of TMZ?  I´m voting  still alive

What is the point in the same people continually voting for "RIP" or "alive" - arent polls supposed to reflect the general publics view on the situation?

The poll means nothing now that believers are fixing the results of the poll by continually voting for their own beliefs.

What is the point of that>  what does it achieve????

You're right, but it's pointless mentioning.

Another thing, it appears everytime you need to vote in order to see the poll results

I honestly think that TMZ got lot of attention in the last year thanks to the believers..and I think the percentage RIP/STILL ALIVE deosn't reflect correctly the general people mind.I think that most of the voters are believers, the same that are paying so much attention to TMZ in last months. But I don't care..I believe and that' s all.

Yes , its most likely that the believers are voting ,but I don't think the voting  percentage matters as much as the idea in posting the poll ............

If the poll result really mattered for TMZ they would have made it impossible to vote several times. The matter here is clearly the poll itself.

I know what you mean. The only reason I continue to vote again is because i want to post the progress on the polls and I'm not voting, refreshing, voting, refreshing, I will just vote every 15-20 minutes, or longer, to check. I am not continually voting over and over again so my measly 10 votes or so probably barely effected the standings.

regarding the inaccuracy of the poll-meter:
even  if single people vote several times and it thus cannot be a representative in terms of individual votes, the sheer number of votes is an indicator here. almost 165,000 votes were counted, so even if you have a few hundred votes coming from only a few people, that is a vast number altogether!

i don't know if any 'ballot box' on tmz was ever frequented that much...

I don't remember hearing about that being questioned, I've only read it here. I think they are getting a kick out of this & they are playing along. Sure, they could be involved in the hoax or they might see the possibility of him being alive. But stories like this just seem like they are pulling our leg.

It's kind of obvious, the question about the whereabouts of the casket after the memorial was asked on these forums, & they obviously check these forums & read everything we say. Also, they say "You're welcome" at the end of the article, as if directing it to us, like "there you go hoax believers, we found your answer" & then they put the poll just to mess with us. It's all directed to the hoax believers. Stupid TMZ.

I don't find it particulary funny since all the hoaxers was voting over and over again, I think the real statistics would have been really interesting to see. TMZ was first to speak about the death of Michael, so I think she should be more certain about it ..
The point here is that they should not have any doubt about a person who makes more than 4 months who died, and even more when dealing with a celebrity.
If they throw it in the air now, is yes because they want to create a question mark in our mind. Even though TMZ is a gossip site, it should be more responsible and not hurt the feelings of a family.
By the way ... why the family don´t process the TMZ?

It seems that tmz corrected their mistake : http://www.tmz.com/2010/04/10/michael-j ... es-center/ (http://www.tmz.com/2010/04/10/michael-jackson-casket-memorial-burial-staples-center/)

We know that TMZ does not correct articles in the sense of "oh, there's a typo".
Well, there is a lot to be read about bronze.

Definition (all fromhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bronze):
[Bronze is a metal alloy consisting primarily of copper, usually with tin as the main additive, but sometimes with other elements such as phosphorus, manganese, aluminium, or silicon. It is hard and brittle, and it was particularly significant in antiquity, giving its name to the Bronze Age.]

[The discovery of bronze enabled people to create better metal objects than was previously possible. Tools, weapons, armor, and various building materials, like decorative tiles, made of bronze were harder and more durable than their stone and copper ("Chalcolithic") predecessors.]

[Typically bronze only oxidizes superficially;]
The colour of the oxide is green.

[Bronze parts are tough and typically used for bearings, clips, electrical connectors and springs.] [Phosphor bronze ]...] is also used in guitar and piano strings.]
[Bronze is the most popular metal for top-quality bells, particularly bell metal, which is about 23% tin.]

So in short bronze is strong, a tough metal alloy and not only serving for art and sculptures but also for music instruments.

Should we wait for some new music now after the love messages?

I happened to notice that in this picture below, Michael's feet are moonwalking:

Obviously, we know moonwalking is a backward motion, so why is his coffin essentially moving FROM the Forest Lawn van TO the S.W.A.T van?

Shouldn't it be the other way around judging by the article?

Is this a clue in itself?  Why did they show a Forest Lawn van?  The article isn't about FL, it's about the memorial!

This is the original photo TMZ used:

It's from the 1995 MTV VMA Awards, so he definitely IS moonwalking in both this shot AND the photoshopped composition.
